TAKING THE WISE IN THEIR OWN CRAFTINESS - The Lying Mouth Series 006

Job 5:13, KJV

"He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong."

You're above enchantment, divination, spell, magic and whatsoever the devil or his children may manufacture to hurt men. Let them gather or manufacture their poisons, they'll be shocked at the Lord's outwork when He alights on them. 

Today, God is catching the wise in their own craftiness. God will be apprehending those fashioning their wisdom against you today. God will wrap them up in their own cloak and the devices they have installed for your downfall is the same instrument by which they'll fall. The Bible says, "he who digs a pit shall fall therein" (Eccl.10:8). 

God is not only a frustrator of your conspirators but He could come on people suddenly where they are cooking their evil, turning their pots on them. God can make them see their humanity, discover their shame and limitedness. When that place says, "He takes the wise in their own craftiness", it means to seize, apprehend, alight suddenly on. It means God shall come on them unannounced and unexpectedly. These verses reinforce that message. 

Job 1:14–15, KJV

"14 And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them:

15 And the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away..."

Have you been caught stealing before? What happened? Your heart probably stopped immediately and you were stunned. If it was possible, you wanted and might have prayed to enter the ground. You were not expecting to receive a witness or get discovered but unfortunately for you, what you're doing is now before the public. It has been exposed. That's the greatest fear of any thief, worker of iniquity or evil worker. As long as his schemes and plans are in secret and not discovered, he cannot be disturbed let alone thwarted. But that place is introducing the Lord to us as the One who suddenly alights or falls on the cunning while running his evil scheme. See this place. 

"And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set" (Gen.28:11). 

That refers to Jacob. It means he came to a particular place. However, the meaning in that context goes beyond just arriving at a location. It means to stumble unplanned on, to encounter, to meet unexpectedly, to come upon, to strike upon,

to happen upon, to alight upon."

There's a God who observes the sons of men. He's your God and your watcher. At this time that I speak, God is happening to the crafty in your life and catching them in their craftiness unawares. People are being exposed as I speak. They'll begin to confess to your surprise like parrots. Let hidden battles that you've been fighting be chanced upon by the Lord. Your plotters will be stunned when the Lord meets them - seeing Him eyeball to eyeball in the act. They'll be so broken and disappointed that their devices and enterprise will be broken down. Why? There's a God that will abruptly interject or come upon them unawares. His arrival alone is enough to scare them away. I believe that's what happened to the Syrians. The Bible has this to say about them when they hear the noise of many chariots and horses which they mistook for hired mercenaries. 

II Kings 7:7, KJV

"Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life."

They arose and fled. They so much fled for their lives that the Bible says they cast off the weight on them so they could secure a fast escape (II Kings 7:15). 

When God comes face to face with those troubling you, they'll melt, be discovered, scared, apprehended and become apprehensive. That's the technique God is using to battle all your trouble and troublers right away. 

PRAYER: Lord, chance and alight upon my conspirators. Discover their nakedness and let them see their limitedness.
