CONNECTION TO A HOTSPOT: SUSTENANCE FOR MANY DAYS!
Brethren,
Let your prayer be, "Lord, hook me up with the source that never runs dry."
When you are, when others are complaining of want, you'll have. In famine, you'll feed.
That reminds me of one fable we were told in Oral Literature while I was growing up.
In that story, there was a famine on earth but there was food in heaven. However, it's only the dog who knows the way to heaven. As such, he takes his mother and family to heaven where there's provision that never runs dry but flows continuously.
Pray and say, "God, hook me up to the person, organization, job etc" that'll be the means of supplying my uninterrupted livelihood that'll ensure my continuity.
Last year, I prayed for an auxiliary job and God gave me one. Believe it, that auxiliary job (that I run side by side with my primary job) has been a blessing.
It has ensured my continuity. That auxiliary job was the kind that some people are looking for on a full term basis but I got it on per term. I only run it in the evening.
A passage of the Bible is coming to me. When God sent Elijah to Brook Cherith, it was to ensure his survival and continuity. The same was God's intention when God sent him to the widow of Zarephath.
But more importantly is the blessing that the woman of Zarephath benefited because she was timely connected to Elijah. Over time, we blow the fact that Elijah was provided for but what about this woman whose confession was, "as the Lord your God lives, I have nothing baked, only a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a jug. And now I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it and die" (I Kings 17:12).
Imagine her confession! She has gotten to her wit's end and was even preparing her mind for death. But just then, intervention steps in. Heavenly aid rushed in. You too, you won't commit suicide. You will never be broken. You might have confessed the end but you'll never experience it.
I pray, "may aid (God's own intervention and heavenly commanded resources) step in!"
When that happened, what follows?
"And she went and did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days" (I Kings 17:15, KJV).
I'm hearing, "...many days!" "Sustenance for many days!"
You too, you and your household will eat for many days.
There'll be continuity for many days where you have thought, "all shall come to an end now."
As I'm receiving explanation, some of you need this kind of help. You need something that'll ensure your survival and continuity for many days. Something that can bring 'enough' into your life and ensure you trek the distance before you without collapsing. Receive such a miracle! Be connected to such a hotspot.
Such hotspot job, connection or organization that you'll join (even when you cannot yet anticipate all that's coming for which God has connected you to such), let it come your way.
Be sensitized to such. Respond to such when others see no reason to put in for such a job.
Be hooked up! Let something hook your spirit up that this is that opportunity (Elijah) and that you should open your door to it/him/her in agreement.
"Many days" is the Word! It's the declaration. You and your household will eat for many days! It means, "you'll continue many days."
Continue therefore!!!
