JUST PASSING THROUGH - The Passing Through Of The Lord Series 007

Acts 8:40, KJV

"But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea."

God wants you to get to a place where purpose has totally taken you over. Not everyone gets there. You must be such a Christian that lives intentionally and by the principle of commitment and not convenience. When you live by commitment, even when it is not delightful, you'll keep doing what is expected of you. The immature and the unintentional are those who relocated and having been put at arm's length from people, chooses to do their thing, which is convenient for them.

That shows you they have not been living intentionally before. When you have been faithful in secret, it will show in the public assignments given you. The people who will not be able to sustain faithfulness outwardly are those who have practiced unfaithfulness in secrecy.

What does the Bible say about Philip? "But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea."

Philip could have given the excuse of, "I am just a passerby. There's nothing so special. I'm not waiting or tarrying here." However, he begged to differ. The Bible rather says, "...and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea."

If you have not done a similar act before, you might not know it takes a lot of sacrifice and intention to do so. Have you gone on a journey before where you had to board like 3-4 transportation systems to get there? Have you ever preached in all of them? Or you only comforted yourself that having preached in one would do? If you had done a thing like that before, you'll know how tedious it is for Philip to preach in all their cities. Let alone, Philip was probably on foot also, travelling, yet he preached as he passed through all their cities until he made arrival at Caesarea.

How many of you have comforted yourself with the thought of, "I am just passing through. I am just a stranger. We just came here to visit. I'm not an indigene. I am not here permanently. I just came for SIWES. I just came for teaching practice. I just wanted to say hi to you etc?" Philip found himself in your shoes but he still didn't shed off the responsibility of preaching the gospel. Even if it was somebody you just met at the bus stop and your waiting time isn't more than two to five minutes, I bet it with you that you can still introduce Christ to him.

You also must learn to preach the gospel as you pass through places and people. You must learn to preach the gospel to every creature you contact whether you have such a luxury of time or not. Philip didn't have that. He didn't lodge overnight, and got comfortable before he opened his mouth. He did even in his weariness and journey. As you go through life, meeting people and touching new places, make it a point of duty to preach Christ to them.

Many will be prepared grounds for you. They will be like the Ethiopian Eunuch reading the book of Isaiah but who couldn't understand it and now desires someone to join him in his vehicle and interpret it to him.

Acts 8:31, KJV

"And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him."

Many of those you will meet might be troubled, confused, depressed, frustrated and those needing answers and comfort. Their needing answers and comfort will be your leverage in their lives. Like that man desired Philip to come and sit with him, they also will show great enthusiasm to listen to what you have to say. They may maintain a front. They may be the Ethiopian Eunuch - a great man who has charge of all the treasures of Candace but I tell you, they are like ripe fruit that falls when its branch is shaken. I pray for you, you won't trivialize the preaching of the gospel as you visit, go round, travel around. Rather, while with friends, siblings, school mates etc, you'll have cause to say, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek" (Romans 1:16, KJV).

PRAYER/CONFESSION: Lord, I preach in and out seasons. I am able and empowered. I am not ashamed of the gospel.

WHEN BURDENED FOR PLACES!

Let me tell you this.

Whenever a country occurs to you, pray for it.

Several places, cities and countries have occurred to me on occasions.

I don't know all God might want to do about them but I did one thing.

I sent prayers there.

It's Cyprus that's coming to my mind now.

Who knows whether one will minister in all those places one day?

The same applies to persons.

As a matter of fact, I reaped a testimony on that of persons on Wednesday by being prompt to call someone the Spirit highlighted to me to call.

Be obedient!

Guess what I'm perceiving and which I can substantiate with Scriptures.

The Bible says, "Every place your feet shall step, there have I collected for you."

God also told Abraham, "Look at the sky and the stars innumerable, so shall your seeds be."

I just paraphrased those verses.

What if it'll also be unto you according to your obedience and uttered prayers.

The Bible says this. I heard it expressly.

Psalms 122:6-7, KJV

"6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces."

Note the part that says, "They shall PROSPER that love thee."

How do you love a nation? What is the prove of your love for places?

Praying for them!

And I tell you, you will prosper. You will not only prosper but one day, you will see those places you have prayed for.

I'm also seeing Acts 10. Before Peter was set on motion to Caesarea, he first had seen a sheet descended to him, foreshadowing his soon move to the Gentiles and the opening of that world up for evangelism.

Guess what the Spirit told him.

Acts 10:19-20, KJV

"9 While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.

20 Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them."

Did you see that? Prayers don't get lost? They are sown seeds. You shall find them after many days. They are only being casted on the water. They shall be retrieved at manifestion.

Visions don't die. Joseph's dream came to pass. The seeing of the stars by Abraham was fulfilled.

Pray for the peace of those places and a reward shall be returned to you too.

It may be that, "Every place your mouth walks over in prayer as the burden comes to you shall be collected for you."

Probably God is determining the extent Morning Wings Ministry or the work in our hands should go.

Who knows whether we'll have church branches there one day? I tell you! Nobody knows.

When God comes to some people to determine the reach they'll go, they won't do it well because they have not been faithful men in secret.

I remember a story. Elisha was dying and he told a king to open the window and shoot the arrows of victories.

II Kings 13:17-18, KJV

"17 And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the LORD's deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them.

18 And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed."

Guess how many times he smote the ground.

Just three times. Guess what follows for his lack of sufficiency and thoroughness.

II Kings 13:19, KJV

"And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice."

Imagine that! Meaning, Elisha was disappointed at that king. And I tell you, God was disappointed at that king also. That king by his own act of laziness determined his victory and its intensity. He could have had victory over victory until Syria is nowhere to be found again.

Have you not read of Scriptures like, "As you have said in my ears so will I do."

You'd better say good things and not be stupid.

You will be the one to determine how far you'll go and the reach you'll have especially when God comes to you through burdens like I've been saying. God will give you that open cheque by coming to you and saying, "Now, determine your reach in prayer and through the offer or responsibility of bearing burden or interceding for places or persons."

God won't tell you that by doing that, you're determining your future but I tell you, that's it.

I tell you, "As you say in God's hearing, so shall He do."

So, be diligent!

You shall see those places you have laboured over!

The husbandman ought to be the first partaker of the harvest. Isn't it?

Therefore, don't smite the ground once. Not even thrice. Strike it uncountably. Labour well and seriously for those places before God. Cast your bread on the water. Cast it! Cast it! Sow your seeds effectively into those places and one day when you're there, it shall be recollected to you what you once did.

Seeds that we sow don't get lost. Prayers that we pray live on until the day is dawn. They always return as HARVEST!

Look, you will reap what you've sown.

Why?

You've always been part and parcel of those places.

Believe me. I am Olusola ADEJUMO and God has just spoken!

@ M'Wings.

HANDING OUT CHRIST WHILE PASSING THROUGH - The Passing Through Of The Lord Series 006

Acts 8:40, KJV

"But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea."

We've seen so far through this series that walking through is not just for a stroll in the park. The same is being expressed through today's verse.

The church has benefited from persecution, suffering and scattering. You have heard of wind or birds dispersed seeds before. Where those seeds cannot get to by their own natural movement are eventually reached because they are carried by a host and taken to those far away places. Therefore their reach is extended even to places that they might not be native to. We all know how many coastal lines came to be residence for palm trees today. It's because the sea travelled and bore many coconuts which floated like rafters because of their water proof external core until they were washed to the shore where they began to germinate and take root.

These are seeds that never believed they could leave their native lands. However, they left and spread their fragrance, influence and benefits to men of other worlds. Just like it happens to seeds that could be transported from one place to a great far away, it often happens to Christians like that. In 2022, the war in Ukraine scattered the disciples and churches in Ukraine all over Europe. Notable of these churches or denominations is the God Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God of Pastor Sunday Adelaja. All these disciples in fleeing for their lives have fled all over Europe as refugees but one thing stands sure - their travelling around would see the gospel being passed around and reinforced through Europe again.

God can trust disciples not just to pass through a place but preach as they go. That's what our verse says Philip himself does and the many people who are scattered by persecution.

Acts 8:4, KJV

"Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word."

Did you see that? The Bible says, "They that were scattered went everywhere preaching the gospel." You see, they didn't drop the gospel. They've learnt the consequences of a soul without Christ. So, preaching the gospel even after being dispersed from their nativities and bases was still a priority.

Speaking of Philip, the Bible says, "But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea."

Imagine what Philip did! He just went on evangelizing. The opportunity of passing through the lands gives him the handy privilege of handing Jesus and the gospel out. Are you this conscious of the gospel and thoughtful for the perishing souls when you have the privilege of passing through places, people and institutions where may work? Even if your stay or residence is not permanent, do you preach Christ as you pass through? If you preach Christ as you pass through, you can't but spread Him and His knowledge and bring many people to salvation. For as many people who'll pioneer works like Philip in Samaria, I can even assure you that you may see powerful signs and wonders which are needed to break a land open to the gospel and to convict men (Acts 8:5-8).

While you too are passing through life, don't go empty handed. Dispersed Christians in Ukraine have been taking the gospel all over Europe and the world for over three years now. They didn't become depressed because they are refugees, mourning lives and properties they had lost. Rather, it is their habit as it was of the disciples to handover Christ and the gospel as they pass through places. Is that you also? Believe me, as you pass through, that's the Lord passing through. Christ in you is still the hope of glory. Let Him work in you and through you.

PRAYER: Let this mind be in me that the gospel must be preached to every creature for the saving of their souls and the securing of eternal life.

COLLAPSE OF LOCKS AND UNLOCKING OF GATES AT THE LORD'S PASSING THROUGH - The Passing Through Of The Lord Series 005

Acts 12:10, KJV

"When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him."

Another manifestation that follows when the Lord passes through is that there's yieldedness. Strong things, powers, principalities all submit, cringing out of their hidden places and submitting in reverence.

Psalms 18:44-45, KJV

"44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.

45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places."

Our verse for consideration reveals that. When Peter regains his freedom by an angel's visit, this happens. At arrival at a stop where their journey should have ended, what should end their journey yielded to them and submitted.

The Bible says, "...they came unto the iron gate that leads to the city which opened to them of its own accord."

Mark, "Of its own accord..." It means there was no need to give it any instruction before it opens up. It just knew that it should open up. It was there I saw non-living things also recognizing divine presence.

It had to open up because that angel is the divine being with Peter and wherever the divine passes through, consequences must follow. What can be likened to this iron gate in your family? What has stopped people from progressing and concluding their journey to their predestined destination? In your own case this morning, things are different. It'll open to you of its own accord. Where people you know have been stopped and have faced their greatest battles, you will walk on with ease. Though it usually doesn't open to anyone of its own accord, it did for Peter because of the divine presence travelling with him. Normally, it had to be operated on by a gatekeeper before access could be granted to anyone. However, speaking of you, you're securing divine access. That's because the earth is the Lord's and its fullness thereof.

Where others have been stopped or delayed at the gate, and their time wasted by the holders of the key, yours is accelerated because the iron gate shall open to you of its own accord. When you are a meter away from it, it'll recognize you for who you are and fling itself open before you near it. This is how life will be before you. Life will be easy for you to take and pass through. You won't be locked outside the gate. Life will rather open up and present itself for a taking even before your arrival.

PRAYER/CONCLUSION: I have victory before arrival. Iron doors/gates and every restrictions give way to me.

GIVEN LIFE BY GOD'S SPOKEN WORD - The Passing Through Of The Lord Series 004

Ezekiel 37:7, KJV

"So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone."

When the Lord walks or passes through, things find themselves and reunite. It means what has been impossible becomes possible. What is lost and far away also will find its way back home and gets coupled to its whole.

The narrative and drama in Ezekiel 37 is such a graphic and moving one. It's the story of how the slain comes back to life. As in, how the hopeless receives hope and are revived. A story reminding us that, no case is close and no fight is lost.

Everything God does is through what He says. Here, God had to speak again through a mouth. The mouth He finds to speak through is Ezekiel's. First, God asks him, "Can these bones live?" He immediately throws the ball back into God's court, "Only Thou knowest." He had no choice but to say that because the commentary we have on the situation calls it very critical and defying.

Ezekiel 37:2, KJV

"...behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry."

However, what can't happen once God passes through or comes into one's midst. Wanting to do this therefore, what does God ask him to do? "Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:" (Ezekiel 37:5, KJV).

God promised to cause breath into them and by this most important ingredient, the Bible resolves, "they shall live." To reverse the status of these liveless bones, God only had to call for breath from the four winds.

Ezekiel 37:9, KJV

"Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live."

It never failed to work. The breath comes into them, they live, and stand up as a vast army. But before then, they had to find themselves. Those bones have gotten lost. If you wish, you could call them the 'misplaced bones.' But irrespective of the separation, they were all recalled to build the human skeleton of which they were once part. That's why the Bible says, "...and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone" (Ezekiel 37:7, KJV).

This is the miracle happening right now. There's a call to the deep inside you. There's a call for restoration in your life. First, a search is ongoing. That search will find, pin point by identifying and returning to you anything that should be part of your whole self or destiny. So shall it be. Amen!

PRAYER: I find myself. I'm fully restored if I've been in anyway fragmented.

DARKNESS BECOMES EVACUATED AT THE SPIRIT'S PREPARATORY WORK- The Passing Through Of The Lord Series 003

Genesis 1:2, KJV

"And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."

If the Spirit will come, then there'll be nothing in your life that cannot be repaired. If the Spirit won't tarry and leave us to ourselves, I assure you that darkness, even thick darkness shall flee and not be able to withstand Him irrespective of where or how large a territory it has occupied in your life.

How we need the Holy Spirit! How we need and holler for what only He could do! The earth that is without form and void, and the darkness that is upon the face of the deep only stays till the Spirit appears to walk through, plough through and divide through for God's spoken Word.

The Bible says, "And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."

At this time, incubation - a kind of touching and readiness is being put in place for things to be set in order. The tractor of the Almighty in His Spirit had already gone to work and what would need to follow will be the declaration of God's spoken Word.

Genesis 1:3, KJV

"And God said, Let there be light: and there was light."

The light or order that we began to see here didn't just emerge absolutely from that decree only but for the fact that the Spirit had first threshed, vibrated, hovered and flown over that world of darkness to conquer it. Your case will be attended to except the Spirit doesn't move. But once He moves, He's like a fire that licks everything before it.

I Kings 18:38, KJV

"Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench."

That will be your experience also. All sicknesses, diseases, impediments and problems shall all be cleared. None shall be spared no matter how clingy or scary it is.

Spirit, move! Holy Spirit, move. Move in their lives, affairs and families. Cultivate what has been left fallow and bring something great out of these lives. Proof that light can be called forth out of darkness. Rewrite their stories. Give them a new garment and more importantly, a new name. So shall it be. Receive the Spirit's visitation!

PRAYER: I am open to what the Lord has seen to do in me. Every covenant with hell, sheol or Satan is broken now. Light comes in and darkness leaves.

THE PECULIAR VISITATION THAT CURES ANY DISEASE - The Passing Through Of The Lord Series 002

John 5:4, KJV

"For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had."

I have walked under the anointing for some good years, so I know what I'm saying experientially apart from it being a biblical truth. When the Lord visits, there's something He does also. It is called distribution. It's like dipping one's hands into a bowl containing different chocolates and sweets and then swerving that to the congregation. You know what will happen. Each person will have fallen to them different chocolates or sweets. They'll therefore not be apportioned the same. Their not having been apportioned the same will be because they have different needs and are called to meet different needs by the distribution that's given to them. That's why they'll never need the same specific ministration even if it's healing or curing that's been administered to them.

John 5:3, KJV

"In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water."

That verse identifies the various needs which would be met for the first that enters the pool. This morning, you don't have to take thought whether the Lord sees you or knows you let alone knowing your specific needs. He knows. When He visits, what you need to be met is what He will meet. The distribution you so need is what He will give you.

There's something the Bible says in John 5 about the stirred water and what it could do to anyone who first steps into it that we need to see.

John 5:4, KJV

"For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatever disease he had."

Did you see that? The Bible says,"...whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatever disease he had."

That's the kind of ministration God is giving. It is the meeting of all types and diverse needs. The need is not restricted to one type but any type that needs to be met.

When the caring masses laid their sick on the streets that at least the shadow of Peter might fall on them, the shadow didn't discriminate or become partial by only healing one type of sickness but as many as it falls on.

Acts 5:15, KJV

"Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them."

That's the kind of ministration the Spirit is telling me to reemphasize He is giving again today. Irrespective of what is wrong, it is being threshed now. Irrespective of the disease, sickness or issue, God says, "He's addressing them today." Nothing shall escape Him. I said, "Your issues are being threshed in Jesus' name."

PRAYER: I receive the anointing for the healing and meeting of whatsoever is my specific need. Is there any mad there or diseased somewhere or in any area, be healed.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE LORD SLATES AN APPOINTMENT - The Passing Through Of The Lord Series 001

Exodus 11:4, KJV

"And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:"

Say, "Walk through my portion, Lord!" Repeat it in this manner, "Divide through my estate, Lord." Those words are actually ones that also express the lyrics of a Yoruba worship song. God does visit and when He does, He walks through the midst of what is ours. However, that walking ain't an ordinary one. It rather will give birth to certain manifestations such as he or she who the Lord is walking through his estate needs. Don't take thought for your needs. Just be deliberate and covetous of God's visitation and your needs irrespective of what it is will be met at the Lord's arrival.

The event being referred to here is a popular one. God told Moses to tell Pharaoh that He (The Lord Almighty, The Lord of Hosts) will walk through his camp that midnight. This is no ordinary walking. It came as a warning but it eventually descended as a judgement upon Pharaoh and the entire Egypt because they persist in disobedience to let Israel go.

Moses speaking says, "4 Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: 5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. 6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more" (Exodus 11:4-6, KJV).

One might first think this walking through is for the sake of it. No! It isn't. When Joseph was made ruler over all Egypt by one Pharaoh, the Bible says, "He went out into all the land."

Genesis 41:46, KJV

"And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt."

That is, he went to inspect the vastness of the land in order to have a full scope of the work he had to do. That kind of going out or walking through differs from the one the Lord is to do here. This one is for judgement. The going out of the Lord is metaphoric in this manner. The idea that the Lord will go out to the midst of Egypt means everybody will be touched. Not one shall escape. From the king on the throne to the slave at the treadmill, everyone shall have their portion of God's cup of judgement. This going out of the Lord will be so intense that the Bible says, "And there shall be a great cry throughout the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it anymore." Indeed, when the Lord passed over and walked through like He said, it was just as Moses' mouth had said.

Exodus 12:29-30, KJV

"29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. 30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead."

God is walking through your own estate also. God is walking through your own family also. God is walking through to discern and minister to your needs, family, career, ministry also. If God walked through Egypt and each house recorded a loss, who told you God cannot walk through your town, city, state or country with each household having a testimony to give? The walking through of the Lord brings manifestations with it. If there has been disorder, His mere walking through resets and enforces order. Chains loose and bonds are broken of their own accords. Sicknesses and diseases that have tarried for years will just suddenly lift by themselves. The Bible speaking of how Peter's shadow heals the sick that were laid on the street as he passes says, "Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them" (Acts 5:15, KJV).

Imagine what the walking/passing through of an anointed man does here. What about that of God Almighty? How effective will that be? Mind you, the idea was that Peter won't need to touch anyone. Only that as he passes by, his shadow will fall on people and their needs will be met without any of them having confessed to Peter what their problem is.

You see, God knows what the problem is. Once He visits and comes to walk in the midst of that chaos, there shall be a resetting. I'm seeing Genesis chapter 1:2. That's what God is currently doing in people's lives and affairs. He has moved in to hover, incubate and begin threshing their issues. When the Lord did this same work in the valley of dry bones, all bones that have missed their rightful parts found and got attracted to themselves, making a complete whole in unison again.

I declare, God walks through your chaos now. He visits your estate and formlesness now. What is that thing needing ministration in your life, let there be an immediate resetting? I drag the Spirit's hovering to detect and correct of Genesis 1:2 into your life now! Experience it and have a reshaped life of order!

PRAYER: I welcome the Lord's visitation into my life, estate and affairs. Move and thresh my mountains and exalt my valleys.

WAXING GREAT AND MOVING FORWARD

Genesis 26:13, KJV

"And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:

"Waxing great" and "moving forward" are the two phrases that described the journey of Isaac. In waxing great, you have to multiply until you occupy a territory and become known for your abundance and total infilling. You must so much grow as to become a force or multitude that encompasses the land. That's what happened to Isaac before he was described as being great. The idea of being great is vividly portrayed by a seed you plant in a verse or container that so grows until the container you created to contain it couldn't contain it again. Because of its expansion, the container is beginning to crack and you're forced to transplant into the soil where the tree can grow at its speed of growth in its space and not be hindered or curtailed. Anyone that becomes great is he that first of all breaks the restrictions to real time growth, wealth or development.

Now, after becoming great, he moves forward. One can be great and then remain there but Isaac progresses. I'll give an example through this. Imagine a fellow who opens a branch of a retail outlet which becomes great - big, gigantic and known at its location. Meanwhile as he becomes great, he opens other branches doing the same thing or selling diversified things. You can say such a person having been great has now moved forward. You can be great and still be at a standstill. When I look at great organizations including Christian denominations, after opening a branch where they've launched out from, they expanded and moved forward by opening other branches in other places. This is moving forward and not just being known for a singular big branch in a location but rather having that as headquarters from where affairs of other branches nationally or internationally can be coordinated.

Let me ask you, do you want to be great or you want to move forward? If you aren't great, covet being great first of all. Being great means establishing one thing - being known for it and having it work well before you move to progress to increase or replicate the same in other places. Imagine a pastor with a branch in a location who's doing well and another with extra other ninety nine in other places yet with a base that's still doing well. It's God's will that you'll be great and then move forward. Those who have been standing still having been great, I remove all restrictions hindering you from spreading and manifesting in branches. Move forward. Defy restrictions. Refuse to be contained. Multiply until you're known for your multitude not in just one place at a time but at many places at a time.

PRAYER: Anoint my head with oil (the Spirit) Lord. Let me be great and then go forward in greatness. I log unto the portal of greatness. Hindrances to amounting are removed.

HE WATERS THEM TOO!

Psalms 104:10, KJV

"He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills."

God is the One that everything has come to depend on. He knows and He has also put a system in place for that. God has a big heart. Such a heart cares for all the works of His hands. He leaves none behind. He sees none as intangible or irrelevant. God has rather provided a way to ensure all of creation takes nutrition. We have read that even the young lions seek their meat from God (Psalm 104:21). It therefore becomes, whatsoever He gives them, that they gather. This is God and this is how vast His carer's role covers the whole of creation.

You might have thought it is only humans that God only minds. The Psalms says, "What is man that thou art mindful of him and the son of man that thou visitest him. You have made him a little lower than the angels and has crowned him with glory and honour" (Psalm 8:4-5).

You see, man isn't the only creation of God that God minds or visits. Only that man - humans enjoy a special place and privilege. They are the crown of God's glory. They have glory and honour bestowed on them by God. It is they God seeks to have a relationship with. However, He does mind all of creation too. This verse above shows God's intentionality towards preserving nature and the works of His hands. The Bible says, "10 He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills. 11 They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst. 12 By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches."

Imagine that! God causes joy and delight even for animals. Have you considered what would happen when wildlife has no water for survival? You can for short expect the invasion of human territories and even the collapse of the ecosystem. That's why God does not shirk in that responsibility of filling water holes, streams, rivers, lakes with water. It is for a purpose - to support the larger eco system and continue the food chain.

God is a very very intentional carer. He sends the springs into the valleys so that it might give drink to every beast of the field. God intentionally built that comforting system in the wild. Even the birds have come to be attracted by it. By it, they make their habitation. Does this tell you the importance of water for survival? Does this emphasize to you why communities and human dwellings build around oases and discovered water bodies? Nobody can actually survive without nutrition. Water is part of nutrition and it is by it, "The wild asses quench their thirst." Unless your thirst is quenched, you know how vexed and unsatisfied you'll be. Have you been at the peak of thirst before? You never felt comfortable. I bet it with you that animals feel the same. That's why in drought - a situation caused by human unreasonable activities on earth, they could travel for hours seeking for water wells or bodies of water in order to quench their thirst. Some could drop dead on the way due to exhaustion also. Does this emphasize something to you? Who amidst creation can do without water? We all need nutrition.

Patrick Kilonzo Mwalua knows this. He was a pea farmer from rural Kenya who became known globally for driving long distances with a tanker truck loaded with water to refill drying watering holes in Tsavo West National Park. The animals: elephants, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes and more came to depend on the fresh water he brought during harsh dry seasons.

He began this work in 2016 after witnessing the devastating impact of drought and climate change, especially when he saw a thirsty buffalo struggling beside a dry waterhole. He decided that if no one else was helping the animals survive, he would. For short, he found purpose.

He wasn’t a trained conservationist, just a farmer with a water truck and a big heart. You see, he was continuing God's work of sending the springs into the valleys, of giving drink to every beast of the field. God is the Creator but we humans are the managers. Psalm 8:6 says, "Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet..."

The act of subjecting all things under his feet is not only for us to master but to manage. We are the managers of the earth and all of God's creation. You see, compassion is seen in small things and this is a story of great compassion. Today as you go, don't destroy God's creation nor the works of His hands. Rather, preserve them and let them breathe after the manner God has ordained.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: I acknowledge my role as a manager of the earth and seek not only to master but manage creation for God.

THE BEARING UP OF HIS WORDS

II Kings 7:6, KJV

"For the LORD had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us."

Yesterday, we began on this untitled series and we sure saw God's word meeting their ordained appointments. We also got introduced into 'the bearing up system of the Lord' so that none of His spoken words ever fall to the ground. We considered Psalm 91:12 that says, "On their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot on a stone."

We have a perfect story just to illustrate God's bearing up activities towards keeping the appointment of His spoken words. Do you remember the famine in Samaria? The one that happened when Syria came with equipping to besiege them and stay on their neck. Yes, it's that same one.

At the peak of that famine, Elisha prophesied the unusual. What he said made no sense because mothers had already started boiling their children for food and petty things had become more costly than never. Where would their salvation come from? It was unimaginable. However, he spoke by the Lord.

II Kings 7:1, KJV

"Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria."

Immediately he did, a lord on whose arm the king leans contests it. He would have Elisha not give them false hope. He even said it would be impossible if God were to open windows in heaven. He said, "Might this thing be?" You know what results for him.

Meanwhile, what I want to call your attention to is the preparation the Lord Himself begins to put in place to bear up His spoken words. God could go to any length to ensure His words don't fail and He sure did here. When Elisha prophesied the unlikely that got debated in the nation, God went on to begin to work towards fulfilling His word. What does God do?

God made the Syrians to hear the noise of a multitude of chariots/horses which they mistaken for hired mercenaries against them.

They had no choice but to leave. They were frightened out of their wit. However, that's not the miracle. The miracle is that they all left their tents as they were. They were so scared that they couldn't consider fleeing even on their beasts of burden or disembark and pack their provisions away. They fled on foot as they could. The scouts who went to confirm their whereabouts have that to report (II Kings 7:15).

All the provisions that Syria had brought for her army to last the day Samaria would give up were therefore left as they were - untouched and made ready for Samaria to plunder.

II Kings 7:7, KJV

"Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life."

You see, everything was left as it was! It is this good news that the four lepers who thrust themselves to fate out of courage discovered, shared abroad and which ultimately fulfilled Elisha's prophecy. Let the truth be spoken. God always watches over His words to perform it. What happened here to the words of Elisha is the perfect bearing up of any word spoken by God's mouth.

Do you have certain promises from God? Has prophecies gone ahead of you? God is watching over them to bring them to pass. Like He did here, He is organizing, strategizing and creating situations towards bringing to pass what His mouth has told you. You may say, "it's unreasonable." That'll be a perfect saying. Nothing was reasonable in what happened to the Syrians but all the same, they left their tents as they were. That's because the Lord has a need of it. I pray for you, begin to enter into the labour of people. Let people leave their things for you as it is. Let the Lord Almighty arise the situations that'll bring to pass every word spoken to you so that they might fulfill their appointments in your life. No missing of target. Ordainment must come to pass.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: Let it be unto me according to God's Word!

MEETING THEIR APPOINTMENTS

I Samuel 3:19, KJV

"And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground."

When a bomb is planted, it is done for a purpose. However, I know you have seen bombs that refused to detonate when it should meet its appointment. Something might have gone wrong. The trigger might have locked up or gotten jammed. It could even have delayed manifestation, missing its target by seconds or minutes. Such a bomb hasn't done its job. It was sent on an errand but refuses to meet its appointment. At the point of harnessing or timing, its blow off time is automatically set into it and if it'll ever fulfill its purpose, it'll go off at that same designated and apportioned instance.

May you not miss your appointment. First, when you are to happen! May God's Word spoken to you not miss their appointments. May it be unto you according to God's Word. The Bible talks of Samuel never having any of his words fall to the ground. It means God confirms Samuel as a prophet. Every prophecy he spoke came to pass and none of his words failed. All his words met their appointments. All his words met the purpose for which they were released for the schedules of their manifestation. Not too quick and nothing delayed.

When your Word meets your appointment, you will grow up or manifest on time. There won't be delayed manifestation. However, at delay, you might tarry and tarry.

There's a ministration that God would have me minister to some of you this morning, especially those with delayed appointments. I'm hearing Psalm 91.

"11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone."

It means something is inevitable and surely consequential unless there's an immediate interruption, stepping in and redemption. That is when dashing one's foot against a stone will be escapable. Stepping one's foot on a stone or meeting with failure or disappointment is evaded by divine bearing up. A bearing up will ensure you do not hit the rock bottom even if you're already on your way down. It'll rather interrupt the process. This is how God will have us use that Psalm. God is saying, I will swiftly come in to bear you up whenever it seems your situation is defying or wants to defy what I've said. I will not let it happen. Rather, I will release my aids so that on their hands they'll bear you up so that you might not step on a stone.

A lot of people have known shame, disappointment, frustration and confusion because there was no straightway intrusion into their situations so that God's Word doesn't look false. Don't forget that we earlier read that none of Samuel's words fell to the ground. Why that didn't happen is because God always bears him up. Even when it remains a little for his word to fall to the ground and have no consequence for which they were sent, God came in, bore them up and created a situation and circumstance to validate them.

I pray for you therefore, where it seems God has been a liar in your life because He has tarried, let situations and circumstances begin to happen to validate Him as truthful. A turn around now. A bearing up of what God has said so that those words are saved to meet up with their appointments and divine purposes. "Heaven and earth shall pass away but not an iota of God's Word shall pass away", says the Lord (Matt. 24:25). Why that will happen is because God will see to His words to perform them. He won't let them go forth like that and get lost in their way without reaching their destinations. Today, I declare a bearing up of words spoken to you. I declare a redemption of your appointment. It shall be as the Lord has said.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: Lord, I believe in You and Your Word. Be it unto me according to Your Word and according to the words of Your prophet.

LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY - Life More Abundantly Series 010

Luke 12:16, KJV

"And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:"

John 10:10 talks of Jesus' ministry - "To give life and give it more abundantly." Meaning, to give the bustling or burging life. When a thing is given in abundance, what image is painted? The Bible speaking says, "The land of a rich man brought forth plentifully..."

"Plentifully" is the same word as "abundantly." The image being portrayed is that of numerosity. This man wouldn't have thought of where to keep the fruits of his harvest if he didn't have plentifully.

"12:17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?"

He had a problem of where to store his fruits immediately his land brought forth plentifully. This is a yield beyond the normal. It is an extraordinary yield of abundance different from what he had any time known before. So, when Jesus says, "I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly", you can begin to imagine what that means. It means to have a life of many blessings - garnished and lacking nothing on all sides. A life that'll be so much harassed with overflow that it'll seek new places to keep them and whom to give them to. You can't carry some weight and not shed it. Part of the weight I carry are these teachings I shed on daily basis in what I called the devotional. The devotional is a product of my own intimacy with God. I was not thinking of blessing you when I haven't been blessed by God first of all. I couldn't have gone into writing if I didn't have an overflowing cup caused by study, the Spirit's inspiration and God's anointing. If I had started in pretense, I would have stopped because I would have become dry like a bone by now. However, I am not finished. Rather, I'm still welling up with substance and surely will continue in that unto the perfect day. All these became possible because I one day received the living water (Christ's life) into my life. It's this Christ's life that I've jealously groomed that has led to its constant welling. It is out of my own water I am now pouring out for people to drink. However, the initial deposit was from God.

It means, "the more abundant life" is the rich life. First, in spiritual substances and qualities that we've examined. That life has peace like no other. The fruits of the Spirit are parts of what make this life the more abundant life. It is a life filled with many of Christ's blessings. When Jesus says, "I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly" He immediately assures you'll have an unhampered life. A life where you have all the supplies that could keep you running. Those supplies will be so numerous that it'll litter your life in abundance. They'll keep welling, showing forth and manifesting. They'll be products of Christ's life in you that has now turned into a large river that's still cumulating.

I pray that you will not be empty of God's blessings. In growth, you will grow so that you can reach the mind of God for you and be wealthy in all things. Jesus has not come so that we can live a hampered, hindered and unfulfilled life. He came so that we can have life and have it more abundantly. He wants you to have a teeming mind, one bustling with ideas and creativity. He has given us a long rope and elasticity to live or aspire to. While this prioritizes inner joy and satisfaction yet it will overspill into the daily bread and necessities with which God will satisfy you also. You can't but have your meat from God. The Bible says in Psalms 104 : 27-28, "27 These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season. 28 That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good."

We are filled with good and that's because God gives us. We have life and life more abundantly because they are promises that are possible which we have now accessed in Christ. The elasticity of God's promise to us is not only life but life more abundantly (the teeming life). If that be so, may our land - starting with our spirit, soul to other ventures begin to bring forth abundantly. Any inactivity is revived and called forth into productivity. We are not alone but meant to germinate and bring forth large yields. We have been sown into - given Christ's life. We will maximize all it could do.

PRAYER: Lord, I have Your life in me. Therefore, I know life more abundantly and teeming productivity/creativity in my soul. Through life and life more abundantly, make me a teeming blessing to others.

WELLING UP TO ETERNITY - Life More Abundantly Series 009

John 4:14, KJV

"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."

God intends that the water He has given to you will well up to eternity - to His coming. For it however to well up to eternity or everlasting life, God expects that you will give it handles to doing that.

You have received life but if you sit like that without engaging it on a daily basis, the life in you will be like a shriveled seed. It will not germinate or bubble. It cannot even grow to take space in your life.

However, if you'll give the effort and discipline of personal intimacy with God, then you'll be given avenues for that water to well up to eternal life. That's how God designs our life to be lived. It's not a life that He expected to be lived without Him.. Once you have the life that gives you the right to come to Him in fellowship and He to you, then let fellowship starts. The receiving of that life is the initiation of relationship - between you and God. However, fellowship is yours to maintain in order to keep the water welling. God does not ordain that you'll have the joy of salvation today and have quietness, depression and internal solitude for weeks because you've abandoned your altar. Joy, bubbling and welling is only in God's presence and you need all those to cope with daily life's challenges as you go.

As we speak, the water is not welling in some people. Though they have the life but there's no bubbling, springing and ongoing activities that makes a man feel alive and fed internally. Nothing of those good works going on in them. So, they are tired, used and spent. They look like those at a loss and like one whose core nutrient has been sucked to nothingness.

The Water deposit (which is Christ's life) in you is to well up to eternity. It means it ought not to diminish, decrease or finish. In some life, it looked finished. They have no assurance of salvation again because it's been long since they practiced the presence of God. When you leave alone the patronizing of God's presence, you're saying, "Though I have life in me, I will starve it" and once you begin to starve the life in you, it cannot generate into life more abundant. A flourishing life does not automatically come from the initial deposit of water (life) God gives you at salvation, it comes from the One promised you and descended to you as you walk, intimate and enjoy God's presence. The life more abundant is promised to you but you can't have it without conscious daily work with the Holy Ghost in friendship.

The "life more abundantly" is where we receive many promising and flourishing things for our souls and lives. That experience of "A life more abundant" is a further step birthed and maintained through intimacy. Nothing more. How your life will look on the outside is determined by how it looks inside when you are with God.

Do you really want this Water (life in you) to well/spring on to eternity? Then, let it be that you don't stop adding wood to the furnace so that the fire doesn't go out.

PRAYER: Father, help me with the consistency of fellowship to keep life in me welling. I put the cares of the world and distractions where they should be.

THE MORE ABUNDANT LIFE: A WELLING UP TO ETERNAL LIFE - Life More Abundantly Series 008

John 4:14, KJV

"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."

Kai! What a thing! What a revelation! Jesus tells this woman that, "Whosoever drinks of the water that He shall give shall never thirst..."

Let's see why the fellow shall never thirst. The latter part of that verse explains why though we know that "thirst" or "to thirst" as used here doesn't mean thirsting for physical water but rather the Way/Life that satisfies and fills.

The latter part and reason for which those who drink (take the salvation that He offers) will never go here and there seeking for ways or hows to be saved and secured for eternal life is given as this.

"...but the water that I shall give him shall become in him a well of water springing or welling to eternal life."

Why this fellow will not thirst for life or stand aghast or ever feel choked or starved of life is because of a continual renewal and sustenance that will happen. From the initial donation of Jesus Christ - of Christ's life into his own life, his life will begin to experience daily and often personal refreshing without any external factor determining its joy. It means once you have Christ's life and you can keep intimacy with Him, you will in essence not run dry. Why? The life or seed life of Christ in you will be given continuous enlightenment to continue. It'll be like helping a fire to burn more by adding more fuel. God's life in us is seeking to enlarge. It's seeking to grow and become very big, churning out several products but first, it must well or spring on. That's why that place says, "springing or welling to eternal life." When a physical well wells-up, certain things happen. First is the oozing of water from the earth or its fountain. Then, this water wells up to amount to a huge sum of water that can self sustain and renew its holder. That's why the weary comes to the well to fetch and drink.

This is where the Word of God has come to make sense again when it says, "18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord" (Ephesians 5:18-19, KJV).

When God's life in you begins to reproduce and expand, you can't but experience an internal personal refreshing and sustenance. A well doesn't need external water that keeps welling or springing forth continuous. This is the well of salvation and you can even draw water from it - not only for your personal use but to give to others.

Isaiah 12:3, KJV

"Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation."

The life of God in us (as the water He has given us) will not only stay, become roomy in us but it will well continuously both as we relate in fellowship with God and transit from this early realm. It is a well that starts or begins to the end. It doesn't finish as God intended.

Are you ready for this Water? Are you ready for His life and life more abundantly? Receive it now! Wherever there's decay and corruption ongoing in your life, let them stop by the invasion of life and life more abundantly. You can't be sick, permanently injured, running with afflictions and all sorts of contradictions while with life and life abundantly inside you. The reason is because life and life abundantly will automatically neutralize and swallow up your sicknesses, infirmities and even death. May life and life more abundantly that you will receive from Jesus Christ our Savior renews, revitalizes, rejuvenates and eventually resurrects you! Please, take the sinner's prayer if you aren't born again and seek to receive this life. That's the best life!

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I acknowledge my sins and I ask for your forgiveness. Pen me down in the book of life, seal me with the Holy Ghost and let me henceforth begin to experience the rejoicing and welling up of Your Life in me.
