WHEN THE LORD BRINGS IT TO YOU

READ Genesis 27:1-25

Genesis 27:20, KJV

"And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God brought it to me."

I pray for you, the Lord will bring it to you. When the Lord brings it to you, you will locate it easily and your time of wandering shall be saved.

Isaac was old and he knew not the day of his death. To this end, he called Esau his son to go hunting and fetch him meat such as he liked for preparation of a delicious meal. He'll need to bless him before his death. They wouldn't know that Rebekah spies on them and has heard all.

While Isaac was jealous for Esau, Rebekah was concerned for Jacob. They each have their team member and one they were loyal to. May you not lack your man. It was Jacob's man (her mother) that helped him or else destiny blessing would have jumped him over. May God give you those who will watch your back and the back door for you. That was Jacob's advantage in today's reading. It's also your leverage in this life.

Where critical decisions will be taken, may you have those that will fight for you.  On that note, Rebekah therefore instructed Jacob to bring two kids from the flock which she'll prepare into the kind of meal Isaac loved. Jacob's fear was eliminated and this plan was carried out. When Jacob got the food ready for Isaac, Isaac was shocked at how the process of getting a bush meat could have been so shortened for anyone. So, he asked, "how is it that you were so quick about it?" That question shows Isaac was not ignorant of how tedious hunting for animals could be. It was also a means of verifying who came. Jacob however said one thing that my emphasis will be on today. He said, "because the Lord thy God brought it to me."

We knew God didn't bring anything to Jacob because he didn't even go hunting. He only lied since the animals he prepared were domesticated animals. However, let's leave all those to concentrate on the feedback of Jacob to his father which is actually a possibility in any Christian's life.

Do you know God could bring things to you? We all know that it took Esau a considerable longer time before he appeared before Jacob. What if as soon as he got to the wild, he didn't have to spend much time but a shorter one than he spent before God brings it to him.

People of God, God is still in the business of bringing it to His children. Twenty of you can be primary school mates. You started all together from the beginning but after twenty five years, some of you might have gotten why they're in this wild (life or earth) while others are still roaming around to find a perfect game or even find their foot. When you meet some of them and ask, how are you doing? How's family? They'll have evidences to show for it. They already have those things and on every matter of life have been helped greatly like the Lord helped Uzziah. If it's on purpose, they're already functioning big time in the anointing of their callings and details of their careers. Nothing is just lacking because their names are fledgling brands that are now being noised around at their level. When God brings it to you, struggle is eliminated. The house some are not eating but saving heavily to build can be given you. What the world is dying to have, cutting corners to achieve all can be delivered at your doorstep. Gift and inheritance are two means through which God can bring it to you apart from reaping a bumper harvest in what your hand has found to do which can give you quick acceleration to achieve. Favour is another way of quickly gathering.

I pray for you that when you go out in the morning to fetch what to eat, it will quickly come to you. While scouting for what to bring home, you won't meet a predator. All the things that a man needs to be a man or woman in this life, may the Lord God of Israel, Isaac and Jacob betray them into your hands so that your journey will be quicker over your mates. Receive it.

PRAYER: God, you're a betrayer and deliverer of good things needed for life unto my bosom; give to me on time.

THE HEART THAT GOES WITH YOU

READ II Kings 5:1-27

II Kings 5:26, KJV

"And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?"

Where can we go from the presence of God? Psalm 139 is a psalm of discovery that shows our not being able to escape from the Lord.

Psalms 139:2-3, KJV

"2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. 3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways".

God is the one that compasses your path. He is the God that surrounds you. In today's passage, Gehazi runs after Naaman to demand of him things that his master, Elisha had rejected after Naaman was healed of leprosy. After his arrival back to the master, Elisha requested of him where he was coming from. He lied and said " thy servant went no whither (II Kings 5:25, KJV).

Elisha then replied, "went not mine heart with thee when the man alight from his chariot to meet you? Is this the time to collect this and that?" The following consequence is that Gehazi is cursed and he carries the leprosy of Naaman.

You should know that God's eyes follows you all-around. There is nothing done in secret that won't be made manifest is what the Bible says. As a child of light therefore, let your deeds be wrought in God so that you won't fear being exposed. If you have good deeds, you'll want to manifest it in light/public but if your deeds are evil, you'll want darkness to cover you.  Secret sins and abominable deeds are really irritants to the Lord. You shouldn't indulge in any because God's heart and eyes would always go with you. Your conscience would bear you witness and call you to questions and order.

There's no time like any other to stop secret sins and come to repentance also than now. It is God before whom we all have to do. Fear Him as one that knows all, sees all and surrounds you about. Decide today not to carry any consequence resulting from secret sins like that of Gehazi. When your ways are straight, you purchase for yourself clear conscience before men and God. Gehazi though lied he goes no where that day knew deep down that his conscience bears him witness. As he denies his master, his heart tells him, "you lie". Your first judge as you go is your heart. So, pay attention.

PRAYER: I break loose from any habitual sin. I shall keep no secret sin that would bring me losses, harm or death. I'm a child of light and I manifest so.

WHY HE COULDN'T APPRECIATE HER LIKE THE BEGINNING

WHY HE COULDN'T APPRECIATE HER LIKE THE BEGINNING - Part 1

There's love of the beginning. Yea, this love has not been tested or proven. This beginning love that we call love at times may not be love as well but it can be love also. If it is not what it shouldn't be, but manifests as straight love, then you can expect some manifestations.

When a man and a woman falls in love, or goes into courtship especially if it is both their first time (having not burnt their fingers in any fire of relationship before), you'll observe exhilarant fire of love burning. You'll see zeal and activities that many waters can't drown. When fuel is poured into a burning fire, what happens? It glows the more. That's the nature of that first love. It's always glowing and never tired. Ups and downs of life, familiarity, offences, awareness and  fretting to meet responsibility haven't yet matched on it. So, it just survives naturally. You can call it the grasses two Loxodonto africana (African elephants) haven't fought on. The grasses don't seem to have suffered being trodden.

This first love is characterized by long interaction at the expense of some other things, extraordinary kindness, longsuffering and burden bearing etc. Both of them will just understand themselves like that. No one will want to act the stubborn goat's role.

Now, if their courtship quickly wraps up into marriage, let's say within six or one year of engagement, this fire of first love will still continue to burn aglow and it can still do for some time. Being with a person for a year isn't yet enough to cause fatigue because both of you are still opening new pages of your stocks to each other. There are still inventions and innovations to impress yourselves with without taking thought for it. Inspiration will aid you more. By practical practicality and experiential experience at my entry level, I know how this thing I'm describing works.

God forbid, let's assume their courtship now tarries for years that are beginning to grow beard like 3 upward, then both of them may begin to lose the joy of the first love. Do you want to know why? What we first meet always makes us drunk. It always do us as if we should die there and be held at its court. When I look at many brethren who are just engaged around me, I always have cause to glorify God for them that they're passing through their first phase where ideas, stimulations of love, kind utterances etc come easily without incentive or an external morale. At this place, both of you are still seeking to prove yourselves to each other - that I am a responsible man and that I'm an obedient lady. So, arguments or critical ones are far fetched from you. Not even one abuse or threat to retaliate an act. Rejoice in this your day like Jesus said of John's light.

John 5:35, KJV

"He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light."

Like John's, just know rejoicing in that natural period of love is for a season except for rejoicing in its artificial creation which will then come by your own hard work (being an active and not a benched player). This season of zealous joy is given also to balance the strenuous moments that may later dot your journey. That's why an Elijah must eat double when double is available for the journey. That way, you must throw yourself to the escalation of all the benefits that zealous love has to offer. Like we collect cocoa pods without leaving one behind, clean-gather all the benefits of that period.

After both of you might have known each other very well with nothing hidden again (with or without sex; married or engaged), you'll become stiff. Some in their relationship (courtship or marriage) can go this mile than others. While this first joy ended within a short while of some people's relationship (either as married or engaged), it continues to heat more for like say 3-4 years for some before they enter into the phase of "by power and might." The first is by "spirit's phase." Acts of love just comes naturally to you to do. Being sacrificial doesn't look burdening then. You'll even boast of your being caring, obedient or sweet.

When your spouse looks as if he's no longer caring however, both of you have found yourselves out. That thing has crept in. That nature of man that always expend the best at the beginning and never takes thought to reserve the best for the end has crawled over you. That shows you're blood and flesh created to be man indeed. Jesus however acted contrarily to this in John 2 and it's only a man with the insights and practicality of how the best can be reserved for latter time that will pass.

John 2:10, KJV

"And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now."

When there's nothing suppressing love in you, it is easier expressing it. Even the Psalmist said,

Psalms 42:5, KJV

"Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me?..."

Have you seen a reed before or a plant that couldn't stand erect? Such bows down. That status depicts depression, burdening, tiredness etc. If anyone gets here, their once upon charming spouse that they eulogize day and night may seem to have been evacuated from the centre stage. The man whose voice they want to hear for assurance now becomes dung to them. It's not their intentional doing but what it means being just a man is just catching up with them.

At this stage also, your spouse may no longer be the thought entering your mind often. It may be work, other crush or obsession (person or thing). In his or her mind, "I've possessed you already. If you've been this secured, why run around like a fellow still seeking approval."

Don't be deceived by the illusion of a "better spouse" also, whom if you've gone for, same thing would have repeated itself. Aren't you still getting it that all men and women are the same?

You can also ask those who get to the end of their zealous stage, their mind begins to look for the next challenge. You know, a muse. Something to spend yourself on before having open eyes and waken sense again. This is usually practiced by men and that has made many men raiders of the treasure trove who just check in today and check out to check in with another tomorrow.

Somehow also to them, their wives may just have lost that savour which could be felt in how poorly they adore her now. A fellow that's always verbose whenever you send him pictures that's now doing summary writing is revealing a testimony of what can catch up with men. Yet I heard,

Isaiah 40:30-31, KJV

"30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

The end of zealous love and the beginning of serious love is where you'll begin to know what it means to be loyal to the marriage vow that says, "forsaking others to cling to you, both in convenience or inconvenience; health or sickness etc" Marriage vow is one of the dangerous vows in the world because as soon as you take it (just like any other vow), you can't but be tried and be at the peril of violating it. Meanwhile, what is permitted for others isn't so for you. You're called to make it true.

The stage where natural glowing fire of love ceases burning is natural and would come to anyone in relationship. Despite the experience of this stage, you can intentionally create by effort the glowing of this joy and love by doing simple acts like:

a. Word of affirmation

b. Gift

c. Touch

d. Service

At the initial stage, these four would come naturally but after the stage's expiry, you'll have to work them consistently in deliberateness if you want to have joy and know peace.

WHY THEY CARRY A MISSIONARY AWAY

READ II Kings 5:1-19

II Kings 5:2, KJV

"2 And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife."

When God wants to penetrate a place which for some reasons is difficult to penetrate, one of the things God subtly does is to allow somebody to be carried away to such place. I hope you've heard of wind or water dispersed seeds that are carried from one place to the other. The air or the water is the means by which they're spread. Now, why the carrying away? God knows the need for a preacher.

Romans 10:14-15, KJV

"14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"

Syria carries a young girl away from Israel when it's raided. This girl obviously knows God and must have tasted of God's power. She must have been one of many who with joy mounts up to the house of the Lord.

She was carried off but her content was not known. Nobody knows she contains the Bible and some soul winning valuables. As God would position her amidst the so many people carried captive, she was posted to wait on Naaman's wife - an influence in the land that could influence the whole nation. She must have been serving them as the Bible that the heathen reads before she subtly but in a relaxing way slicks in the gospel. She said unto her mistress, "would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy."

Naaman didn't know God nor his household. The journey to a nation knowing God starts many times in this way. That's how his leprosy was cleansed by Elisha. Naaman having been won by the power of God and His free gift requested for sand from Israel to build an altar where he'll serve Jehovah in his country. That means he took the gospel back to Syria. After his cleansing, you'll see that that little missionary wasn't released to go back to Israel. She must have been given free hands to serve God in her master's house better than before. If her faith had been secretive, she now has a ground to bring it into the open in the entire household. I so much believe that Naaman after being won might have asked her to explain the scriptures to him like the Ethiopian eunuch requested of Philip. Look, God is a subtle God. Naaman has a problem and God meets it. It's difficult for somebody to reject you whose life's long need you met. There are high officials in many nations of the world that for the gospel to reach, you'll have to focus on their problems and not first Christ. They won't be offended like that. They'll so much see you as caring until it is too way long for them to recover from all you've done.

Did you notice that girl only speaks about meeting the need of her master? She didn't say "first get born again". That only follows after the miracle. Miracle is a sign to the heathen (John 4:48).

Your positioning where you are is strategic. Are you an air hostess who by your positioning serves highly placed people? Let God shows you the need of the nobles on board and sure capitalize on that to get them saved. Even the devil makes people sin by finding an already open space into their lives.

If you're kidnapped as a Christian or mistakenly carried away somewhere, it is for a purpose. As long as you will disperse abroad the seed of the gospel, God has no problem keeping and feeding you even in a foreign land. There are places where a shoot at sight has been issued against the Bible. One of such is North Korea. The Bible is seen as herald of Western culture. Under that pretext, God is shut out. In North Korea, the government and the ruling family are God and should be so treated. While there are other nations who haven't decreed outrightly against the Bible, their systems are built to resist Christianity or its flowering as well. Can God smuggle you into this sort of places? When you go on State or whatsoever scholarship to such places, consider yourself an undercover agent for Christ but not with obvious identity that reveals you as an evangelist or missionary.

God penetrated some difficult lands just on a visit of a gospel bearer who sows the seed. He's considered a tourist yet a missionary in disguise. We all have a call this morning to see to it that this gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is preached everywhere in the earth. That includes nations and places that locks it out. May you be found an available vessel to sow what will become a national salvation to a person - especially an influential citizen.

PRAYER: Father, teach me the art of evangelism. Sensitize me to people's needs for evangelism. May you always give us a Naaman or an Ethiopian Eunuch that could preach to the rest.

LOOKING UNTO JESUS

Hebrews 12:2, KJV

"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

You must know that to be distracted is very easy. The very reason why you must intentionally practice selective looking. In today's verse, we are told to look unto Jesus. Looking unto Him and remembering something about Him can keep us through ours.

Literally, a thing you look unto is a thing you focus your gaze on. Your concentration is on such. Jesus in that verse is said to be taken as our model who endures shame for the joy set before Him. If we take Him as our model and continually remember how He struggled to win, we also will be mindful enough not to let go even when it's tough. We can't say we are alone or have nobody who has passed through the challenges we're passing through. Even if it's not the same challenge or situation, trying or hardship of a sort might be common to it both.

A thing you constantly set before you is what you see. That's why the Psalmist says this.

Psalms 16:8, KJV

"I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved."

The remedy to not being moved in this life is setting the Lord before yourself. Something will come around that's enough reason to be shaken or moved. You'll be tried but those who will remain like hills surrounding Jerusalem which can't be moved will be those that have set the Lord before themselves. When you set God before yourself until He constantly takes the elegant place in your life (your right hand side) - showing importance and priority, you'll see that you can't be moved. Those who can't be moved are people who are constantly meditating and have established a strong belief in God. They've given Him the place of God who's all able. They're those who also creates the mental picture of the Almighty and His almightiness before themselves while putting themselves in constant remembrances of His fearful acts. These are people who like David have not forgotten in a hurry the past works of the Lord but could firmly reminisce and say, "the Lord that delivers me from the paws of the lion and the bear will deliver me from this uncircumcised Philistine also." Those that would remember God's great act in the past are those who can have Him believed to be able to settle future arisings.

Have you set the Lord before yourself? If He's not your focus, your meditation all day till He is giving a place in your life where He reigns as very important in your matters (to the extent that you can't do a thing without consulting Him), you'll easily be lost or give up when the storm arises.

PRAYER: Lord, may my daily practices show I've set you before me and that you're at my right hand. May I not be moved. May I see you as a worthy model to look unto and to.

THE HEART THAT  GOES WITH YOU

READ II Kings 5

Judges 5:28, KJV

"The mother of Sisera looked out at a window, and cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot so long in coming? why tarry the wheels of his chariots?"

If no one concerns himself with you, there is a person who should do. When I look at how big the world is; how challenging the affairs of this world are; how easily man can be defeated to give up, I recon one must have his own. There's need to have one or those who would take thought of one. This may be spouse, parents, friends, relatives e.t.c.

There's no one that's absolutely alone. If no one takes thought of you, God does. Be consoled!

Psalms 8:4, KJV

"What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?"

"Being mindful" is to take thought for someone. It is to concern yourself with such and all his affairs. Whenever you're under attack to think no one cares, always remember there's One who says "you're of more value than many sparrows" (Matthew 10:31). If He sees you so, He can't but dedicate time to muse over you and what concerns you. If it were not so, it shouldn't have been, "He who watches over Israel never sleeps nor slumbers." Everyday and every night, He thinks of you. You're the one He busies Himself with.

Sisera that was an enemy to Barak and Israel was the beloved of a mother and some people. There were people that were praying that Sisera must not die. His mother who waited in suspense to have him back was one. The maids who waited on his family were one. He was their master and unto him they looked for bread. Many others that derived their source from him were others also. Just bear it in mind that if nobody cares for you, you will always have an allocation of at least a person who will do. Sisera didn't lack his own lovers though he was God's enemy. All men can't look away from your direction. Yours will be measured to you.

When we marry, what we do is to acquire or arrogate the commitment of somebody to ourselves only. We personalize them. Your spouse is committed to you and you only in this world. He/she is made and given to you. Not another man or woman.  They're your possessions. Your personal thing. If the struggle for commitment rises even from his or her family, his or her loyalty should prioritize you. It can never be first and foremost to his parents e.t.c.

When Sisera went on the journey of no return and should have been back according to the time they were watching for him, somebody went into frenzy and became disturbed over him. Look at me. I say it again, "if nobody takes thought over you, someone at least would do." Out of all the people in Sisera's world, somebody took notice of him. No one can be absolutely bad and not have his own people. We all have received an allotment of men from God. You have your fan even if you don't acknowledge them or discern they are.

One of the cries of human beings in this our world is identification. All of us desire to be sought after. We desire to be in the memory of people. There's no woman that doesn't pray for a husband who will go all his way to take thought of her. Someone who will call while she's at work. Someone she won't have to remind of her birthday. Someone who won't need a teaching to discern an occasional gift do touch the hearts of females and make them open up. Yea, that's the kind of person we all desire. Marriage amidst all other relationships is the greatest of all that calls the attention of the other on you completely. Marriage focuses your spouse on you. Once you're married, if the whole world is against you, your spouse should still be for you because his calling is to be your cover.

There's a heart that goes with you. Motherhood in this passage found full expression in the act of Sisera's mother. Like our mothers would ascertain if their children have reached their destinations or not, so did this woman. She must have prayed for Sisera before going to battle. While Sisera was at battle, she was also interceding. Only that God was not siding with Sisera but Barak. So, if you want to excel in life, always look for someone that God is with currently and join such. You'll always be preserved and blessed. If God has left a Saul for a David but you're still with a Saul, you are an endangered fellow. You're not different from a man with head knowledge who lacks grace that can appeal people.

Elisha, the man of God told Gehazi, "went not my heart with you when the man alight from his chariot to meet thee? (II Kings 5:26)." In essence, as Gehazi ran after Naaman to collect those things, Elisha in the Spirit was following. It's like watching a live football match. As it is being played, you're seeing all as it happens. It's not that it had happened and they're replaying it for you. It's rather live and direct.

This heart of Elisha was the same Sisera's mother had for Sisera. As Sisera that day left in his chariot which is typical of an armoured or bullet proof vehicle today, the mother kept following him. A heart went after him because that heart was concerned with anything that concerns him. May you find your men. May God give you the specie that would take thought over you. Not all men care. Like sheep, they've gone astray and off to their own things. Selfishness is what rules the world now. But if you have anyone that can be pestering you with calls to ascertain whether you've eaten, gotten home, alighted at the bus stop, boarded a taxi or had had rest e.t.c, just know you're lucky because there are many who are fantasizing and catching cold for someone to show them this loyalty of "I BELONG TO YOU" without seeing one.

The cord that binds a child with his mother is so strong that many mothers might not want to relinquish their office to hand over to their son's wife at marriage. They may still want to continue to superintend in care for him like before. Mothers should hear this. Once your son marries, you must step down from the throne of his life and receive his wife as his queen. You rather will become a queen mother that they'll be checking on once in a while but your son's wife is the queen that will daily see this king. So, let the areas of specialization be well defined. Your contribution should be much in prayers for them. It shouldn't be to compete or outcompete his wife. Never stir the jealousy of your son's wife. Never incur her wrath or else a coup could be planned against you and your son might forever not visit home or only does reluctantly. Rather, do handing over. Hint your son's wife the weaknesses of your son, what he likes best and how by your observation over the years, she can enjoy him or have him totally for herself. Afterward, withdraw and watch at a distance.

I pray for you, you won't be taken away to punish the heart that takes thought of you. The Bible says, "your law is my meditation all day long" (Psalm 119:97). There is one at least unto whom you have become a meditation. At least, you are to your beloved and your beloved is to you. If such loses one, do you think it would go well with such? That's why you must be preserved for such to enjoy. I pray, you won't be suddenly taken away when your purpose is still being felt. You'll rather tarry and grow more useful.

PRAYER: Lord, preserve the fellow that has become my meditation. I shall not be snatched away from my lovers (family e.t.c) and my lovers from me.

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - Olusola ADEJUMO

THE KING AGAINST WHOM THERE'S NO RISING UP

READ Exodus 15

Acts 9:6, KJV

"6 And he trembling and astonished said, LORD, WHAT WILT THOU HAVE ME TO DO? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do."

Down the line of history, men have accrued power and made themselves into a demigod to be feared and cringingly obeyed.  Even in this civilization, we still have countries that their rulers rule supreme and demands reference like God. North Korea bears testimony. Against a dictator like the one there, there's no rising up. Acts of rebellion against him are intolerable which makes rising difficult.

You have to know that you and God can't enter into the contest of who will first blink. You won't only blink (break down and consequently give in), you might run blind (totally vanished into oblivion or extinction) if his hand becomes heavy on you. One of such men that rose against God out of ignorance that pretended to be zeal was Saul of Tarsus. God saw his heart to serve Him yet he was doing the opposite. He was observing tradition and defending it, believing it was for God. He seeks to flow with the High Priest (God's supposedly representative), yet all of them were in error. God might have been merciful to him considering this and the fact that he just needed to be tamed as predestination has written him a chosen instrument who will preach Him even to nobles yet suffering many things also (Acts 9:15-16).

This Paul that went proudly in boasts to the High Priest to collect a letter that would authorize him bind any that belongs to the way was one that now becomes soft tempered after the Lord had dismounted him from his bunk. Saul was so soft that when the Lord introduced Himself to him as the One He persecutes, he had no more spirit to rival or go further in contest. He rather asked like a prisoner of war, "what would you have me do?" He was brought into agreement!

Are you seeing submission? This was the man that the perspective of him we had at the beginning of that chapter was that of a chimera. Now, he has been cooled down. The tamer has touched him and indeed he has been tamed. Without a chain, he was bound and faithfully followed instructions that he knew could only lead to the restoration of his eyes. He was told to rise and go into the city where things would be shown him. Who don't know that a receiver of an instruction is submitted to the giver? Over the once boastful Saul, God has gained glory and victory like He gained over Pharaoh and his proud host (Exodus 15:1).

How many people are there persecuting Christians all over the world? It is Jesus you're persecuting and He will triumph gloriously over you. Some people like the High Priest may be supporting, financing and authenticating you to do more. They'll only put you face to face with God. The High Priest was at home when Saul met with Jesus face to face. The brunt will be yours to bear.

Those whom God rose against testified of their encounters. Like Jacob, they still do behold often the indelible memory they sustained while striving it out with God. Yahweh is the One against Whom there's no rising up.

Proverbs 30:31, KJV

"A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up.

He towers any dictator or most feared fellow you may know. May He not lay what you're doing to your charge. Rising against a king shows rebellion but God is the One against whom there's no rising and there ought not to be one. You can stand to rebel against God but God doesn't have to take much thought against subduing you because you exist in the palm of His hands. The inhabitants of the earth are as grasshoppers before Him. If that be, what sort of mind ye ought to possess? May you know your boundary that God has given you liberty to go far but not farther. Just like He sets for the water, He has one set for man also (Psalms 104:9). He is the One that determines how long we can last in any battle against Him and I know no human can last a  second against God.

PRAYER: Father, forgive my ignorance wherever I have contended with Your will. Input it not to me as sin. May you teach me submission and agreement with You rather. Encounter persecutors of the church worldwide and fight for those who have gone to the end of the earth . Against You, there's no rising up.
