MINISTRATION AT THE POINT OF NEED - The Bread For Today Series 005

Psalms 91:11-12, KJV

"11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone."

You see, what God gives is ministration at the point of need. You may defy that and gather resources like the sand of the sea shore for yourself. We've been mandated to do that because of what the world has become. Human covetousness has taught us fierceness, competition, greediness, care for oneself over one's neighbour. Indeed, we rarely watch over what is our neighbour's again. How many of you know that we hoard things because we're seeking to preempt what the future might hold. Only if our life and assurance will be in Jesus.

Go to the so-called developed world, you'll see they have mastered the mentality of living daily than citizens from third world countries working in their nations. Since they have good governments and are usually catered for, they usually are rested from anxiety and worry while the foreigners who came for greener pastures are sweating it out. It'll shock you that many of them don't even own cars that some of us regard as a blessing and something to pursue with our lives here. They're content with public transport and don't see themselves as poor for that. Those labouring are because they know they have an irresponsible government and they have to take care of themselves.

Let me ask you, is God irresponsible? Has God left you to yourself? Are you truly God's citizen? Do you truly follow leading and commit your ways to Him? Are you such that God can allocate or shepherd? If you are, then you will never want any good thing.

Many Christians are operating as fatherless because they're only living as Christians in name and not in function and administration. If developed countries could so much be trusted by their citizens as to enter into rest, why not God if you have truly come to know Him through a personal relationship? I do tell people, a lot of people only live and plan with their salaries. They haven't known any life beyond that as Christians and that's wrong. How will they know since God cannot speak to them to give to someone? So, how will they trust in God to use people, even odd circumstances to meet their own needs? They haven't built relationship with God at all. They only go to church, pray and leave God to do what He wants to do. The One He doesn't do, it's at the back of their mind that they'll get it done. You can't live successfully in this kingdom that way.

Today's verse says, "on their hands they'll bear you up lest you dash your foot on a stone." This is ministration at the very point of need and that's what we've been saying. God will not save you from all your problems of the future at once. However as you walk with the Lord, in the light of His Word, He'll be meeting your needs one by one as you encounter them. For you, it'll always be, "on their hands they'll bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone." Whenever there's a need for intervention, it means God will step in for you. He'll meet your needs per time. If you still live, you might still need a new dress, shoes, healing or a miracle etc. As soon as those are necessitated, God will come flying towards you. This is what the Lord does to ensure constant walking and trust in Him. We don't have a God who blesses us with everything once and detaches you from Himself. He's always there for your every care or win. He saves from disgraces, embarrassments and disappointments as soon as they appear. As I speak, He's bearing you up. You will not sink. You will not go under. Say with me, "whenever there are needs, on His hands He'll bear me up lest I am embarrassed or disappointed. I receive interventions!"

PRAYER: I am supported, aided, assisted, helped and instrumented. I'm borne up!
