THIS IS THAT WHICH WAS SPOKEN BY THE PROPHET JOEL
Acts 2:16, KJV
"But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel."
When God raises you as a leader of His people - a set man especially, a dimension of your calling or anointing will be able to do what Peter did here. I believe it is not everybody that is called or would be raised to be an interpreter of events in the body of Christ. And what you're not called to do that you attempt may be wrongly done.
The Holy Spirit had been poured out and all its receivers now speak in tongues. It's such an amazing sight even to those watching. They'd never seen a thing like that before because they heard people speaking in their different languages yet the question remains, "are not all these Galileans?"
If they are Galileans, how's it that we hear them in our own indigenous languages wherein we are born? That was their question, doubt and confusion.
While some people seek answers genuinely, the Bible says, "others mocking say these people are filled with new wine." Confusion is beginning to pervade the air. People are beginning to misinterpret what they couldn't understand. A great move of God that was promised has come but nobody could decipher it for what it is. While some say, "what meaneth this?" Others are saying, "those men are just drunk." That's what the devil wanted to achieve. He wanted to confuse the people from deciphering the new window and era the church has entered into.
In the midst of all these, God raised a witness for Himself. Peter rose up!
Acts 2:14-16, KJV
"14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel..."
Peter had to correct them and helped them put things in proper perspective. I believe God must raise interpreters of the seasons that we have entered into for us. Else it is mislabeled and we are misled. People could have believed that those men were drunk when it was only the third hour. Is this not how a lot of people who know nothing about Christianity or God's move pick up their pens or go on social media to run their commentaries or share their perspectives about what is going on when it is out of revelation, hindsight, prophecy and what God has set to do.
Today, you'll no longer be confused. This spirit is coming and resting on you. You'll be a correct discerner in the midst of confusion. You'll tell people what the Lord is really doing. You'll be able to say like Peter, "but this is that which is spoken by the prophet Joel." You'll have pin point accuracy. Never shall you miss. So shall it be!
PRAYER: Lord, I am salvaged from error or confusion. I discern your move and have pin point accuracy.
