AS THE EXODUS SHIP NEARS - At Old Age Series 002

Read Ecclesiastes 12

Ecclesiastes 12:7, KJV

"Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it".

I pray for you today that you'll be led and be guided to where food has been made ready for you. I'm not talking of physical food but something that's spiritual that God seeks to connect you with or ensure you gather which if you miss might result in a permanent shortage or even damage of your destiny. There are places we must be at particular times. Where the carcass is, there the vultures will be. How did they strike such accuracy? These are ordinary birds and if we'll humour them, we'll call them scavengers or birds of carrions but they have perception. They could smell their provision and by such seek to have an immediate connection with it. I pray for you, receive special awareness. Be sensitized. Let the spirit that discerns times and knows what one must do come on you. Stumble into where it is happening even if it'll be unintentionally. Be driven to a particular place of destiny. Have destiny encounters and meet with those who will assist your destiny and impart you with God's portion on them (as ordained by God) for ministry, family and career wise. 

He lives in North Germany where his parents are. He had lived in Hamburg before transition to Frankfurt as well. He had just completed his studies and is now returning back to Germany. They took trains in those days and not flight. His train however arrived around early. This avails him a lot of time at hand. Having little coins left, he decided to go for sight seeing around London. So, he went from bus to bus not even knowing where the buses were going. He was just doing bus hoping. He was criss-crossing the whole time. 

Then, he thought of the need to walk and stretch himself. So, he began to trek for the sake of exercise. As he walks into the residential area, he passed by a residential building with a name plate reading "George Jeffreys". 

"I know of a man called George Jeffreys. He's the one who brought the gospel of signs and wonders to UK. Could he be living here?" No, he concluded. He was just 21 at this time. His mind told him, "but this is London, there must be many Jeffreys and tens of thousands of George alike". But a voice told him, "you've got a lot of time to kill. Why don't you check?" So, he rang the door bell and a woman came out. He asked if it was Jeffreys' house. She said, "yes". "The same Jeffreys God used to bring the gospel of healing to Britain? May I see him?" "No" was the answer! However, he heard a deep voice from inside saying, "let him come in". So, he did. He didn't even know the man was still alive. So, he began to introduce himself. "I am Reinhard Bonnke. I am called to preach the gospel in Africa. I just finished Bible College..." As he does this, Jeffreys fell on his own knees and then dragged him down also. He puts his hand on him and blessed him repeatedly. The glory of God filled the house. After about thirty minutes, he staggers out of that place trying to find the bus stop. 

So, he began to question how it was possible to have stumbled on a man he does not know was still alive. He got into a night train and went back home to Germany. The dad picked him up at the train station and said to him, "Reinhard, I just heard in the news that George Jeffreys is dead". Bonnke replied, "it can't be. I still met him yesterday". It was then Bonnke knew that he had gotten a mantle and that the Holy Spirit had guided him to that place. There's a place we must be, men we must meet and impartation we must partake of. Thank God Bonnke cooperated and moved every inch of the way as he was being prompted. You see, you don't have to know the details before you obey. If you're waiting for that, that'll be bribing and nothing will be miraculous or glorious in that at day's end. It is what the Lord does that can only be marvellous in our sight. This experience of a man's steps being ordered to meet another is. It leaves me with the import that there's a mighty hand behind the global scenes and world map that moves us like chess pieces for the fulfilment of His own grand will. Imagine how a man who God has marked for use in his own generation met another and got connected to a flow and grace that has been before him. See how God impart his fullness by crossing Bonnke's paths with Jeffreys. The most shocking is that Jeffreys was slated to leave the earth soonest. His exodus ship nears arrival but Jeffreys must also pass the baton. God answered two persons' prayers: Jeffrey's and Bonnke. It's the intention of God that there'll be a safe transfer of graces so that ministration might not end with the former minister. And I can witness, it's the joy of fathers to release as it's the joy of sons to catch. Did the Bible not say in Titus 2:3-4 that, "the aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children".

If you look at that instruction, you'll see God is concerned about flows from those who have been doing it to those who will do it. We have the aged women and the young women. This is how continuity is achieved in every generation. Some are newbies of their vocations and they have not learnt God very much nor how to walk with Him. Some of them in ministry or business might even lack the major ingredient needed to succeed but by connecting, such ingredient is given and received. Training changes lives and prepares us for destiny just as impartation hastens and enables us to be able to discharge in the same effect those before had have.

Thank God Reinhard Bonnke didn't miss this preparation of heaven for him. Thank God the food of heaven was not wasted. They baked it for him and at the time he should break this bread and eat, he ate. It is this impartation amidst other renewal and refreshing he ran with until he also took his own exodus ship out of the earth. All of us will have our opportunities. Thank God he was on time. Thank God He came in when he should. Do you know one thing I have observed? There's no one God has a great future for in a field or vocation that God won't introduce or bring to the presence of fathers of such field. One way or the other, they'll just have open doors to meet them (even when it's not intentionally arranged). What others that God has not earmarked for destiny in that field are looking for earnestly, God will fling it open to them by divine providence. Before the exodus ship leaves, what are the ingredients you should collect from those God has given it to? What is the impartation that must take place? God is seeking to bring you into alignment. Don't be disaligned. I tell you, it is the joy of fathers to give if there's ever a curious child to receive. 

PRAYER: Lord, I throw myself at You. Carry me and lead me on until I arrive at junctures of destiny meet. Ordain my path before me.

BUT IT'S NOT OVER

II Timothy 1:6, KJV  

"Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands".

"Once a soldier is always a soldier", is what I said and used as a short admonishment on a platform for one of our past excos with whom I served. It's not that she backslided. That's not our prayer for anyone. But I said that to put her in remembrance of God's grace on her. Many are likely to forget how God started with them and so despise their little days of beginning instead of stretching it further. The Bible recorded how Samson in his beginning began to be stirred by the Spirit of the Lord. It began somewhere in Mahaneh-dan, which is located between the towns of Zorah and Eshtaol (Judges 13:25). Also, Paul had to put Timothy in remembrance of what he had received in the very beginning.

II Timothy 1:6, KJV  

"Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands".

When do you think he received the gift being spoken of here? In his beginning. Not at the time this was coming from Paul to him. Never! He had already received. So, I just found myself saying that under the anointing. After saying that, I found the anointing hit me and stirring a teaching in me. So, I set pen to paper. 

One thing that you must not let die is the former things in your life which you have received from God or started this spiritual journey with. Spiritual gifts, calling and God's doing with which He started in your life should not decrease but daily and often seek expression and glow in flying colours. 

Jesus speaking to one of the seven churches says, "4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent" (Revelation 2:4-5, KJV). 

Look at what Jesus said to this church. That it has left its first love. Let me ask you, especially those who used to be something on campus and at their very beginning if you're still that thing or now still continues and grows in the spirit of that thing. If not, you have left your first love. But did you hear what the Lord said there? "That he should remember where he has fallen and repent."

Whenever you have a thing like that said about you, God is trying to call you into account of your life and He wants you to go back in retrospect to search and locate what the point of entry is in your life when you begin to leak God's investment, grace and so begin to diminish in content - spirit and anointing. You must remember where you have fallen. Repent and do your first works. Not doing so is very consequential. You must not despise this call of God to grace, replenishment and restoration. Currently, God is coming for people who have been wasted. Looking at them, they are the carcasses of themselves. They look like a desolate or wasted land. They no longer resemble who they were or what they started with in those former days. As a matter of fact, the story they now tell and what they have to boast is just the old wine of those old days. God is saying, strengthen what's left!" Something is still left. Once a soldier is always a soldier. That's our saying on campus and it's indeed true. Those of you God has enlisted long time ago into His army but who have gone back, God is saying I have not withdrawn that call on you. It is still there. The calling and gifts of God are without repentance (Rom.11:29). Kick-start in the things of God again. Let the Holy Spirit hook you up to a divine assignment and you shall see those buried, latent and hurt virtues rise and speak great things. At the scent of water, it shall bud up again. So says the Bible (Job 14:9). 

I am sensing, there are those who are weak, too weak to stand up on their own which is why God has brought this grace to help them stand and regain their stamina by first finding their foot in the things of God. The grace to take them by the hands and lift them up from where Satan, sin and all sorts of disobedience have reduced them to a crumb of bread is what God has brought now. If especially you're a victim of witchcraft but used to be something before, God is concerned about your restoration also.

Do you know the passage of the Bible that occurs to my mind? It's the images of Peter and John at the beautiful gate. It is written that they took him by the hand and lifted him up. Who?

"2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; 

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.  

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.  

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God." 

Immediately, there's a testimony that his feet and ankle bones received strength but that's because he was aided or assisted by a supernatural deposit. You must know that the touch of Peter helped established a contact and so he received the anointing to help him over that particular deficient area of his life. You're receiving such help but supernaturally now in JESUS' name. You, you'll be aided to rise, stand up and walk in your grace, office and anointing again. You shall see visions like those days again. Your flow is flowing again. 

Currently, strength is aiding you. I say, stand up. Receive Spirit's aid. Let strength rush to your area of weakness and superiorly superimpose itself over your weakness. Your weakness shall no longer backstab you because today, God is coming to lift you from that place you are dropped, forgotten and have been relegated to - cringing like a beggar though you're a spiritual warlord. I say, rise. I call you forth from the dead. Whereever your prince has been walking on foot, I declare, "be reinstated." God's supernatural power is doing it. What I hear is that, "the zeal of the Lord God of hosts is doing it" (Isa.9:7). It is now and not tomorrow. Let your graves open. Fly out of every prison. Let your shackles be broken. Be collected from the holes and every dry wells. Receive a new donation of strength to run and serve with. Be glad and jubilant like that man. Run and not be weary. Mount up with wings like an eagle. Go in the strength of today's ministration and fulfill your destiny by going full length like Elijah went in the strength of those meals all the way to Mount Horeb, the mount of God. So shall it be. It's the hands of the Lord that has caused it. Receive your great revival, the opening of your graves, your setting on your feet a great army from nothingness and the spoil of the enemy. Never forget but always be put in remembrance.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for the restoration.

AND NONE SAYS "RESTORE!"

Isaiah 42:22, KJV

"22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore".

Do you think you can do it? No, not so. You can't do it because you are not the one called, equipped and sent. So, you can't have faith for what was not communicated to you. In this way, having a doubtful conscience is enough to reprimand you from doing it. 

That place says, "and none says restore". Not that they liked it that way; not that they don't want a change but none has been empowered to enforce a change. Indeed, what you're not empowered for, you can't do. You just can't do it even if you have a wish or willingness to do it. God knows this and so He anoints men that they might do only one thing, shout "restore."

Who couldn't have gone to Egypt to bring Israel out? Remember, no prophecy slated Moses as the would be deliverer until he appears. Why is it that Aaron or any of those elders in Egypt didn't rise to deliver themselves? You see, they just can't. Today, you must know how far you can go and how farther you can't. In your might and power, without the Spirit, you can't deliver or break the shackles of the oppressed. Never will you be able to cry, "restore". If you cry it, it would be an ordinary cry without loosing bonds. Then, one may wonder, why? That'll be because you're not the anointed or that sent deliverer. The Bible says, "anointing breaks the yoke (Isa.10:27). If that be, we have the anointed. The man or woman on whom the Spirit upon is for God's accomplishment towards meeting people's diverse needs. If you have not been sent to say restore, you'll become a mockery. You'll become Moses who saw what's wrong and sought to correct it. So, he kills an Egyptian in favour of an Israelite. He thought he could cause salvation by his own power. However, the wrath of man doesn't work the righteousness of God. That you've seen what's wrong doesn't give you go ahead to challenge it (without power) even though you have the mouth to speak. Ask yourself, "do I have the power?" Or else, you'll flee when the power you have confronted confronts you. You'll just be like Moses - a man who has seen a field of need but who's severely handicapped effecting change or saying restore because he lacks the power back up. He therefore flees Egypt (Exo.2:15). The mark that you have not been sent, bearing God's seal is revealed in this sole question asked Moses. 

Exodus 2:14, KJV

"And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known".

You see, your attempt to do good will be misconceived even by those who needs that ministration. They'll just seem to be okay with where they are. They won't see you for who you are  - their deliverer. Rather, you'll be rejected. You see, it's not a minister that makes himself acceptable wherever he goes. The anointing on him enforces acceptance. Before somebody asks you to your embarrassment, "who makes you a judge or leader over us", settle the question of being sent. Those without the seal can't get the work done even if they attempt. 

That place gives a description of those who needs urgent help. As in, the ambulance of God must reach them soon for deliverance if it won't be late for them   forever. They are a people "robbed", "spoiled", "snared in holes", "hid in prison houses", "for a prey" and "for a spoil." They're not different from those in the region and shadow of death that great light shun on (Matt.4:16). Their description is very sympathetic. They have been taken as prisoners of Satan, the captor. They are trapped in holes where effort to escape leads to more complicated problems. What is theirs have been sucked out of them? They are just left empty handed. Unfortunately for these people, no one is sent to them. No one has been found for them. That place says, "despite being for a prey", "none delivers them". Also, despite being for "a spoil", "none says restore". That's the command God expects to go over them. If you don't know, you wouldn't understand that God is subtly looking for a compliance officer. One who will enforce what He has said about those people so that they can have their long time freedom. He's only seeking a fellow to cry with Him, "restore" or proclaim that which He has ordained for their deliverance. Alas, none says restore because none was found for it. You may wonder, why can't anyone deliver and another just decree "restore". I've earlier on stated the reason. Even though any sympathizes these people's conditions a thousand times, they'd be incapacitated to turn it around for them. They know this themselves and so withhold their feet from running a race they are not sent. 

However, amidst this contrary, amidst this scarcity of deliverers and those authorised to say, "restore", God has found me and has sent me not to say any other thing but to cry over you in the spirit, "RESTORE". Where are you in the prison, behind a cage of bars and frustration? I order your deliverance. Where have you been spoiled and looted, I cry, "restore". This morning is the judgement of any power exercising illegal rights over you. You're a son and daughter of Abraham and God has a welfare plan for you. Therefore, I declare your deliverance (as God declares) and calls you into your large place (Psalms 18:19). So be it!

PRAYER: Father, anoint me as a deliverer and restorer of people. I effect the believer's and anointed's authorities. I put the sword in the heart of the earth crying, "deliverance" and "restoration".
