MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL - Olusola & Oreoluwa ADEJUMO

THE TURNING POINT - Beyond The Common Series 003

II Corinthians 5:16, ESV

"From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer."

Like I started out with in the first series, I made you see that there was a time that Apostle Paul and even some other disciples might have had no other view or perception of Jesus but that of a mere mortal - as in, a man like ourselves. They could have called Him a rabbi, believed and respected Him as one. Things might not have transcended that. As a matter of fact, Jesus once knew this was true of many people. On an occasion, He therefore asked who the people were saying He was. Come and hear a lot of responses.

Matthew 16:14-17, KJV

"14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven."

Did you see that? Look at the multitude of things and titles Jesus was being called by different people. Each and everyone of the masses in His day held a view of Him. Some would say, "Kai, what a Jeremiah!" Another would declare, "He's John the Baptist no doubt." But does all these captions capture Jesus, or who He really is indeed and in truth. None actually does until Peter declares Him. As Jesus recognized of Peter, his declaration of Him was aided because of a revelation granted him to know who He (Christ is) truly.

It therefore means, it's possible to have someone so close to you yet misconstruing or misrepresenting who they are. The side that some have come to grab or grip of people may just be the wrong side. What they called their revelation of people may be human, biased, prejudiced and unhealthy. Unless it is corrected, you may not be able to relate or receive those people correctly or in the shade they're destined to be received or welcomed. That's why we have a verse like this written.

Matthew 10:41, KJV

"He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward."

Did you see that? It means He that receives Christ as the Son of God will also receive its reward. It means any that receives Christ as the dead and risen Lord will also receive its reward. For one last time, I'm led to query you. Are you seeing Jesus as one of the prophets or your Lord and Savior? Let's settle once and for all the core of our belief which will be your belief once you believe in Christ. It is what you believe and in what capacity you believe that'll determine what blessing you'll receive. You can believe any prophet but believing in any of them won't grant you eternal life. A belief in Jesus only does (Rom. 6:23, John 3:16). May God grant you a revelation of Christ like He granted Peter that you may know Him as Lord and Savior. May flesh and blood be dethroned (or diminished) in your life, so that you can have a penetrating light into what Christ really measures and who He really is. I proclaim once more, "He's the Son of the living God - the Saviour of the whole world, the eternal life" (I John 1:2, I John 5:20).

PRAYER: Lord, let me have penetration into the knowledge of who You are. Let me see You as the Son of God - the dead and risen Christ. May sinners see and be turned!

STOP REGARDING AFTER THE FLESH - Beyond The Common Series 002

II Corinthians 5:16, KJV

"Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more."

Stop regarding after the flesh. If you keep at that, you can't but miss who and what God has prepared for you that you need a little probing, patience and perception to uncover.

One of my prayers for you is that you'll have an anointed heart and eyes that sniffs into the divine side of things. Every human being has two sides or dimensions. The outward-physical and the divine-spiritual (who they are in their calling or in the spirit). Often, our physical senses can override our perception. You must know what the physical senses can and can't do. The physical senses: sight (vision), hearing (audition), smell (olfaction), taste (gustation) and touch (tactile sense) are the ways your body receives and processes information about the world (and itself) through specialized organs and nerves. Traditionally, we talk about those five but modern science recognizes that humans actually have more than five senses, because your body also detects other things like balance (equilibrioception) - sense of balance and movement, from the inner ear; body position (proprioception) - awareness of where your body parts are without looking; temperature (thermoception) - sensing heat and cold; pain (nociception) - sensing harmful stimuli (injury, extreme heat, etc.) and internal body signals (interoception) - awareness of hunger, thirst, heartbeat, breathing, need to urinate etc.

We can of course become so used to these senses that we neither have awareness of another sense - perception or grow it. However, familiarity of use can make us substitute the physical senses for antennas in discerning spiritual things. And spiritual things? They're spiritually discerned! God is therefore calling some of you to the adjusting of your lenses and perspectives on people and even views. The Bible has this to say about the chief of senses.

Mark 4:11-12, KJV

"11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them."

You are not without but within - in the sheepfold. You're of Christ. You're born again (John 1:12). You've been translated into the kingdom of His dear son (Col.1:13). You've been sealed with the Holy Ghost (Eph.1:13). Therefore, you have a different status. In seeing, you will see and perceive; in hearing, you'll hear and understand! You'll understand what God is bringing your way. You'll grab what the preacher and messengers of Christ are reporting!

You'll perceive! Henceforth, I unblock your ears and debug you free of errors. Where you've become sloppy - spiritually deadened and deaf, I call forth a new life. I till your land into regeneration in the name of Jesus! Put God's Word in your mouth. Say, "in seeing I will see and in hearing I will hear - to understand."

When this happens to sinners or unbelievers, it doesn't matter how far gone they are. They will ask the preacher, "Brethren, what shall we do? (Acts 2:37)." They'll be cut deep to their hearts and seek repentance like it's air in their lungs. Repentance doesn't just come to sinners. They need revelation - a seeing beyond what appears and a hearing beyond what's audible from the speakers. That's what converted anyone. Until then, no one is turned. Until the veil is taken away, it'll be, "in seeing they will see and not perceive and in hearing they will hear and not understand" (Mark 4:12). Why? This verse has the answer.

I Corinthians 2:14, KJV

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

Holy Spirit, I let you loose. Invade lives today and turn them around. Give sinners the revelation of Christ Jesus, His death and resurrection and bring them into the fold. For anyone who'll understand and repent, forgiveness awaits him surely. Amen!

PRAYER: Lord, let me see beyond the veil of my physical senses and limitation. I have the third eye - seeing into what seethes below. We pray for sinners [mention names of those you know] and pray for their salvation.

CHRIST JESUS: A MAN OR A SAVIOUR? - Beyond The Common Series 001

II Corinthians 5:16, KJV

"Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more."

Can you answer that Spirit posed question? Christ Jesus: a man or a Saviour? Who's He to you?

Don't let it baffle you that despite the much preachings and the revelation of Christ to the world as Saviour and Lord - He who will save the people from their sins (Matthew 1:21), many still see, regard and take Him for a mere man. Their conclusion of Him is that Jesus is 'Jesus.' That is, Jesus is not different from any of us. At best, call Him a prophet. He's neither the Son of God nor the long awaited salvation and Saviour of the whole world (Rom.5:8).

But that's what today's verse is here to correct. It's Brother Paul speaking in that verse. Brother Paul Himself might have known or regarded Christ after the flesh - as a common man like any other man. Don't forget that before the Acts 9 incident where Paul had an encounter with Jesus, he persecuted Him, talked down on Him because he didn't have Jesus' revelation. He thought He was just one of the prophets or 'hot cake' drawing men after Himself.

Paul at best could have called Jesus a great teacher. Irrespective of what anyone calls Him, that doesn't hit it until there's an acknowledgement that He is God and the Saviour of mankind. Until you recognize that Jesus is the sacrifice for the sins of the whole world, believing it, you're still joking irrespective of what picture of Him you painted in your mind or to people. If you like, call him master, teacher or good pastor. All those are good but have you come to recognize that He died for your own sins and that without believing in Him, you can't but partake in the second death (John 3:16).

Stop regarding Christ in the form of His human or earthly forms. He's beyond all those. He is the dead and risen Christ - your Lord and Savior. He's not a commoner seen through fleshly eyes. He's more. He's the Way to the Father - the door of the Sheepfold (John 14:6, John 10:9). Nobody can come unto the Father except they pass through Him. You cannot have salvation and hope of eternal life except you believe in Him. No other person is the authenticated way. That's why He called Himself the way, the door. These two usages presuppose that there's no other way or door even if there are those claiming there are still some. At best, those are false. That's why Jesus says, "all who ever came before me are thieves and robbers but the sheep didn't heed them" (John 10:8).

How have you been perceiving Christ? A mere man who once walked on this earth or the One who died and rose to pay for your salvation? That's His divine side. You'd better see Him so in order to be a beneficiary of that divine and supernatural side of His. Or else, you'll miss eternal life.

Ooh, how I rejoice that Christ is far more than His human appearance. He has a spiritual side that opens us to many spiritual blessings. If you're there, you can dispose yourself to His divine side just by believing He died and rose again just for you. If you do, confess after me, "Lord Jesus, I believe you died and rose again just for me. I'm sorry as I plead for your forgiveness for having lived without acknowledging this till now. Here I am, come into my heart."

PRAYER/CONFESSION: I believe in Jesus Christ, the only Son of God who died and rose again on the third day. I believe and I partake of all the blessings brought by His death and resurrection.

ONE THING TO ASSURE YOUR KIDS OF WHETHER YOU'RE AWARE OR AREN'T OF THE DAY OF YOUR SEPARATION FROM THEM

ONE THING TO ASSURE YOUR KIDS OF WHETHER YOU'RE AWARE OR AREN'T OF THE DAY OF YOUR SEPARATION FROM THEM

The ultimate separation is death! It is usually painful, creating voids to fill [whether timely or untimely]! Or let me ask you, what else is strong enough to separate loving parents from their kids? Is it travelling abroad? Even at that, contact and communication can still be established.

However, death is a reason to prepare and anchor their hope on God.

We are not praying for that but even if that happens or if they'll never see you again, always give them an anchor and a reason to hope for survival and their eventual succeeding even when there's no level playing field.

Tell them that even if you won't be there, God will be. The Bible speaking true concerning Joseph says, "And the Lord was with Joseph" (Gen. 39:2).

That was in a foreign land! It happened in Egypt! That was abroad - supposedly where it snows heavily and their food is seriously leafy. That was where Joseph knew nobody. That was where he had no change of clothing. That was where he had no clinking coins in his pocket let alone dreamt of owning a purse. There was no brother, father or relative to turn to. Nothing fits his description but these verses below that show loneliness amidst ruins. His confession could have just been so.

Psalms 102:6-7, KJV

"6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert. 7 I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top."

Against this great odd and disaster, God's voice pierces through "as being with him." When all is lost, faded and cannot stay, may God's voice be heralded around you and your seeds. How sweet the moment is for those who have afore time cultivated the presence of God?

That assurance of "He is with me" is weightier and greater than having command of the treasures of darkness. It's to be cherished above having one's physical parents by one's side. Many there be who have parents alive but who don't command God's presence or favour. As such, they suffer. As such, they're limited only to the doors their earthly parents could open and the favour they could only enchant. In other matters of life that they can neither wield power, wealth nor connection, it is pencils up for them on those occasions!

However, Joseph's is a different case. Though still with a living father and relatives, he's nothing but an orphan in Egypt. He's not different from one in reality since he has none as an ally at that present time. The only consolation he carries as a rod and staff comforting him is, "And the Lord was with Joseph." Often in the dark nights when he had to pray, the assurance that flooded his heart was, "I am with you."

This became a confidence that made him plough on without worry until he was noticed for his hard work. Where others had not gotten over their situations, he had been consoled because he had received a witness that his life is custodied in God's hands and it'll not be forfeited.

Tell your kids - when I am not there, God will be there with/for you. As a matter of fact, He'll be there before you arrive. He'll anticipate you before you can ever take one thought for yourself or think of a need in your life. God may be invisible but His works are visible and could be felt or seen when they're wrought. That's how they'll know God is with them. For instance, look at how Joseph knew God was with him.

Genesis 39:2-4, KJV

"2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand."

Tell your kids, where there's no one to defend them; a mouth to speak for them or a chest to beat itself for their needs, there'll always be an equation and a string that will be pulled by God's unseen hands to make men put them in charge.

The virtue of hard work that they have learnt, coupled with the favour of God and His covenant of, "I'll never leave you nor forsake you" (Heb.13:5), will make them have uncontested favours before those who matter. As such, they'll seek them out because things live, prosper and flourish in their hands.

This is how step by step God ascended Joseph. God will always be with them. He'll be their parents. He'll be their sponsor. He'll be their surety and down-payment in every situation.

You probably will like to see this taken further. Consider Moses - Baby Moses being released into God's hands just at three months old.

That's a dangerous venture that no parent willingly takes unless forced. Yet, it speaks of faith and surrendering because they yielded Moses to God's hands after he had accomplished his time of custody with them. In essence, as the colt touches the Nile, they were saying, "God, take over. Remember your covenant with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and take over this boy." Today, through Christ we enter and win the favour of God (Philip. 2:9-11). In Jesus' name, all is well!

You can always tell your kids that in case an incident happens that snatches you away from them or makes a forced separation - they can trust God to show up where they least expected.

You can assure them that if Moses was not swallowed up by the Nile or the beasts in it, then they also cannot be swallowed up. Rather, God will stir hearts, hasten steps and direct gazes to look in their direction.

For short, they'll find adoption. Even people that don't know them will adopt them. I like telling the story of my adoption at different junctures of my life, where people sponsored me and provided for my needs where I was like a sparrow on the housetop. That thing is real. God can raise fathers and mothers up for you even in those you have not known from Adam.

He did for Joseph in Egypt. God raised Potiphar for him. He just took interest in him, adopted him and trusted him beyond how anyone should have trusted a servant. The Bible says, "He only minds what he eats" (Gen. 39:6).

The same happened to Moses also. He lived under the cover of the man who had declared his death, spent his resources and basked in his privileges. Pharaoh's daughter and consequently this terrifying Pharaoh adopted him. How wise the foolishness of God that went to hide Moses where we believe he couldn't have been safe!

Let them see God's great salvation. That's why while alive you must point them to Christ. Let them see that God is their ultimate parent and it's out of what He gives you that you give to them.

This way, they won't have the unnecessary fear of death taking you away or of forced separation that besets some kids, adolescents and even certain adults. They are open to such fear because they don't know that God is the Master and the ultimate Theatre Director of their lives. Only if their parents had told them that not having a parent or a physical sponsor is not the end of the world - if one has God sincerely.

The script of your life is in God's hands. That includes your kids' and it only unfolds as God plays it. God knew what He was doing when He allowed Moses to be born at a time when male children were being cast into the Nile. Rather, what should cement his own death became the vehicle for his salvation. He met favour as he wept. He commanded the compassion of Pharaoh's daughter (who acknowledged he's one of the Hebrew's children) and though knowing this, still drew him out of the water - saving him (Exo.2:6).

Brethren, there's no reason why your kids should fear forced separation if their gazes have been directed to God - the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who can keep everything that's committed to Him without losing it.

And though you're still with them in the body, don't cling to them. You can make for them a coat of many colours. You can take for them an ark made of bullrushes, water tightening it. All these will prove your care and show your great love for them. God expects you to do all these as a steward He has given them to.

However, don't withhold from releasing them into God's hands. Don't gnash at God's own plan to pay the bills that concern them nor restrict God to your reserve of wealth or provision only. He can do exceedingly beyond what you can ever think or imagine!

They are not yours. As a matter of fact, God said I should tell some parents to forebear who have claimed the lives of their kids as theirs - and haven't regarded God as to enquire what His will or plan is for them. God said, "that's part of not releasing them to the waters."

That shows your unbelief in God. You too can stand aloof like Miriam to prove God's faithfulness (Exo.2:4,7). Prove God if He won't live up to His name - faithful! You didn't respect nor believe I could take care of them. That's why you haven't yielded them up. That's why you haven't carefully let go of the rope or release the basket to swim in the direction I'll ordain and orchestrate to bring about my plans.

God is saying you're still struggling with Him and if you continue like this, you can actually be taken so that God can liberally chairs and decide where to paddle them.

People of God, there's no reason to fear. Commit your Moses to the waters and God will pick him up. Your Joseph might look like a seed lost in the earth but you'll see Him again. Like yam setts buried under the ebb or a wheat of corn that falls deep in the soil to bring forth plentifully - so shall your reward and receiving them back be but only if you can first yield them up.

This is God's Word and promise to those who'll take the risk, be 'frivolous', 'unconcerned' or unperturbed to commit to God.

I know a better paddle that stirs the course of our lives to where it should turn. He's God and He'll guide your wards into God's unwavering adopting hands!

WHY YOU SHOULD LISTEN AGAIN TO THAT SERMON OR SONG?

WHY YOU SHOULD LISTEN AGAIN TO THAT SERMON OR SONG?

On The 21st Of September, That Was Some Days Ago, Something Reoccurring Happened. "Reoccurring" In The Sense That I Have Had That Experience Afore Times.

As I Was Writing The Devotional I Titled "Don't Patch It", I Arrived At A Place In That Message Where I Mentioned That, "The Unction Teaches Us." As I Stepped On That Shore And Mentioned The Word "Unction", A Special Remembrance Hits Me Of A Sermon Preached By Rev. Olusola Areogun Where The Unction & Its Manifestation Was Taught.

Arriving With That Remembrance Is A New Or Renewed Excitement And Anointing Plus A Special Moment Of Understanding/Insight Like Of One Caught Up In A Trance Or To God's Presence.

Since 21st, I've Gone Back To My Laptop Where All His Sermons Were Downloaded & Saved But I've Not Been Able To Track Down That Particular Sermon. And I Knew God Recalled That Sermon To Me Because He Wanted Me To Listen To It Again And Be Blessed By It.

But Beyond That, There Are Other Intents. God May Want Me To Listen And Listen Again To Receive An Impartation Or Catch The Spirit Of That Message. Don't Forget That Anointed Words Spoken Are Spirit & Life (John 6:63). That's What That Capsule Contains Or Houses And Is Deliverable To Any Who Contacts It.  This Is Why You Must Seek To Read Or Listen To Anointed Teachings. It Has Power Of Effect Over You - To Consequently Change You. It Can Build You Up Or Break You Down Until You See Your Wretchedness In Sin & Come To God In Godly Sorrow.

So, What Was God Trying To Do? He's Trying To Offer Me A Desk Or Platform To Connect To For An Impartation. It Seems God May Be Of The Opinion That I Needed Impartation Or Ministration In A Particular Line (That I Myself May Not Know Or Be Acquainted With).

John 6:63, KJV

"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."

DID You Hear That? What Quickens? The Spirit!

To Quicken Means To "Stir, Hasten, Rouse, Enable, Empower, Birth, Deliver Into An Experience Or A Status Or Position." Quicken Also Means "To Make Come Alive Or Give Life To Or Give Eternal Life To."

So, In Listening Or Relistening To That Message, God May Want To Cause Life, Inspire, Breathe Or Use It To Move Me Or In Me. For Short, It May Even Be To Spark & Sparkle, Kindle & Rekindle The Eternal Life In Me Or Set It On Motion. Like Pouring Fuel On Fire That's Already Burning. It'll Blaze More.

It's Like Watering Or Letting The Chlorophyll In Any Green Plant Trap Sunlight While Making Use Of Carbon Dioxide & Oxygen [Hope I Got That Definition Of Photosynthesis. Na Secondary School Days Definition I Still Dey Carry Around].

And Until Then, All Those Things That Could Happen Won't Fall. I Know That From The Bible As I've Shown You & By Experiences. I Have Had That Experience Often.

I Still Had It Earlier Today. The Lawrence Oyor Song That I Posted Today Was Triggered By A Teaching Somewhere & The Mentioning Of The Song Of Solomon. So, I Went To Redownload It Since I Didn't Even Know Where I Kept My First Download.

I've Listened To That Song More Than 50 Times Today. I Therefore Gave God The Handle To Move & Do Whatsoever He Wanted To Do To Me Through It.

The Same Applies To My Earlier Teaching Which I Did On The 23rd Of June But Which I Recalled.

It Was The Mention Of Ministry Offices And Some Anomalies Around Them That Brought That One. So, I Went Back To Fetch It. I've Read That More Than Twice Since I Recalled It Again.

I Therefore Gave God The Handle To Reconcretize Truth In Me & Let My Spirit Be Refreshed.

I Believe You Too Must Have Experienced & Had This Often.

Did You Go Back To Those Materials? If It Was A Song, Did You Ask Those Who Could Have It In order To Rejoice In It For The Time Being And Have God Do What He Could Do Through It To You. I'm Hearing A Bible Verse In My Spirit! Let Me Post It.

John 5:35, KJV - "He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light."

If You Don't Know, You Renew Your Spirituality Before God. That's Why We Have A Verse Of The Bible That Talks About "Mind Renewal" (Rom.12:2).

That Of Yesterday Or Yesteryears Is Never Enough. If You Stop Renewing, Corruption & Debasement Of The World Would Catch Up With You And Before You Know It, You'll Begin To Conform To The World In A Twinkle Of An Eye Instead Of Being Transformed From The Inside By The Renewing Of Your Mind. It Is This Transformation That'll Then Birth Uncommon But Biblical Responses & Actions That You'll Be Taking That'll Amuse Others & Contradict The Lifestyle Of Others Who Are Living As The World & In Conformation To Its Trends.

But Let's Go Back To That John I Afore Quoted Without Teaching Or Explaining It.

You Remember I Was Talking Of Something Spiritual [That Has Light Or A Spiritual Blessing To Give] That God Could Send You To Go Back To For Certain Defined Purposes.

But Then, Those Things Are Meant For A Moment In Time. It's Like Seeking To Cross A Body Of f Water And Finding A Canoe In Time Just For That. If Another Need Arose In The Future, Let's Say Of Climbing The Mountain, The Solution Provider In God Would Have To Provide Another Fitting Solution And Cut A Cloth To Size For That One Too.

So, Jesus Calls John "A Burning And A Shining Light" That His Audience Were Willing For A Season [Definitive Moment] To Rejoice In His Light [That Is, They Were Excited, Believing & Willing To Take His Message As Instructions Or Guidance For Their Path & Life]. But All This Happened For Awhile.

It Happened Until The Son Of God That Has Been Foretold And Testified Of By John Arrived.

Don't Forget That Jesus Is The Light Of The World! The Better Light. The One John Pointed The People To As Coming After Him But Who Is Better And Preferred Above John.

In Jesus, Everything Culminates And Finishes. He's The Perfect Light [Not To Rejoice In For A Season Like John's Imperfect Light] But Forever As The Signalled & Revealed Light Or Model.

Let's Read How Even John [That Was Described By Jesus As A Burning & A Shining Light Which People Were Willing To Follow Or Take After] Pointed To Jesus' Coming/Arrival.

Luke 3:15-16, KJV - "15 And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not; 16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:"

Now, Let Me Ask You, Who Has The Promise Of Delivering Better Things Deducing From Our Reading So Far?

John Or Jesus?

Obviously Jesus! John Pointed To Him As He That's Preferred Above Him Who'll Baptize People With The Holy Spirit & Fire. At This Time, The Only Thing John Was Doing Is Water Baptism For Repentance Of Sins. Imagine That! That's Like Comparing Gold In Its Quality To Aluminum! One Will Fade For The Other.

As A Matter Of Fact, There's Even A Verse That Explains Why John Came Baptizing. Let Me Let You Read That Yourself First Of All Before I Raze It Down With Dividing & Exposition.

John 1:31, KJV - "And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water."

DID You See That? John Said He Doesn't Know The Christ But He Had A Mark Given Him By God To Trail Him Down & Identify Him Amidst Many People.

John 1:32-34, KJV - "32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God."

DID You See How John Was Able To Know That Jesus (Though His Own Cousin) Is The Christ?

The Anointed May Be Someone That You Know But You Need Certain Signs For Identification. Else, You'll Trivialize Him Or Her. Unless God Introduces People To You, You'll Still Regard Them In The Flesh. But The Bible Has This To Say About Not Regarding People In The Flesh.

II Corinthians 5:16, KJV "Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more."

To Continue With John The Baptizer, You'll See That The Entire Ministry Of John Was Given Him Just Because Of One Person - Jesus & The Identification Of Him As The Christ.

That's Why John Had To Be Born. That's Why John Is Popularly Also Called Christ's Forerunner.

He Prepared & Revealed Him To The People Of His Time. He Introduced Jesus Into "The Body Of Christ" If You'll Say It That Way If It Were Today. He Affirmed Jesus' Blooming Ministry And People Began To Leave Him To Even Go To Jesus.

John 1:35-37, KJV - "35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; 36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! 37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus."

Look At Consequences All About John! What A Consequence For John! His Testimony Brought Ruins To Him And He Recognized That Himself.

When Certain Of His Disciples Brought Up Words Of Envy, Jealousy And Contention Concerning Jesus Baptizing More Than John & All People Going To Jesus, He Said One Thing Summarily, "I Must Decrease; He Must Increase."

John 3:25-28, KJV - "25 Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. 26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him. 27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. 28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him."

John 3:29-30, KJV - "29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. 30 He must increase, but I must decrease."

Did you see our arrival now? Are you satisfied and your quest quenched now?

The next question you may ask is, "why did you too go back to your teachings [the ones you do by yourself to re-read them?]

The Truth Is This, When The Anointing Is On Me, I Come Under Special Inspiration To Author. As I Do, The Spirit Do Bypass My Residual Knowledge Or Acumen To Speak Or Write. He Does This By Speaking As Thoughts In Me To Me When He Gives Me Trains Of Choice Of Words (Vocabulary), Scriptures & Specific Verses Of The Bible To Leverage And Explanation That Are Beyond My Fathom For Teaching.

In Such Situation, If I'll Grow My Own Spirit And Feed It Too, I Have To Go Back To What God Said [Though Through Me] But Which I Was Not All Aware Of Nor Really Conceptualized Or Thought About At Writing When He Said Them Or Gave Them To It.

That's What Makes Someone's Teaching Revelatory, Full Of Life, Energy, Dynamo And Turbo (Speed Of Effect) To Affect And Achieve All Sorts As God Will Be Pleased.

Brethren, This Thing Is Not Really And Totally Mastery.

Not That I've Afore Thought Or Reasoned Out All I Wrote Now Out Before Setting Out. I Never Knew I Would Teach All These I Taught And Go This Far. It's Rather God Aiding His Servant. It's Not By Power Nor By Might But By His Spirit says the Lord Of Hosts (Zech.4:6). Even The Lord God Of Hosts Is Affirming And Asking You To Believe That Sincerity. Don't Doubt It. That's Not A Cook Up!

May We Not Take For Granted The Food & Wine God Wants Us To Rejoice In For A Season!

May We Hear And Be  Prompt!

When Called, Reminded Or Given Witnesses On Such, May We Hastily Go To The Living Water And Quench Our Thirst.

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL - Olusola & Oreoluwa ADEJUMO

SOLVING KNOTTY QUESTIONS

Read Matthew 22:23-33

Matthew 22:28, KJV "Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her."

Before they asked their questions, may you have read the manual. May you have known what the manual said or prescribed as the right practice.

At such times, no cause for fear. What is inflated is rather easily deflated by you. That's the kind of wisdom you're receiving when you read doctrinal teachings that are soaked in the anointing. You'll simply have answers for life. Nothing will be able to beat you or catch you unconsciously.

The Sadducees - the sect that believes that there's no resurrection of the dead came to Jesus to test, pose and prove Him with a hard question. All professionals and masters in what they do, when you are proven with hard questions or problems, may you excel - always having answers. The day you're designated as a master is the day some devils and questions will begin to patronize you. They'll say, "let's prove him to see if he only has a name or indeed the mastery?" But Jesus was not confused. He is ever ready. He's like a loaded gun that awaits what situation will call forth a bullet from Him. May you be this ready.

You've read our text. You know how knotty their question was. There were seven brothers who were married to one wife successively but the wife produced no offspring until she died. In the resurrection, whose wife of the seven brothers would she be?

Their construct is derived from what Moses gave them as a command that a brother should marry the wife of his dead brother to raise seeds for him (Deut.25:5-6). However, they created a knotty question out of this in order to perturb, disturb, frustrate, destabilize, measure and grade the Master as beneath them. If you're observant, you'll see that the kind of equation they formed out of the construct of what Moses commanded is a raised to power seven question. They intentionally made it so as to make it as confusing as possible. However, what does the Bible say?

Proverbs 1:17, KJV

"Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird."

Jesus had the answer at hand before they asked. Why? He knows what God has said concerning the resurrection of the dead and what their lives would be in the resurrection. So, He could tell them that in the resurrection, there'll be no marriage. And as simple as that was, it settled and solved the well knitted problem that is raised to power seven that they brought to trap Him.

If Jesus had not known the doctrine very well, He could have been puzzled. However, He has settled that long time before stepping out. The question is, "what are the foundations of your belief? Do you know Biblical doctrines?" If you don't as a Christian, you'll easily be tossed to and fro. You'll even avoid debates and the new generational Sadducees who would prove you with hard questions at the work place. You'll call them troublesome and bear your shame about - deep down in you that you have no answer to their question or constructed problem - for which you have deliberately avoided them.

I'm praying for all students and anyone still trying to prove himself or herself academically somewhere. This is how questions will be simple before you. It'll be that out of the due diligence you have given to study, nothing shall be asked that'll overburden or overbug your mind. You'll always have it in control. Those mathematical equations that the World Board on Mathematics and Science had declared knotty and unsolvable shall be solved by you. The answers will come to you. The know-how will visit you. You'll see a hand writing on the wall that'll instruct on what you shall answer with. So shall it be. Every question, problem or difficulty will be a net set before you. How can you then walk into such trap?

PRAYER: Give me the humility of a seeker and the diligence of a divider of God's Word of Truth. Nothing puzzles me. I have it all under control.

NO MORE FIGHTING OVER LIMITED RESOURCES - For The Sake Of A Room Series 005

Genesis 26:22, KJV

"And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land."

Isaac was contended with how many times? Two times! Those two times were when he dug and they seized his wells (Gen. 26:19-21).

I wonder what sort of neighbours the Philistines were. Have you had an encounter with such people before? Irrespective of what you say or do, you're always wrong. Even when you keep quiet, you'll still be wrong. That's a strong spirit of contention that you'll need to bind and cast out. The Bible speaking in Psalms 120:5-7 says, "5 woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar! 6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. 7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war."

Imagine that experience. It takes strength from God not to be tired. These are humans that the devil is manifesting through in order to vex you.

Why did they contend for the two wells Isaac dug and consequently gained the lands or surroundings where the wells were dug? It may be because they still don't want Isaac to be near them. They may fear the Spirit and the Lord who's with him. That's what Abimelech feared in the life of Abraham before they came to cut a covenant with him once (Gen.21:22-23). They were afraid of him growing bigger and encroaching into them. So, they'll rather send Isaac away to a farther place. They know that if they make no room for him, he'll keep moving on.

You know, Sarah requested the same thing though without being in fear of what Ishmael could become. She said to Abraham, "send away the child of the bond woman" (Gen. 21:10). She simply doesn't want any competition or interference with her family affairs. She wanted the family to be nuclear - Abraham, herself and their son!

So, the Philistines here could have shifted and persisted in shifting Isaac because they wanted to send him far off. To their mind, that's how to get rid of someone you don't want to see. They know they couldn't touch or kill him but their hatred for him reveals itself in their not accommodating him or making space for him anywhere near them.

If both of them had continued in that land, it could have gotten to where Abraham and Lot got to where their herdmen fought over land and space having increased greatly (Gen.13:6-7).

When Isaac got to Rehoboth - the revelation was simple. Nobody came to argue a well with him. Nobody contested the land with him. He rather found rest. He found settlement. It means all the resources in that new settlement is Isaac's. The green herbs and the fertile soil are all his. If there are resources in the ground, it means they are his. In Rehoboth, there are no more fightings caused by fear of limited resources. Rather, one is let alone to eat the good of the land. May you be tossed to such a place!

PRAYER: All arguments, jangling, opposition and rivalry end over me now. I enter into my possession and I know sweet rest.
