MARRY YOUR BELIEF!

 MARRY YOUR BELIEF

When God comes to you to qualify you as the unqualified, may you not disqualify yourself. Aaah, that's a great prayer put within the cleft of my heart for you. May you be fitted. Grace qualifies you but you can still reject grace. When mercy is being extended to you like this, you could still make fun of it even if it would be because of ignorance. When the sceptre was extended to Esther, that was an act of mercy. If she however didn't take it by touching its tip, she would have been treated like one who still didn't find mercy (like one the sceptre was not for once stretched to). You must accept God's provision for you to be preserved. If any rejects it, he gets condemned though he was provided for and included for preservation in God's salvation package. So, I'll say all sinners should repent for it is not the will of the Father that ye be lost. Receive the whole truth that Christ commends His love to you while you were yet sinners. He died for you!

When God's dispatch (those two angels) arrived in Sodom, they told Lot after their confirmation and establishment of what is truth that he should hurry up and get himself, family, whatsoever and whomsoever belongs to him still left in the city out of it because the Lord has planned its overthrow. To Lot, it didn't sound too high or whiskey. At least, he had learnt God's ways from Abraham. He believed that and he moved in fear to go seek the two people that he could call his. Look at mercy. Not that they have become his properly but one's daughter's husband to be is still one's. He went after his sons-in-laws to be. Lot has two virgin daughters and these were their fiancés. Let's hear desperate and concern Lot speak to persuade them.

Genesis 19:14, ESV

"So Lot went out and said to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters, “Up! Get out of this place, for the Lord is about to destroy the city.” But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be jesting."

What response did he get? Mockery, scoffing and jesting. They scoffed at him. They were just looking at him and wondering whether papa was alright. Everything he said was like, "common, this can't happen. Destruction from heaven, from God. Where would it come from? It's just impossible." They added all together and it still didn't sum up to them. Did they not have a record of God once destroying the earth? So, they waved it off. They called it an impossibility.

Did you see mercy come for them but they were not yet persuaded? Mercy wanted them to leave the city and not be partakers in the wrath to come but they didn't still heed. Now, why didn't they heed? Why brethren? Their belief! It was fundamentally and totally different from that of Lot. That's why I said in the beginning that they were not even qualified first time but because they were related to Lot and we know it is an established rule in the Bible that God would spare sinners because of a believer, so God decided to save them with Lot's household. Yet, they disqualified themselves. Their not being of one belief with Lot made them share in the communal wrath of Sodom and Gomorrah. God had appeared to Lot in the flesh as two men who knew God's counsel. They told same to Lot who believed but when he told them same, they scoffed and took him for a jester. I'll like you see something with me. Their rejection revealed what Lot's daughters would be facing at home if they eventually marry these heathens. When they say this, Lot's daughters would say that. If Lot's daughters say, "dear, do you know I saw an angel?" He'll say, "it's your fever bringing blurred vision." You see, contradictions would then lead to confusion. Lot's daughters would suffer a lot for this I know cause probability might exist if they try to persuade their husbands to believe them, they might get in their throats one day, feel undermined and challenged by these wives and then beaten  up to establish their authority. That's what happens when you marry those who don't share your belief. You'll suffer for it in the fact that you'll rarely come to agreement. Both of you would hold two different views and then you won't be able to walk together because you're living in dissonance to Amos 3:3. If you're wrong and your spouse is also wrong; do you know you're in agreement compared to a couple where one spouse is wrong and the other is right? They won't be able to establish agreement, union and unity but the two wrong couple won't have problems with mutual understanding and enjoyment of each other.

Brethren, the person you want to marry is a Christian, that's good. You've done well not to be yoked together with an unbeliever (II Cor.6:14). No problem. Denominations have done damage to the body of Christ as each denomination has built on a part of the truth rather than the whole also. In this denomination, they believe in baptism by sprinkling but that denomination firmly opposes it. It goes on like that and multitude are following the 'truths' they know. The husband did baptism by sprinkling, the wife said it was a scam and that immersion is what is genuine (which off course she was baptised into). This is the problem of denomination that would cause wobble walk of two people with themselves. It wasn't long the man beats the wife up for saying he was not properly baptized! When asked, he said "she always prove herself a better Christian than himself." So, in your choice of a marriage partner, ensure you marry your belief wholly. Any contradiction in belief between you and your spouse is a danger. Mind you, the contradiction may be on any issue of life. My ministry father told us of a woman who believed couples should not have sex on Sundays. She said, it is dedicated unto the Lord. Sunday is not even the sanctified Sabbath and even if we're to manage it as same, nothing says sex should not be had with one's spouse on any day except by the agreement of each of you to give yourself to God's things or spiritual exercises (I Cor.7:5). Until this woman heard my ministry mother preach the truth, she never bulged. Their marriage was filled with a degree of disharmony because this woman won't allow Sunday sex but call it unholy and unapproved by God. She's been freed now and the husband could let loose the rein even on Sundays. Except for the fact that the husband was very patient, a half converted Christian would have turned it into another thing.

Even today, there are those without that don't believe in Christ's coming. Tell them that this world shall come to an end one day and they'll burst into laughter. If you're not a believer enough and one without shame, you can't preach to such 'cause they'll humiliate you and prove to you you're following fallacy. Yet, Paul said we have not followed cunningly devised fables. The Bible isn't a lie. If you as a sister or brother falls into such fellow's bosom, you'll always be opposite poles. The mistake people made in the days of Noah that led to only few being saved was made in the days of Lot and only a household with the exclusion of a member was saved from the region of Sodom and Gomorrah. Same is still going to be made again on personal ground in choice making and on issues of eternity which would consequent in heaven or hell. It is not too late. Are you in any of such relationship? Persuade yourselves into correct agreement with each other. Look for someone to settle grey and disparity areas with you. If the other won't agree and you feel this is future danger, act resolutely to come out if you're already in? If you've not yet received Christ as your Lord and Saviour, then your name won't be recorded in the book of the Lamb. This is eternal loss of one's soul. Prevent this and hearken to this admonition which says, the time of ignorance God has winked at but now he commands all men to repent. Believe and be saved! If you are already, take heed before you go into marriage to have the same foundational beliefs as your spouse to be. Not settling this would cause disagreement, disunity and probably divorce which God hates and is unwanted for us.

GIVE DILIGENCE TO MANIFEST CALLING AND SPIRITUALITY!

Stream of Inspiration on DILIGENCE!

There's something like inspiration. When you work under it, your work almost becomes effortless. It eases you on just like that. The anointing on me does that for me to preach, teach and write. When I do, I give out season words and I'm always on point. That's why I always ensure my phone is very full. Do you know why? Once it hits me like this, it is typing throughout. I seek to trap and bring into tangibility and world of reality all the spiritual ideas, concepts and illustrations etc coming to my mind as poured into it from my spirit by God's Spirit.

You can rob yourself of not team working with your muse or as it applies to me, the Holy Spirit who daily inspires me. Nothing spiritual will become physical tangibility unless intentionally brought into the sense realm where it could be contacted with the eyes, ears or related with with other senses etc. This writing you're reading now once resides in my mind as thoughts but I have now fleshed them here for you to relate with as a human being of senses. You didn't know my thoughts until then. This is where the giving of diligence comes in to make anything spiritual or divine communications and entries coming to you a reality here on earth. How? Package it into something people could relate with. Even if you had the greatest spiritual experience before angels in your closet or on the mountain and you have refused to give a handle to it by which men of senses could intercept and relate with it, you would still be deemed fit as having not profited from such experience because it will die with you. That's why we write books, record in audio and videos so that our testament won't be lost and so that the calling or anointing we say we have might be seen to be real by men of senses that what is visible is more real to than what is spiritual. We seek to make into hard copies every soft copies that God illustrated to us. God can be doing well by relating with you while you yet waste all the resources. That's why right from our little age as Christians, we were told to always keep a book with us at devotion or while intercoursing with God so we would document His communication down. That's it! That's that truth we're stumbling on again. They taught us that long years ago and I have found it out to be true through and through. Only God knows how many books I have written that I am seeking for time to collate. Just many. That came from proper documentation and good storage system in my e-archive. You have an obligation to give diligence. Diligence means hard work, attention, concentration, focus, allocating of time to make to appear to human eyes the fact that you were called and elected.

It is only diligence that could make your calling and election sure.

II Peter 1:10,KJV "Wherefore the rather, brethren, give DILIGENCE to make your CALLING and ELECTION SURE: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall."

Calling is spiritual. It is an equipment meant to aid any one who God has chosen to bear burden with Him on earth and represent Him. However, how do we know you're called since all of us are men of sense knowledge and can't perceive what is beyond our sense realm unless it is dragged and put here (on earth) first of all or we're taken back to the world of spirits where you received them and then are made sure of same. The recent is hard! We however know by contacting! Knowing this, what manner of man ought ye to be as a man who has sensed God's call on himself or herself. Seek its manifestation physically. Let it transform from spiritual to being physical. Like Bishop Dag Heward Mills, write books and take it everywhere to advertise. The minister i know whose books have reached the ends of the earth greatly in this dispensation is that. Leverage on every form that could spread it. As it spreads, your calling spreads and it becomes hard for any to say you were not called because the proofs answer them. You're known to have been birthed and to have carried such and such calling. Like Pastor E.A Adeboye, build churches. Do you think it doesn't take more than brilliance or what appears to build branches? It does. If not, that guy selling wears should have opened many branches across his city or town (don't let us mention his country now for that would be too much for a man not being aided by the Holy Ghost). If those doing business for donkey years couldn't even extend yet they wished but someone is acquiring more branches and having more pastors, then it means, he's been helped by something invisible. But none would have seen his proofs of calling if he didn't give a handle to them. He dragged them where they could be seen. If you have the call, you have the enablement and it's that that would help you plant churches like Pastor Adeboye or Bishop Mills himself. But, you must still see to it. You must be zealous to spread and then see to it practically by asking, "how do I create another branch or how do I come on ground?" So, you may need to rent a place or buy land to spend huge money to raise a structure that would be proof of your calling. When people see worshippers in there, they won't have doubt over your call again. Only by then would you have made your calling and election sure.

You must be vindicated and to be, practicality must come in. Attention to details, sleepless night, fasting, praying, steps of wisdom, waxing albums, authoring a magazine, going on missions, on air etc are just little of the evidences of a calling that has been made sure. Generally, it is by doing the work of ministry. There's a thing like that and I think I'm doing that and we promise to give more effort to doing more. I'm your brother in Christ, do please, keep praying for us that God might enlarge space for our feet and give us a Rehoboth!

WHAT YOU CALL IT IS WHAT IT WOULD BEAR!

 ```WHAT IF UNKNOWINGLY TO YOU, "IT IS WHATSOEVER YOU CALL THEM THEY'LL BEAR?"``` - An Instruction To Those Who Have Ears To Hear
God brought all the beasts and birds to Adam, to test him and see if he'll see rightly and profess rightly. That's to send a feedback to God on how perfect the man He has created is if the premeditated end result is produced. Adam didn't disappoint that suspense of God. He rather fills the belly of that divine curiosity. All the animals presented to him were rightly named. He satisfied God's heart to the core that God didn't have to rename any animal again. Rather, a confession, a good offshoot and sweet smelling speech was sent forth bearing witness to his supernatural proficiency in the course of accurate naming, tagging, labelling and branding. What is it?
Genesis 2:19, KJV
"... and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof".
Did you see that last phrase at all? Read it again. Now, what if God is putting you in this same position of whatsoever he (you) names them, that's the name afterwards? What would be the outcome at day's end? I can bet it with you, many would fail and there would be multitude that would litter the horizon. That's because many people can't order their mouth to speak differently from what presents itself to them.
All the animals presented didn't have any name prior to their naming. The testimony was "you've named right" just like it was said of Jeremiah to have seen right also (Jeremiah 1:11-16). In like manner, events, situations and things would intentionally cross your path and walk over to you in at this season to see what you'll name them. They'll pretend to be faulty and see if you'll rather declare amendment to them or say "aaah! this is beyond remedy." Irrespective of who or what presents itself to you, what you'll call them is greatly awaited and mustn't be a misnaming. God is telling you of a new thing that would spring up. That's a hack from a loving Father. As it is occurring to my inner man, God is giving you a "speak it -become it mouth." It is called the striker's mouth and it's that of Samuel, the national prophet whose words never fall to the ground. He says it and he has it. He sows it and he reaps it. May you not reap sour consequences however (I Samuel 3:19).
Like Adam's didn't fall to the ground because whatsoever he calls them is what God agrees with (and there's no need for renaming), so also would God be giving you a mouth that allows you to create your destiny and outcome. Misspeaking, misconfessing or mislabelling things that God wouldn't see as you would see them would spell disaster on motion. Adam and God agreed on all the naming. God never had cause to say, "let's revisit it." It would even be good if after your misnaming if there's room for revisitation. What if it is, "strike it once and have it that once?" I'm really urged to believe it to be that. It's a give away yet with restriction to caution the excesses of man.
Beware of what you say and how you say it. May the Spirit inside you take hold of your mouth to confess the will of God even in seemingly deteriorating situations. When one event happens that doesn't appeal you, "may you not curse it instead of blessing it and thereby overcoming evil with good" in this manner we're relating with. The mouth of the creator is being granted you at this season - so you'll create your outcome and easily make up for the losses and sluggishness of the past. Because it's whatsoever you call it it would bear and manifest out to you; when you face situations, think upon it before you strike it even when impelled.  If you say it is thorns, hard labour, slavery etc, that's exactly what they'll become and consequently live up to. Ask yourself, "what if it's whatsoever I call it it would bear?" May your mouth be aligned not to negatively seal your destiny by wrong naming because whatsoever you call it is what it would bear. So, beware of naming what you won't like God or holy angels say an "amen" to. God has spoken. Esteem it so.
Happy New Season from me to you!
WHY CAN'T I?
WHY CAN'T I?
If you see someone do something in an area which shocks you and which you wonder how they've come to be doing such when you can't even flex muscle there but still left wondering where capacity for such thing is coming from, just know they have a CALLING or a kind of EQUIPPING there. However, I'll focus on calling. God has placed an equipment on them to understand that place by divine inspiration because of the interest in them to pursue it. Divine wisdom aids them and so have inspiration of God to be led into such field which you consider too big to subdue and impossible for you to enter into.
I'll give an instance. Consider somebody (let's say an age mate, equal or a younger one) having a real estate company of his own where he sells lands to clients while you're left wondering how he manages that and functions in that when you see it as a thing you can't go into.
Then, you remember that you also have branches of a church denomination all around which the other person in perplexity has asked how you've been running same. It is there both of you should know that you were made for what you're doing each. It puzzles each of you what the other is doing because it is not given you to do the assignment of your friend. So, his field will be mysterious to you while yours will be as well to him. However, what each of you is called to will remain simple, enjoyable and one to be contented with in your heart.
One of the things that shows you're doing another man's job is that you don't understand it effortlessly and the joy of seeking to know things in that place don't come with joy. It shows you've gone to be in another man's plot or portion. There's a work that comes to us effortlessly and wins us to itself with all admiration. That's your divine job. I'll site an instance.
Sometimes ago, my institution took us to Ibadan (The once largest city in the centre of Africa before Cairo of Egypt overtook her) for training and scheme harmonization. All the staff do converge in a very long hall to eat. I like that hall. While we were talking, I told a colleague in the presence of all there, "I wish I could easily get this kind of hall in Lagos, I'll start church immediately there also". Do you know what he said? "Nigerians! When this hall could be made into a school with many classes carved out of it. Have we not enough many churches in this country?"
Then, I faced him to tell him his purpose for the hall isn't bad and mine isn't bad. Our purposes for the hall is coming out of what the Lord has gotten each of us ready for which we believe if we start, we'll succeed in. I have faith for starting churches than starting a business, school or any set up and he has faith for starting school than churches. That's why he even criticised having another church since many there be already. Yet, he didn't criticise having another school or business despite our knowing many there be already also! I have already began two churches that I have left as the Lord called me to move further in my Christian journey.  Equipping and Anointing is on me for church but not necessarily school or business. If I now take ministry to a level, my ministry could then bring forth a school. But what my inclination, training, persuasion, obsession etc tends towards and will chase more than any other is ministry first of all if we're told to choose.
You know I have a colleague who's into selling of beauty and make-up products. I was so perplexed and concern for her genuinely to the extent that I asked if her business yields return and does her well. I saw it as a minor unserious business but she kept telling me the business is good and that that's her love. I'll look at her and in my heart say, "May this girl not suffer." I didn't mock her. I was really concerned for her and wanted her to understand me and succeed.
Do you know why I think that business won't do? God has to give me an explanation before I grab it. Since I'm outside it, I rarely understand the business, how it operates, the teeming clients it has etc but she knows all these and so her assurance is grown to a point of conviction but rather I sympathize her. Is that not how many people have sympathized me but in mockery when they heard, "I'm doing ministry." They're just confused. Where did he get his anointing? How does he teach that often? Who authorized him to go start preaching? You don't need authorization of men. The part that says Paul didn't confer with flesh and blood was quickened to me. That if not your personal word may not make sense to you.
If God calls you, your ripe time will come and you'll know when to start. God will prompt you to start. He'll lead you to start. He'll hint you to start and help you to start also.
So, if you keep wondering why A or B is capable of doing what he is doing when you can't do it but rather have shame, zero drive or capacity for that thing, just know he or she was called into that. An equipping is what is aiding him.
If you want to test the reality of what I have just said, "if you have land or a building in Lagos, Ibadan, Sagamu or Ijebu Ode that you could freely release or even for a little payment from us to you", then try God and see what teeming population will be gathering there two years down the line. No denomination has taken all the members. The largest denomination in this country and the world will have hers and I will have mine. God always earmarks to the calling of any He calls.
Having church or preaching the gospel for God is the calling of Some People. That's why Jesus said, "My meat is to do the will of He that sent me". At that time, physical food just arrived from town but he was met interacting for conversion sake with a Samaritan woman. They persuaded him to eat but he said, "My MEAT, MOTIVATION, MORALE BOOSTER, PASSION, CALLING is to do the will of He that sent me and finish it." He said, "I have food to eat that ye know not of (to win souls)" and that food is to bring many to CHRIST for us too.
Did you see that what some have obsession for, you may not have for same. One's man's meat is another man's poison. While the disciples were minding and catering over physical food, Jesus was seeking to have that woman believe in Him. Where you're active may be somebody's most inactive point. Why? Calling! Motivation makes the difference. That is what spurs us to do what we do or don't do.
I pray that you won't lose your equipping. The anointing on you is your hope of glory apart from Christ in you. In it are many things to be born that will even cater for your needs and many more if you'll go the way of the called. I see you go that way today!
FIXATED AND FROZEN FOR GOOD: BAPTIZING CHILDREN BY IMMERSION INTO TRAINING - Vow Series 006
I Samuel 1:11, KJV
"And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head."
I have told you what your vow should be all about when it is the kind you're making for or on behalf of your children. Also, we've seen how to receive what could fuel our vow or commitment towards proper child training. If you'll fix or freeze a child for a way of life now, you know what sort of way of life it should be. That's good. Meanwhile, I'm here to show you better things about that good way of life you've discovered or found by which your child would be ordered.
When Hannah was making her vow, she said if I be given a male child, then, "I'll give him unto the Lord all the days of his life." Did you see that there? A thing giving to the Lord or to something for all the life of that person here on earth can't but be hinting at total give away, separation, dedication and sanctification. She's releasing fully. Did you see total commitment to a way of life in what she said there at all? Not give and take but giving with immersion or a dipping into in proper. Hannah did because we read her going to Shiloh to make this her vow good after the weaning of Samuel. She dropped off Samuel at the Prophet's or Prophetic Academy as a young chap. That act only commands the attention of the mass media. There were several headlines like, "Wicked Mother Cast Her Baby Away", "The Church Is Under Folly Making Prophets Out Of A Baby With Mucus." All these and many more were the words with which the world busied itself with when Samuel was dropped off.
At the vowing, Hannah mentioned and decided on the sort of life Samuel would be made to live (to tarry in God's house forever) but that never became a reality until she took him there. That's where the journey begins. Look at me parents. You must seek to make vow or your decisions before God come to pass by taking actions. You assured God this child won't serve the devil. How would you make good of that? Is it by folding arms and not following process by process on how a child could be taught God's fear and way? Hannah having vowed, made it impossible for Samuel to live another life by initiating him into that life and leaving him to live it on and on. So, she thought at the vowing, where's the best place where this boy could be immersed fully into being useful for the Lord? Is it by retaining him at home or by taking him to live with a minister whose job and all he knows and teaches is God, His ways and how to walk with Him. She found her answer. Retaining this boy at home won't do though we also are believers who have learnt God's way. I have my own job to do and the father also has his. We can't give this boy a full time education on this kind of life that lines with the vow I vowed. So, she sold him off to the Lord's house under the tutelage of Eli, a man regarded mighty and honourable in God's understanding of things.
Hear me, the more you steep your child of vow into the way you vowed or promised to commit him to, the more you're assured you have nothing to fear in the future. It is he who has not done his part that would have occasional fear about a turn of event. Train a child in the way he should go, when he grows up, he won't depart will be your anchor. Once you discover what destiny or purpose that child of yours is to live out here on earth, don't only separate him but separate him fully to that way, path, training, field, profession etc by either sending him to where others longing to become in such way of life are or by home training him by immersing him fully into it. At home, don't let the distraction of home hinder the immersion training.
Verse 24 says and "Samuel was taken to the house of the Lord." She left home where the training would have been diluted to where all he sees, reads, hears, relate with is God and His things. What he learns to be play or game is around God. What he learns to be sleep is around same. Everything is just about God and that made his growth faster. Why? He's having a concentrated education on that way of life. That's why God could call him also early when other children were shut out of God's call. That's why though he didn't know who called but because he was around those who know, he was able to be taught.  God is saying, don't do things half way or mildly. Have you discovered what life, training, calling that child should live. Begin to dose and then overdose him on that. What makes people the best of the best is their well dosage in that field.
PRAYER: I shall not spare my child. To the academy he/she must go. Mighty she must become.
FIXATED FOR THE LORD - Vow Series 005
Proverbs 22:6, KJV
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
Once more, I'll say, don't vow at all. Vow is dangerous if you'll be unfaithful with it. If you're a truce breaker whenever a thing is lent you, it may mean you won't fulfill your vow. Here is a child that is still in heaven. His spirit has not been released to come enter and become a foetus in the mum's womb or let's even say he is already in the womb, but here is someone opening his or her mouth to say, "this is how you shall live." The child is far cut off from what they're saying though he or she may be receiving signals of it and throbbing in the womb. Do you know you could do harm or good by vowing a child away before their birth? Parents do that without consulting with the so called child as to know what sort of life he wants to live. Any way, you don't owe your child such obligation but you owe God. If you enquire of God the life (destiny) He has set for your child and by that revelation orders such, you won't be wrong. If also you decide to order your child in the ways and will of God as already revealed in the Holy Bible, it won't be wrong. But if you vow him into the wrong life or destiny, you won't like it. Let me say a thing. Our vow is not as powerful as the act that follows to process or see that vow to fulfilment. What do I mean? Let's assume you vow a child would become a doctor but refused to train him in the path of becoming that, I can assure you he might not become that doctor. God blessed Hannah with a heart to probably know what was in God's heart in that in her vow, she stipulated such child of hers would be given to the Lord. Does that not coincide or let's say set the stage for a prophet God would need later when we know Eli's sons became reprobate to God? So, Hannah prayed and vowed in line with what God would do. The Holy Spirit is given us to always tune our frequency to where we'll hit the appropriate by praying according to God's desire. We're at more advantage than Hannah.
A robber may give birth to a child and may vow to his Creator (not his Father. He himself acknowledges that God is not his Father) that the son would become a robber after him. What do you think he'll do if he means it? He'll begin to teach him pickpocketing and buy him books written by robbers on the psychology of entering without notice and picking without observation. Do you know that to a larger extent, he'll achieve his aim? Since a child knows nothing at birth and the mind is in tabularaza form, he'll follow sheepishly until either the Lord has need of him to collect him for Himself or until the child by discovery rebelled to live on in such way. Now, let's ask ourselves the big question. If the child rebelled, would God be unhappy with him or still demand of that child to submit to his father since God wants people's vow to Him to be performed? It is zero and God would have none of that. That vow from the onset was anti-God though man might train his child to fulfill and live in that way but I knew God wouldn't have approved that or let me say I knew the God the Christians serve wouldn't have approved that. You'll agree with me there may be a religion where they vow to concentrate their child to an anti-God and anti-human way even before his birth? How do you explain children soldiers, suicide bombers etc? They groomed them right from after weaning so that by adulthood their conscience would have been seared as not identifying differences between good and evil again. Don't forget that the scripture that says, "teach a child in the way he should go..." is as well dangerous! Why? Because except God's salvation, if a parent trains a hired killer, he might till death be one except by God's interruption. So, use this power of being a parent very well by vowing and training (committing your children) into a line or pattern of living that's the Lord's and His only. The safest of these people are those who vow by vowing what the Lord already fixed the child to be. Knowing or having an inkling on destinies of children before vowing them away matters a lot so you won't set their lives in contradiction with God's best plan later. We may take Hannah as an example though no prophecy sincerely told us that Samuel would be a prophet of the Lord. We could say he became one having began to relate with that realm to the exclusion of others with all attention and love for it. But we might as well ask where he got his love from. If there was no specially inputted love in him from God, he might have departed or strayed from that way when he reached the age of accountability. He could have said he'll like to become a hunter, goldsmith or what have you. So, I'll say Hannah hits a frequency in the spirit before vowing so much more that she vowed the child into the future God was planning for him. May your vow coincide with destiny.
THE DANGER IN HANNAH'S VOW - Vow Series 004
I Samuel 1:11, KJV
"And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head."
Many people have not seen the danger in Hannah's vow. It is a danger indeed but it's also a danger that's not dangerous. What makes it a danger, you'll see. What makes it also a danger that's not dangerous, you'll as well see. What was Hannah's vow? Give me a man child that I shall give to you all the days of his life and razor shall not come on him! That was her request and we all learnt from the Holy Bible that Hannah didn't defer to katergeo (cut off) Samuel to the Lord. She respected that vow. Also, Samuel's head was kept far from any shaving.
Now, let's ask a question. What if as Samuel grows with Eli, he lacks desire for God's things and wanted to be a run away boy, who would have been guilty if Samuel left the house of the Lord and then shave his head - break his consecration? Don't forget that that was the vow the mother made on his behalf. Samuel knew nothing but that was done even time ahead of his conception. Should that be enough to free Samuel from this vow of his mother if he had decided to live a rebellious life?
The Spirit told me the first solution to what seems to be a riddle here is to train up a child in the way he should go and when he's old, he'll not depart from same". Did Hannah do that? How did she do that? By sending off Samuel away from herself to acclimatize with the Lord before the great age of accountability. She did her own by cutting off Samuel immediately when Samuel couldn't have had will to say, "no, I am not going. I am not going to walk on that road you have earmarked for me before birth." Hannah must have sent Samuel away so early and immediately after weaning because she was forecasting the boy might change his mind and decide on another road of living if she doesn't point him to one which she already vowed as what would raise him up. So, the Justice of the Lord would have discharged Hannah if when Samuel got to Eli's place and as he matures begins to really misbehave out of his set life. Notwithstanding, if that happens and Hannah is still alive, would Hannah not still be under obligation to call Samuel to order and remind him of the life she vowed and fixed for him which he must live by? Yes and this is how I know.
Proverbs 31:1-4, KJV
"1 The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him. 2 What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows? 3 Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.4 It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:
That's a mother warning and telling the child not to live somehow because he's a child of her vow. It means after the vowing, a straying from it should follow a remembrance from parents to their children. Tell them, it is not good that they live that way they've suddenly slipped into. It's contrary to their vowed lifestyle.
If Samuel had shaven his hair, left the Prophet's Academy and ran to the parks and garage with hot crying in honesty of heart from Hannah yet without Samuel's repentance, God would have discharged Hannah to hold Samuel accountable because Samuel is aware of what life he should live and what calling that vow has placed on him but now does contrarily. He'll also be held accountable because he has reached the age of accountability and could decide or choose for himself. But this should not deter parents from ordering their children in the way they should go. Also, when they miss it, they should remind them of who they really are or called to be and be called back. That principle works and works much of the time. The human mind at birth is a clean slate - having tabularaza mind. It is what you fill it with that would be the manifestation of your child. Begin to familiarize your little baby with God's way and they shall never depart from it.
PRAYER: Lord, I shall not hide your prophecies and promises from my issues. Instruct me to instruct them.
