WATER IS REVIVAL - Thirsty In A Dry Land Series 003

Psalms 63:1, KJV

"O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is."

Picture a dry, dying plant! Imagine it with the eyes of your understanding. What happens to such a plant the moment it is watered? You may not immediately see changes. As a matter of fact, it may seem to you nothing is happening and that it has no hope any longer. However, life is actually returning. Water is life. Water is revival. Water revives and recovers. It brings back and redeems. It brings life and it gives life. It resuscitates. What happens is that, the dry, dying plant will begin to revive first from the roots. As it receives water constantly onward, you'll see a new blooming. It'll shed the look of yesterday away and put on a new one. Its testimony will be, "at the scent of water, it shall bud up again."

Job 14:8-9, KJV

"8 Though the root thereof wax old in the earth and the stock thereof die in the ground;  

9 Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant."

That's what happens to anyone who comes to God's presence in their dry and thirsty conditions. That's why the Bible says in Job 14:7, "for there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease." The remedy is that, "at the scent of water, it shall sprout up again." Water is the promised solution. That's the critical remedy that should be factored in. Once that prerequisite is fulfilled, go and get ready for harvest. 

It means irrespective of what circumstance it had been in time past, let water approach it and you'll skip to identify it again. That's true of human life. We need constant renewal and there's no place for that except God's presence. That's why the Psalmist likens his thirst to the thirst of a dry and thirsty land, where no drop of water is. In that very dry position, only one thing is needed or prayed for. Water! The prayer is, "let rain fall" because that's the bringer and resuscitator of hope. 

What's your situation like? What does your circumstance look like? Are you dry, very dry? Are you out of function, scattered on the floor in inactivity? God is saying, "I will send the rain. I am sending the rain." He's saying I should tell you, "I'll feed you with water and you'll shed yesterday's look away. You'll bloom once more. You'll put on your flowers and bring forth your beautiful fruits. People shall once more call you blessed. Every eye that sees you shall praise Me and shall bring you gifts." This is happening now in Jesus' name!

Therefore, receive revival in your marriage, finances, ministry, career and calling, business or any other needy endeavour! For those of you who are not only dry (infertile) but have also become barren with time, I roll yesterday away from your life. That reproach is no more. A new dawn has broken over your life. You're now under a new ruling and so shall it be. 

PRAYER: Thank God for the deliverance and the miracles of revival, restoration and the refreshing with water - ministration from God's presence.
