BOW ABIDING IN STRENGTH

Read Daniel 3:23-27

Genesis 49:23-24, KJV

"23 The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him: 24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:"

May your bow abide in strength despite all. Only few do have the experience of this blessing in their lives. After being fought, grieved and assaulted, people do become reactors of those actions. Whenever they become reactors to such, it means they've finally being gotten. The impact of the launcher upon them has finally come to pass. Indeed, the enemy is progressing over them.

Jacob said of Joseph as he that the archers have worried. The archers are his brothers. They sorely maltreated him. At their selling him off, he faced hell in slavery through their that singular action. However, he abode in strength. How do we ascertain that Joseph's bow abode in strength? There's no trace of their act on him. They intended it for evil but God meant it for good. If you read about the Hebrew men that were thrown into the furnace, we were told that the fire had no impact on them. The place of the action of people against you not having its intended purpose though they have directly face you to wreck you down is the place where your bow abide in strength. We were told that the fire never had any impact on them. It was not even felt they were once thrown into the fire after being called forth. No smell of it let alone their being singed. They rather remained as they were before they were thrown into the furnace. These are golden boys who refused to melt by divine aid at the sight of what should subdue and end their lives. In this wise, we'll say they endured, abode in strength and remained constant or valiant in battle. They mock the enemy's devices at them!

You must know that the nature man carries is not "built to last". He's mortal. We learnt he's dust and so he is susceptible to weariness but whenever immortality steps in like it did for these Hebrew boys, the fight is prolonged, the desire of the enemy becomes an irony and evil is turned to good and then you could go on fighting without wearing down though all siege is against you. If not for the Almighty encouraging Joseph through the relieves He constantly gave him in form of his being the head after all, he would have crumbled. His salvation whenever he enters into trouble until he was perfected is an encouragement that emboldens him to trust He who helped him over the paws of the lion and the bear Who's more able to help him over the Goliath of things still in front.

Joseph was fought. He was seriously grieved. Being grieved means being frustrated but the testimony was that he didn't become bitter let alone become the outcome of his being seriously and bitterly worried. I pray for you that you won't manifest the intention of ancestral spirit and those who intend your wreckage. At the end of the day, he still told his brother that they meant it for evil but God meant it for good [Gen.50:20]. Now, this testimony is an unusual one. It reveals he who passes through the water who didn't get touched by it. That was the testimony of any not affected or made bitter by whatsoever evil done at him. Those who naturally give such witness are those nothing is unleased at and has never experienced a thing that'll trigger bitterness. However, for men who have been sorely grieved by their bosses, step father/mother, siblings, parents, friends e.t.c to speak in that manner, that is rare and ain't normal. What they should speak and seek is revenge but count a Joseph out. His bow abide in strength and so he could confess and act as one. Look, today, because you're waiting on the Lord, you'll renew your strength. You won't get to a breaking point intended for you. Divine intervention and resources would aid you and you shall know the life that endures though the target of hell and men from all sides is to wreck you down. I pronounce on you endurance in battle and then victory at last. You will wear out all enemies wearing at your shield. Your testimony would be that of a fighter who refuses to burn out despite the attack's concentration. Your testimony is that of a candle who refuses to burn down despite being used! That's mysterious. Tell me how possible except by the Lord who could make the arms of your hands strong and not for once go down.

PRAYER: Lord, make my mountain strong. Let my bow abide in strength. Irrespective of the evil or difficulties life will throw at me, may I not wane in strength. I won't be bitter let alone repay evil with evil. He who comes from above is above all.
