JESUS IS THE DOOR! - Laying It Down Series 004

John 10:7, KJV

"Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep."

Jesus is the door! It is by the physical door we make entrance into a house. Without a door, it becomes difficult to gain an entrance into any building. At best, one would climb in any other way and we know that's exactly the act and habit of thieves and robbers (John 10:1). That's the route many have taken when they say they believe in Muhammad or one other person different from Jesus.

Since Jesus called Himself "the door", it means something.

John 10:9, KJV

"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."

Did you see the purpose for which He called himself the door? "By me, if any man enters in, he shall be saved and we shall go in and out finding pastures."

However, I'll like us to put something in proper perspective. He called Himself "the door." The definite article (adjective) "the" was used here. If someone says, "I am the boss", it means there's or there are no other bosses except that other fellow. That's the exact message that Jesus was seeking to pass when He says, "I am the door." It means there is no other door. Since He says by me any that enters will be saved, it means there's no other salvation or redemption anywhere else except in Himself.

Now, this is contrary to the popular thing being preached by some. Even many preachers are now preaching inclusivity because they want to be accepted by the larger society. Jesus is not one of the ways or doors. He is THE DOOR! Spoken another way round, we have another scripture that validates this.

John 14:6, KJV

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Did you read that? Let us bring out specifically things Jesus called Himself here.

a. I am the WAY

b. I am the TRUTH

c. I am the LIFE

It means no other person, prophet, god or religious leader, founder or predecessor is.

One of the confusions of our world is, "who's the way?" Yet, Jesus calls Himself the WAY and emphatically calls Himself the DOOR! We know the purpose the door serves. We now know that it means entrance into a building, that is the body of Christ if we enter through Him.

Are you there seeking the way, truth and life? Jesus is all! You cannot enter through Buddha, Muhammad, Confucius or any other revered person. None of those offers true salvation to any. Only Jesus died for the sins of the whole world (John 3:16, Rom. 5:8). Jesus eliminated other options that could be when He emphatically called Himself the door. It means no other door there be that guarantees salvation from sin and offers eternal life. No other! The only excuse you can give to take a false door or walk a wrong way is if you're not trying to go to Jesus' Father as He said.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

We know the path each of us take will lead to different destinations.

If it's heaven you want to make, you can only enter through Jesus! That is if it's Yahweh's heaven and not other created illusions to confuse men and gather followers.

This is the simple message of salvation. Jesus is the door and you should enter through Him. How can you enter? By believing He's who He called Himself? By believing He's the salvation (Matt. 1:21), the truth the world is looking for and life for any that finds Him, even for eternity.

Do you believe all these? Then take this confession with me. "Lord Jesus, I believe in your death and resurrection that provided me with salvation. Forgive my sins and come and live in my heart. Thank you Jesus!"

As simple as that is, you have believed and confessed unto salvation (Rom.10:9). Welcome into the fold. Find a Bible believing church to be a family member and get grounded in the truth until you become Jesus' tool also.

PRAYER: Lord, let many come to the realization of your being the door! The only One who saves from sin and eternal damnation.

MARKING THE GOOD SHEPHERD - Laying It Down Series 003

John 10:11, KJV

"I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep."

There's one sure way to mark the "good shepherd", it's to measure if he can lay down his life for the sheep. You can claim to be a parent but if you're not living as a responsible one, we quickly decipher what sort of parent you are. You are not a good parent. We aren't arguing that you are a parent but the distinction is that you aren't "a good one."

That verse was spoken by Jesus Himself. He said, "I am the good shepherd, the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep." It is the heart of sacrifice and the readiness to even sacrifice Himself (even unto yielding up His life or risking it for the sheep) that makes Him the good shepherd and sets Him apart from the hireling.

While Jesus died for the sins of the whole world by risking His life and laying it down, the hireling flees from that. The religious leaders of Jesus' days are living in pretence and great hypocrisy. Many times, they'll command a thing and not even lift it with a finger themselves. There's nothing sacrificial about their lives. Nothing motivational about their lives. Sorry to say that there are many leaders today who are hirelings and not the good shepherds. How do you mark them? Just by gauging their love for the sheep or those they claim to pastor. Instead of feeding the sheep, they fleece it. They see the sheep as a business center to take from than souls to feed and groom into their destinies. For these reasons of withdrawing to sacrifice a bit, Jesus called those hirelings. They are hired hands.

John 10:12, KJV

"But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep."

The hireling cannot risk his life for the sheep. In hard times, the hireling pastor withdraws. When it's over, he can then show up. Anything that'll make him break a sweat, he doesn't embrace or do on behalf of the sheep. Jesus prayed until the thickness of His sweat was described as blood. He broke a sweat both because of the sins of the world laid on Him as our sacrificial lamb and for the anticipation of the death on the cross (Luke 22:44). An hireling will not surrender to the Father's will. Where Jesus said, "okay, let Your will be done", a hireling would flee and escape. His life is always too precious for him. That's why hirelings don't give birth to children. They only abide alone. Why? They're not ready to "die" or fall to the ground as a corn of wheat (John 12:24). Those who'll sow or seed themselves will receive themselves back in other people. The Bible says of Jesus.

John 12:32, KJV

"And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."

Consider David while he was with the sheep in the wilderness. He was a good shepherd. A good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. David said when hosts of wild animals come after his sheep and picks any, he goes after them, smite such and deliver his sheep from them. That's risking one's life. Imagine a young boy with the good shepherd's heart pursuing a bear and a lion (I Samuel 17:34-36). That's sincerely suicidal! No wonder, on the Goliath Project, it was not easy for him to back down. That same heart of a good shepherd who sacrifices or risks his life to protect or get others out of danger was yet speaking. While the likes of Saul and other soldiers fled when they heard Goliath's terrorizing words, He rushed towards that assignment.

What makes a good shepherd is calling. Unless you're called for a life and an assignment there, you cannot be sacrificial with it. You'll always see yourself as a hired hand and not give your best. Jesus was called to die for the sins of the whole world and though He still had to make a choice whether to die for the sins of the whole world or let it alone, He eventually succumbed to carrying the weight. Calling makes you fit for what others flee from. May you have the heart for the task - a heart of sacrifice.

PRAYER: Pray for pastors and every minister in God's vineyard to have a renewed shepherd's heart.

NO MAN TAKES IT FROM ME! - Laying It Down Series 002

John 10:18, KJV

"No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father."

Jesus says, "no man takes it from me." When something is not willingly laid down but forcefully collected, it means, "taken or collected from you."

Those are the two ways through which one could give his life. Either it is laid down or taken from one. When one's life is taken, it means an external cause or force impinges on one's right to defy the sacredness and sanctity of life by taking it. It means the taker of that life didn't seek the consent of the one he took his or her life, neither was approval given. For example, Cain took the life of Abel. Abel didn't willingly lay down his life. He didn't come to the understanding of something he had to voluntarily yield his life up for. However, it was snatched from him. If he were asked, he wouldn't have wanted to die. As a matter of fact, that's why his blood speaks from the ground - for justice because he didn't want to die (Gen.4:10).

Every blood shed that doesn't want to die or necessarily yield up something always cries for revenge! If you've once bullied someone before and blown their nose until blood comes out or taken the virginity of someone by force, it's the same, you're guilty of a blood you've forcefully shed and unless the blood of Jesus that speaks better things than Abel's silences that and you receive forgiveness, you're in danger of serious repercussions (Heb.12:24). Blood is sacred. It must not be forcefully shed.

The idea of "no man takes it from me" comes from murder in simple terms. "To take from one" is to collect forcefully or without approval. Consider pickpockets and thieves, they take from people without their consent or even knowledge. That is, no laying down of what was stolen. This opposes the voluntary work of dying for the sins of the whole world that Jesus did for us as we saw yesterday.

Observe that clause, "no man takes it from me." It is a statement made in violation of rights and consent. When a person is raped and the rapist are taken in or arrested, it's not because they had sex with someone but because it was done without consent/approval of the owner of the body. It would have been a different ball game if that lady agreed to it and offered her body up. That's what makes one person under law a criminal and the other absolved of the same act.

Jesus willingly died for us. He wanted to. Have you seen animals at the slaughter house before? Even they don't want to die and they'll debate that to try to secure their lives. Only that human wisdom would still sleep them to the ground to slit their throat. Even at that, you'd see the cry and the struggle. On occasion, these animals could kick their slaughterer and if care is not taken, bring him down or injure him. We've seen certain animals ready to be slaughtered escape and become wild before. Does this tell you of the scramble to preserve one's life? But then, here's Jesus who rather yields up His life for us. The Bible says in Romans 5:8, "but God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Only God knows if many of the human sacrifices done to appease lands ever were effective? Why? The fellow yielding his life didn't want to give it. It was taken from him.

Even in the garden of Gethsemane when the sins of the whole world was laid on Jesus and He was beginning to have a toast and glimpse of what it means to suffer or die for our sins, He shivered. He also wanted the cup to pass over Him and He tried it. He said, "if only this cup could pass over me" (Matt.26:39). However, He gave in to God's will. He said, "not as I will but as you will." That's the place of giving one's consent and being in agreement or else that sacrifice one wants to give would have been given grudgingly and may not be acceptable to God. God can see hearts!

Let me ask you, have you benefited from the death of Jesus Christ or it doesn't still make any difference to you? Stiff it. Ask for God's forgiveness and call Him into your heart now.

PRAYER: Lord, I acknowledge my sinfulness and Jesus' work of giving his life for me where I wanted to protect mine. Forgive me my sins and come into my heart.

QUANTUM WINDOW CLOSING AT DAY BREAK!

QUANTUM WINDOW CLOSING AT DAY BREAK!

We have to seize opportunities when we can. It has been well said and passed down that we have to strike the iron while it's hot. Some in other words would say "make hay while the sun shine." I can only pray for you that you will carry steps when they still worth it. May the Holy Spirit stir you to such opportunities that are yours to take. He can remind or prompt you of them.

Recently, I did a teaching from Genesis 32:24-28 thereabout to commemorate and celebrate my wife's birthday. However, as I was digging that same story for that first teaching, God granted me light into another matter. That's what we're here to dig. As you know, I'm a treasure hunter - digging the Bible and excavating the likes of things that God would want me say or declare.

As Jacob wrestles with this unnamed man or angel (his wrestling as well is symbolic of praying), that angel after he had disjointed him still didn't achieve the objective for his action. He probably thought Jacob would yield or let him go after then but it was still to no avail. Jacob rather persisted even though he had incurred 'harm.'

Observing the insistence of Jacob, this angel condescended and pleaded with him. He said, "let me go for the day breaks."

Since the Lord enlightened me on this verse, I've been lost in its mining. I had to carry version after version of the Bible to see how each of them would put it. You know, I needed an understanding that is established. They indeed confirmed one another.

Genesis 32:24-26, KJV

"24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me."

"Let me go, for the dawn is breaking!" [NLT]

It means the day hasn't broken absolutely. Some form of darkness might still be on the horizon.

Let us probe together. For that, I'll be asking you questions. Why do you think this angel asked leave of Jacob when he saw that all his effort towards escaping was defeated and he's now stranded? Why? What could it be?

[Take some minutes off! Think of it and resume your reading].

We could infer some multitude of reasons and I'll pick them one after the other.

When that angel says, "let me go because the day breaks or is breaking", it could mean the One who sent him out had given him a deadline to return. Heavenly messengers only do the bidding of the Lord God as He wills. This man (angel) is therefore like one under authority (Matt.8:9). He therefore wanted to be obedient and please his Sender.

"Return before day break" could have been the instruction and the deadline ruling on him. So, when he observed that the day has begun to break, he puts away his ego or pride (if any) and requested for leave of Jacob. He humbled himself and asked for an immediate release.

It could also be that he doesn't want Jacob to see his form distinctly as the day has begun to break or any other person who might want to discover him (like Jacob already unravelled) or gazed on him to an extent. He might have said that to stiff the number of privileged onlooker to Jacob only. This way, he'll be able to keep the matter for which he had appeared and struggled with Jacob a secret. If others (in Jacob's family to start with) had chanced on Jacob still wrestling this angel (though in human form), what he came to do wouldn't have remained a personal disclosure that God only meant for Jacob. At best, an interruption could have happened.

You know, God's dealings with us is personal and individualistic. Except you tell the testimonies of God's dealings with you or people see or smell its aroma, it'll remain secret and unknown.

Let me bring this home. A lot has been said about the spirit world and that of witchcraft. We cannot say all is superstition because we know for sure that there are humans like ourselves who could turn into other beings/creatures, take spiritual transport at a defined season or time but still under obligation to return before day chances on or discloses them.

What you must know is that, the "day" has a naturally created super power/force that God imbues it with to not only reveal things physically but dispel and break the hold and power of certain evils that are casted in it or under its rule. That's why certain activities, spells or incantations could only answer to the call of the night and the moon power. That is, the "luna." It's in this light we have certain Bible passages that talk or infer the ability of the light or of the day as having potency to expose darkness (evil or its doers) directly or indirectly. See:

John 3:21, KJV

"But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."

Ephesians 5:13, KJV

"But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light."

Once the day breaks therefore, what it does is to produce light that exposes whatsoever. It not only does that to physical things but can disrupt certain spiritual moves and equations done in it that aren't appropriate to those hours of the day. Any reference in the Bible to "light" or "what light can do" could be traced back to the breaking light of the day which brings revelation of the physical world to us. You therefore immediately become aware of everything in your environment because of light (the day that has broken). As a matter of fact, all inventions that illuminate our darkness took cues from the daybreak which comes with an inbuilt light for humanity's use.

For these reasons, certain spirit beings (even if they were humans before their changing for spiritual transportation) must return before day break. There are a lot of repercussions not returning before day break could spell for those who are bound by such operational methodology and knows what rule is binding on them yet proceeds to defy it. Part of such repercussions are that they may not be able to achieve spiritual transportation to return at all nor be able to change into their original body (of human) at return. At times, they might even meet with ruins on the way if the day breaks on them. The day that has its own natural potency and chemistry which antagonizes the makeup or rudiments of their spiritual creation can therefore cause their dissolution. Also, if they have achieved a return and made an arrival, some of them might still need to bathe in concoctions or do immediate rituals that only obey the night (according to the elemental/natural forces of our world).

In order not to transgress, they therefore keep to certain hours of the night for operation which corresponds with the demands of their operational realms. When the Bible says in Psalms 91:5-6 that, "5 thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by NIGHT; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in DARKNESS; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday", it was at all not a joke. Those verses are not relics of the scriptures. There are things that are specifically and intentionally fashioned both during the day and the night. In the occult, a higher level of flowering is achieved in the night however. In the occult, operation by night and at certain designated times is usually a priority as it enables a lot and gives thorough activeness in conjuring realms of certain principalities or accessing some portals. In the occult, certain realms or windows are accessed or easy to command during designated periods of the night. That's why the occult traffic during those hours. That's when their market sells the most!

For a Christian however, you can pray to God anytime of the day. He's both the God of the night as He's the God of the day. As a matter of fact, night is as day to Him (Psalm 139:12). He doesn't answer prayers more in the middle of the night than during the day, vice versa. If you violate His will on prayer/praying, it doesn't matter when you call on Him, you may not have desired feedbacks.

"Not being afraid of the TERROR by NIGHT...NOR of the PESTILENCE that walketh in DARKNESS" reveals that the night 'transports' its own special evils and the occult hasn't seen any better leverage than the night and certain times or hours of the night. If you've ever been instructed by someone to make certain prayers using certain parts of the Bible at some specific hours of the night only, that may be a manifestation of occultism, cheer ignorance or infantism in Christ manifesting. It becomes more unfortunate when you have to naked yourself to pray or go for a bathe. Jesus didn't teach the disciples or all of us this way (Lk.11:2-4). Meanwhile, we thank our God who's not asleep lest it becomes to us like it was for the prophets of Ba'al.

I Kings 18:27, KJV

"And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked."

Our own God isn't like this. Connection is strong and available every 24 hours. Whenever we call on Him (even in stringent emergencies), He answers. He has not asked us to leverage on certain hours of the night or day to reach Him. He could be discovered anytime. You don't need to tune or lock into Him only when the sun is hottest to have His hearing. He has not even instructed us to face the Middle East or a particular angle where Jerusalem is in order to have answered prayers. With the right relationship with Him and observance of His will on prayer, His line and frequency always goes and is thick to connect to any time any day. Yet, you can reach Him from anywhere. Jonah called unto Him from the belly of the fish in the deep while Elijah did from Mount Carmel. Frequencies don't affect our God - either high or low! Neither are seasons - either night or day. He's God all by Himself. He doesn't need to necessarily connect to nature or elemental forces to be powerful. He's the POWER! I AM THAT I AM!

So, when this angel pleaded, "let me go for the day break", you could see his agitation to escape an impending danger or consequence. You could hear the shivering voice of someone who knew the consequences of being greeted by the day. He was actually pleading with Jacob when he said, "let me go because the day is breaking."

It means this angel has been schooled of consequences. So, he sought to escape it. For that reason, he sought to make an escape and hurry back before the day eventually breaks and the day sheds light or brings the many disturbances, distractions and interruptions that won't allow for a deal to be well carried out between the duo (Himself and Jacob).

According to Cambridge Bible for Schools and Colleges which I later consulted, I saw this affirmed when it says of this revelation I've been sharing this way.

"[26 the day breaketh] - A survival of the old belief that unearthly visitants of the night must be gone before daybreak."

Mathew Poole's commentary has this to say:

"The day breaketh, and I am not willing that there should be any spectators or witnesses of these things."

If you read the verses that followed, you'll see that Jacob immediately requested to be blessed before he (the pleading angel slips away). As a matter of fact, after that angel tendered his request to Jacob, all other businesses and deals they did after then were done in a rush. Let's see.

Genesis 32:26-32

"26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved."

Have you seen that? It was so hasty that what followed was "a call and response interaction" between the two. That was because even Jacob could read his urgency to return. We can also say that's why (this visiting angel) didn't have the luxury of time to as well introduce himself to Jacob though we know this could be the habit of angels who have travelled incognito (Judges 13:17-18).

Brethren, the quantum window is not opened forever. It often opens and closes but return must have been made before its closure. You must know how long you're given to tarry and when to withdraw. Our time has been measured and scooped to us by God! You must apply your heart to wisdom and number your days. You must remember often that we are pilgrims on earth and if we are, we shall return. If you die today without having put your faith in Jesus Christ by "being born again", your own quantum window could be said to have successfully closed. Why?

Hebrews 9:27, KJV

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment."

Ecclesiastes 9:10, KJV

"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest."

This is where you can repent or still do any sort of activity. Once you cross- border, you're gone or lost forever (if without Christ).

This is therefore a great opportunity not to miss. You can speak to God, the Father of Jesus Christ to forgive your sins now. Then, tell Him to come and live in your heart. That simple believing and confession is a sure method of passing from death to life. That's how to secure eternal life (Rom.10:9-10).

But beyond that, what are the deadlines on you? What are the quantum windows that only stay until.. ? You have to step into them now, else it is shut on your face.

I'm seeing a transport system, ready and awaiting someone to step into it. That imagery is key to your becoming the things you know you should become. It'll open you to a world and put your feet on a path that leads to greatness. What's this window that tarries while it may? Decipher it and follow it. The wise men deciphered Jesus' natal star and followed it. It led them until it alighted on the house Jesus was (Matthew 2:9). Didn't the Bible say, "you'll hear a word behind you telling you, this is the way, walk you in it? (Isa.30:21).

Paul in a midnight vision after many attempts saw a man of Macedonia calling him over to come and help them. The Bible says concerning them, "and at once, we resolved to go...(Acts 16:9-10).

This is prompt obedience that's critical to the new world that God has just opened and given to them. Fishes (in souls of men) await them to rake in. Delaying is dangerous! It is now! The urgency in that brings Jesus' words spoken to Peter to me afresh. "Launch into the deep and let down your nets for a draught" (Lk. 5:4).

When Jesus commanded that, He intended that Peter would obey promptly. That was because Jesus had seen a harvest of fishes gather for him. Like manna which has a deadline to its gathering, if Peter delays and refuses to let down his nets, the gathered shoal of fishes would soon disperse. Peter couldn't have come the next day and met the fishes still gathered, waiting where they were at the time Jesus sensed provision has been made ready for him.

There's an urgency to this thing. It is, "rise, kill and eat" (Acts 10:13)! Don't transgress the immediacy attached to these words.

Move now! The quantum window closes at day break! It closes soon. Hear the voice, "quantum window closes at three" and here goes the countdown - 3, 2, 1, 0!

Quickly run and take shelter in Jesus (John 3:16, Prov. 18:10).

Quantum window!!!

LAYING IT DOWN - Laying It Down Series 001

John 10:15, KJV

"As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep."

Let us talk about laying down. When Jesus said, "He laid down His life" here, what would you say He intended. He meant He gave up His life. As in, He willingly yielded it up and died to redeem humanity and as many who are saved from the number of the human populace today.

Meanwhile, I'll like to draw your attention to the use of words as it concerns, "laying down." The idea of "laying down" reveals willingness or voluntariness on the part of the one doing the laying down. Have you heard of induced labour before? They often do resort to that when labour is not coming naturally. So, we can call such a type of labour "forced labour." It wouldn't have come unless it is caused or precipitated. You have to demand that it happens before it happens. That's not what laying down means. When you lay down, it's by your consent, agreement and wise decision. You're at all not coerced or forced. You rather see the need to give your life up. Something might have been shared with you as the need to yield your life up. Not arguing with that but rather seeing reasons and doing so is what qualifies you to be regarded as having yielded your life up.

John 10:17-18, KJV

"17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father."

Did you hear what Jesus said? He said, "no man takes it of me but I lay it down of myself." This verse just affirmed my explanation till now. Let me cite another example. I know you must have seen people who reluctantly gave something up. Listen to their defiant response later on. You'll hear them say something like, "I just had to give it up; it actually didn't come from my heart." That is not yielding up. Though it was given; it was never intended to be. And as far as we're concerned as Christians, it's the position of your heart God wants to see.

That's why many of you are still immature because in all the striving and struggling of the Holy Ghost with you in order to break you or collect something from you, you really never yielded up or laid down that thing. It was never from your heart. You know how till now the Holy Spirit has not been able to convert you from keeping malice with that fellow. You'll rather let her alone. Your words are, "I don't want to have more problems. So, I'll just let him be." That's a sign of a lurking unforgiveness, bitterness and reluctance in your heart. However, God's Spirit won't strive for you forever.

Genesis 6:3, KJV

"And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh..."

God is calling us to get where we are not forced before we release things. We must be like Jesus who said, "I voluntarily yielded it up. Not that I was forced to. It is mine to yield up and take up again."

Receive such grace.

PRAYER: Lord, I lay my life down for your use and demands. Not grudgingly but willingly.

ENTERING THE CHEAT MODE THROUGH THE CHEAT CODE! - How To Enter Series 002

Psalms 100:4, KJV

"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name."

I said in my last teaching that, "entering cannot be sharp and abrupt. There's an order or process to it". We really need to see that. The curtain needs to be drawn for us to have insight and in-road into what is hidden till now from our faces.

One time, something of worth that was ours was stolen. I was alarmed to it and of course I began to pray for its restoration as soon as possible. I prayed for a repentant heart for the person and also assigned a stirring angel to the fellow or fellows as the case may be. I knew without the conviction of the person, nothing would happen.

So, as I was bringing the matter to God the second day, I was overwhelmed by the sorrow at hand and consumed by the zeal to tell God my sorrows. I therefore left thanksgiving and praise but rather stepped into decrees and declarations. Just then, I experienced a restraint in my spirit. It was sharp. It's like a pull or bridle on a horse. It held me and called me back to the observance of these verses under our view.

You can be carried away by what is not into defying the order or process God Himself recognizes and put solidly on ground for us to follow. When I experienced that, I knew what God was calling me to was to go back to thanksgiving and enter His presence appropriately even in praise. So, I went back to observe the process.

What you must know is that God's standard stands sure over matters. He has said some things over certain matters and it'll be good if you're found in observance of them.

One of them is what we'll be looking into now. The Bible says, "enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise..."

God is teaching us process and structure by having a verse like this written here. You can't just enter anyhow. You can't enter by how you think things should be structured. To enter and have access, you have to enter through the gates with thanksgiving to start with. That's when you're not breaking the order of things.

We all know what the gate is. It is the entrance to a building. Another way, it could mean "the door". It still signifies "access". For you to have access, the echo you must enter with is thanksgiving. As you do this and proceed in prayer, you can then change into praise because you have achieved some smooth mobility in the spirit and you've now progressed towards the court. What's the court? The court is where the King is seated. We can also call it the royal court. For you to move, to stir and appease yourself to the king, it has to be by praise. We all know what praise or eulogy of someone does. It makes them want to act. It'll put them in a state of willingness to do even the unexpected or the unthinkable for you. Thanksgiving is our expression of gratitude to God for all that He has done. Praise is our expression of approval or admiration for God Himself.

When you leave this process and do away with this order because of sorrow or distraction, you're not doing well. How will your prayers have wings in the midst of having observed other prayer prerequisites? So in entering, enter by putting these two in place. If it's access to the king or royal court you're looking for, you just received one amidst the keys to gain access. That verse says, "enter into his gates (outer court) with thanksgiving and into his courts (inner chambers where He actually resides) with praise: be thankful unto him and bless his name." When our lips confess all He has afore done in the midst of acknowledging who He is, we carefully set ourselves up for more. We definitely make a show of being grateful and we present ourselves to Him as ready for more. Observe this!

PRAYER: Bow in thanksgiving and rendering of praise to God. Thank Him and bless His name.

ENTERING THE CHEAT MODE BY LEVERAGING THE CHEAT CODE! - How To Enter Series 001

Psalms 100:4, KJV

"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name."

God wants us to have access. He wants us to have entrance. He doesn't want the door to be slammed at our faces continually. He doesn't want denial to be for long.

The Bible says, "weeping may tarry for a night but joy comes in the morning".

What the Holy Spirit wants us to know is that "joy that comes in the morning" has to be caused or precipitated by certain acts. Joy won't just come naturally when you're in idleness. You have to fight for your joy to come. You have to contest for the season of weeping to end over your life. If joy is given freely, there won't be human problems and challenges. Those who have joy nly have learnt how to make it last.

If you don't know, there are two seasons in that Bible verse. One that ends is what opportune the other to commence. If "weeping" that's usually known for its tarriness or late extension into the night of one's life is not stiffed soon or brought to an end, a new chapter of freshness where joy is experienced cannot come let alone be tasted.

The accuser of the brethren, the serpent, our adversary doesn't mind you experiencing negativity for long. Reading through the Bible, you can see many people with situations that lasted for long. It was changed often times through God's act of mercy and through personal determination of individuals. The woman with the issue of blood said, "if I may but touch the helm of His garment, I shall be healed" (Matt.9:21). Blind Bartimaeus cried for help when he knew Jesus was passing by. Though they shut him up, he rather cried the more (Matt.10:46-48). Yet, there's the lame man by the pool of Bethesda who Jesus had to have mercy on because he had been there for long (John 5). With personal determination from you, God's willingness and His act of mercy, you shall stiff your weeping and experience a celebration.

So, in days to come, we shall begin to understand how to ascend to God and in what style, manner or method we have to make an entering.

Entering cannot just be sharp or abrupt. There's an order and we shall see in days to come. Follow us still!

May I say if there's one there who has been crying, weeping and oozing sorrow for this while, time has come for the Lord to stiff, hold and stanch all those flowings you have known. I pray, let judgement come upon the sources of your problems. Through this teaching, you're encountering Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord just like that woman with the issue of blood experienced. On that note, today is the day of salvation (deliverance). Every spring oozing evil is shut down. Let a window of a new season and a new chapter be opened over you now!

PRAYER/CONFESSION: I receive and believe as God's handmade.
