FORMED AND FASHIONED WEAPONS - The Lying Mouth Series 005

Isaiah 54:17, KJV

"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD."

Yesterday, you saw how God will frustrate the devices - active plan, bewitchment or desires of the crafty over you. It'll be so foiled that their hands will not be able to achieve the purpose for which they have set out in business. God is a frustrator of weapons of war. That's what Job 5:12 calls "devices of the crafty." 

Today, God is taking us further. He is offering you a fresh reassurance that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. The next question should be, "could weapons be formed against someone?"

Yes of course. Let's take physical and ancient weapons like swords or spears for instance. They are usually made, formed or fashioned and then launched at their intended target. Each of those instruments has its specific purpose and target. While the sword is usually for close attacking combat, the spear/arrow is to reach out to an enemy on long range. You can engineer and then actively throw a dagger or weave it to a certain end. Today, we have MANPADS or shoulder-fired-surface to-air-missiles (SAMs). These are specially crafted deterrents used in modern warfare specifically against low-flying helicopters, aircraft taking off or landing and some low-altitude drones. The intention is to destroy them as soon as they are sighted. They are usually rested on the shoulder and fired at their aim. They are made or formed for that specific purpose. I believe before they existed, somebody thought of combating low flying aircraft. So, that need drove them to the engineering room until something handy and portable was forged that could serve as a deterrent to low altitude aircraft. It's that idea that's first being passed in today's message. God is saying, "nothing carefully cooked, specifically formed, diligently crafted, coven or laboratory fashioned, dexterously woven, sagaciously fabricated or intentionally tailored made against you shall prosper when eventually launched at you." I'm hearing cases of rape. Have you been wrongly accused of rape or abuse? The Lord is scattering and vindicating you of such a case. 

It is after the cook up that we'll have the physical fashioning or sending of weapons at a perceived threat or target. As it is in the physical, so it is in the spiritual. Spiritual realities can be fashioned (carefully made and sent) against you. You may not be able to see them with your physical eyes except your eyes are open. Yet, they are real. If words are spoken against you by someone with authority - whether a God given or satanic authority, that word can change your direction or influence your end/outcome. Immediately, spirits or angels will be released into the atmosphere to ensure the spoken word comes to pass, either for good or bad. That's what happens with the prophecy of Elisha over Samaria. That prophecy eventually breaks the famine. As soon as, "by this time tomorrow there shall be abundance (II Kings 7:1)" was spoken, God immediately went to town and began to strategize how to fulfill it. He found the right strategy to use by misleading the Syrians to believe a horde of armies have been hired against them. The result was that they fled while their camp was left behind and looted. 

I think while we know that a knife could cut, a lot of us are still oblivious that words could cut/hurt also. If we do, we'll be careful what we say or have people say to us. That's why James describes the tongue as something to bridle and use positively if your life will ever have a good outcome. Your tongue he says has the power to control your entire cycle of life (James 3:6). See how powerful the ordinary and average human tongue is let alone the uttered speech of an anointed minister like myself or others. Imagine how powerful and effective they are when the zeal of the Lord now hasten or assist them.

Again, that place says, "no weapon, device, craft, incantation, bewitchment, spell, slander, libel, accusation, railing etc fashioned against you shall prosper." God knows everything the devil could carefully make or cook up. Everything is summarized in Deuteronomy 32:31-35 but they are under God's mastery. 

God is saying, "no weapon formed against you shall prosper." No weapon means any weapon that it might be. Any wisdom, strategy or counsel. Whether you know it or not, God is saying it won't prosper or prevail over you at its release. It means it'll be squashed, foiled, debated and countered, terminated and oppressed, shut down and deactivated. Opposition may come, conspiracy may be formed, weapons may be fashioned and false accusations may arise against you but those plans will not ultimately prevail because God will shelter you by destroying them as soon as they are shot at you. Instead of them having a happy ending over you, they'll be cut short and demolished. That's what's happening to every weapon formed (made), launched (sent) and commissioned (recruited) against you. Their end is that they'll fall and perish and guess what, you don't have to actively labour to see that come to pass. That same verse says, "it is your inheritance from the Lord." The one who will effect it and justify you is the Lord. Look, you're saved from every pit and evil disguise. Weapons of war perish for your sake and you're saved from every miry pit and dry wells you may be in currently. 

PRAYER: Weapons of war lose effectiveness over me. What has penetrated me that my spirit or body harbour, fall off and be nullified. Evil covenants ruling over my life and affairs, I squash you in Jesus' name.
