NOT A MAN OF OUR COMPANY WAS MISSING - Not Even One Series 003

Numbers 31:48-49, KJV

"48 And the officers which were over thousands of the host, the captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, came near unto Moses: 49 And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war which are under our charge, and there lacketh not one man of us."

This is the report Moses got from the commanders of thousands and hundreds who led the Israelites' troops to battle. It is that they have numbered after the war and found that none of the hair of their head had fallen to the earth. They went to battle with a certain number of soldiers and at returning reports back to the base with the record of total completion.

It is a blessing if you engage with a number and return with the same number. It's a blessing when after it all, you're not taking a record of losses. It's a blessing if a pregnant woman enters for delivery with the hope to give birth to the second in her and returns with that baby and herself. That is when none of the hair on her head has fallen to the ground.

I pray for you, you won't suffer or begin to count losses. Even as the year progresses, you won't have a story of losses to tell. You're redeemed from every loss encounter. When you engage and go out full, at evening tide when you shall return, you won't return back empty. This prayer and receiving is so germane because it's not everyone who steps out full that returns full (the same way). On the way and in their journey, they might have leaked virtues or lost souls who traveled with them. This happened to Elimelech who carried his family to a foreign country. They never came back complete. Naomi crying says, "20 Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me. 21 I went out full, and the LORD hath brought me home again empty: why then call ye me Naomi, seeing the LORD hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me" (Ruth 1:20-21, KJV).

If you go out of God's plan, you can't but suffer or record losses. That's why she says, "the Almighty has testified against me."

When you take a number of your family at evening time, none shall be missing. No strand of your hair would have been declared fallen. None would have been announced missing or kidnapped and even though they return home, none would have strayed from faith (a greater loss).

PRAYER: Lord, I have entered into Year 2025. My covenant and declaration is none shall be missing of all I took into it.

NOT A HAIR OF YOUR HEAD WILL FALL - Not Even One Series 2

I Samuel 14:45, KJV

"And the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel? God forbid: as the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought with God this day. So the people rescued Jonathan, that he died not."

When the Bible says yesterday, "but the very hairs of your head are all numbered", it means also, "none can fall without His knowledge." If one hair should fall, He actually is in the know of its falling.

In the Old Testament especially, there's usually a saying formed around the hair of one's head. You'll often hear Bible characters say, "and not a hair of your head will fall down/to the ground." What they mean is that the least harm would not befall the fellow they're speaking to.

I don't know what your situation is. It may be mild or critical. Irrespective of what it is or how it looks, the God of the mountain is also the God of the valley. If there's anything He's saying now, "it is that no hair of your head will fall to the ground."

I pray for you, you will not experience any harm and if it comes, no hair of your head will fall down. No least evil or consequence would be recorded to have fallen on you. Not a strand of your hair will fall down! The Bible has spoken well concerning you when it says, "He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee" (Job 5:19, KJV). However, if it does come, you'll not experience the least harm. Listen, no hair of your head will fall to the ground!

PRAYER: I don't record losses. I am full and I remain full.

ALL NUMBERED! - Not Even One Series 001

Matthew 10:29-30, KJV

"29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered."

Do you believe this? Do you believe that none of the hairs of your head will fall to the ground without God's prior knowledge? The Bible says in Matthew 10:30, "but the very hairs of your head are all numbered." That it is all numbered portrays many images. One of which is the fact that God wants to keep or protect you securely. What is numbered or counted is meant to be kept securely from losses or any form of harm. Except it increases, it ought not to decrease. But even when one falls down, it must be at God's word or prior knowledge. Does God descend so low to look at us and what concerns us?

Do you know what that means? It shows how farthest God cares for you. We all know how least the hairs of our heads are. They're part of the things we may not esteem as great but which are formed on the body. However, the Bible says, "but the very hairs of your head (that are many and insignificant) are all numbered." Despite its great number, God is not puzzled about how many there are on your head. Does He not know the number of stars and call each of them by name despite their number (Psalm 147:4)? He just knows because He cares for you as a person. That's why He is this careful to know the least details of your life. Psalm 8 talks of this when it says, "what is man that thou art mindful of him and the son of man that thou visiteth him" (Psalm 8:4). The Psalmist takes this further when he pens the entire Psalm 139 to speak about such wondrous knowledge of God that knows him in and out. God's mindfulness of him is revealed in how nothing of him is hidden or withheld from God. Even the words which he'll speak which are still in his tongue are known by God (Psalm 139:4).

Psalms 139:1-6, KJV

"1 O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. 2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. 3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. 5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it."

The Psalmist himself confesses, "such knowledge (of God knowing everything about me) is too wonderful or unattainable for me." Don't you think God is an extraordinary God that goes so far to know the insignificant details that concern us. If the Bible says, "but the very hairs of your head are all numbered", tell me what in your life happens by chance without God's knowledge. If He keeps records on your hair, it means He knows when one sprouts or falls off.

Be comforted! God's care system covers you. If the very hairs of your head that fall and immediately become waste are this observed and thought after by God, does He not care over your finances, marriage, career, calling etc?

PRAYER: Lord, I release all. I let go of my worries, fears and concerns. I believe in you and in your word that I am worth more than many sparrows.

HAVING AN EXPECTED END

Jeremiah 29:11, KJV

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

You can't know what a drug can do experientially until you take it. The potential hidden in that capsule or tablet would be manifested in you once it is swallowed and it all goes to work. As sure as the manufacturer is, that drug never fails and it has been specifically made to meet certain health needs that you might have. While that drug is potent however and powerful to recover, he who refuses to take it can't witness its healing power.

In like manner, God says, "I know the thoughts that I have towards you, thoughts of good and not of evil to give you a hope and a future." In simple terms, there are certain potentials that we could peak as God highlighted here. Revelatory, one of the ways - if not the germane way through which God gives us a hope and a future is through our ordained calling. God has planned for every human being and He has afore ordained that when you do the life's work that He created or fitted you for at creation, that you become an expected end that'll be colossal in there.

One of the major hindrances to having hope (continued expectation or trust of gigantic thing) is when you have missed it and have gone into fields that you're less equipped for. God didn't created you to disgrace you or clip your wings. He wanted you to manifest and function succinctly and effectively to the end of the world. So, He loads you with gifts and potentials that are specifically crafted or most suited for a field or way of life. It is not everybody that can endure solitariness. I know that because I can but my wife hates it. However, some by their makeups are fitted naturally for such kind of life. So, if you'd ever heard that someone became a nun or monk or goes on to become a sage who lives by himself without any interruption from humans except relation with nature, you might begin to have access into the wisdom why some choose certain fields and ways of life and why others find it boring and unacceptable. I don't know any prophet who is not naturally suited for solitariness. If he is not naturally suited, he'll be beaten into one to the measure he can have relationship and communication with God.

The hope that God will renew or kindle in you (as you feel called and you pursue relentlessly your calling) will lead undebatably to a future or an expected end. When God says, "an expected end", it means "a conclusive end." When God created you, He created your years to come and ordained the details of things you should become as well. Read Jeremiah 1:5 to see how conclusively God talked about Jeremiah. He wasn't an afterthought at all! So, if you align with your destiny and live as the fated one, your result will be the expected one. The kind that has been predestined, foreshadowed or prophecied or slated. Reading through the synoptic gospels, you'll often read, "and it is written that it might be fulfilled..." Jesus lived the ordained life. Even when His parents took him to live in Nazareth after the demise of Herod and their return to Israel, the Bible says, "that it might be fulfilled that He is a Nazarene" (Matt.2:23).

God has ordained that you meet it so as slated or have it as the words of His mouth or His plans have slated also. When you do your life's work (where your destiny is coded and concealed), you'll meet it so. As you go on carrying steps, you'll be unwrapping many things God has kept and hidden for you in that specific calling of yours.

This reminds me of a revelatory dream or vision Bishop Dag Heward Mills had. He said he was journeying and he came on a heap of gold. Then, he stopped, devising how to move the gold and possess it all. He actually thought of calling for a truck to move the entire thing. But just then, he heard a voice or so saying, "you don't have to halt your ministry here because of this. Continue your ministry. On the road that I have called you, there are many more of such reward. Just fill your hand with some handfuls and put it in your pocket and journey on."

Bishop Dag Heward Mills is a founder and pastor of one of the fastest growing churches in the world. His healing Jesus Campaign Crusade has ministered to many not to talk of his books, especially the Loyalty and Disloyalty Series that has helped countless ministers including those running organizations outside the church world.

Brethren, the promise of a future and a hope or an expected end as put by some other versions is a manifestation of heeding your destiny. Like a capsule or tablet coded with healing potentials, your destiny is concealing the expected end you could become and will become when your calling is heeded. Your calling is the capsule carrying your destiny or everything God planned you should get great by. Mark that!

PRAYER: I see right and live right. I pursue my calling and become its expressly predicted end.

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - Olusola ADEJUMO

THE MAKING OF ROOM FOR A JOSEPH

Read Gen.39:1-6

Genesis 39:3, KJV

"And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand."

Did you read that verse above? That verse testifies to God trying to make a room for Joseph. To be noticed or observed isn't far fetched. God only needs to act on your behalf. Men only need to be persuaded to give you a trial. Acceptance is not something you buy with money. Trust is not something you bargain for with mere words. You must earn it one way or the other. When God was set to make Joseph privileged though a slave, "He was with him." Now, what are the things that the Lord being with any would cause? Favour, prosperity, divine attraction for attention are three which were visible in Joseph's life. Immediately the Lord was with him, all he does prospers. It is no longer Joseph now but the covenant blessing of Abraham giving him flourishing, excelling and productive results. If Joseph should dig where others couldn't get water initially, you'd see him discover and come back with water. Why? A Spirit has joined and mixed Himself with his output so much more that this became known to all. They've been shocked and shocked over at the unusualness of his results. There's just nothing he does that he does not prosper in. This is where it is not of work lest any man should boast but of grace. This is where it is no longer of Joseph but of God. As far as we know, his prosperity was because God was with him. What would he have achieved if God was far from him? This should keep any with prosperity humble and makes him an eternal steward and subordinate under the righteous hand of God. How we ought to also desire and covet like Moses and other men of old that if His presence doesn't go with us, we wouldn't go. His presence is enough and the overall determiner of what might happen to us on the journey. It's that presence Joseph didn't lack and it paid off.

Joseph also was said to have found grace. He seems to be loved above others. Something seems to be calling attention to him and what he does. Pharaoh seeing the Lord is with him tends to be having soft spot for him now. He wants to treat him specially and entrust something in his hands which others couldn't have because they haven't been certified to him. But Joseph could because he has been recommended to him by the Lord who made all he does to prosper in his hands. And since he's not ready to suffer harm or losses in what he has at home or the field, he needs such a man that can watch his back yet nothing would be marred in his hands. He needs a man that would watch over all he has and same won't decrease but rather multiply. For this reason, he made him the General Manager and Overseer of his household. That's wisdom. He saw that all he does prospers and he's now leveraging on the fact that once it touches that boy's hands, it becomes gold. All these things are steps taken by God to ensure Joseph was carved a space of recognition in Potiphar's house. At least, he had some degree of privilege, respect and special treatment unlike the ordinary slaves and staff (even the Indigenes). Don't forget that Joseph is Hebrew - a stranger. It therefore becomes difficult persuading an Egyptian who must have seen slaves act as slaves over the years to set a slave as the head of his house. It even looks diminishing. Others could have said, "why don't you look for one of us and entrust him with such job? Why that odd one?" But we all know why? Potiphar was necessitated making Joseph the head of his house because God made room for "that boy." How? God made all he does to be prosperous and this was not hidden to Potiphar. That verse says, "and when Potiphar saw that God made all he does to prosper in his hands..." It was that observation that led to the making of the room and the flinging open of that special door he enjoys. Look at me, there's no where you are that God goes with you that any would be able to push you aside.

Never! Except you don't go with God. Except his presence has left you. That's when you can be taken for granted but if He be with you, you'll be the centre of attraction without trying. God will just appease men on your behalf and draw attention to you. He did for Joseph. He made him have special results. The mathematics equations that others couldn't solve, when it got to his own hands, he cracked it open. From this and more, all the departmental and college professors began to take cognizance of him and commit into his hands. This is how God makes people who are nobodies to ride on their high places. He only needs to pull a string. God is doing that for you today. He'll speak for you like He spoke to Potiphar on behalf of Joseph. He'll persuade people to receive you without a speech from you. Your space won't be vacant any longer because you shall arise and take your place even if you're a stranger in a strange land. I see a room being made for you. I see men being convinced about you. I see fathers in their fields saying, "he's the man for the job." They're hiring you right away and all shall be traced to "God being with you" that no man may boast.

PRAYER: Lord, make a room for me career wise. Recommend me to men of high places. Anoint my hands for special productivity and prosperity. Let my good deeds be noticed.

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - Olusola ADEJUMO

SO SCARED AND SO DIVIDED

Read Deut. 28:1-7

Deuteronomy 28:7, KJV

"The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways."

You should burst into laughter after reading that verse. 'One way attack and seven ways fleeing' really shows the cowardice heart of your enemies. This is the Lord's provision for those who are His, who are adherents and abiders in Him. Without Him, we know we can do nothing. This off course includes gaining victory over the enemy.

Today's anchor verse is fully loaded with blessings. In warfare, strategy is usually foremost. Strategic attack is the wit and soul of warfare and so it is usually employed by all military mights. No wonder, there's an entire section dedicated to military intelligence and strategy in the force. It is just for proper learning of the enemy, his ways and how to smoothly launch attacks at him. "The Lord (not any other) shall cause our enemies that rise up against you to be smitten (beaten down and to stubble) before you..." This suggests victory for us. However, we need to examine how the Lord does such work or achieves such promised end. As such, we have the part B of that verse which says, "they shall come out against you one way, and flee before you seven ways."

"Coming out against you one way" suggests the orderliness and coordination of the enemy's attack at launching out and attack time. At this time, the enemy is still in his wit, boldness and sticking yet to his strategic plans. He still believes he could strike fear in you and in your camp. So, he is orderly - maintaining his cool. However, at the herald of a sound that does boom, the enemy is shaken, runs helter skelter for life and for safety. At such moment, he forgets formal arrangements or engagements but seeks safety and safety only. As such, he becomes scattered, abandoning all plans that was to be taken and was decided on in the war room. Now is the time for self preservation and that becomes his solitary goal. Having witnessed a power more gloriously superb than his, he can't but seek refuge. And to do this, he throws caution away but seeks safety in panic, destabilization and throbbing fear. This is why the enemy that has come out against you will flee before you in seven ways. It is due to having witnessed a greater power and for having come to the realization of needing escape so urgently. He therefore doesn't mind which way he goes as far as he secures safety.

Their hearts will fail them. They'll be frightened out of their wits. You see, when the hearts of people fail them, they'll literally lose their senses and forget plans they had pledged allegiance to. At times, they might suffer heart attack, fall down from an arrest of the heart and yield up the ghost. That killed Nabal. When he heard of the match of David, he was afraid, was frozen and immediately was dead at heart. It didn't take a minute before he collapsed to the ground (I Sam.25:37). That's what fear can do. It scares people to do the unreasonable.

The sort of fear that will descend on those who come out against you is such that'll frighten them out of their wits and jolt them to the realization that they've messed with the wrong fellow. It's therefore regrettable like a dog's entering into the lion's den with a boast to challenge him. You know how regrettable that would be. The enemy will drop his weapons and devices and flee in different directions. We have seen many images of this in the Bible and during times of war.

Syria came to build siege against Samaria. However, at God's declaration that there will be surplus, God made the Syrian army hear many noises of chariots and horses. Thinking the king of Israel had gone to hire armies against them, they fled for their lives - not considering orderliness, formality and organization.

The Bible records that their tents were left as it were (II Kings 7:6-7). They didn't have any time to lose their horses, pack their belongings or collect their provisions. They only ran for dear lives. Another confirming verse says, "and all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste" (II Kings 7:15). As a matter of fact, they cast away every weight that could hinder them from right and timely escape.

That is a likeable example of what that verse says. Look, let them come out against you one way at any time. It is written that they shall be discomfited so much before you that they'll lack proper organization (like before) but be scattered and flee (mindful only of escape) before you in seven ways. They'll severely be uncoordinated in their bid to escape. They might come coordinated but the terror that'll descend on them will leave them broken up, fragmented and scattered into several parts and that's seven parts as the Scripture guaranteed. If their band ever met, they'll question themselves, "Where were you and how did you really escape?" Their narratives would be that of a fearful and narrow escape. As such, you'll become the terror, the fear and the obeyed that the enemy gives obedience to.

As you abide in Christ, He'll build a shelter of fear and terror over and round you. It'll be real and thicker than a cloud so much more that no man will be able to break in. They'll fear touching you and that'll be because of that hedge. At attempt to violate you, they'll witness a failure and see that your Redeemer is strong. At any attempt, what shall happen is a scattering and a dispersing into seven places. Yes, seven places that'll show how really discomfited the enemies are before you.

PRAYER: Lord, may I always abide in You. I am sealed and can't be violated. No hand touches me.

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - Olusola ADEJUMO

LORD, I SEEK AN OCCASION!

Read Judges 14, 15

Judges 14:4, NLT

"But Samson told his father, "Get her for me! She looks good to me." His father and mother didn't realize the Lord was at work in this, creating an opportunity to work against the Philistines, who ruled over Israel at that time."

There are those who where they are, it is the troubling of the water they are waiting for (John 5:1-7). Once they sight the water troubled, it'll be to them a shot in the air. It will herald their take off. That'll immediately launch them into what they have been waiting or hoping to do. However, if the troubling of the water never comes, they might tarry, waiting for the opportunity to launch into the water. That's because the arrival of the stirring angel and the moving of the water is the only provided occasion to launching into the healing pool.

To do something or become something, you need the rightful leverage or opportunity. You can't manifest more than the open door God has given to you. If you're agitating inside you to manifest and be revealed to the world in your own day but you have no divinely granted opening, occasion or opportunity for that, you might remain at the backside of the desert for life. For David to leave obscurity and be revealed to Israel, the entire Israelites' army including King Saul were paralyzed for forty days. They couldn't take on the Goliath challenge. It took God to sovereignly send David to the battle through the hands of Jesse, his father. The occasion God found for that was the checking on the welfare of his brothers at battle. However, that was just a front God hide the real purpose behind. Even David had to respond to Eliab saying, "is there not a cause?" (I Sam.17:29).

How I pray today that those of you where you are who are seeking an occasion to launch into something or start something would see that door opened unto you so soon. Until then, you'll have no accommodation or granted space to manifest. You'll just remain pregnant with your vision without a platform created for you to give birth to it. If not, one might even die waiting.

In today's reading, Samson was thought to have been frivolous. At Timnath, he saw a beautiful woman who he sought to marry. He troubles his parents over getting her for him. Knowing that a believer must not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever, the parents would not. They wanted him to make a choice of an Israelite. However, the Bible adds this side comment to vindicate Samson and his desire.

Judges 14:4, KJV

"But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel."

So, it was the Lord roaming about - moving and vibrating on the earth seeking an occasion to give to Samson to begin to live out the calling of being a deliverer. However, that occasion - the first of it that'll open the door of ministry to Samson began by being couched in an unequally yoked marriage. Not that God seeks to work against Himself or contradict His everlasting principles. If you follow the storyline, you'll see that Samson eventually didn't marry this Philistine woman. All that God needed was to create an incident that can avail Samson the opportunity, leverage and open the door for the fulfillment of why He called him. Samson's inability to enter into his wife coupled with the fact that he was angered and outwitted by the Philistines who ploughed with his heifer started the beginning of the deliverances God started to wrought with him and give to Israel. While you may mourn the fact that Samson lost a wife to his friend, God's thought was established firmly on that advancing purpose and the bringing of Israel the predicted deliverance.

Samson couldn't have started on his own. An occasion had to be presented to him from heaven to take. That's why I believe the verse that says, "a man can receive nothing except it be given him from above" (John 3:27). I know those who'll break their backs trying to have what has not been given them from above. If you have a destiny to fulfill, while you're eager to manifest, one wisdom you must watch out for is God's divinely ordained moment coupled with an open and granted platform for that. I know those who out of desperateness to manifest soiled their garments because they took a leverage and sought to rise, kill and eat from a sheet that never descended from God. At day's end, they polluted their callings having been joined to the uncircumcised. Samson however had to receive an open door in order to begin to manifest the stirrings he had felt in Mahaneh-dan, between the towns of Zorah and Eshtaol. God has been moving, training and coming on him for that purpose. The intent for that stirring is therefore about to be fulfilled and it couldn't have found expression until God had found the rightful occasion or opportunity for Samson to begin to manifest through. If you'll follow this storyline to chapter 15 of Judges, you'll see how this little door or occasion led to the many killings of Philistines - the beginning of deliverance for Israel.

May God allow you too to manifest your calling. May God ordain an occasion that's ripe for you. Have you been waiting for a time or an opportunity that'll avail you swift moves? I pray, let there be orchestrations of that. You'll see signs and you shall know that, "now is the time and this day is the day."

PRAYER: Father, give me a door to avail me my heart desires. Cook for me an opportunity that'll become my launch pad into destiny.
