OPERATION MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT - Life More Abundantly Series 003
"19 And this woman's child died in the night; because she overlaid it. 20 And she arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while thine handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom."
In two series so far, the devil has been betrayed into your hands. However, his betrayal and disgrace hasn't ended, God is doing more.
I said yesterday that the devil is a master at stealth and thievery. John 10:10 calls him a "thief" - one who comes in without announcing his coming or arousing suspicion. Why? He wants to operate without blockage or confrontation. That makes him a wise agent. He wants to save time instead of wasting it at the battlefield to neutralize opposition before stealing. Rather, He watches for your down moments - when you are less spiritually sensitive and physically alert. It's then he sneaks in and we begin to hear news that security has been compromised in town because new people have been kidnapped or a place is being robbed. All these are works of the devil. The Bible calls it his works when the Bible ties stealing, killing and destruction to him.
"The thief comes not but to steal, kill and destroy..."
His main reason for patronizing anyone in the uniform and disguise of a thief is to achieve all those. To remove something from people's lives, causes them to be deaden, desensitized, de-spiritualized and deactivated from fellowship from God. Once these are achieved, he could come in anytime and any day to wreck his victim and lead them to any extent of destruction. At this stage, his victims experience decline and destruction at a fast velocity. They just wonder why things keep happening to them without rest. Before they're done settling and recovering from one, another has happened. That's the devil trying to keep his victim distracted and busy at the same time. At such a level, you need the intervention of an anointed man of God to take hold with you or better still another Christian that's well established.
In I Kings 3:19-20, a woman narrates her woe to King Solomon. She sleeps with a living son but wakes up with a dead child, one who's not hers when she considers it in the morning light. Thank you for light that exposes and for her attention to details. The woman who rightly owns the dead child replaces hers with the living by moving subtly when the other was fast asleep. "Sleep" there metaphorically talks of desensitization. It was at the low moment of the other woman when she knew she couldn't confront or hinder her work that she moved in to steal her living child.
Thank God for God's justice and wisdom in Solomon. The sword was ordered for and immediately, there was discernment of whose child it is. Immediately, a return was made.
I am also here as God's anointed servant and as king sent and set to settle spiritual disputes. What has been stolen from you and for which you have addressed your matter to God, let it receive a restoration of God now!
PRAYER: I receive back my salvation, assurance, goods, health, grace, beauty, joy, promotion and any good thing stolen by the devil.
