THE CUP YOU MUST DRINK - Cups And Graces Series 001

Genesis 42:21, KJV

"And they said one to another, We are verily guilty concerning our brother, in that we saw the anguish of his soul, when he besought us, and we would not hear; therefore is this distress come upon us."

Joseph didn't want to go to Egypt but God sent him. How did I know that? Read our verse for the day again. The Bible says, "...in that we saw the anguish of his soul, when he besought us, and we would not hear..."

Do you know who besought - begged, yet they would not hear? It was Joseph. At this point in time, repercussions have caught up with Joseph's brothers or let us say, so they felt. Why did I choose to go with the latter? That's because Joseph was only being dramatic with what he was doing to them. He only needed to do that to test them and not because he really wanted to hurt them. He already discerned them as his brothers and though they sold him into slavery, he had no resentment against them.

When they came to Egypt to buy grain for the family because the famine was also in Canaan, they came face to face with Joseph who accused them of being spies. They spoke true and defended themselves, even to give an account of their family life, telling their former and current number after one (in Joseph) was no more. It was at this time he remembered his dreams that he had at age seventeen which his brothers refuted as they now bow to him. So, he began the drama, both to test them if they had repented and to source vital information from them.

Refusing to clear them of being spies, they were jailed for three days. On the third day, Joseph felt for them and released them on the conditions that Simeon would be kept in ward while Benjamin is brought to Egypt to prove and redeem their words as they have said of their last born.

It was at this instance they all remembered their wickedness to Joseph, lifted up their gazes and condemned themselves by saying to one another, "...we are verily guilty concerning our brother, in that we saw the anguish of his soul, when he besought us, and we would not hear; therefore is this distress come upon us."

In essence, Joseph begged for his life that day. He didn't want to be sold into slavery. Nothing in him wanted to sail. He thought he would be lost and that it could be the end of his life. The words "anguish of soul" reveal how much Joseph cried, resisted and fought his being sold into slavery as he was being drawn out of the well that day. You could see the "anguish of his soul" on his face. He was afraid and deadened to happiness. All he wanted was to go home. He would have preferred to be warned not to make them look inferior again than being sold into slavery. If they had asked for his clothe of many colours to be jettisoned, he would have traded it for his life. However, he had to go into the future of Israel. He had to be sold.

As a matter of fact, God so much supervised his going that when Reuben, their eldest brother sought to deliver him from the hands of the other brothers in order to deliver him back to their father, God frustrated that process. Reuben began by saying this.

Genesis 37:22, KJV

"And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he might rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again."

Before he came back to the well however, the lad had gone. Reuben lamented this way.

Genesis 37:30, KJV

"And he returned unto his brethren, and said, The child is not; and I, whither shall I go?"

You see, he was asking where he would go being the first born who has the utmost responsibility of accounting for all of them and presenting Joseph back to the father - Jacob. When it is God's will for you to go, you can't be retained here. You may not understand all the workings. Joseph didn't as we saw he didn't want to go genuinely. He thought all that was to life is his father's house and the little endearments of gifts he enjoyed. He never knew there was a planned life beyond Canaan for him. That life is in Egypt - a place he would never have chosen to go voluntarily. Meanwhile, God orchestrated it by providence and made situations so much work for him that he was not killed nor his blood concealed when it could have been done (Gen. 37:22, 26-27). Rather, he travelled.

We know Joseph had to drink this cup of soulish anguish and momentary trouble which lasted for thirteen years of his life as he himself reveals the mind of God on why he came ahead of them to Egypt.

"Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life" (Genesis 45:5, 7-8).

He told them, "You didn't send me here but God did in order to preserve many people alive."

Brethren, you will drink your cup. As long as it is your cup, it'll be bearable for you to drink and that's because there's an assigned grace and endurance that goes with each person's specific designed cup. That's why you must not run another man's race. That's why you must face your journey and ensure you only play out your script. If you don't but switch cups with a friend, you'll end up being deficient because you won't have the graces and enablement for the cup that was not initially made for you. As a matter of fact, go and make it a prayer that you will drink your cup and your cup only.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: Lord, I'm submitted to Your will and Your will only in order to fulfill my destiny, assignment/ministry and drink my own cup.

WARNING TO THOSE GROOMING THE FIRE OF LUST - Control Lust Series 004

I Kings 21:2, KJV

" And Ahab spake unto Naboth, saying, Give me thy vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near unto my house: and I will give thee for it a better vineyard than it; or, if it seem good to thee, I will give thee the worth of it in money."

The Bible says, "Naboth has a vineyard near Ahab's palace" (V.1). That was before verse 2 where Ahab goes to ask for the vineyard because he has the vision/plan of making it a vegetable garden. First of all, I'm praying for you that you won't meet the likes of Ahab in life. They are those who reduce a vineyard to a vegetable garden. They reduce something of greater worth to nothingness just for their pleasure and consumerism culture. What is a vegetable garden to a vineyard? Which will be priced higher? May we know our value and worth so that we can reject what patronizes us and seeks to exchange value with worthlessness.

I want you to see something in the speech of Ahab to Naboth. Ahab confesses without shame that his plan is to make the vineyard a vegetable garden after it might have been sold to him or exchanged for another. It means before Ahab comes out to tell Naboth this, he had mused and thought of how best and in what capacity that piece of land would serve. As a matter of fact, he had already imagined vegetables growing there for his own household's use. He has imagined different types of vegetables even from oriental lands being planted there. He could smell the aroma of the vegetable coming from the royal kitchen and filling his stomach. For short, he had finished every plan on paper before coming to meet Naboth for that farmland.

And do you know what, he never foresees rejection. Being the king, he could have believed that the farm would even be turned to him in obeisance and at no price. However, he received the shock of his life when that one tells him it is an inheritance he is not willing to part away.

This is how responsible and preservative of godly heritage we should be. It is that shocker or rejection that turns the eyes of Ahab sour. Before the death of Naboth was ever planned, what would not allow both Ahab and Jezebel rest until they have the farmland is lust - insistence to have something even if it compromises moral standards. Lust always pushes people to neglect moral codes or conducts. Rather, it makes them selfish - only seeing their needs and how they'll be benefited.

It is lust that pushed for the panel of elders and the false witnesses that were leveled unjustly at Naboth. All those actions fulfill another scripture that says.

James 4:1-2, KJV

"1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?

2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not."

What these verses say are true of what Ahab and Jezebel did to Naboth in order to dispossess him of his possession, therefore taking it over. Those two verses expose what causes quarrels and fights among people (as it was with Ahab and Naboth). Such comes from the evil desires at war within the individual. "You want what you don't have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have but you can't get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them."

Those are the exact similar road that Ahab and Jezebel walked to collect for themselves what they seriously lusted after. The lust was so strong in Ahab that when he was rejected, he turned down food with a swollen face. As in, Ahab acted like a baby that needed consolation. Indeed, he was not consoled until Jezebel, the 'husband' in skirt assures him of getting the vineyard for him.

Brethren, your evil desire or lust can lead you to scheme and kill. It could get to that extent if you groom or grow those evil or carnal desires in you. This is a warning not to go the path of Ahab and Jezebel because those who do will have their outcome (I Kings 21:19-24).

PRAYER: Lord, withhold my feet from running an unprofitable business. May I maintain my stand not to compromise in the face of pressure.

THE BEGINNING OF LUST - Control Lust Series 003

Genesis 39:7, KJV

"And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me."

Lust kickstarts after seeing something enviable - something that you'll like to have for yourself. If it is not admirable, it won't win your attention and once it gets nothing of your attention, you cannot muse on it. What we lose our sleep to are deep longings in our hearts that are admirable. What we day dream about are what we crave that we also haven't possessed. So, we begin to strategize and devise how to acquire them or make them our own. This happens to Potiphar's wife. It began with seeing that Joseph is good looking. It began with the eye that is never satisfied with seeing. An eye that even when it sees can't control itself from brooding on what it had seen - calling herself quit and to discipline.

That place says "she casts her eyes on Joseph..." That means to, "fasten focus on" or "turn attention on." Anyone who casts his eyes on you inevitably wants to make you his or her victim. May God help you escape. Thanks Joseph didn't succumb. He refused the offer to lie down with his boss' wife. This only heightened her lust however. This only led to her mind roaming and brooding over how she'll eventually devour Joseph and have him do twenty one playful tricks with her when he eventually agrees. There are verses that agree with that proposition.

Genesis 39:10, KJV

"And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her."

Did you see what that verse reports? She couldn't stop telling Joseph how she feels. That lust has become inflamed, seeking an expression and outlet. She couldn't survive it. That denial and "no" of Joseph rather heightened her desire and craze to fulfill her lust. This lusting continued until she could no longer hold it any longer. So, it became a matter of confrontation. It became a by force or by fire thing. This is where lust having conceived is ready to deliver. Its delivery is always sin and sin will lead to death. Let's see.

Genesis 39:11-12, KJV

"11 And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within.

12 And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out."

Did you see that? Because lust is active and has conceived and can't but be delivered, the opportunity sure availed itself. Let me tell you this. If you keep lusting or craving for something outside God's confines, you might end up fulfilling it. The reason is because the devil will set you up. You will have an opportune time to do that thing. The Bible says, "And there was none of the men of the house within." So, she finally had an opportune time to sin and birth her lust. To prove that she had been totally consumed, possessed and is now being controlled by that lust, she didn't have any respect nor shame again. She laid hold on Joseph as if he were a tool or her personal property on whom she didn't need consent. The Bible says, "And she caught him by his garment saying, lie with me..."

Ask yourself, what could happen that would lead someone into throwing and forcing herself at the other like a cheap market? She not only did that, she wanted it enforced and carried out that instant. Like leprosy, that lust of adultery has so much consumed her that if Joseph had asked for her husband's treasure chest just for one stand, she would have given it without thinking. Why? Erotic passion of lust as we have here is a long term cultivated fire. She has carried it long enough until it has enough time to eat her deeply up. You can't just quench it that soon. It took time to flame to fire. So also, it'll need time to douse.

Do you know how many days or months she had taken to brood on having Joseph for herself even before mentioning it to him? That lust just didn't hasten to give birth, it matured having been conceived earlier.

Brethren, this is a warning not to start a fire you don't want to eventually burn you. May you understand and come to the position of Job who says, "I have made a covenant with my eyes, how shall I behold a virgin" (Job 31:1).

PRAYER: Lord, terminate every time-bomb of the works of the flesh in my life before terminating and crash landing me.

THE CONCEPTION OF LUST - Control Lust Series 002

James 1:15, KJV

"Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."

We have to understand how temptation comes. Temptation cannot catch you if you're not lusting in that direction. The devil knows that. Like a great advertiser and master of awareness, he therefore sells to us our needs.  He'll make the porridge of lentils look delicious to Esau, make Bilhah look consumable to Reuben and make the thirty pieces of silver a must have for Judas Iscariot. He does this because there's a foothold of those things in those individual lives. So, He only cast his anchor at it.

James 1:14 tells us how every man is tempted - "But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed."

Have you seen what draws the man away? It is his own lust. If there was never any residual lust of that thing or item in his life, the devil couldn't have capitalized on that in seeing to his stumbling.  You trap a rat by what he likes to eat. What gives every man away is his own lust.

When the Bible says, "But every man is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust...", it means a lot. First, it is a gradual process. Nobody just falls like that. It has to accumulate or build up before the falling into the ditch can happen. His lust, his incessant lust, his constant craving must continue enough and for a while in order to lead him astray until he's enticed, entangled and caught in what he would later regret.

Then, stage two. The Bible says, "Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."

"To conceive" means to become pregnant.  When a woman is pregnant, she must push it out in delivery. It is not the second you conceive you deliver the baby. That's why that place says, "when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin..."

Lust does not satisfy the desire of God. Lust will hurry you and put you under pressure that what you're lusting over is a must have. Lust will hurry you to take shortcuts to possess that thing therefore. How? It'll even over-possess and overdrive you. It is that which will lead you into unapproved acts. That's when your lust will be pushed out into manifesting sins. That's when you'll have duly committed sin - either by stealing something you couldn't buy or acting contrarily another way. Lust can begin as a craving but its intention is to drive you into an action of sin.

It always takes a process. "The eye that is not satisfied with seeing" can lead you here if you are not careful. It can lead you behind bars. It can lead you before a judge who could sentence you to a term in jail. If you do not master your "eye" (metaphor for your senses or appetite) that is always craving for something, it'll lead you to lust and when lust has fully been incubated upon or carefully thought of for days, then sin might be hatched.

PRAYER: Father, shed light on any lust in my life that might get me in trouble sooner or later.

THE EYE IS NOT SATISFIED WITH SEEING! - Control Lust Series 001

Ecclesiastes 1:8, KJV

"All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing."

How true is the verse above? Is the eye ever satisfied with seeing? Is the ear ever filled with hearing? I'll say, "never!"

Scholars generally agree that, "Human wants are insatiable and the resources to meet them are scarce." That is truth! We will always have needs but the resources may not always be available to meet them. It is that which leads to a drawing of scale of preference in order to capture the most pressing needs and have them attended to with the limited resources at hand. Meanwhile, this verse in view says, "The eye is not satisfied with seeing." What does that mean? It means man is always covetous. It means man is always asking for more. It means man is never satisfied with what he has or possesses. This is where many seek things for validation. When he scrolls on the social media and sees a catalogue of items, he gets drawn into the chase to purchase things that he doesn't really need again. It simply means, man is never weaned from being wooed by things. This is where materialism steps in but where minimalism must take over if you'll ever have a sound, prosperous and uncompetitive life.

You cannot have everything in this world for yourself - no matter how rich or equipped you are with resources. If you do not learn contentment, you will likely hurt yourself a number of ways and of course fulfill this verse that says, "The eye is never satisfied with seeing." This verse is preaching against discontentment. Just like I earlier said, human needs are numerous and they'll keep showing up. You'll surely need to meet certain needs after having met some. You can't remain a living being without daily meeting of physical needs. Meanwhile, our verse of the day is not criticizing that or the fact that you'll need to meet all needs that are your "daily bread." What it is criticizing is the attitude of "it is not enough - greed it is called." What it is dealing with is excesses that are not needed in your life that you keep acquiring. A lot of people have acquired a number of items even in their houses that don't get used for months if not years. They've even forgotten they own some things. Until they discover them, they won't be awed they possess them. The moral is that you actually don't need those things. If you search carefully, you'll observe that there are many items in your life that are not necessary. You could live without them. Neither do they add to your daily living but you once purchased them out of human vanity, ego and desire for consumerism.

When the Bible says, "the eye is not satisfied with seeing", picture someone who has enough clothes but saw another design or colour on display and yearns for it. When the Bible says, "the eye is not satisfied with seeing", that verse will account for why we prostitute, commit adultery, fornicate and lust after things every time. The lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and pride of life work in consonance with this principle of "the eye is never satisfied with seeing" (I John 2:16). Rather, it keeps making new demands, even which is unnecessary. As a matter of fact, the advertisement world of bill boards and colourful designs have built their foundation on appealing to our senses of "the eye is never satisfied with seeing." They know that's a major gateway to our senses. Since the eye is never satisfied, they can get you to buy a fridge again though you already have a freezer. All they need to do is to tell you the fridge is a new design produced in Year 2026. They could say, "This other phone is more sleek and is waterproof" while you fall for the bait. All those won't change the fact that you actually don't need those new acquisitions. At best, they might be jobless in your life. Meanwhile, you could use them pull rank that you own two phones or two cars.

Living like this is when one's eye is never satisfied with seeing. Those who have trained themselves with contentment either because they're naturally poor or intentionally exercise that intelligence are such that are free from the bindings of that verse or its controlling demon. God is not against developing appetite. What He is against is having an uncontrollable appetite for something. Nothing must master you if you'll remain the master. You will lose yourself to things the day your eyes are not satisfied with seeing. If you saw something and you cannot call yourself quit from its charm for once, you have not been delivered from the eye is not satisfied with seeing. Someone who's not satisfied with seeing can steal to buy what he's craving for. She can prostitute and compromise her personal values to obtain things. Those are the people who let lust master them and when lust is fully developed, it'll become sin. Nothing else. Brethren, that admonishment of old still stands.

I Timothy 6:6, KJV

"But godliness with contentment is great gain." Divide your life with that scripture and see where you stand.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: I've made a covenant with my eyes, how then shall I be enraptured away by lusts.

FULFILL YOUR MINISTRY

II Timothy 4:5, KJV

"But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry."

Yesterday, I saw a news on Pastor Sunday Adelaja. So, I went to check the news-interview. In the process, I read him mention Bishop Abimbola Olaleye as one of the ministers keeping it clean and preaching the gospel in the country. Having a heart for ministry, I went to read about him too because that was the first time I was hearing about him. Afterwards, I watched some of his sermons to ascertain what he preaches. I also found out he has over forty years in ministry and is married to a nurse - singer, Gbemi Olaleye who's known to many as a popular Yoruba gospel artiste. Though familiar with the Yoruba gospel, I've also never discovered his wife - Gbemi Olaleye until then. So, I took time out on her also. I read and listened to some of her songs and discovered she sang the popular, "Moti Gba Leta Ayo."

It was her own songs I was rejoicing in when there were other recommendations of songs of their times - 80's, 90's etc. Amidst other videos that were listed are Bola Are, Apostle David Olaleye and Toun Soetan. I'm familiar with the first name but not with David Olaleye and Toun Soetan. So, I began my familiarization by watching and listening to Soetan's song videos to start with. I discovered she also sang the popular Christian chorus song, "Sese Ninu Mi Dun/Ayo Kun Nu Okan Mi."

I was going back and forth on all these songs including that of Apostle David Olaleye when I heard, "fulfill your ministry." Many of these ministers have fulfilled their ministry and are still fulfilling it. What about us? Will we be everything God has called us to be or we'll only be part of it? Will we make full proof of our ministry? Fulfilling one's ministry is a way by which one could show gratitude to God for being called in the first place. Unfortunately, there'll not always be time which is why Jesus says, "night comes when no man can work" (John 9:4). If one is not careful, he might wake up and see he has done nothing of his ministry or his God given assignment. Therefore, because our race is against time, we ought to give earnest care and details to fulfill our ministry. That's what you'll give a report on - on the gifts and calling of God which God cannot withdraw from you (Rom.11:29) but which you didn't tap or use to serve. God has given you the calling, the anointing and has even drawn for you a big circle of grace which if you push into on all sides, it'll be an open door and success all around. Meanwhile, are you pushing towards them or are you just chasing after things that are not your ministry? You know that it is possible to major in the minor and minor in the major. Is that what has befallen you? Have you made your calling lesser and of no significance by giving it lesser time?

I think the regret many will have is that they ran after the wrong pursuits. Instead of chasing their calling and fulfilling their ministry, it may be that some only chased their career, gave their whole or best time to their career or only took decisions based on where money could flow forth for them. They might not really follow the calling let alone fulfill their ministry. Some haven't even gotten into their ministry to start with. You might need to find yours as a Christian. Irrespective of what it is, it'll be a part adding to a whole - fulfilling the reason for which Jesus came - to save mankind.

We have examples of people who at the time of their callings when God granted them entrance pushed and were heard. Times might have changed and we may not know them with popular raving platforms but the products of their calling persist and testify of them. When men discover them, it becomes honey and a refreshing to their souls. You cannot erase or deny they were here. They are proof that they are men and women of calling who operated and made full proof of their ministry. As a matter of fact, some are still fulfilling the ministry given to them and are still influencing the domain and openings that the Lord has sovereignly opened to them. It is not about popularity but serving the will of God like David served God's will in his own generation before going on to sleep with his fathers (Acts 13:36). So, the question is, "Are you fulfilling your ministry? Are you busy chasing that and seeing to it that God's work in your hands is done, enlarged and made effective - amounting to what God would have it become as He has specifically given to you? See to it that you don't fulfill or live for the wrong thing but your ministry from the Lord.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to fulfill my ministry in its entirety and proportion. No competition and no drawing of comparison but rather fulfilling what you've given me.

BINDING AND REBUKING THE SPIRIT OF SUICIDE

Mark 5:12-13, KJV

"12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.

13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea."

The Bible says, "The thief only comes but to steal, kill and destroy" but that He (Jesus) came that we might have life and have it abundantly. That is bad news versus good news. Bad news because the thief (the One who steals by stealth) which is the devil comes to destroy. Good news because Jesus (the author and giver of life) comes to give us life and gives us abundantly. We are thankful because the life giving act of Jesus Christ counteracts the destructive works of the devil. The Bible says, "For this reason the son of God was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil" (I John 3:8).

It is the devil who collects and deprives you of life (and enjoyment of good life) fully. Jesus does the opposite. He yielded His life for us to have eternal life and then to enjoy the shepherded and contented life on earth as we submit to go out with Him to find pastures. Only Jesus makes sacrifices for us. The devil is too selfish to do the same.

There's nowhere where Jesus would be and tolerate the works of the devil. He destroys it. He wipes it all clean. We should take a cue from Him also since a disciple cannot be greater than his master but rather do the work that he does. Never pally with the devil or his activities. I was once in a church for over a year where I ministered alongside an anointed man of God but the elders in that local church would not want deliverance or the casting out of demons to be done. They esteemed their ego and preferred respect for themselves than being freed. They said, "they were being exposed and embarrassed even as people fell, screamed, shivered, coughed, shook, ran helter skelter, confessed and got their deliverance." They persecuted that work until it was hindered and unfortunately stopped.

How can you preserve self respect or reputation against being freed? When a demon is cast out of people and those manifestations follow which may be embarrassing (because it could be strange and intimidating), it doesn't mean the minister intends to cause you shame. Rather, it's a way for that demon to scare people away from receiving their deliverance by showing them the embarrassing sides especially when he doesn't want to release his host. At times, a demon could tear people on the ground or make them foam in the mouth. Many manifestations there be but irrespective of the manifestation or the kind of demon, Christ's authority which you have been delegated could get the work done.

On that note, let's take a leap into seeing the spirit of suicide that has gone into town in recent times with team spirits of depression, nothingness and hopelessness to push people off the cliff of life into death.

When Jesus casts out these demons that called themselves Legion, they begged and were given leave into the swine that was fed by the water. As they rushed into these pigs, they possessed and moved them in a rush into drowning themselves in the sea. That was absurd!

These were pigs who were in their normal senses a few seconds ago. They never thought of dying or committing suicide but as soon as these violent demons who had suffered that mad man of Gadarenes got released from his own inside, they unleashed their violence in their new hosts. They drove a multitude of living things (about 2,000) to death at a time.

It was a shock and one of the great losses recorded in the Bible. It is now you can understand afresh what that mad man of Gadarenes had suffered. What he contained that controlled his behavior into doing himself harm were those demons that led numerous swines into committing suicide. They just immediately had a new orientation and a new mind of their own. They immediately became insane like that mad man. Being unable to pedal down and contain that insanity like the mad man of Gadarenes did (since he was a human host I guess), they drowned and perished immediately.

It's not ordinary to be driven to the edge of hopelessness where one begins to entertain thoughts to take his own life. If no life is precious to one, yours should be. But even when that is compromised, then we should suspect the devil is at work. On this note, we bind every spirit of insanity, violence, misbehaviour (doing of harm to oneself by indulging in certain acts and not perceiving it as harmful) and consequently suicide. We bind and cast you out of your hosts in Jesus name. Rather, let the Spirit of sound mind and of faith take over. May victims of the devil's harassment be henceforth well clothed, seated coolly and be gathered together to even take instructions from Him as disciple's henceforth.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: I bind the devil and cast him out wherever he has had a foothold in my life.
