THE CAMOUFLAGE OF THE DEVIL - Life More Abundantly Series 002
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
Today, we want to decipher the devil further. Let the Holy Spirit expose him to us again. Nothing of his operations will be hidden in our lives once he is thus exposed.
You see, the devil is a disguiser. He likes wearing camouflage and the reason is simple - so as to move and operate undetected. That's why John 10:10 says, "The thief only came but to steal, kill and destroy..."
When you and your team are saying, "The devil has not been here; the devil has never visited us nor taken anything of ours", God is saying, "He already came to steal, kill and destroy" but left undetected. It is his coming and going undetected because you couldn't identify his operations that made you ignorantly say the devil had never had hands in your affairs when he has been coming and going, doing to and fro. Oh no, you've been ignorant for long.
When the devil operates, he tries not to be detected. That's why the Bible identifies him here as a "thief." A thief operates by stealth. He wants to steal your property without confrontation, detection or the attraction of attention to himself. He just wants to do it subtly without your ever knowing that visitation was done in the first place.
The Bible identifies him well when he calls him "The thief" - "But the thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy..."
Here, the devil is a thief - a pickpocket. Someone who comes like the wind and goes that same way. If you ever felt anything, it'll be a little breeze that will make you doubt someone had broken in. He is a stealth operator and a master of stealth. He wants to rob you and make you doubt he ever came in. There are a lot of people who have a thing missing from their lives who thought it was normal because they couldn't trace it to a day or a time it disappeared. If you were to ask them, they'll say, "I don't know", and in truth they don't know. That's also because the devil not only came in by stealth but they also had their understanding veiled. They are spiritually darkened people.
I pray for you, let the deception of the devil in your life, family, ministry, business be exposed now. Has the devil done something in your life that you thought is normal or attributed to causes of natural events? I reverse them now. I stand against the spread of his works in your life. I root out his works. I destroy his byproducts and the parastatals he has opened in your life. I close all his operating units in your life now. Be clean and be filled with the Holy Spirit!
PRAYER/CONFESSION: I rebuke and bind the devil with my mouth. I'm no longer your captive. I renounce and repent from every of your works. I submit to Jesus in Jesus' name.
