PLACED AND ALLOCATED JUST TO SEEK THE LORD - Wherever You Are Series 001

Acts 17:27, KJV

"That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:"

Who's like unto the Lord? The answer has always been and will always be, "none like Him." He's wiser than the wisest and more eloquent than those who profess eloquence. His works, all His works are past finding out. He has distributed each to his place. He has sent man to his allocation where he should be. There's a Psalm that summarily explains that fine distribution He did.

Psalms 104:17-18, KJV

"16 The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted

Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.

18 The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies."

Did you see the distribution of different living things into their natural habitats? As for the stork, the fir trees are her house. The high hills are for the wild goats and the rocks for the conies. That's the wonder that the Lord did. Every living thing has an allocated natural habitat that the Lord has chosen for them to survive, breed and multiply. It is God who solely does that work for their thriving.

In the same manner, man has been distributed upon the surface of the earth. The North, South, West and Eastern corners of the earth are all inhabited by different men who found it habitable as their homes. That's what today's verses we're considering talk of.

Acts 17:26-27, KJV

"26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:"

Let's analyse it.

One blood... All the nations of the world that be today in their numerosity is made out of one blood. That is, all of them are linked together and have one origin. That's why all humans are one species. No race or colour is greater than the other irrespective of the stereotypes or prejudices that may be pushed on any of them.

To dwell on all the face of the earth... means occupation is spread throughout the earth. In Africa, Asia, Australia, North America, South America, Europe and even Antarctica, there are presences of lives. Either through birth or migration, people dwell in all those places. Even on Antarctica, there are research stations. While one person is in Africa, another is in Europe to the end that they might cover the whole earth. While some dwell in the coldest regions of the earth, others dwell in the most arid and sandstorms filled regions. God has dealt to each of us differently. It fits to say that each of us has uniqueness by that distribution or human placement of God. Take for instance, those in Siberia. Their buildings, clothing, diet and lifestyle is suited for their very cold climate while those living in the Danakil Depression in the horn of Africa around Ethiopia, Eritrea and Djibouti would have to develop some other uniqueness based on the climate and weather in their lands.

Now, in all these, there's a purpose God wanted to bring out. He has done placement and drawn boundaries for nations of people for a reason and that is, "that they should seek the Lord."

That's why it delights me entering nations. I entered into nations in 2019 when my teachings went international. That's to an end. God didn't just grant that for boastfulness' sake. It's so that people will be taught to seek the Lord and find Him. When the Lord Jesus told us to go into the world and make disciples, His intention was so that the gazes and hearts of the people would be turned to Him. The very reason why God made man of one blood, placed them in their different timelines and boundaries is just one.

"...that they should seek the Lord."

This fulfills Rev.4:11 that says we are created for His pleasure. Now, let me ask, are you really feeling and seeking after God or you have forgotten your Creator because of the comfort and distractions of this world? Don't forget, you were placed where you are to bring glory to God. It's "so that they should/might seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us" (NKJV).

Introspect to see if you're truly the Lord's seeker or the world's seeker?

PRAYER: Lord, I consecrate myself for You. May my hunger and deepest longing to seek, see and know you be fulfilled.
