THE DEVIL HAS NO GOOD PLAN FOR ANYBODY - Life More Abundantly Series 001
John 10:10, KJV
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
The devil has no good plan for anybody and that's the blatant truth. For this reason, you must not be caught having anything to do with darkness. God is still asking, "What communion has light with darkness?" If you're light, God wants you to remain light and keep association with light and the children of light. Not otherwise.
John 10:10 begins to expose the devil and his works. It begins to lay him bare before us as an agent that doesn't have any iota of good for us at heart. The devil if he were anybody's father isn't one that has thoughts/plans of good and not of evil at heart for them (Jer.29:11). Where God has such plan and thoughts for us all, to give us a hope and a future (an expected end), the devil has other plans.
His plans are to harm and deflate you with both broken bottles and every sharp object possible. What he wants to do to you is to harm you and let you fall into disgrace and remain in a state of persistent failure. He's never thinking of how to progress anyone or let him have the better life.
However, he is an advocate of the lesser, decreasing and the diminished life. When the Bible says, "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day" (Proverbs 4:18, KJV); we know that's our reality in the kingdom and under God's watch but that isn't the devil's plan for anyone.
When you're in fellowship with the devil or in sound covenant with him, rather your life decreases. The quality of your life can never be quality. No matter how obedient you are to him in both service and instructions, he's only out there to use you and suck life from you. Think of the devil as a dangerous parasite that sucks your blood until you become very lean. What he does is to deceive you that he has joy and good promises to give you. Until you're in a critical state, your eyes will not open wide awake.
There are men who have sworn allegiance to him as witches, wizards or cult men and women. He'll give them power, fame, riches but all to their disgrace, confusion and dissatisfaction. They'll find no joy later on and be afraid of repercussions and rituals often demanded. They'll grow tired and lean in the soul, seeking escape and rest.
John 10:10 says, "The thief only comes to steal, to kill and to destroy..."
Those are his activities and mission statements in any life, home or nation. The camouflage and the formlessness he takes is to achieve those three objectives. To come in to suck life that God has given out of people and to deny them of living fully and enjoying life to the fullest. The devil whenever he promises you anything that you go to take has successfully hindered you from enjoying or having life to the fullest. If Jesus had bowed to him and He had received the world and its riches offered to Him by the devil, Jesus would have lost life more abundantly in the quality and highest reward given to Him - a name that's greater than any other name (Philippians 2:9-10). What the devil does is to hack people with impatience and let them have the fake for the genuine. Brethren, wait and let patience have her perfect work. Don't run to the devil who steals, kills and destroys. He never has good plans for you.
PRAYER: Lord, the devil is exposed to me. Nothing of his operation in my affairs is hidden. I remove his camouflage and see him for who he is.
