GRATITUDE OVER WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN DESPISED

THANK GOD FOR HIS VISITATION

I really thank God for His visitation. I just have so many things to say. Meanwhile, there are moments when even if you have a thing to say, other string-tight commitment won't allow. At times, there won't be enough stirring at all. A reminder that we're but humans while Christ in us is our hope of glory.

So, for being privileged to write or communicate God's burden to the body of Christ; in humble adoration, I say, glory to God.

People of God, don't take simple things for granted o. That includes being able to feed and feed properly. If after eating doughnut; chin-chin and lollypop follows, you should know that's a miracle God keeps repeating for you on daily basis. If your mouth never dries even if it's because you don't have the demands of ministers to fast, still thank God. Even fasting isn't easy. That's why the Bible describes it as an affliction.

If when you speak, you have ready listeners, you should thank God for them. It is not good when one is talking and nobody shows interest. But when you speak and people are relating, reacting, connecting, associating, intimating and are imitating, you ought to say, 'O God, what have you wrath?"

I told my beloved one day. I said "how good it would be settling down somewhere where one would just go out for crusades and some ministrations, then come back home to instruct the multitude of eager disciples that are learning Christ of one and dies hard to receive one back. You'll know there's no joy in hoarding blessings then. You only dig to the bottom when you have inquisitive spiritual children. The same happens in the classroom setting. Students can be short-changed of their portion from a teacher - a bank of knowledge if they don't ask questions or know how to relate with him. Other way, the best of the teacher may not be given if there are no new challenges to call it forth also.

What you must know especially if you're a minister or even an upcoming is that there's a stage of growth you can attain where giving out will be naturally birthed or triggered in you. Why? You've been a good follower and have been equipped enough while in your season of 'make-me.' Now, maturity has brought you to a place where you even seek platforms to minister, impart gifts like Paul on others or seek doers you can share burdens and revelations with. Let time and patience bear its effects on you. Don't step into leadership or begin to offer a ministry if you have not been internally or consciously brought to recognize you are now in such season to dispense. When such time comes, naturally, you'll feel too burdened and pressed to discharge. You'll be like a mother at the labour room. Her only focus is to give birth.

Do you know that if people makes demands on an anointed especially to hear him; do you know that teaching will be triggered? Often in Jesus ministry, the trigger to teach or climb the mountain for such happened when He saw the crowd. You'll be hearing things like "as the multitude press on Him.. [Matthew 5:1-2, Luke 5:1-3]. Kai!

There's something that calls your best out when you receive an inner feedback and communication that some people yearns for you and what God has given you for them. What God has given any minister isn't for him. That's why he can't minister to himself. That's why he must also follow some other ministers and learn to receive by faith from them also. I tell you people of God, no one is an absolute authority anywhere.

The joy of communicating and being received is what births mighty works. All ministers reading this should pay special attention to these words. Have you not read that Jesus couldn't do any mighty works because He was not accepted? Look at what unbelief in a minister could cause [Matthew 13:54-58, Mark 6:2-6].

However, where there's acceptance, what always happen? ... mighty works in strong doctrine/teaching, healing, signs and wonders will proceed. God can recognize hunger when people have one. It is not the anointed that gauge what each in a congregation gets from God. They do. As an anointed teaches, you determine how much of the force of the Spirit or energy would flow to you and for your need.

Rejection can be felt. You don't have to throw stones at the one you're rejecting. In same manner,  acceptance spurs you and urges you on and on. Kaimona!

So, I won't take it for granted. I preached a message one day somewhere and somebody under the ministration met me afterwards and told me God gave him this same message sometimes ago but till then, he couldn't preach it. So, why not thank God!

So, I dedicate this short teaching to all the passionate enduring readers and followers of us as we follow Christ. Thanks for bearing with my long teachings.  I want to salute you for always reading our spirit-meat as Abba oils us. May it not stop blessing you.

As you pray for the minister the more, God can use him more mightily. So, always remember him. I'll say, "you're beloved and verily cherished."

You won't lose your place. Amidst the great and the strong, God will give you a place.

Namaste!

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - 29/07/2021

THURSDAY - 29TH JULY, 2021

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - Olusola ADEJUMO

THE MERCY OF GOD

Read Luke 22:39-43

I Corinthians 10:13, KJV

"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

It is the mercy of God that measures to us what we can each carry. Even in gifting, He gives to us according to our abilities. Do you know gift can kill? The commitment of God if given at a high level that is not pedaled can wear any out and consequently be to his detriment. That's why it's better to grow in your office, grace or anointing because by reason of time, you'll learn how to put it under. But if 80% out of the 100% of oil you'll one day carry should fall on you like that, if pride do not kill you or other perils of the anointed, the demands of the anointing itself will send you home by either wearing out your mortal body or drawing you to minister until it tells on your health.

That's one of the reasons God rather allocates to us in measures or droplets. It's God's wisdom but more importantly, that instance shows His mercy.

If you have a child that you don't want to send to his early grave, will you not measure to him tasks that you believe he should be able to discharge according to his capability or age? Do you task him and make demands on him like you would do for yourself?

When you're tempted, God is there watching. He does one thing. He will never, never and never allow you to be tempted until you're overwhelmed or say, 'enough is enough' and then proceed into prostitution, robbery or even commit suicide.

There's a thing that God always do that interests me. He'll dig a hole. He'll create a space of mercy. He'll make a demand for that thing not to be overstretched so that you won't fall under that weight and get crushed. Many of us have experienced situations that almost broke us before. While we were at the bank or edge of being broken where you could hear groaning and sweat as thick as blood rolling down from us, God orders that situation to a halt. Then, it stops and like a man who's been under torture or training in a military camp, we rise in gratitude from that experience. Meanwhile, we have gathered strength for another day. That space of relieve doesn't mean a stop forever. More will still come. That's why we're assured of redemption. If we were pressed yesterday but survived, tomorrow won't be an exemption. That's why that place says God is faithful. You can always count on His appearance for salvation or deliverance even when it seems you'll be broken and totally shattered now. David while giving assurance to Saul said, "the God that delivered me out of the paws of the lion and the bear will deliver me out of this uncircumcised Philistines [I Samuel 17:37]." That's God's faithfulness he was referencing. He knows that enough that God is faithful and would provide a way of escape.

Look, in all, God is indeed faithful. He will create a way of escape for you from that situation. Let patience have its time. Afterwards, you'll raise gratitude to Him. As I'm observing, what you're currently passing through can't kill you. You'll be kept and preserved. Why? The Lord still has need of you. Whatsoever the Lord has need of, it is such He preserves from being violated even though stretched. That's how He preserved that colt for Jesus use. It was a brand new colt that no one has never ridden on. Why? Because one day, it will serve purpose. Look, receive escape and your relieve now.

PRAYER: God of escape, my life is in your hands for escape. Repeat Your being faithful at my temptation and nearing breaking point.

PATRIOTISM & LOYALTY TO FATHERLAND

HOW TO BE PATRIOTIC AND LOYAL TO FATHERLAND - Part 1

Let me start by saying, pastors must be alive to their responsibilities. Many people have not been taught proper behaviour from their homes or where they are coming from. This thing is first of all the work God crafted for parents in the home setting. However, if such people can't receive the communication of such ministration from parents, God in His infinite mercy do not want them escape it. So, He'll bring them to a church or a father who has the content, discipline, strength and comfort of the calling to instill it in them. Any child that won't say, "yours is too much" to parents will always turn out to be different. When they number him amidst multitude, they will quickly see 'quality' which differs from quantity.

Let the righteous correct me and it will be oil of excellence on my head hasn't changed.

Psalms 141:5, KJV

"Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities."

IF you will submit and be rebuked, you won't know when by the many corrections and adjustments made so far in your life when you'll begin to radiate and manifest excellence. Amidst congregation or community of men, even people from afar will testify of a thing in you that makes you different from others. That's the thing observed in the four Hebrew boys that made them to be esteemed as having a different life in all their encounters. Why? The amount of Judaism that has been imparted into them classes them out amidst thousands if not millions of strangers and citizens in Babylon. Though they've left home yet home and good habit haven't quit them. They were patriotic even in the face of death. It is the content in you you can manifest. If you've been under a bad minister, it will show in speech, deed and demeanour. There won't be anything called Holy Spirit's restraint on your spirit or action at all. No sobriety or decorum. You will just be jumping like an unbridled horse and you'll one day get in trouble for that.

When some ministers follow the pattern God instructed all ministers to build in while some collapses and waters it down to have multitude that are still not whole, some people will be made to see those building according to pattern as hard men and difficult to cope with. Same happens in schools and in teacher-student relationship.

If you're reading this, God wants you to be patriotic and have a special allegiance and love for your country or the place called home. It was yesterday God was telling me to tell some people not to join their mouths to the reward of the wicked. Each of us will have what we're saying and what we say long enough.

Look, when people are speaking unpatriotically of their fatherland, despite being in the same shoe or even a worst situation, bridle yourself not to follow same. Act defiantly against that spirit of ridicule, mockery and sarcastic remarks that instead of looking for the good of his homeland is always and constantly publishing its shame. I'll say you, you who reads this today has a choice to do otherwise.

If we take a practical example, how many of such men would have irresponsible parents and come out at all or as often as they've done in tearing their fatherland down to spread their parents' ill in the public?

Do you know why they won't do that? They'll be as well embarrassed. They know if my parents or siblings are embarrassed, I am also. We have families that are poor, have insanity running as a flow or possesses one thing they are hiding which is troubling their ocean. Meanwhile, you can't know it because they don't talk it about. Even if your own family don't have any of these, I'm sure it has its own problems, for we humans can't but have one or the other. Do you come out on social media mocking it? Not once!

You only mock a thing you're not part of. Some people are not Nigerians. Don't misconceive their being in the designated geographic place called NIGERIA to call them Nigerians. Just like all those who call on God are not known by Him, likewise apply.

As for you, don't let it stem out of your mouth that it has ended for your country. If you say this enough, your life may be taken one day. You will just end. It is the law of life and death you're working and it's in your tongue. While you're gone, your country will still be existing. Be patriotic! Look for the good in or of your country and make that your emphasis. Post it with pride and speak of it in adorable words. One day, all these would have become prophecies that can solidify into tangibilities. Doing this also will teach you how to call things that be not as though they were until it manifests in the sense realm. In essence, you're living and simply acting faith.

Psalms 122:6, KJV

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee."

From here, you now know those who will prosper.

From your mouth, don't speak evil of your leaders. They have enough problems already. More importantly, don't misconcept I'm in government or a civil servant to have written this nor am I condoning a government that should do better. I'm only a citizen like you are. Together with you, Nigeria, Africa or your own nation can be better. We pray, act and live in faith. So, we receive our preorders!

 WEDNESDAY - 28TH JULY, 2021

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - Olusola ADEJUMO

WHERE THE LORD MUST CONFUSE YOUR LANGUAGE

Read Gen. 11:1-9, Numbers 22

Genesis 11:9, KJV

"Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth."

Don't judge a teaching by its heading. If you do, you can easily be offended and not get what the eyes have not seen nor ears have not heard that God has prepared for you that's there.

God must confuse your language. What you're building must not be completed. God must remove you from those false plans you want to hatch. What!

After the flood, the people journeyed seeking rest. They finally found rest in Shinar. A very comfortable valley to settle in. There, they decided to erect an edifice such that people would see and sigh, praising such men who have wrath such work. You see, the desire to achieve great feat or do things that would shock its hearers have been of old. Your wanting to make it or do great things must however not be to your praise first of all but God's praise. If in your pursuit to make a name for yourself, a name won't be made for the Lord, then there's no point going on such venture.

God came to check on these men and on peeping out of heaven's window, He saw that these men would achieve what they have set their minds to do. More so, they are at advantage of being of one speech. They understand each other as well and they have solely come to agreement. If nothing however is quickly done, God's plan that men exists over the surface of all the earth won't be achieved or let's say quickly achieved.

The very purpose for which this men have sought to build this great edifice that would reach to heaven contradicted God's. They wanted to stay together. God wanted them to spread out.

Brethren, God cares for you and He is very much after you. Like I used to say, "it will take a miracle - a mysterious mystery for a child of God to be finally defeated." Why did I talk in this manner? Because God takes thought for each Christian. He won't allow you go on your own way. Whenever God sees a Christian beginning to thread his own path, God like any earthly father will express a yearning heart after him. He'll pursue him and seek to stop him from continuation of what he has laid hands on. That's God's salvation and deliverance on the way. You might have been on the way - already doing something but God is an interrupter. I pray He stops you from a continuation of what won't serve His purpose and then bless you at day's end. Whenever God comes to stop men at work and places stop sign at the site where they labour, they may take God for a bad God who hinders people from having their own way. No, rather see Him as one who appears to preserve you from ultimatel

Look at Balaam, it took that kind of miracle I mentioned for him to fall into error. It took obstinacy and consistency on the wrong road for him to be allowed to go his way. Yet, you could see the so many checks and balances God puts on his way to restrain him after openly defying by desiring to go with the second messengers of Balak. First of all, his donkey of many years that he's accustomed with to have not acted funny for once started acting weird. He forced the donkey to journey but an angel was in his path. Rather, the donkey turned away on several occasions and endured his beating. It got to head when the donkey spoke for a sign yet he was still not moved. He saw the angel with the drawn sword and heard what he said on how he was sent to restrain him because his way was perverse before the Lord, yet he still had inner desire to go. It was then his reprobate desire was given him out of inconvenience and unhappiness of God. May you not strive with God until you turn God's hands to have your will. In the contention for the supreme will, may God always have the last say.

I pray, wherever you're on your own journey, building your own building, may you be intercepted. All buildings that won't serve the overall purpose of God won't be completed!

THE HUNGRY AND HIS SITUATION

THE HUNGRY

Read @ www.morningwingsministry.blogspot.com

Let me ask, "have you been hungry before?" Know ahead of time that the kind of 'being hungry before' I talk about isn't the kind where you'll say I'm hungry and not too long, you have eaten. That one isn't hunger. If you receive the stimulus of hunger and you can within a limited frame of time satisfy yourself, I'll say you've not really experienced hunger.

The hunger I'm talking about is the kind that descends and for at least twenty four hours or a reasonable time one wouldn't have continued without food [if he has the wherewithal himself to meet his needs let alone being tempted to act against moral or the laws] continues without food. This kind of hunger do carry consequences in its trail.

It can lead to cold. Have you seen somebody that's clothed and well clad in swollen clothe yet shivers before? That kind of cold is internal. Not the one that the breeze causes. The breeze can only top it. If you're hungry till you begin to shiver from the inside, then you're really hungry. That is when you leave being hungry to being famished. That is, you have nothing left in your belly to sustain you. Esau got to that point and he sold his birthright for food. Don't blame him, he was desperate. He reached a breaking point. Each of us has our breaking points on all issues of life. May you not be tempted beyond what you can bear as said the Scriptures. Even if you're on the road to being broken, may God's salvation redeem you from consequently reaching there. I order angels to give you an immediate passageway of escape. Syria was waiting for Samaria to break but my Lord rather made Syria hear the noises of many chariots [which he mistaken for many armies rented against him] and so fled. That's how Jireh broke that process and redeemed Samaria from surrendering. Receive redemption in any area of your life. I pray you won't go. You won't go just like that. Satan is disappointed!

Now, from that point of real hunger, you'll become frail and less interested in common activities. More so, it can now visibly than before easily show on your face that you're hungry. The aspect of hunger showing on one's face was what Jesus wanted us guard against when we fast when He said these.:

Matthew 6:16-18, KJV

"16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; 18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly."

Jesus Himself acknowledged hunger showing on one's face when fasting. It's because God didn't create any man to survive without food. We're not angels. That's why Jesus proffered a solution which was to cream one's head and wash the face often to ease that tension of hunger being noticed.

Except you're a fasting Christian like some Christians; that's when your breaking point where hunger would have been easily noticed on you would be deferred into the future of days to come. If some Christians have not eaten for three days or even more, it won't show so noticeably on them since they've always being living in sobriety. Such fellow's activities may be slowed down but because he has always maintained the quiet moving pace, it will be hard to guess or notice him. The truth anyway is that hunger has a way of describing itself on one's face. A man that the map of hunger reflects over is such man that needs an emergency economic aid.

Also, any that's really hungry can get to a state of inactivity. A place where he shuts down and stops working. That's why such resort to sleep which may not even come easily especially if headache or stomachache should accompany it. That's because he's too weak to think or carry his body parts to do activities. That is why if you ask those that does long fasting, they'll tell you they only stay in one place to pray once they hit at their time of deep weakness. Long fasting here is not three or seven days marathon to some Christians. If you're doing the kind of fasting that can make you look like a hungry [starved] man, you'll get to a place where you can't speak in prayer again. Rather, you'll be muttering. As time goes on, you'll be humming or groaning. Only in thoughts will your activities even be as you even ascend further. That's how people trek long journey in the spirit. Fasting is hard but definitive and purposeful but hunger is harder because there's no aim being hungry is targeted at. Who experiments with hunger intentionally to discover truths about it?

This is why you must forever be awake and aware to the needs of the needy around you. Many there be that are currently in this position. If they should cross your path, ensure something of yours drops for them. Many there be on our streets, even in Lagos that commercial city. I can't number how many have requested me to buy food for them. Some are even specific. They'll say, "bread." They're now opting for food because many might not want to give them money because of many reasons and what experience have taught men under this sun.

That's why I'm praying that you won't be hungry. Mind you, you'll be hungry but to get to a place where you'll desire even getting a common food to manage yet without getting, may the Maker of Israel always hinder you from descending there.

If you ask the prodigal son, he would write an essay on hunger for you. If you can't wait to read that, he'll give you a summary writing on the topic "hunger." Do you know why? He got to a place where he knew hunger and hunger knew him. Let me show you.

Luke 15:16, KKV

"And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him."

Did you see that? He got to a place where he was so pressed on all sides by hunger that he descended in desire to feed on what pigs do eat but even that one, nobody allowed him. Those who knew hunger were those who got to a place where they went back to dip their hands in their trousers' pockets, purses or rummage through their wares for either money or a little provision with which to salvage the situation, yet without getting any.

Father, what did you promise we your children?

Psalms 34:10,KJV

"The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing."

Lord, that "any good thing", use it to cushion us. Let that testimony become flesh to dwell with us forever.

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - Olusola ADEJUMO

THE MAN THAT CAN SAY, "I WILL NOURISH YOU"

Genesis 50:21, KJV

"Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them."

You must know that there will be a time in everyone's life where he or she is fulfilling "when they were but a few men in number and while they move from one nation to another, He suffers no man to touch them [Psalm 105:12-14]. Such time is a period of smallness. It is very much associated with childishness and inability to even rebuke ills for oneself. It is a blessing finding God to persuade and rebuke men on one's behalf however at this time. At that time, a man or woman has not been made. He may not have what it takes to nourish another. It is still his period of gathering when he fights to amount.

Joseph said to his brethren, "I will nourish you." That won't be the first time he'll be saying same. He had said it to his brothers when they first discovered him. When Joseph said he'll nourish them, he was speaking of nourishing over sixty people or let's say seventy in total [Gen.46:26-27]. Money or resources in some people's hands isn't for fashion parade. It is to fulfill obligation.

Joseph said "I'll nourish you" as if the whole earth was in his hands. Indeed, he was speaking of things he was assured of. How many people can speak in like manner, looking at all their family members and then say "I will nourish you." The question is, "has he nourished himself first of all?" That statement can never spree out of the mouth of he that's still trying to have bread spared for himself. The fellow who was assuring others he'll feed them was not one relying on the generosity of another. The resources is in his own hands and as it seems, he doesn't even needs Pharaoh's permission before spending it on his family.

I want you to know that one of the blessings any man can experience is to have other people's bread given to him to keep and release upon request to them. It's a privilege. If you see someone in a family that God raises very high above others with an economic gap they can't easily near, God has chosen that man as a custodian of the wealth of others.

My prayer is just that God will take all head of families to the height where they can say to their extended family, "I will nourish you and nothing will happen!" Some that are trying to be responsible by taking on the responsibility of a nourisher for now over their own nuclear families let alone extended family have the testimony of it not flowing. The responsibility of the responsible is burdensome. If it were possible, you'll even have loved to escape it but how can you shut your bowels of compassion at your own. That's worst than denying the faith. For this reason, you keep trudging on.

When Joseph said, "I will nourish you", he was adding responsibility upon responsibility. He already had the work of feeding his nuclear family to discharge but when he took it upon himself in those words to feed the family of his father, Jacob, he had written a letter to a high level kind of job. Yet, you knew it was not difficult for him because he rules Egypt at this time. Grain was under his command. He had enough to eat and give away. The Bible told us afore the famine that Joseph had gathered grain until it couldn't be numbered again. So, there's abundance that can incapacitate responsibility at hand.  There's a height or a place to get to where each you won't see it as responsibility feeding multitude. If you don't know, it was a nation Joseph fed throughout those years of famine. How I pray that you and I will be hastened by the anointing that doesn't repent today to get here. I told someone that even if the government of a country is irresponsible, if every one that God has paved way for can take care of his family needs, the poverty and problems in the country will reduce. Who are those their family are looking up onto here? If I be called with a holy call, may you by grace mixing with favour grow to become a tree that the birds of the air can make houses on. May God accommodate many people under your branches. May comfort arise for your people from you. May it be that you'll be sent ahead of them to put in place for them as to be nourished.

You see, those of you who have gotten early education in your families or are the first to have a breakthrough that's economic, that's the kind of job God is calling you to do. Joseph also was sent ahead of his people. His journey was accelerated in making it because of some people that must be preserved. Joseph knew the calling that was on him. You must know yours. An economic deliverer is a great deliverer also. It is not only Satan that kills. Hunger, poverty kills. With these prevalent in anyone's life, they'll even be weak and lacking in morale to fight the devil. No man tackles what is secondary when primary haunts him.

To all men especially on whom the call of being a nourisher rests on primarily, by the anointing, I say God is obligated to you today. What is not enough shall be topped. The call to nourish your family, extended and all that will be brought across you shall be effortlessly done. You won't see it as responsibility sponsoring many people at the same time. It won't be from pain, struggle or friction that's murmuring and complaining. The wherewithal shall be given you in Jesus name.

PRAYER: Take me to a place where I can assume responsibility for multitude. Give me the wealth to preserve people.

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - Olusola ADEJUMO

THOSE WHO CAN BOAST

II Timothy 4:6-7

"6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:"

There's difference between "I have finished the course" and "I'm fulfilling the course." One denotes completion and a laying to rest while the other reveals an ongoing action.

Yesterday, we saw the reply of Ahab to Benhadad and how he said, "let not he that puts on his harness boasts himself as he that puts it off [I Kings 20:11]." We saw a warrior that has fought and already have a result of battle (success at hand) while we saw one that can't yet decide his outcome.

Paul said he has finished his course. It is such that can boast. All of us Christians that have not been called home to be with the Lord are still running the course or race. We are not praying for your backsliding but anything can happen to even a Christian that has been known for fervency. Have we not seen men with burning callings, great evangelists that the dead rose in  their hands that became drunkards in their life low moment. There be many who stumbled through adultery as they run their course. So, no one in this flesh can be regarded as having arrived until he is called home and yet with his clean sheet unstained. These are those that can say whatsoever where they are. These are those we on earth can also pull rank with. They are even our best examples of people that made it. Any one in front of us on earth irrespective of how anointed or esteemed by both God and men he may be still needs very much our prayer. That's why the Bible on one hand says "wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall [ I Corinthians  10:12]. The tendency of falling is there while still in this flesh.

Why? He has not finished his race. He's still running it. If that be, anything can happen.

At Paul's departure, the league he goes to join is what is known as the cloud of many witnesses.

Hebrews 12:1, KJV

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us."

These are those who have warred and have received witnesses to have won. They are out of the struggle. They rather are spectators watching how we're passing through where and what they've passed through. We hope joining them one day.

No one should boast and exceed his measure when he is still in this flesh. The reason is simple. He that puts on his harness shouldn't boast himself as he that puts it off. The exam you have passed is one you can call others to endeavour to pass. If you're still on it and still struggles for prove of success, you're still a journeyman. May you and I excel.

PRAYER: He that keeps one's feet from slipping, hold me. Pray for all Christians and ministers. Pray for backsliders and sinners.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 Chronicles 14:1-16:14, Romans 9:1-24, Psalm 19:1-14, Proverbs 20:1
