WHY YOU'LL BE ABSOLVED 

Matthew 1:19-20, KJV

"19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost."

For that which is conceived in her is of the "what?" "The Holy Ghost", you'll say. People of God, we thank God for such Christmas we had yesterday. It's still in the air and so let's see some issues further from the birth story of Jesus. 

Here's Joseph fuming and contemplating on what to do - "yes, I'm done with her. She has played the harlot! How can I? (He stammers as he talks and you could see displeasure in his face). As he sleeps however, God's angel meets him in a dream and otherwise was told him. Let me ask. If the fellow you're engaged with is caught cheating on you and you have a solid proof like seeing pregnancy in her, would you allow for persuassion on the matter? I know your answer. You're as jealous as Joseph. All of us though we be righteous men can't endure that sight of another man leaping on our own. The very reason you must not do it to another.  It's horrible and killing. That's why a fellow like Joseph though a righteous man was at least minded to put her away secretly. And I'll say that's good of him because his lenient resolution still shows he's indeed righteous. If it were some, before the angel ever told them the truth that'll console them, Mary would have been slighted. The abuse rain that would have descended on her would have been terrible. Rather, he concludes, "just let's separate quietly as not to put her in any shame. God will do mine at its right time." This should have been how Joseph consoled himself. But then, God heard his contemplations and saw his worry and the very thing eating him up. Though he sleeps, it is a sleep to relieve the sorrow of heart he's having. Thus, the angel says, "Joseph, the son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost."

What do you think settled the matter if not for that singular utterance, "that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost." This is where I knew Joseph indeed knew God and was a righteous man because I began to think of it, if somebody else was the one, "will he agree or understand at all what excuse the angel was giving when he said - that which is in her is conceived of the Holy Ghost?" Will you also believe in the truth - "that which is in her is of the Holy Ghost?" Will the next subject matter not be to evaluate the correctness of the means by which you were spoken to though that's your established means proven over the years? But Joseph believed. When he heard, "it was of the Holy Ghost", all inner jangling ended. He dropped all he had planned to do and you could see him wholeheartedly relent. What a thing! Just like God spoke to me and I heard. This teaching shall be focused on only one thing - "for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost."

Brethren, that statement is the reason why Joseph let the sleeping dog lie. Nothing on earth could have convinced him and had him drop his intention if not that. And the Lord came to me saying, "Olusola, do you know why you'll be absolved? Do you know why none could accuse you it's your fault and that you should be held responsible? It's because whatsoever you do as a minister (in the anointing and in truth) is reckon to Me and not you." Then the explanation went further. "If you heal the sick who's under the affliction of the dark powers of this world, those dark powers and their human ambassadors in what you humans call witches, wizards, priests or priestesses can't do a thing to you. They'll absolve you and let you go because at any search to know who did that, they'll always encounter - "for that which was done by him was by the Holy Ghost." And because it's by the Holy Ghost - He we can't say NO to, they'll let the matter die." I sighed as I concurred. He told me, "this is how I protect all ministers and that's why they can take on more evil upon evil. It's because I'm the One working in them. They're just vessels. I needed just a body and that's what Mary provided me to fill up. Who should be faulted and held responsible by Joseph then? Mary or I? "You Father!" "But how would my son, Joseph not absolve me. Even if any witch or wizard isn't my child, am I not their Creator and they My created? What will a vessel do to its maker? It's at this juncture that all became clear to me. God told me, "go and touch the untouchables, do the unthinkable, preach the gospel to the poor, the recovery of sight to the blind and the breaking of chains of the oppressed. No one can hold you responsible. They might say, "it was that minister who loosen the chain of our captive, now let's touch him or any around him but I'll respond - that which was done by him was done by the Holy Ghost. In this way, it'll always be case closed before it begins." I was just laughing and smiling around. 

Christians and ministers, God is saying to you, on every occasion that I'm the cause, I'm to be blamed but who can have (receive) my prostration? "Oh, I'm in Your awe and praise O Lord." So, be confident people. What an occult priest can't heal, you can. What many people have been punished over, it's your own walk over. It's because - for that which is done by you is of the Holy Ghost. This is your pardon, why your Mary would be forgiven and befriended once more or let be by that opposite force. It has never proved to work. No Christian does a thing. It's God working in you both to will and do of His good pleasure (Phil.2:13). It's He filling Christians and all sent ones strength to do all things (Phil.4:13). He's their fuel and since He's higher than the ancient mountains and also created we all, "He has the last say" which you can inherit anytime opposing forces rival you. Today, are you a sinner, you're absolved first of all. God is calling you to Himself. Take the sinner's prayer: "Lord, forgive and receive me." Be baptized by immersion and in the Holy Ghost. Then, begin to do terrible things around - loosing chains by the Spirit's power and witness how you'll become like a seed of corn in the bottle to their bird. Oh, I'm absolved. I'm let go. Cases are closed this morning. All of you having cases in courts, I edit it! I end it. I say, "you're forgiven." Because the Holy Spirit carried the blame for impregnating Mary and Mary was not made a scape goat, let the real doer of what you're being accused of come under the Spirit's convinction and own up. You, "go and misbehave in the Holy Ghost and by the Holy Ghost" and let's see who would misbehave, maltreat and hold you responsible. You're absolved in God! (Laughter...)!

PRAYER: Lord, I'm absolved. Because my workings are by You, I'm absolved. I receive that favour spelt all over and all mine.

JESUS' BIRTH WAS IN THIS WISE

Read Mattew 1:18-25

Matthew 1:18, KJV

"Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost."

When the Bible says, "the birth of Jesus was on this wise", what did you understand that to be? If something is in this wise, it means it's not in another way and can't be told and shouldn't be told another way round. What that therefore means is that any strange, inconsistent narration offered you about the birth of Jesus that's not in mutuality with the tellings in the Bible (for instance the synoptic gospels) should not be believed. The reason is simple, the birth of notable people are usually contested and Jesus' is so important to us that we must adhere to the fact that Jesus' birth is in this wise and not another way round. There's no human being who doesn't have a biography and the biography of great people especially reveal a lot about them and the circumstances around their birth. Many great people had strange things happen round their birth. It may be pre-birth, at birth or post birth but something unusual is a marker to their uniqueness and at times how great their destiny would be on earth. Jesus' was not an exception. Apart from the prophecies that generations have been expecting on tiptoes to be fulfilled, at fulfilment, Jesus was born of a virgin and without a natural father. Jesus' birth was sinless therefore though Mary like any other woman must at one time or the other have stumbled at sin yet remains a righteous or holy sister like any of us today. The truth however is that, "through one man sin entered the world" and so death spread to "all men" (Rom.5:12). That verse does not say through "one man and one woman" sin entered the world. Sin entered the world through Adam, not through Eve. It was Adam who passed sin on to their downlines. And since Jesus had no natural father, it couldn't have been concluded sin was passed to Jesus since God (the sinless one was His Father and He was the One who gave Him His life). That truth must not be exchanged for another from you. Jesus' birth was sinless and Jesus is! We must know "that God made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him" (II Cor.5:21, KJV). Other references are I Peter 2:22 and I John 3:5.

Jesus' birth was an exception. So, when the account in Matthew says, "Jesus' birth happened in a particular way, you should immediately know that there'll be contest on the way the Bible specifically says Jesus' birth happened." Till date, there are still rumours and strong talks of mockery in many circles that Jesus was not born of a virgin and that Jesus was not sinless. Their reasoning is, "how could a woman be impregnated by a divine presence when we know that it's only through intercourse such could happen." They may not receive the Bible's witness that Mary was engaged to Joseph and found to be pregnant "with child of the Holy Ghost." Being pregnant with child of the Holy Ghost means Joseph was not His biological father and that Joseph didn't have intercourse with Mary until after Jesus' birth. God set Jesus in a family so He could grow in a normal home like any other balanced child. God needed the support of a male figure who'll stabilize Mary, save her from any disgrace and questioning of where she got the pregnancy from inorder to raise Jesus up. God's plan for a home where any child would grow up is not that of a single parent. If God had wanted single parenting, since Joseph didn't impregnate Mary, God would have made it possible for Mary to be on her own but the concept of two coming together as husband and wife still had to be put into consideration for so many reasons. 

In this account, Joseph though a righteous man couldn't take it in finding Mary pregnant. He was contemplating letting her go secretly when the Owner and Master of his soul came to Him and persuaded him to take Mary because that which is in her is "of the Holy Ghost." Today, I'm sensing you might miss the honour God wants to do you if you're not let into what His plans have been and is. If Joseph had not been convinced by the Lord to take Mary by telling him the origin of her pregnancy, Joseph would have successfully detached from Mary let alone take her as his wife. In so doing, Joseph would not enter into the annals of history as Jesus' step father who supported and prepared a room for Him to grow in on earth. He'll also not witness what it means to have a special, unique and Saviour of the world as child under his custody. I believe Jesus did so many signs at home that only the parents would have known about. If not, Mary wouldn't meet Jesus afore His first miracle in John 2 to help the couples because they have no wine. If they have no wine, they obviously know where to buy but what was Mary believing for? A miracle, an intervention. She must have seen enough of that at home to have been assured. No one comes out daring the mighty if there has not been any secret testimony or record afore time. I therefore found out that there's nothing God is doing above that He doesn't need the partnering of men for below. God, this is my own cry. What package have you secretly wroth somewhere that I don't know about? The package that should delight me and bring me into reference with heaven and earth, may it not be the one I'll be infuriated at. May I not have missed it before coming to the knowledge of your honour and plan to include me in something great You have planned dating thousands of years back which are now beginning to unfold in my own time and day. 

People of God, Joseph almost missed being Jesus' step father. He almost. Another would have been even if after that angel's persuasion Joseph was too jealous to see reasons. If he had not believed that Mary's pregnancy was Holy Spirit's wroth, it would have been to his undoing. While the birth of Jesus gave us an introduction of Jesus as sacrifice for humanity and yet provided us with many hallmarks beliefs in Christianity, yet I'll like to say, "unreasonable things might happen in your day around you, rather learn why and from where as to know which to join and not detach from." Our Saviour was born today, as we recline in this great tiding of great joy, may every broken bones in you receive joy. May your valleys and every area of depression be exalted. May your joy be full by the provision of what can bring your joy to fullness. Hearing Jesus' birth, there was cause for happiness, celebration and pilgrimage. You're the next to be celebrated and visited for confirmation of the miraculous God will do and has done. God has spoken and it's so. 

PRAYER: Let me experience the commemoration of today  henceforth. Find me worthy to partner with on Your great acts on earth.

HOW LONG WILL YE LIMP BETWEEN TWO OPTIONS? - His Pleasure Series 024

I Kings 18:21, KJV

"And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him..."

Yesterday, God came to do a quick and thorough job of clearing you of all uncleanliness and anything (trait or material) that may give a foothold to Satanic assault of your life or home. I once read a foreign author who wrote on purging your tree and cleaning your house. In there, he narrated how a fellow had gone to buy an art work supposedly a natural work but which he didn't know had to do previously with a shrine or an idol. He never knew why he was experiencing all sorts of assaults until through prophetic insight and instruction, he was made to take it off. After then, peace be calm. You must quickly know that Satan operates like a lizard who can't enter into the wall or the house itself unless there's a crack (an opening) first of all. So, check if your life and house is clean. Hope there's no artefact, image/picture, book, object that has to do with pornography, the occult, shrine, idol etc with you. I once visited an ancient tourism site and town settled on a rocky mountain in a country. It was my church denomination who took the youths there and that was while I was in secondary school. I brought back one of the stones in a river on that mountain just to build my museum and keep the memory alive that I once visited XYZ Hills. It was in my house until one day I just had an attraction and conviction to let it go. So, I threw it away. Though I couldn't pinpoint the reason for which I was convinced to let it go or speak authoritatively that it has become a foothold (since I've not been having any strange experiences), yet I have learnt that objects, even a piece of furniture or artefact could be a leverage for a demon to harass you. Why? That property is dedicated to an idol and so that demon could go into operation even in your own house. They'll claim it's their thing and that they're in mutual association. Having said this, I should warn you to mind the music you as well harbour or listen to. All these were seriously flogged yesterday as God instructed that you should clear yourself of all your "curious arts books (as depicted by the Ephesians in Acts 19:18-19) and deeds of ungodliness (as depicted by Zacheaus in Luke 19:8)." Until then, you can't receive the testimony of Zacchaeus that, "today has salvation come into your house."

Meanwhile, God is saying I should take it further. He's persuading me about those who are still in doubt and are still lingering to act on the meat (teaching) God descended down to us yesterday with a cry, "rise, kill and eat (Acts 10:13)." Despite the cry to act on that teaching however, some remain unmoved but rather contemplate acting. Why harden your heart? God is saying I should ask you in Elijah's words, "how long will you limp between two options?" You've been thinking of repenting: stopping sinful life, deleting all those pornographic contents and keeping clean yet you're thinking they're too precious and that you might need them sooner or later for stimulation. You don't want to let go of your sorcery, magic, witchcraft, fornication, uncleanliness yet you want to have and hold to a part in God. God is saying, "it can't work." You'll have to decide, make a choice of which to go and be home with. God hates what does not belong clearly somewhere. He hates what's neither hot nor cold. He always reject them (Rev.3:15-16).

When the Ephesians were confronted with the Word, they didn't limp between two options. Rather, they were prompt. The feedback was, "and many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds. Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver (Acts 19:18-19). Did you see how instantaneously they acted under convinction because they didn't harden their hearts? It was an immediate response as they didn't allow any carry over but rather allowed themselves to be touched at heart. Zacchaeus is a man who also didn't limp between two options. He had been in falsehood and had falsely accused and robbed people of their substance. But when he was convicted, it shows immediately in the kind of fruits that meet with repentance that he begins to bring forth. Without being coerced or having being sermonized, he said before Jesus and all other witnesses at the table, "behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold (Luke 19:8, KJV)." These words show he's ready to walk out his salvation with fear and trembling, showing also he's not ready to boast and rely on the vain words of "I have Abraham as my father (Matt.3:8-9). Did you see the mile he was willing to go to be vindicated? Willing to give four fold to fulfill all righteousness and be justified even in the sight and estimation of a strong accuser who may want to shame his salvation experience later. The same happened to the Ephesians. What they gave up worth it. It was just too huge, valuable and indescribable. The materials burnt is valued to be several million dollars. For Christ's sake, that money will build a  church or fund an international crusade successfully. Imagine that! Look at the miles and things they were all willing to give up just to gain Christ. No wonder, even Paul the apostle also said, "he counted all things loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ..." He called it all "dung (Phil.3:8). So, why are you still debating in yourself to be retained in your old way or come to Christ? Look, if the Lord be God, follow Him and if be Baal (Satan and all unrighteousness), follow it. Life and death is before you. Make your choice. There's nothing you give though costly, painful that should pain you as such. Some have given theirs and much more already. Find encouragement in that. Even in your giving up, there's a new find - even a worthwhile find (Jesus Himself). May it be that you'll close your eyes, take this personal decision to repent, rid yourself of sin and clean yourself and house of all footholds of the devil. 

PRAYER: I cut off and separate from all uncleanliness and unrighteousness. I shall not be a fake or false Christian. I'm purged and I'm clean.

WHEN WILL SALVATION COME INTO YOUR HOUSE? - His Pleasure Series 023

Read Luke 19:1-10

Acts 19:19, KJV

"Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver."

This teaching was ministered to me as I and my beloved travailed in prayer. I've worn out all the fine wines God had afore given me and now have to rely on Him for what next He'll desire me prophesy or else pack off this series. We were singing repeatedly, "we've made a room for You; Holy Spirit, come and be enthroned." At a snap of a finger or what you'll describe as the speed of light or let's say instantaneously, there was a spark and then I saw two verses with different stories to tell floating to me. I therefore praised the Lord who gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater. Hallelujah!

The Spirit told me, "to make a room for the Lord, they took out and took away their books of curious art and burnt them all." They didn't throw it away or give it to others to excuse themselves of not using it any longer. Rather, it was burnt (to be consumed and no longer available to be ever interacted with). Do you know what "books of curious arts" are? These are not books used in Humanities or Art Department. They're rather magical, fascinating and enchanting sorcery or spell books. They are where knowledge of satanic and occultic things are deeply seated and kept for their users to tap into at will. This is what these people have as their library. As in, demons were living on the pages of books. These are books that you could call forth an action from by just reciting or saying some words and before you know it, a whole human being could be suspended in the air or smoke could be created to confuse. These are books that if a pot get broken, only the saying of something will bring the entire pot of clay, steel, wood etc back to wholeness and what it used to be, so much more that it could be used to fetch water again. These are books that make the enchanter (a magician) beguile humans yet they won't resist him. Many have used such powers to win lovers, contracts and cases though it's lesser to God's. What a mystery! What a power though evil power! However, there came a day that these books possessors and handlers gave them up. What a treasure they're yielding up because of Christ, just because of Christ (a greater find)! It was that day, salvation could be described to have come into their houses. And if you'll remember, Jesus said the same of a particular man - a man who turned a new leaf almost out of the blues or what you'll call the effortlessness of no man - though we knew he must have been convicted through Jesus and His ministry. Who's that man and what conversation ensued to learn from. 

Luke 19:8-9, KJV

"8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. 9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham."

Did you read, "this day is salvation come to this house" as said by Jesus Himself of Zacchaeus. But did Jesus just say, "today is salvation come to your house" without any afore trigger? No! How did we know? Afore time, Zacchaeus had come to the realization of what was not right that he should give up and restitute. And so he did. It was after Jesus saw this profession, act, involvement and commitment which befits only a new life or the born again fellow (who's willing to yield his unworthy life for the joy of gaining Christ) that Christ Himself says, "today is salvation come into this house - (or this life). That is bringing forth fruits which meet with repentance (Matt & Luke 3:8) and Christ wouldn't have acknowledged that if Zacheaus isn't worthy of it. And may I say a thing to you, I have a witness while writing this teaching that there are still many that salvation must enter their houses and lives today 21st of December, 2022. Meanwhile, today is 23rd Day on "His Pleasure Series" where we've being examining being the planting, called, ordained or sent of the Lord and not otherwise. I have a great leading that there be many that the Lord is calling unto to let go of their treasures of darkness (not physical wealth or prosperity) and everything they rely on and have been using as power as false ministers or sent ones. You're charlatans, thieves and robbers (John 10:1). That's what the Bible calls you. So, don't be offended but rather repent. It doesn't matter what it is called in your own language, whether it is jazz, voodoo, juju, God is saying give it all up and that includes "The Seven Book of Moses" that might have found its way into the hands of some of you ministers. "The Seven Book of Moses" is not the Bible and that's not what God says you should get involved in. Stop every intimacy, dabbling and communication with strange spirits and transporting demons. All these books teaching you the hows of spirit things apart from the Bible will open you to demons and false spirits. Kartegeo (cut them off).

When those people voluntarily packed out their sources of power which is estranged to what God endorses, obviously they received new life and consequently begin to be groomed in same. That's God's offer to you. God is telling me to ask you, "will you voluntarily submit and willingly use your hand to handover all your strange power, amulets, tally and charm to be burnt? Will you burn this library of wickedness and do away with all these ancient evil accounts passed down to you by your fathers? If you'll submit, hearken to God and not become rebellious like some in the wilderness (Heb.3:7-8), you'll earn the remark of the Lord which He said to Zacheaus - "today salvation has come into your house" and He shall likewise do to you like He did to Him. When Jesus told Zacheaus, "today, salvation has come into this house, it didn't end there." Rather, what Jesus said He'll do to anyone who receives Him into his or her life was immediately done. What did Jesus promise people like Zacheaus and what's that thing which He eventually did to them? "It's that He and His Father will come and make their abode with such person and live with him (John 14:23)! What a mystery and greater power? That Christ and His Father tabernacle and live with you. That's why I and other believing saints are powerful because Christ and His Father have made their dwelling with us. That's He that's greater than He that's in the world living in us and now with us. So, I can say, "I'm powerful and can do all things through Christ who strengthens (enables, inspires, inflates, quickens, elaborates, teaches, instructs and arms me). In this wise, tell me what mountain we can't unseat and what challenge of life we can't surmount? Are you reading this, quickly inspect your life, your library, your wardrobe, your treasure box, car, shop, house, office etc for anything strange that should be done away with. What are your own "books/materials of curious arts" that must be burnt? Things you hide in secrecy or hang somewhere. Until then, you'll just be there hearing people share stories of their own salvation. You'll never have one to share. Backslided believers should restitute also. If you've taken this step and you're also singing "I surrender all to Jesus", then you may take this prayer: "Father, thank you for forgiveness. I'm made your child and I'm henceforth victorious."

Now, I'll need to pray for your enduing with power: a greater power than the one you've contacted in satanic books, rocks, trees or things that specific parts of nature were used to make. Now, lay your hand on yourself and receive. As I pray, God's Spirit will rush at you, invade you like it was in the upper room and you shall be baptized in the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:1-4). You'll be steeped in God and He'll swallow and possess you henceforth.  "Father, You're the One who endued me with power to cause, set, change, build up and pluck down. I call you to anoint with the Holy Ghost the reader and that repentant fellow who's receiving this prayer. With the evident of speaking in tongues, let manifestation take place. Possess these former sinners and use them mightily." THE QUESTION THEY'RE ASKING: BY WHAT AND WHOSE AUTHORITY? - His Pleasure Series 022

Read Matt. 12:22-30

Matthew 21:23, KJV

"And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?"

If you see someone manifesting, someone doing the will or pleasure of the Father; someone doing what God gave, which they have accepted and swallowed hook, line and sinker; have personalized and have made their thing like Jesus says, "my meat is to do the will of He that sent me (John 4:34)", you should raise an alarm and quickly delight to know by what spirit (Holy or unholy), by whose authority and power they do the teachings, impartation, miracles and drag all the tangibilities that were once in the invisible realm to the site of eyes can see it.  

Meanwhile, in asking or wanting to know by whose authority, spirit or power they do what they do, you may take either of these two positions. The first is the position of asking to accuse, demean, mock, reject, cast away or slander because you've already formed your opinion and what you want to believe in. You're not asking to be converted! The Pharisees, Sadducees and the Sanhedrin all together took this position with Jesus many times. Whenever He does a thing, they're always at hand to query it. What you'll hear is "by what and whose authority do you do these things (that includes Jesus' teachings, healings, miracles and the gathering of multitude He has etc?" People like that meant Jesus should have visited them earlier, in secrecy or in the night to take their permission before He teaches and does all His good works in the day. They wanted Jesus to be submissive to humans and to them by always applying before fulfilling His calling. They want to treat Him like Saul who always need a letter from them and do apply for one before he goes around with the business of arresting those of the Way (Acts 9:2). But Jesus takes no authority from them. He takes no delegation or delivery of duties from man. He's rather Spirit taught and directed. Once, He was directed of the Spirit to the wilderness where He fasted forty days (Matt.4:1-2). His orders always come from above. Like Saul who later became Paul, He has learnt not to confer with flesh and blood but rather to depart often to the place of seclusion to pray, intimate with God and hear Him (Gal.1:17, Mark 1:35).

Once Jesus was teaching, they all marvelled obviously at all they've seen Him done but instead of glorifying God and believing in Jesus and His ministry, they diminished Him and ask in order to find Him out (as if He was an error and One operating in falsehood) by saying, "by what authority do thou these things and who gave thee this authority?" That question contains two questions apiece:

a. by what authority do you do these things?

b. and who gave you this authority. 

Many people have asked me those two questions as one also. I could remember the first time I began to say I was called; the very first time I launched out and said I've been anointed and that God had given me a voice to express and words to speak, the look on people's faces - that disbelief was asking, "by what authority will you do these things?" And when I began, people still queried by whose spirit or authority I do what I've been doing. It's nothing to be offended at though some just didn't believe me. But over the years, I've added diligence to make my calling and election sure and with God's witnessing to many hearts, I'm now believed to be a prophet in the land. People will ask you when they see the good works stemming from you by what spirit, authority or power you do them. That's not wrong in itself if it's not to reject, mock or validate a wrong opinion they already have of you though you're really the sent one and not some fake people. The Bible admonishes that we prove all things (I Thessalonians 5:21). Until then, we can't hold fast unto that which is good even if it's available and obvious. This is my counsel to anyone. Don't just receive someone or accept their utterance. That's truth! Prove the spirit by which they're speaking, teaching or prophesying. Test all things and hold unto that which is good and true only. The second group are therefore those asking genuinely as to know the good and truth to hold unto. Those are the people the Father will reveal His beloved son (in the anointed) called by Him to. Those are the people that after getting their answers won't be offended by that anointed man or his works but rather flow to receive God's mighty works through him. 

By what power do we all ministers do these things? Let us ask, "Olusola ADEJUMO M'Wings, by what power he preaches, teaches, prophesies, heals and do miracles?" My answer is by the anointing or you best say the Holy Spirit. I'm a commissioned man. I did not begin my thing calling it God's. He called me by making certain demands on me. Yielding is what makes you see some of the works like this teaching you're currently reading. What makes any minister a charlatan or falsehood is that all the works stemming from Him are not originating from the Holy Spirit. "Who gives you the authority you're using for ministry and ministration is key." Is it God or the devil? That's what they wrongly accused Jesus of here:

Matthew 12:22-24, KJV

"22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. 23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David? 24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils."

Did you see that? What some saw and rejoiced to; when it came to the Pharisees' turn, they didn't give glory to God. They diminished and destroyed God's' work by saying He casts out devils and does healings/miracles by Beelzebub (the Lord of the flies). That accusation sounds familiar. There are those who sees great and mighty works today and say, "he has subscribed to the occult" and you can't persuade them out of that error because to them, it's everybody who's wealthy that has gone where it consequently adds sorrows before they have it. Obviously, the Pharisees speak many times out of envy and jealousy and so many accusing those God has sent truly in our days. Don't feel bypassed. Rather submit to what God is doing and you'll find your place too. 

If you build a church and it's bigger than Lagos and God doesn't inspire it, it's dead work. If you're prophesying and God is not the inspirer, you should know it's either your fallen state as human speaking or the spirit of error speaking through you as you've yielded your vessel to the devil or demons to hijack. I ask you ministers, I'm putting it to all of you who have a thing to do with ministry, "by what authority and whose authority, power, spirit do you do all that's visible that all of us could see." You may have miracles but it may not be the workings of the Holy Spirit. You might have gone to request for assistance elsewhere indeed other than leaning on the Spirit of truth and great grace. We shouldn't forget that the Magicians turned rods into snakes  just like Aaron but where lies the different (Gen.7:11-12)? In the fact that one stems from God and the other Satan, the occult and falsehood. Where do you belong ministers? Be truthful to yourself. Operate in Spirit and in truth. Be of one mind with Christ. Be aligned and only led in the paths of righteousness. Naked yourself before God naked you and do away with all unclean things in your life. Come under God's great grace that picks a man from nothing and puts him on the hill where all eyes could see him. He's still the God who raises the poor man from the dunghill and makes him sit with princes yet without having solicited from the devil.

PRAYER: Lord, may You be Lord over me indeed. May my acts, procedures all proceed from you. Wash me clean, refresh me. I rededicate myself to You.

FORCED RISING - His Pleasure Series 021

Acts 5:36-37, KJV 

"36 For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought. 37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed."

There's a thing like "forced rising." It's when you try to force or scheme your way to prominence. What have I found out about calling? If you're called, it's a matter of the soul longing to do some things or live in certain ways. If you're called and your time has been fulfilled to rise, you'll always and constantly have a pull of heart towards doing some things. If you're called, you may begin to have heart pulls at a certain age to act somehow. You'll just be distinguished. Moses was a deliverer and he visited his people, saw their oppression and began to deliver them. But, was the time and the method right? No! (Exodus 2:11). You may even be like Samson who God is rather stirring either in music, teaching, healing etc ministries. You know, you're just like an eaglet that the mother is training to fly. You're just beginning to develop in that sphere, learnt it and operate in it (Judges 13:25). The doing of those things are platforms to manifesting your calling and doing them is what could bring you satisfaction or fulfilment. Let's assume you're called to sing, you may be thinking towards organizing and having occasional concerts etc. As people attend and as you minister, as you see the will of God done, you're relieved at heart to see yourself discharging the burden that eternity has placed there. This one isn't therefore forced rising. It's God who solely places a desire in your soul, makes same persistent and draws your heart after its being done instantaneously or sooner. So, at doing it, if you ever get any recognition afterwards, it won't be you pushing yourself to prominence but God revealing you to the people, the body of Christ or nations. Because of the joy of touching lives, your focus won't even be on the accolades being showered you. 

But that's not the same process Theudas and Judas of Galilee took to recognition or fame. They forced their way to be known and if you'll remember, Jesus had once told us that he who doesn't pass through the door is a thief (John 10:1). Anyone who breaks processes of doing things and also bypasses the protocols or officers monitoring compliance of that thing (in this case the Holy Spirit) is a fraudster, counterfeit, scammer charlatan and a thief. Only he who passes through the door is recognized and endorsed by God. So, let me ask you, "have you been scheming or making yourself seen" or the time for your revealing to Israel is here? If you read those two verses above, you'll read a thing like, "for before these days rose Theudas boasting himself to be somebody" and "after this man rose up Theudas and drew much people after him."

Mark, "and drew much people after him" and you'll see an ingredient of unacceptability in that statement. He did it by force. He wanted to be noticed and so he like Theudas began to boast himself to be somebody. Who boasts himself to be somebody? It is he who God has not called that says he's called. It's he who God has not anointed who feigns to be anointed. It is he who God has not gifted nor sent on an errand who manifests like he was commissioned. These are the children of Sceva who feigns being born again, called, anointed and uses the name of Jesus to work (Acts 19:13-16). They'll soon be revealed. They once mused on John, "are you the Messiah we've been awaiting?" He could have pretended he was. He could have boasted himself to be that greater person - the One all gazes are expecting and would soon be turned to after identification but he confessed, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness and one "not worthy to unloose His shoe latchet..." (Lk 3:15-17). He didn't take that honour upon himself because God didn't accord him. What will kill a lot of people is trying to take the honour, do the work or enter into offices God didn't allocate them. The moment you do that, you immediately become fake because you begin to do what you're not destined, equipped or called to. You're therefore a zero who boasts himself like Theudas to be somebody in a placement God didn't place him. Aren't you false? Imagine Theudas promising he'll part the Jordan for all his followers and that they should follow. When did he become Moses or Joshua? Who gave him the parting anointing? Who anointed him for that? Who called him into that and what purpose was in heaven's heart to accomplish if they ever called him to part Jordan? Just nothing. This man came on his own. When people are asked, "in whose name have you come", charlatans like Theudas don't have God to point to? Even if they reference God, it's in pretense. That's why I say, "avoid any forced rising." Rather, watch your soul for the ticking time. If the fullness of time has come to launch or rise, you'll do so in the strength of the Lord God of Israel and you shall go from glory to glory. The desire to be seen or felt might allude to your being called but ensure you're not strayed into doing things that God didn't ordain should substitute or satisfy those desires. Rather, wait for eternity to satisfy the call deep down in you. 

PRAYER: Lord, help me relieve this burden by helping me to fulfill it. May I not stray and look for satisfaction elsewhere. I shall not be false.

OUT OF THE MOUTH OF TWO OR MORE WITNESSES - His Pleasure Series 020

Acts 5:36-37, KJV

"36 For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought. 37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed."

It is established. It can't be broken. This is a tested principle and I assure you, it will come back in cycle. If any man is caught in the violation of what should be adhered to, he should fear and repent. If you're operating a false setup in the name of Jesus, you can't go too far before you'll be fetched out. The reason is simple. Some did ahead you and didn't escape it. They were found out. If we have more than an instance, how will yours be different? Gamaliel told the council to refrain from the disciples. He said, "if this counsel or work be of men, it will come to nought but if it be of God, ye can't overthrow it; lest haply ye be found to fight against God (38-39). Those were the words of Gamaliel but did Gamaliel just speak without texts to quote, a foundation to build on or witnesses to give? No! He had said ahead of time that two rebel revolutionists had risen who sought to change the tide and act according to the spirit of their age but they were both dispossessed and eliminated. From these two historical landmarks, Gamaliel is saying that the apostles should be let alone. It is out of the mouths of two or more witnesses every matter will be confirmed and we have two witnesses in this case (Matt. 18:16). That's a sure and trustworthy word that the apostles' new cause (in that they're preaching Christ) will be brought to nought if it isn't God's initiation and cause. 

It happens to Theudas and it happens to Judas of Galilee. This law of life caught up with the falsehood they have set up and were calling men to. If that be the case, "let us let this new cause face the same fate. We have no reason to fear or get intimidated, this new cause shall be let alone to pass through the test of genuineness. If it's of God, it shall persist; if it's not, it'll fold up. Did any of us go after Theudas or Judas, yet the Roman government got them? Let them alone also and let's watch where their cause will end it." All these were the interpretations of what Gamaliel was saying that day. 

But Gamaliel said that having seen how two at least of such revolutions ended. It was first whirling like the whirlwind but came to rest to the shock of all and was discontinued. Imagine what was the rave and talk of the town being suddenly disrupted and abruptly still. If it happened to them, it could happen to this new cause (of preaching Christ) if it's not genuine or any other false set-up. Let's leave it to this test therefore as no matter how wise they are, they can't escape that natural death if it's men's. It will rather dwindle until it's totally erased down. 

Evidences assure us the more and that's what wise Master Gamaliel presented to the council. He just didn't speak or persuade, he gave instances of two pre groups who once were colossus but are now nowhere to be found. As such, they (the council) could trust the process that the apostles also would be shut up if they've come up with falsehood. May I also announce to anyone who's there not to fight anything that's just rising and trying to find it's foot. We already have many instances of those who began and were ended and those who began and flourished. One of these instances would be the fate of what any man begins and that's the necessary prove if it be of men or God's. 

PRAYER: My testimony is not myself, therefore I shall continue at all seasons. Lord, melt away falsehood from the body of Christ.

AS TO BE A CO-RULER - His Pleasure Series 019

Read Luke 23:39-43

Luke 23:42-43, KJV  

"42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise."

This is another reason why people join a revolution: good or evil, a new cause or a tide. They foresee being promoted as it rises for their sacrifices. They either become a shareholder or its manager. While on the cross, while Jesus was dying, a man identified with Jesus and became immediately promoted and exalted into paradise. Though he was coming late but because he identified with Jesus at a critical time he was fighting for life and at a time when he was to lay the foundation of what our faith would stand on, he was rewarded. When Jesus needed comfort and compassion, the man showed Him. So, he's worthy of being rewarded for that identification at a time of need. Jesus said:

Luke 23:43, KJV

"Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise."

If you're now part of a new cause and you ever start with them, it becomes fit to have you as a major shareholder of such institution. After the demise of Judas Iscariot, an opening is to be filled. One of the criteria is that the occupant or aspirer must be one who has witnessed all in and out.

Acts 1:21-22, KJV

"21 Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, 22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection."

After a great search through the rank, only two people were found to have met the requirements. One is Mathias and the other, Justus otherwise known as Barsabas or Joseph. You see, it's not against good conduct to have promoted those who have been with you since to a greater estate. You may want to ask, "who has been with us all this while? Who understands the inner workings of the system than any?" It's not even against the Bible to do same in the house of God, only that you may need to confirm that choice in prayer again.

So far, we've seen again that it's possible for rebels, revolts, charlatans etc to find a new cause also to rise with in order to be a voice there or a very part of that thing. This is a way of promoting themselves into leadership but if you're ever such kind of person who's naturally thinking of using this means to abscond into leadership and hurt God's purpose and plan, you might have successfully bypassed the ranks of all officers and processes but God can still fetch you out and bypass you to choosing he who is right in His own sight. If out of two that met the qualification for apostleship, God could still choose one having weighed who best fit (though we were never told His later criteria for that), then we do know God could sieve you away if you aren't the choice amidst many choices. That's why many  will refute the leadership that God is putting over them especially if they deem such person an interloper or intruder. If he were a junior officer; their argument would be, "but he met us here." They might not be angry or that opposing if the fellow were their senior in enrolment. I could remember the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God sharing some of the refutations he endured when he was handed over to as the next denominational leader. What then become of those ones he met? They should keep their posts. God has a reason for making a choice of who He has chosen. If it's God who has chosen him indeed, don't criticize it. Rather, submit, flow with it and find your assignment and place in the new reign. Even if you never were promoted to a place of great influence, keep serving the Lord. He's the rewarder of they who diligently serves Him. As we go this week, may we remember that no one can successfully plot his way to the top except the Lord ordains it: not even those who join from the foundation in order to rise with it. 

PRAYER: Lord, let Your will become my manifestation. I'm joined to You and I'm nourished for same.

THOSE WITH A VISION OF A TOWER THAT THE LORD DIDN'T ORDAIN - His Pleasure Series 018

Read Genesis 11:1-9

Genesis 11:4, KJV

"And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth."

One of the things you'll see about charlatans is that they'll seek to prove they have a high calling. This is what leads Theudas to the boast of great things and the saying that he's somebody. Here, we find some antagonists of God and His will (in that they want to build Babel - which directly means rebellion against God) come together with a vision of greatness that the hands of the Lord didn't cut for them. Of their own counsel, vision, prudence have they decided and deduced that they should build an amazement to every sight. So, what did they decide on? 

"Let us build us a city and a tower..."

Their vision is gigantic in what they wanted to build. It's a gigantic civilization and urban work - a city. Also, they didn't say a bungalow or a duplex. They said a "tower." Do you know what a tower is? It means a very high or exalted building. It's one whose top always reaches height upon height. This is where they'll be headquartered. The centre of their lust and craving for a civilization which holds them all together. Meanwhile, mind the use of language in that verse. It's, "come, let us build us..." It is these humans who have a thing to build and it's themselves they're building for. In a God given vision, God has something to build for a people or generation and so calls a man and gives him a mandate/patterns on same. The ark (ship and the one harbouring the testimony) were not Noah's or Moses' visions nor did they originate what to build or its patterns (Gen.6:13-16, Exodus 25). God gave and inspired all. But once you see falsehood in action, it's plainly human or occultic.

Also, they say, "One whose top reach the heavens."

If the top of something reaches the heaven or the very apogee of the sky as the limit of man would allow, it means these people are bearing dominionship in their consciousness. What are they doing? "Since we've built a building whose height reaches the heaven; one, it will be visible for all eyes to see and for them to praise." It will become an attractive centre, a visiting site. Now, you're beginning to conceptualize what vain glory they desired. No called man heeds the calling for this vain glory of making a name for Himself. Fame is His Master's to decide. His was just to fulfill purpose and He'll have satisfied the pleasure of his Master. God has fame to give but it's not a constant A for all His labourers neither should any heed the call for selfish reasons of making name for oneself, catering for one's needs or having the respect of men etc.

Two, their building - a tower will show their colonization of the earth. It will show where they're ruling from and as far as we all know, it is he who rules the mountain that rules the valley. 

This building in will therefore opposes God and so is plucked down. God rather spreads humanity instead of having them contained. If you don't want a conflict of will with God, never do anything in contrast with what He has said, is saying or will say. If you can know them all per time, you'll excel and will build to the very height they were stopped from building to. That's if it's the Lord's. No vision is too tall. If God inspires it, you'll achieve it. 

PRAYER: I have sight from your sight. May my deeds proceed from Thee to see the light of the day. May the voice, "stop work" not thunder at me. I build till dawn.

THE HUNGER TO BE ACKNOWLEDGED FOR CHANGING THE TIDE 

Read II Sam. 15

There's a feel or accomplishment that goes with being praised for being in the new system that has caused the long desired change. However, be careful that you do not perish in gaining recognition that the Lord is not giving by thinking you can rise on the arm of flesh. This reason is why some join a revolution. This is why they join a moving ship. They want history to remember them to have been the initiates of what changed the course. Now, be careful not to gather without the Lord. Psalm 2 should shiver you out of any gathering that's not in consonance with God's will in heaven and on earth. Such gathering may be an attempt to resist God and His will. If that be, you'll be fought and then meet strong resistance.

Desiring recognition will get some people killed we know. Being contented is rather a great possession until you're called out. I'm sure that many who joined Theudas and Judas did for the sake of being known. Many of these people would be afore purposeless and of the group craving for presence and life recognition etc. Some might even have risen to becoming great in rank with these two revolutionists and rebel leaders. They'll all think they're fighting for a right cause which they're totally sold out to like Saul of Tarsus. Any rising, gathering that's not of the Lord is bound to meet God and be broken however. When a government has stayed long in power for instance, a revolution is imminent. Libya experienced same. It wasn't that Gadaffi wasn't good but they only desired fresh air. So, when many internally discontented people had their opportunity as provided them by external intruders, they murdered their "author of life." Today, Libya is in tatters, reproach and set back. Some might have joined the revolution in order to gain attention for ushering in the fresh air that'll consequently lead to the fresh breath long desired. Either a successful or an unsuccessful coup, many join to be privileged to be an initiate of a new system and be acknowledged for same. Yet, there can't be change of tide except it's the Lord's will. Human government is a product of God's institution and they bear rule on His behalf (Rom. 13:1-4). Why won't God be interested in his political representatives on earth? Just like I and all other ministers will give account of our services, so will all politicians give simply because they bear rule on behalf of God to punish the offenders and reward the righteous. 

As a Christian, you should not desire any recognition to your destruction especially when the Lord doesn't will it. All Absaloms who plan a take over shall go into extinction (II Sam. 15:4). While founding fathers or pioneers always have much honour attributed to them like none other yet if God has not called you as one, don't dare take the honour upon you. Or else, your comparing yourself with the called will not be wise. Your imprudence will manifest when the cause and the tide you have followed come to nought. No one learnt this on time until the population is broken, adherents scattered and no dream is fulfilled. Let their names be etched in gold, let these rebel revolutionists have themselves deified, let them control a whole nation; don't let that instigate you into going into what God is not causing. Only those He called He'll glorify. 

PRAYER: May the shadow of fame and pursuit of fame not take me off my real time of rising and manifestation. May I be men of Issachar in understanding time.

THEY PROVIDE PEOPLE WITH A FALSE BELIEF AND DESTINATION

Read Acts 5:34-39

"For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought."

Any false minister does this. They act like the authentic would by providing people with a sense of purpose and destination but theirs is false. A false revolutionist, charlatan, rebel, rabble rouser, intruder has this as his attribute. "Who will follow you if there's no promise or destination you're calling them to?" This is why there are many fake and false ministers nowadays. They give people a false sense of hope: just a tingling, sweet sensation or tickling of their fancy. "Give them something to believe: something eternal, divine and out of this world. This will make them think and believe you're authentic. Same would even make you look like a saint or an ancient prophet of old and it would lend credence to you and your work in their sight." This is what many pseudo ministers and charlatans are operating with. They are ravenous wolves on the inside but they tend to have the outlook of a sheep on the outside. Their end has been predicted - destruction! Undiscerned however, they draw multitude after themselves like Theudas who drew four hundred to himself!

St. Luke, the writer of the Acts of the Apostles clearly places Theudas before Judas (Acts 5:36-37). But there's discrepancy in the fact that the only Theudas known to us to be a prophet, false teacher and rebel exists in the reign of Claudius in the year 44,45. According to Josephus, Theudas told his followers to pack all their goods and follow him to River Jordan. He said he would miraculously afford them a passage. However, the Roman procurator: Cuspius Fadus sent a troop of horse to meet him. While some of his followers were slain, others taken prisoners or scattered, he himself was beheaded and his head sent to Jerusalem. God was never with this man yet look at what he was promising. He was making himself somebody that has a divine destiny to fulfill and is fully sanctioned by God to be followed by many. This pretender looked so to many people and in St. Luke's account as recorded in Acts, we have an exact number of people he swayed with his falsity. You might say, "why were they so gullible? Four hundred of them? Aren't a thinker therein?" Then I should ask why we're being swayed and pranked by quick rich schemes that promise us great return on our money. They look big and well established. Many would even have Registration Numbers and sites. They might even partner with a popular bank but at the end, they'll crash and your money will be gone. You didn't see their end because you were too absorbed in the front they pushed forward.  The pseudo always give their adherents a thing to believe also. They'll pump them with a sense of "we're on a journey to Canaan (destination)" and this is what they'll forever nurse until the founder or promiser dies. Since they're not from God or His Son: who enforces the will after His death, how could they have a share in the reality and blessings of saints (Heb.9:16-17). Knowing they've been excluded this way from all heavenly blessings, they concoction false beliefs, destination and blessings for people. If this falsity goes on into the next generation, it might become a religion or a great cause that people associate with worldwide. That's why you shouldn't be afraid of such falsity's growth because God has promised to make a separation between the wheat and the tares at the harvest. But be assured, their end has been prophesied. It is "the ungodly shall not stand in the judgement nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous (Psalm 1:4-6).

PRAYER: Lord, we pray for the ignorant and charlatans who intentionally operate a fake/false calling or ministry, may they be convicted. Prevent all of us from error. May we not violate our conscience.

THEY NEED A LARGE FOLLOWING

Acts 5:36-37, KJV

"36 For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought. 37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed."

Brethren, there's a level of boldness and confidence you have when you know how many people and what status support you on a cause. You'll suddenly become inflated and strengthened. Some long years ago, back when kingdoms still reign and the power of life and death resides with the monarchy, only kings, warlords and some nobles have such attention and attentive ears of many followers. Power therefore was retained and lodged in their custody. Today, because of the Social Media and the Internet, this power has been dislodged and distributed all over the world even to the most ordinary of men who would dare to rise with something new to impress or win natural men to following. Immediately, you'll see people give their obedience even if all he feeds them with are pornographic and sensual tastes. If you want to test how powerful such mundane fellow has become, criticize him and see how many of his followers will pick on you. This online war might even be taken on ground and you'll see massive crowd protest even against the government because of one person taken in. There's power in number.  God had to strengthen Israel on many occasions not to be afraid of numbers and not trust in same (II Chronicles 20:1-22, I Chronicles 21:1-7)

So, a rabble rouser can't but feel powerless if he is isolated and it's known to him that he's alone. I once watched a political movie where an opposer of a dictatorial government was locked up. Because he was still alive and same is known, he rose thousands of protesters across the country and in all squares. The military intelligence advised the president to have him executed once and for all so that any aftermath would be dealt with instantaneously and that the followers' hope might be quenched. Even if you jail a rabble rouser without stamping him out, you may not know peace. The remedy is that he must be totally silenced. 

Look at Theudas, about 400 men were loyal to him. Why won't he feel like somebody destined for power and to be heard more and more? Consider Judas, many more submitted to him, why won't he feel secure in the midst of such huge population and begin to believe in the self deceptive cause he began and that it was real? He was said to have, "drew away much people after him." "Drew away" means to collect wrongly or illegally. The same thing the dragon did in Revelation 12:4, "and his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth:" You see, rebellion survives more with much following. And if you don't know, people feel secured joining a big factor or cause. They believe it can protect them and even sway people's opinions. But if you have the number and yet you're not of God, you shall be scattered. For Theudas and Judas to survive, they do on the involvement of others they shout their slogans to and who reply in enthusiasm but the Roman military stamped them out, killed both of them with some of their followers while others were scattered. This is what Gamaliel was saying they should leave the latest cause of "preaching Christ" to meet. He said, "if it's of men, it shall come to nought but if it's of God, it can't be overthrown lest you're even found guilty fighting against God (Acts 5:38-39). Theudas' and Judas' moves were broken because they were not God's cause. If any foundation is not hosted to this anchor, it can't survive the coming rage. It'll be tested and it can't but be consumed. So, it's still not the many population of a cause that'll prevent it from being broken vice versa. It's solely, "if it's God's."  God do give authentic people population as followers as well but He never and they should never make it the source of their strength. I ask, "in who lies your strength, God or your congregation/many followers?"

PRAYER: Lord, may I not be deceived by the multitude of followers and hailers. May You be my Origin and Source of strength.

CHARACTERISTICS OF RABBLE ROUSERS - His Pleasure Series 013

Acts 5:37, KJV  

"After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed."

Before we overturn to the characteristics of rabble rousers, it pleases me to have you let into who a rabble rouser is. He is a stirrer of trouble, a creator of one and a breaker and disturber of peace and tranquility. He's a breaker of law and rejoices in the free reign and rule of anarchy - a state of lawlessness. They thrive on this so that they might afford their followers the privilege to loot, steal, kill and destroy. Every leadership starting from the family setup must be careful of rabble rousers. Who's the one who often or is almost causing a rift between you and your spouse? Identify same and come in agreement and terms on him or her. There are things one must not treat with levity so that the centre could hold; so that one could have praise of God as an Abraham who will command his household and children after him (Gen.18:19). This is why there's a general perception from my campus days that I'm a hard leader, difficult to please and one who won't settle for less. I called people to the highest standard of God for them though they were inconvenienced. It may be this bitterness of training and discipline to their souls that might have made some resist me and vomit me as one who stresses too much. But for those who submitted, they're testimonies themselves. I didn't allow the disorder of the system. I stood as anointed or called to affirm, bore the sword concentrated in my hands and ensured there was compliance to all that God is well pleased with. If after doing all these, I became your enemy because I didn't allow you to flower in disorganization and flattery disobedience, God is the One we both and all have to do with. Therefore, these are the characteristics of a rabble rouser: the Theudases and Judases. 

1. They have leadership giftedness or charisma

There's no head of a revolution who lacks charisma. There's something about charisma, it is charm and you rarely see the human world surviving it. That's why all of us collapse at the sight of stars, icons and those who perform the miraculous. They tend to awe us or strike us with something that we lack or don't have. In this way, we submit to them as God and swallow them hook, line and sinker. Why? They've charmed us and we can't but submit. What you must know is this: it is not wrong to submit, admire or be a follower of another. We all are. My Timothy has a Paul in ministry he follows as he also follows Christ. But, what belief does your mentor embrace and who is he is what we should question? If you follow what is not God's ordainment - one who doesn't caress God and His will daily, it will soon be revealed that you've succumbed to falsehood and so come to nought as said by Gamaliel and be punished with your model. That means, there's one leader not to follow. He who has charisma yet is not God's ordainment. How will you know? The Bible says, "your anointing teaches you all things (I John 2:27). You can't but have a witness concerning the fellow on your inside if you have the Holy Ghost. Over the years, I knew who to follow, listen to or collect from through that. While in 200 level when I got connected to my ministry father, it was a unity of spirit and soul and a great drawing and liking after who he is and what he says that proves he's the one. And as I follow, I was anointed by his anointing and begin to do his work. I began to be borne on his eagle wings: what he has researched and proved to work that I just absorb and welcome into my life. My ministry father teaches strongly in series. He once taught a series on "Following the Faith of Abraham" that lasted a year and entered into a new year. Yet, on radio. Same I am replicating not to talk of the gifts and his miracles that I do. And if Jesus tarries, "greater works than his I'll do" if I won't reward God and him badly but rather fulfill Jesus' words to His disciples at His departure (John 14:12).

You must also know that man is made to naturally submit or feel transported in front of what's greater than him. If a false minister shows charisma, he will naturally win some over (especially those without  discernment and yet lacking in Holy Ghost witnessing). This is because man is looking for a model, a teacher and is at the same time filled with aspirations to be part of something that's big, full of population or recognition at his time. Such things are usually commanded by charismatic people. Go from industry to industry and you'll see that natural leaders are easily marked out by charisma or giftedness. Since they naturally shine and draw attention, they'll easily have men attributed to themselves and if they be vain, vague, light, worldly, occultic or satanically possessed without the Anchor which holds the soul, they shall plunge themselves and whatsoever crowd they command into the abyss of destruction. The days are upon us. False ministers are on the increase but you have the anointing that teaches you all things so much more that you'll automatically have discernment on who to regard and follow vice versa. I John 2:20 also corroborates the first quote saying, "but ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things." If you're my Father's and many saints', you can't but be led like they are. Be careful of natural charisma that sways the natural man but which lacks the deep conviction of the Spirit. What is chaff to the wheat is the question this morning? One shall fade away. 

PRAYER: Lord, grant me discernment in the choice of who to follow or model after. Give me your ordainment and let my anointing teach me all things. Your leading is sure.

THE RABBLE ROUSERS - His Pleasure Series 012

Read Gen. 21:9-13

"36 For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought. 37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed."

In every system, there's the constitutionally recognized system or government and there's usually a faction led by a significant leader opposing this recognized government. That "recognized" as used there doesn't mean the constitutionally system itself is always God instituted but it means, "according to the law of that land or to others where they may be watching from", they believe power of the state is currently concentrated into a specific hand - and so that system with power gains acceptance and their backing while the other is jettisoned. That's why in matters of war, such external system will only send troops to support the system it firmly acknowledges as legal in order to crush its rival and the internal rabble rouser. Meanwhile, I am speaking in relation to a God set up, institution or cause that a fake or satanic cause seeks to topple. 

This illegal and ungodly cause is a rival and usually do become a great threat to the legal institution or setup. This is who Ishmael is becoming to Isaac before Sarah discerned it and have him sent away from the child of promise or line God has something to do with. Ishmael was mocking and trivializing the child of promise. When will contest of who the heir is or is superior or is the father's son not start? The matter displeased Abraham because Ishmael is also his son but God said Abraham should submit to it (Gen. 21:9-13). This morals what God will favour: what His will caused or what flesh/Satan brings to existence? Though God promised to make Ishmael great yet his measure of greatness is lesser than Isaac's because we know it isn't Ishmael God chose to pass the covenant blessing through. And if you look at it today, you'll see that there's still a rancour between what the Lord caused or has made (in the nation Israel stemming from Abraham to Isaac and then to Jacob) and the rabble rousers (the Arabs) stemming from Ishmael which Abraham caused in the flesh by not waiting for God's promise. Also, you could see the opposition between Christianity and Islam - stemming from these same two children of the same father.

There's always the rabble rouser or an illegal system that's the shadow or fake of the reality. What it has as plan is a takeover in order to fully substitute the will of God and what God has made. That's why God is committed to sending Ishmael away and committed to ensuring nothing fake or false overthrows what His own hands cut.  Even in our days, no legal government will allow terrorists and insurgency to substitute them or take over the country. The terrorists are good example of a cause or revolution that's illegal, marauding and anarchical that must be stopped. If not, the country might be turned upside down, government seized, those in power executed and peace disturbed. In some instances, countries could be steeped into wars and endless crisis because an illegal power holder grabs it by force. This is why when Theudas rose up with his doctrine and promises, the Roman military did not allow him to go miles with it. He was beheaded and killed with his followers while some of them were scattered. Beware of joining a losing cause. A cause that's only full of jangling with nothing profitable to come from it. Nothing profitable shall come from the Theudases' and Judases' causes because it's not the Lord's Made in the first instance. If God ordains it; if it is of God as said by Master and Elder Gamaliel, it can't be overthrown. Rather, any who oppose it will be found guilty opposing God. It is your duty to mark those whose heaven is pregnant but won't give rain. Never associate or join their cause. If you do, you'll be made an example like Theudas, Judas and their followers. God is jealous for you and is moving to protect you. May you forever know which rising to join and ones to abstain from. May you not fight a losing battle. May you have sight to see the end of things before they start. May your work not be broken. May you not found and fund what God would consider as mere jangling and creation of noise with the cymbals. May you be the man whom God rather resides with and starts a thing with. May you be that John from God (John 1:6). May your work, steps and origin be traceable to God and not flesh or the occult. I pray and counsel, be the man with the authentic calling, work and worth. Be preserved in hard times when you have the choice of choosing from alternatives that'll determine whether you live or you fold up.

PRAYER: Lord, give me understanding to discern causes, fellows, tools, rallies, campaigns not to join. In my journey of destiny, may you rather show my Philip that Ethiopian Eunuch to join while teaching my Nabal the disguised king in that distressed David to welcome.

THE RISE OF A REVOLUTION - His Pleasure Series 011

Acts 5:36, KJV

"For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought."

Today's teaching is the continuation of "His Pleasure Series" but it's also the beginning of a new move in the same series. We still have ten or more days to go from today in this new direction. I'll plead that you should follow. In every generation, there's always the promise or prophecy that people are waiting for. These promises or prophecies always have markers or time boundaries attached to them. There were prophecies that won't find fulfilment until a fellow is born, matures and even enter into his purpose of creation. If you consider John the Baptist, Jesus and even the virgin, later known as Mary that prophecy found fulfilment on, you'll agree that prophecy is attached to time and people. When it's time for a prophecy or promise to find fulfilment, the elements may disappear, something unusual as a sign may begin to happen. It may be the heavy oppression of a people. It may be the heavy corruption of a nation. All these are what would give birth to a renewal, wiping and cleanliness. For Israel in Egypt, when they drew near the promise, we were told that they grew in population massively (Acts 7:17). That sign answered to a thing which God had predicted would happen. It's a sign, symptom or marker of a prophecy. Only few would ever wonder and ask, "why this sudden explosive population?"

Who you must be is therefore to ever be in fellowship with the Holy spirit. He is the Spirit of sensitivity and awakening. There's nothing coming on the surface of the earth that He has not known and can't give you notice about. He told somebody not to get involved with that just man and every matters that will concern Jesus (Matt.27:19). In this way, you'll know what move to join and abstain from. The reason is simple, if you join yourself to a move, system, institution, parade, match, rally, cause that the Lord has not made, it will not only be vulnerable to destruction but if destruction comes on it, you may be punished with sinners and reap their rewards. Theudas was not only slain but many who bore affinity with him were and scattered. Just like there's a prophecy or promise for each generation, so is a revolution in every generation. This revolution is what key persons in that generation may surf on and rise to power with. They'll therefore become pioneers or a setter forth of a new era or doctrine that people will practice from that time henceforth. These are people who religions, denominations, systems, processes, a great cause, move could be associated with as they were the ones who spearheaded it or brought about the revolution. 

A revolution is a move and a great stirring up. You can't look at all physical signs to discern which move to join. This is why you must be in intimacy with the know it all Spirit so you won't pass on and be judged like the simple and so you won't refrain and miss the move that could have caused you to rise into headship in the new revolution or state of the nation. That's why I love the military. In coup de tat, they plan all the way before toppling an existing government. They know it's consequential being found out. So, they learn which system to topple and what time to topple it. Striking at the wrong time when all things are not perfect and without the fear of missing is danger. This is what a spiritual man must watch. You're watching not to miss a move as well as not to jump on a ride that you'll be destroyed with the multitude who couldn't read the sign that, "this is not the appointed move, time, person (to go with) or even tools to execute with." May you however say, "now is the day and today is the time." May what you've picked in your Spirit as a time to come eventually come. May it be that when it comes swiftly like a wind or ride, you'll be found sensitive and bold to join the move that can rouse you to the head. David was at home but Jesse perceived a time, a cause and a move and so sent him to battle. David didn't come back home empty ended. He came back home with a great name and a chieftaincy in the army. This is he that none would ever reaconwith as a soldier but when Goliath's head fell off, "they sang David had killed his ten thousand" even though it was just one (but a big one) he had killed (I Sam.18:7). I pray for you, you'll sense what's about to happen and you'll be moved to join a person, relocate to a place or affiliate with a system. You'll smell the move and time. You won't stay in Jerusalem at the time kings go forth to battle and you should lead the battle (being on the frontline of the cause; spearheading the move). May delegation that stained David not find you out. May you not sleep when you should be on the move. May you be above the spirit and debauchery of this age to understanding what the will of God is (because you're not drunken with wine which is debauchery). May the spirit of successful revolutionists possess and dominate you. May you not exercise forwardness where cautiousness should be primary.

PRAYER: This is the time of prophecy and promises, let the markers appear. What my spirit and soul were hovering to decode, may I find. I receive sensitivity to join the right chariot.

THOSE WE CAN NOT MALTREAT - His Pleasure Series 010

Acts 5:35, KJV

"And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men."

Apart from God's work that we should not maltreat, God's messengers shouldn't as well. Gamaliel not only warned "men of Israel" concerning the new cause gaining ground but warned them of its setter forth. He'd said, "men of Israel, take heed unto how you treat this men." I don't care how you treat the rest but you sure can't treat Mr or Mrs Ambassador anyhow. He has a system that you don't want to collide with behind him. While that system or network seems not on the scene yet it is real and ready to fight any who will hinder him to establish the mandate and will of that system that sent him out. All of us Christians are Christ's Ambassadors in that we're to fulfill the great commission. As God's sent out, protection is one of the things guaranteed us and that wouldn't have been promised if there's never need to anticipate one. Jesus said, "go and I'm with you till the end of the earth." That "I'm with you" worth more than millions of Kuwaiti Dinar if its revelation will ever dawn on you. It means He'll never leave you nor forsake you. It means He'll bless those who bless you and curse or oppose those who oppose you. In short, "I'll be your standby" is what Christ promised. Before you call, I will answer is what it means. It means He'll be near you at all times. If this be what a disciple or a minister stands to enjoy, then it is death to confront such a fellow. Why will his opposer won't be consumed seeing the opposed has not come in his own name but in the name of the Lord God of Host? Or did the disciples go out preaching in their own names? What were they rather warned not to speak of (Acts 5:28)? Jesus! If that be: if it be that they have Jesus as their Master who has now ascended and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, then it means He lives not only to intercede for we saints but also to be our standby as manifested in the Holy Ghost on the earth now. 

Jesus said in Matthew 10:42, "and whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward." Generally speaking, it means doing good to any sent one will attract rewards. If doing good will attract rewards, will opposing them be lightly treated or allow to slip?  No! That's why Jesus said that it will be tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah on that day  than for any who doesn't believe but rather oppose and resist them (Matt.10:15). You may maltreat anyone but please, don't maltreat anyone who's established to have been called and sent. If they've not breached the fence themselves as to be insulted or disregarded, God will show forth mightily on their behalf and even if they have left the jurisdiction of the anointed, still refrain. It's better not to trespass and let God judge all unfaithfulness than you being judged for any violation. Christians have an OWNER. All sent out ones and called ones have an OWNER. They have an Advocate who rivals their Adversary. Let this remembrance be in you which is now in those who are already found guilty so that you won't trespass. Rather reverently do the below (Matt.10:40-42) and you shall be blessed.

PRAYER: I receive caution not to misbehave and be judged. I harbour and do good to all sent ones.

FOUND TO FIGHT AGAINST GOD - His Pleasure Series 009

Acts 5:39, KJV

"But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God."

Why all of us should be weary of standing up against a thing we haven't established its origin is basically because by chance, it may be of God and if it's of God and you're caught still fighting it, you'll pay dearly for it. If you have ever experienced the terror of God, if He speaks once, you'll take heed seven times. Paul says, "knowing the terror of God, we persuade men (II Cor.5:11). There's none that has ever felt the displeasure of God who does not shiver when the Lord of host (Sabaoth) Himself visits him for warning. When Abimelech, the King of Gerar took Sarah, he knew God by experience and restore his wife. The terror of God hits him though it was in a dream (Gen.20:3-9).

Today's charge is, "lest you be found fighting against God." It is better to abstain from what you don't know its source because if it's from God and you stand against same, it will swallow you up. In essence, we'll also say God has a supervisory role to play over His kingdom. He knows what to allow or disallow. As it concerns revolutionists, He knows whether to shut them off or spare them. Let's leave judgement to God is the admonishment of Gamaliel. "If it's of men, it will come to nought but if it's of God, ye can't overthrow it; lest you be found guilty."

"Guilty" of what? Guilty of persecuting what's the Lord's. As far as we have evidences in the Bible, no one does it and escapes it. On the way to Damascus, Jesus appears to Saul and says, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" When he asked who that was, he was shocked hearing, "I am Jesus whom thou persecute.  It's hard for you to kick against the pricks (Acts 9:4-5). Did you read, "it's hard for you to fight against me and win?" There's no one who does it that's not found guilty. Part of the people God doesn't hold guiltless are the number who persecute and disallow His pleasure or will from prospering. Till then, we all know what Saul has been doing. He has hauled many of the Way into the prison and is even on his way to have many arrested who confessed the Way. That's persecution of what He does not know belongs or originates from the Lord - the same God He is wrongly jealous for by persecuting those of the Way (Phil. 3:6). God won't remain silence if you're on the nerves of those He sent for His own cause. He will arise and quicken salvation for them and I tell you, you will be found guilty if you're ever their persecutor. Today, we should check who we've been or who we are and desist from being same. Have you persecuted an ignorant or righteous man, a Christian or even a minister bearing the gospel? You've basically persecuted God and you owe Him a heartfelt apology. His forgiveness only is what will absolve you. Instead, do good to those of the household of faith and it shall be reckon to you as casting your bread upon the waters. Even in many days from now, you'll find it. Even after your departure, your downline will receive God's favour for same.

PRAYER: Lord, where am I found guilty even ignorantly, I plead for forgiveness? I submit to allow Your will flourish.

YOUR ANCHOR: BECAUSE IT'S OF GOD! - His Pleasure Series 008

Acts 5:39, KJV

"But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God."

May your fate be the one described in this verse. May it be that you and your work will be from God. When you are, you can go to rest. The joy of "I'm doing it right" will be yours. You'll therefore be envied by many who knows they're not doing it right and are already judged to be doomed even if you don't know they are. Brethren, do you know that just like there's no peace for the wicked, there's none for any whose work isn't from God also? There's actually no peace for them. Many times, they anticipate the inevitable. They have counted the cost before agreeing to the blessings of the devil but sacrifice time is always painful and with deep groaning for them. How easy and effortless it is for a labourer under our loving God? He doesn't exert force on you neither does His blessings carry consequences. He gives liberally without reproach. When you have His blessings, you'll tend towards wealth and riches because His blessings doesn't lead to eventual diminishment. Minister, is your work "of God?" I plead with you today, "let your work be of God." I'm not saying you should convert what you began under flesh or Satan to God's work. No. That's not how it's done. You must first slay that one and die of that even without any intention of running with another. You must be freed from the error or false spirit under which you've operated and tarry on our God whether He might ever send you. Why many wouldn't do this is because of the shame of disengagement with what might have had some influence in the natural. Don't inherit the world and lose your soul. 

That place read, "if it be of men, it will come to nought but if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it." Don't you want that kind of report concerning your work? It's not that they won't try plucking it down. They will. Did the Bible not say, "they'll gather but will their gathering prosper is the question?" They might defame you by slandering, libeling but God is saying, "they can't overthrow you." They might even make a cook up of blazing you off with a woman, the promise is that you'll escape the snare of the fowler still and yet be found clean. Escaping it is what will make you intact and unsinged. To be overthrown means to be unseated. That's the intention of many fleshy people and that includes the government of a nation at times. They don't want anything that'll become too popular than them. A thing that will substitute the government and begin to give the citizens hope. Such may reveal their irresponsibility and switch loyalty and focus on them to the provider of their needs. They don't want attention to be shifted or diverted from them especially if they've been before you. It will seem you, the set man is more popular than they are and has collected the whole nation for yourself. This is why you'll see many sponsored attacks: covert and overt being directed at you. But all in all, what's your anchor, "but if it be of God, you cannot overthrow it?" The key to not being overthrown is actually not by being deeply connected with politicians in your location. It is never being in association with some deep under world cult also. It is not even your being brilliant naturally. It is rather having signed an accord with God. The Bible says, "if you're in peace with God, He has power enough to make your enemies, even the strongest of them all to be at peace with you (Prov.16:7). Don't rack your head for search on how He'll get it done. Just hold unto the fact that He's the God of all the earth. He created them, you and all. If He does, He could command them too. When did the manufactured begin to disobey its manufacturer? 

Brethren, I'm having a great pull of heart to ask you to resign to God. Let your work purely be of God. Let the testimony that'll testify of you be "there was a man sent from God, whose name was John (John 1:6, KJV). With this (being from God), there's no territory you can't take, there's no barrier you can't break and there's no system you can't acquire. If you're of God, you'll always be absolved. They'll cook their evil but they'll relent and say, "let him be." They'll always and continuously have a  change of mind concerning you because your Lord, who you worship day and night would have gone ahead you to warn men concerning you. He'll tell them, "have nothing to do with that righteous man or you'll suffer a lot for his sake." That's even if God has not started suffering them already like He did in this verse (Matt.27:19).

PRAYER: I anchor on You Lord, I can't be overthrown. Father, let me find your forgiveness for not being from you. Accept me back. I surrender.
