WHY YOU FEEL LOST AMIDST THE POPULACE?
Why don't I feel lost amidst the crowd?
It's because I know leading is personal.
You'll feel lost if you have doubts on where you should be or what you should be doing but which you're not doing.
To feel lost means to lack a sense of direction, not to be seen, felt or acknowledged.
There's something in all of us that wants to fulfill purpose and be validated for that even if it'll be by our conscience which will say, "well done, you're doing well."
When lost however , you're seriously confused and confounded as to which way to take. It may also be a lack of gratification in the life currently being lived.
If you don't want to feel lost, you must get it right and get better.
You must be convinced you're in the will of God and the will of God is not a mystery because the Bible says, "for as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God" (Rom. 8:14).
You must be sure you're in the right country, on the right job, with the right spouse, in the right city/neighborhood, ministry, local church and pursuing the right path.
This is the sole cure to unhealthy competition and rivalry with friends and enemies alike (for those who have).
This is how you will not hate those who are progressing according to God's standards or according to your own false projections and vain belief.
This will give you assurance that you have done everything that God commanded or wanted and consequently your life is in His hands.
Therefore, you'll have confidence that you're always safe and secured in the hands of the God that knows best.
Some are abroad and are afraid. It may be because they are out of their proper and instituted locations. At such times, even if you have shelter on your head, you'll feel insecure.
The world is so large and too crowded to be unsure as to what the Lord wants you to do and where He wants you to be.
If you believe or are secretly persuaded that you're just managing somewhere and that's not where you should really be, there's a big tendency that you may not give your best there.
You'll continue to console yourself with, "just let me do this for the meanwhile."Therefore, you cannot pay attention to details, learn critical lessons or be grateful to God of all the earth who had given it to you or set you there. Rather, you'll be a complainer and a murmuring fellow.
Do you feel lost?
Do you feel you're being starved to death by this overwhelming world?
Do you feel others are progressing but you are behind?
Do you feel left behind?
Do you feel unseen and worthless?
Inspect your journey and choices.
Are you doing what God would have you do?
Or those you saw someone do that you copied?
When it's your society or social media that sets what to do for you, you can't but be eventually be out of place.
And whenever there's a dislocation, it is always followed by a pain as well. When a bone dislocates in the body, the fellow never enjoys himself until the bone aligns back to position.
Many people are like dislocated bones and joints, not only causing pain to themselves or their families which they have carried along like Elimelech but even the host of heaven that's regretting over them.
When Paul was confronted and had nowhere to turn, he asked, "what will you have me do?"
It's high time you asked.
God measures to us differently. That's why God could tell someone like Isaac to stay and sow in the land when he wanted to travel abroad.
It means there's a God of specific location for our individuals.
The Bible says something interesting about our geography and placement.
Acts 17:26, KJV
"And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation."
Check that verse out.
Do you know what it means? If God has determined our bounds of habitation before hand, it means when you leave one location for the other, it should be to a location that God had before hand designated you'll also leave to or one day live in.
Why?
Because God will be waiting to number you or enroll you among the people that that land will be given to.
Many people however are disrupted and disruptive in the will of God. They are out of place like a musical note that disrupts the tune.
God keeps numbers. He's like a census coordinator. When people leave one place to the other, He accounts for them that they have left XYZ country to ABC country.
That's why that is not a casual thing to do.
If you have gained all the world and you're still restless or feeling lost, it may be a great indication that you're either out of line or out of place.
It may also be that it's time to move on but your spirit is still scanning and trying to detect and fixate on what next.
In all, ask your questions and find your answers. Then, progress in God's will.
