WHAT A CHRISTIAN SHOULD DO WHEN THE WORLD CAN'T BUT NEED HIS SERVICE

Acts 8:35, KJV

"Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus."

The world will need you. They will come to your doorstep. Somehow, what you are known for as a professional can't but inevitably bring them to you. Once they are in this manner brought to you, ensure you show them Jesus.

There are three doors. They are doors of ministry, faith and then utterance. As it concerns this teaching, I shall by the Hallowed One, Jesus Christ focus on the door of ministry. God knows what He is doing. You must as well be sensitive to recognize His moves in your own day.

God's angel in today's passage hinted Philip on where to be. The fact that divine guidance is possible either through an angel or other means. Christians are not at the mercy of the world and its happenings. They can be led by the steady words that proceed from God's mouth daily. In heeding, Philip met himself on the way to Gaza. There, he was told to join himself to a chariot. As he obeyed, he overheard a man reading Isaiah. Then, Philip asked, did you get what you're reading?

Acts 8:31, KJV

"And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him."

Did you read the Ethiopian Eunuch's confession? He said "how can he understand?" He had just bought a book he couldn't understand. He is reading it for the excitement of having contacted a new faith - for exploration sake but he neither has the Holy Ghost to give him interpretation nor a human guide to at least help out. At least, we knew he was not born again until the preaching of Jesus to him. That's why he desired Philip to join him even in his fancy car. May God make people not have any other choice but rather to accommodate you. It happened there. Philip was not accepted neutrally. He was accepted because the Ethiopian Eunuch knew he would be useful to him. Every man is born selfish and for you to see those that will open up to you without profit to make is rare. He desperately needs an interpreter to crack what Prophet Isaiah says. He needs answers to what he has read. In his own words, look at how he childishly as an unlearned man in the Scriptures and God's things ask Philip of who the place he read talks about.

Acts 8:34, KJV

"And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?"

Those were the words that said Jesus was led as a lamb to the slaughter. He didn't even know whether Isaiah was saying it to have happened to another or Isaiah himself. You can see the need in his life. He has money and influence. He's not a man of mean status. He has his own ride but he can't crack a book. Divine things were hidden from him because God needed to penetrate him.

So, this was the opportunity that Philip caught on. It was here that Philip could have understood why God by his angel directed him away from home to that place. We were told that Philip who obviously knew what he was doing and had came to the why God had made an opening possible for him to speak to this man then opened his mouth not only to explain that portion of Isaiah to him but rather to preach Jesus to him.

What is our gospel? Jesus! What is our intent? Jesus. Jesus is the gospel. The gospel is Jesus. Preach Jesus in all your preaching. He preached Jesus - his birth, life, ministry, death, ascension etc and from this, he led the man to Christ. Philip so much more preached Jesus plainly to him that it was even the Eunuch that later said as they journeyed, "look, this is water. What stops me from being baptized." Did you see a converted disciple already?

Everything began when that African needed the help of Philip. There was a service he couldn't give to himself but God had positioned Philip there for him. So, Philip being wise not only gave that service but gave the one that's the basis for the one he has given and others the man might be given. Saint, you must discern as clients patronise you not only to help them do their hair but to subtly as you sing or humm preach Jesus to them. If anyone comes to your workshop as a mechanic and you begin to play a sermon, will they say you should stop it? They'll be obliged to hear even if they're not comfortable. They know they have come to your own carved out territory and you're the one who decides what goes there. Not anyone. If you have a hospital, instead of allowing the sick to watch news which are but tragedies and faith contaminants, you can tune to a channel where a message on healing and faith is what they're soaking in. You can control that. If you tell them that's the channel you have to offer and not any other and it's static, even if they think of leaving you, they won't because they'll always remember that you offer the best in healthcare.

Today, God is calling all of us to be secret disciples under our professional wears. A spy won't tell you he's a spy but he knows he's progressing in his work of gathering information. Even if the world don't know who you are, you should and work in that revelation. When the Lord opens freely door of ministry to you to minister and later supplies utterance to you and faith to your hearer, may you not waste his effort.

PRAYER: God, sensitize me to what You'll have me do per term. When there is a wide door opened, may I be open to you too.

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - Olusola ADEJUMO

THE HONOUR WITH WHICH GOD HONOURS HIS MINISTERS

Read Acts 10

Acts 10:5-6, KJV

"5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: 6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do."

There is a honour with which God honours His ministers. There's no profession that doesn't attract its own honour. There will always be a reason why some other people from without covets a profession and wish they're those within it. May you be part of those God will meet with such.

God by His angel appeared to Cornelius. He was a man that heaven had remembrance on for his prayers and much alms. Heaven doesn't collect from people without giving back to them. God is not a man user without rewarding men with Himself. On that note, God looks for the best way to acknowledge, appreciate and compensate for all his good. So, he gave him a vision where he instructed him to send for a man named Simon Peter who will tell him what he ought to do.

Did you see that at all? That was an angel speaking to Cornelius but that angel couldn't preach the gospel to him. It is men that preach the gospel not angels. As powerful as angels are, God has not committed into their hands the personal work of preaching the gospel to the world. It rather has been given to men. What a honour done men and done those specifically found worthy of such noble task.

God is doing His men honour. What honour, your curious mind asks? The honour of committing into His ministers hands the great privilege of telling people what to do.

Look, as great as that Centurion was, he couldn't instruct himself. As great as the one that appeared to him was [knowing and telling him so many things], he couldn't preach to him. He however said, send for Peter who will tell you what ye ought to do.

Ministers know what God would have men do. They're custodian of what God will have people do. When men are confused, the minister ought to be upright and know what they should do. God's counsel dwells with him. Utterance and words for the season answers him. So, whenever men looks forward to God for a seasonal word to attend their needs, they need not worry because there's one who is ordained an oracle of God to tear them God's mind for that season.

The privilege and honour God does Peter in that place was that he kept Cornelius and all others' bread gathered in his house with him with Peter. Until he arrived, they were not fed. He was the one they were expecting since the angel gave charge they should go bring him to minister.

Guest ministers, are you following? When you're invited to minister, it is not your fashion, grammar, phonics or style people are waiting for. Why they have invited you and for which they earnestly wait in all expectation with prayer and longing for their needs to be met is that through you, God will tell them what they ought to do.

What a rare privilege that until Peter showed them the way by preaching Jesus to them, they didn't know the way. They just don't know how to get themselves born again. What a mystery that one man's bread is held by another man.

I pray for all ministers, you won't become irrelevant in God's hands as to have this honour elude you. May you always be found God's mouth piece when there's an occasion for it. Philip was found for the Ethiopian Eunuch. You won't be exempted in Jesus name.

PRAYER: Find me for my audience Lord. Make me important in my niche and to my generation. Lord, carry me to minister before kings and nations.

GRATITUDE OVER WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN DESPISED

THANK GOD FOR HIS VISITATION

I really thank God for His visitation. I just have so many things to say. Meanwhile, there are moments when even if you have a thing to say, other string-tight commitment won't allow. At times, there won't be enough stirring at all. A reminder that we're but humans while Christ in us is our hope of glory.

So, for being privileged to write or communicate God's burden to the body of Christ; in humble adoration, I say, glory to God.

People of God, don't take simple things for granted o. That includes being able to feed and feed properly. If after eating doughnut; chin-chin and lollypop follows, you should know that's a miracle God keeps repeating for you on daily basis. If your mouth never dries even if it's because you don't have the demands of ministers to fast, still thank God. Even fasting isn't easy. That's why the Bible describes it as an affliction.

If when you speak, you have ready listeners, you should thank God for them. It is not good when one is talking and nobody shows interest. But when you speak and people are relating, reacting, connecting, associating, intimating and are imitating, you ought to say, 'O God, what have you wrath?"

I told my beloved one day. I said "how good it would be settling down somewhere where one would just go out for crusades and some ministrations, then come back home to instruct the multitude of eager disciples that are learning Christ of one and dies hard to receive one back. You'll know there's no joy in hoarding blessings then. You only dig to the bottom when you have inquisitive spiritual children. The same happens in the classroom setting. Students can be short-changed of their portion from a teacher - a bank of knowledge if they don't ask questions or know how to relate with him. Other way, the best of the teacher may not be given if there are no new challenges to call it forth also.

What you must know especially if you're a minister or even an upcoming is that there's a stage of growth you can attain where giving out will be naturally birthed or triggered in you. Why? You've been a good follower and have been equipped enough while in your season of 'make-me.' Now, maturity has brought you to a place where you even seek platforms to minister, impart gifts like Paul on others or seek doers you can share burdens and revelations with. Let time and patience bear its effects on you. Don't step into leadership or begin to offer a ministry if you have not been internally or consciously brought to recognize you are now in such season to dispense. When such time comes, naturally, you'll feel too burdened and pressed to discharge. You'll be like a mother at the labour room. Her only focus is to give birth.

Do you know that if people makes demands on an anointed especially to hear him; do you know that teaching will be triggered? Often in Jesus ministry, the trigger to teach or climb the mountain for such happened when He saw the crowd. You'll be hearing things like "as the multitude press on Him.. [Matthew 5:1-2, Luke 5:1-3]. Kai!

There's something that calls your best out when you receive an inner feedback and communication that some people yearns for you and what God has given you for them. What God has given any minister isn't for him. That's why he can't minister to himself. That's why he must also follow some other ministers and learn to receive by faith from them also. I tell you people of God, no one is an absolute authority anywhere.

The joy of communicating and being received is what births mighty works. All ministers reading this should pay special attention to these words. Have you not read that Jesus couldn't do any mighty works because He was not accepted? Look at what unbelief in a minister could cause [Matthew 13:54-58, Mark 6:2-6].

However, where there's acceptance, what always happen? ... mighty works in strong doctrine/teaching, healing, signs and wonders will proceed. God can recognize hunger when people have one. It is not the anointed that gauge what each in a congregation gets from God. They do. As an anointed teaches, you determine how much of the force of the Spirit or energy would flow to you and for your need.

Rejection can be felt. You don't have to throw stones at the one you're rejecting. In same manner,  acceptance spurs you and urges you on and on. Kaimona!

So, I won't take it for granted. I preached a message one day somewhere and somebody under the ministration met me afterwards and told me God gave him this same message sometimes ago but till then, he couldn't preach it. So, why not thank God!

So, I dedicate this short teaching to all the passionate enduring readers and followers of us as we follow Christ. Thanks for bearing with my long teachings.  I want to salute you for always reading our spirit-meat as Abba oils us. May it not stop blessing you.

As you pray for the minister the more, God can use him more mightily. So, always remember him. I'll say, "you're beloved and verily cherished."

You won't lose your place. Amidst the great and the strong, God will give you a place.

Namaste!

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - Olusola ADEJUMO

THE MERCY OF GOD

Read Luke 22:39-43

I Corinthians 10:13, KJV

"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

It is the mercy of God that measures to us what we can each carry. Even in gifting, He gives to us according to our abilities. Do you know gift can kill? The commitment of God if given at a high level that is not pedaled can wear any out and consequently be to his detriment. That's why it's better to grow in your office, grace or anointing because by reason of time, you'll learn how to put it under. But if 80% out of the 100% of oil you'll one day carry should fall on you like that, if pride do not kill you or other perils of the anointed, the demands of the anointing itself will send you home by either wearing out your mortal body or drawing you to minister until it tells on your health.

That's one of the reasons God rather allocates to us in measures or droplets. It's God's wisdom but more importantly, that instance shows His mercy.

If you have a child that you don't want to send to his early grave, will you not measure to him tasks that you believe he should be able to discharge according to his capability or age? Do you task him and make demands on him like you would do for yourself?

When you're tempted, God is there watching. He does one thing. He will never, never and never allow you to be tempted until you're overwhelmed or say, 'enough is enough' and then proceed into prostitution, robbery or even commit suicide.

There's a thing that God always do that interests me. He'll dig a hole. He'll create a space of mercy. He'll make a demand for that thing not to be overstretched so that you won't fall under that weight and get crushed. Many of us have experienced situations that almost broke us before. While we were at the bank or edge of being broken where you could hear groaning and sweat as thick as blood rolling down from us, God orders that situation to a halt. Then, it stops and like a man who's been under torture or training in a military camp, we rise in gratitude from that experience. Meanwhile, we have gathered strength for another day. That space of relieve doesn't mean a stop forever. More will still come. That's why we're assured of redemption. If we were pressed yesterday but survived, tomorrow won't be an exemption. That's why that place says God is faithful. You can always count on His appearance for salvation or deliverance even when it seems you'll be broken and totally shattered now. David while giving assurance to Saul said, "the God that delivered me out of the paws of the lion and the bear will deliver me out of this uncircumcised Philistines [I Samuel 17:37]." That's God's faithfulness he was referencing. He knows that enough that God is faithful and would provide a way of escape.

Look, in all, God is indeed faithful. He will create a way of escape for you from that situation. Let patience have its time. Afterwards, you'll raise gratitude to Him. As I'm observing, what you're currently passing through can't kill you. You'll be kept and preserved. Why? The Lord still has need of you. Whatsoever the Lord has need of, it is such He preserves from being violated even though stretched. That's how He preserved that colt for Jesus use. It was a brand new colt that no one has never ridden on. Why? Because one day, it will serve purpose. Look, receive escape and your relieve now.

PRAYER: God of escape, my life is in your hands for escape. Repeat Your being faithful at my temptation and nearing breaking point.

PATRIOTISM & LOYALTY TO FATHERLAND

HOW TO BE PATRIOTIC AND LOYAL TO FATHERLAND - Part 1

Let me start by saying, pastors must be alive to their responsibilities. Many people have not been taught proper behaviour from their homes or where they are coming from. This thing is first of all the work God crafted for parents in the home setting. However, if such people can't receive the communication of such ministration from parents, God in His infinite mercy do not want them escape it. So, He'll bring them to a church or a father who has the content, discipline, strength and comfort of the calling to instill it in them. Any child that won't say, "yours is too much" to parents will always turn out to be different. When they number him amidst multitude, they will quickly see 'quality' which differs from quantity.

Let the righteous correct me and it will be oil of excellence on my head hasn't changed.

Psalms 141:5, KJV

"Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities."

IF you will submit and be rebuked, you won't know when by the many corrections and adjustments made so far in your life when you'll begin to radiate and manifest excellence. Amidst congregation or community of men, even people from afar will testify of a thing in you that makes you different from others. That's the thing observed in the four Hebrew boys that made them to be esteemed as having a different life in all their encounters. Why? The amount of Judaism that has been imparted into them classes them out amidst thousands if not millions of strangers and citizens in Babylon. Though they've left home yet home and good habit haven't quit them. They were patriotic even in the face of death. It is the content in you you can manifest. If you've been under a bad minister, it will show in speech, deed and demeanour. There won't be anything called Holy Spirit's restraint on your spirit or action at all. No sobriety or decorum. You will just be jumping like an unbridled horse and you'll one day get in trouble for that.

When some ministers follow the pattern God instructed all ministers to build in while some collapses and waters it down to have multitude that are still not whole, some people will be made to see those building according to pattern as hard men and difficult to cope with. Same happens in schools and in teacher-student relationship.

If you're reading this, God wants you to be patriotic and have a special allegiance and love for your country or the place called home. It was yesterday God was telling me to tell some people not to join their mouths to the reward of the wicked. Each of us will have what we're saying and what we say long enough.

Look, when people are speaking unpatriotically of their fatherland, despite being in the same shoe or even a worst situation, bridle yourself not to follow same. Act defiantly against that spirit of ridicule, mockery and sarcastic remarks that instead of looking for the good of his homeland is always and constantly publishing its shame. I'll say you, you who reads this today has a choice to do otherwise.

If we take a practical example, how many of such men would have irresponsible parents and come out at all or as often as they've done in tearing their fatherland down to spread their parents' ill in the public?

Do you know why they won't do that? They'll be as well embarrassed. They know if my parents or siblings are embarrassed, I am also. We have families that are poor, have insanity running as a flow or possesses one thing they are hiding which is troubling their ocean. Meanwhile, you can't know it because they don't talk it about. Even if your own family don't have any of these, I'm sure it has its own problems, for we humans can't but have one or the other. Do you come out on social media mocking it? Not once!

You only mock a thing you're not part of. Some people are not Nigerians. Don't misconceive their being in the designated geographic place called NIGERIA to call them Nigerians. Just like all those who call on God are not known by Him, likewise apply.

As for you, don't let it stem out of your mouth that it has ended for your country. If you say this enough, your life may be taken one day. You will just end. It is the law of life and death you're working and it's in your tongue. While you're gone, your country will still be existing. Be patriotic! Look for the good in or of your country and make that your emphasis. Post it with pride and speak of it in adorable words. One day, all these would have become prophecies that can solidify into tangibilities. Doing this also will teach you how to call things that be not as though they were until it manifests in the sense realm. In essence, you're living and simply acting faith.

Psalms 122:6, KJV

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee."

From here, you now know those who will prosper.

From your mouth, don't speak evil of your leaders. They have enough problems already. More importantly, don't misconcept I'm in government or a civil servant to have written this nor am I condoning a government that should do better. I'm only a citizen like you are. Together with you, Nigeria, Africa or your own nation can be better. We pray, act and live in faith. So, we receive our preorders!

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - 28/07/2021

 WEDNESDAY - 28TH JULY, 2021

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - Olusola ADEJUMO

WHERE THE LORD MUST CONFUSE YOUR LANGUAGE

Read Gen. 11:1-9, Numbers 22

Genesis 11:9, KJV

"Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth."

Don't judge a teaching by its heading. If you do, you can easily be offended and not get what the eyes have not seen nor ears have not heard that God has prepared for you that's there.

God must confuse your language. What you're building must not be completed. God must remove you from those false plans you want to hatch. What!

After the flood, the people journeyed seeking rest. They finally found rest in Shinar. A very comfortable valley to settle in. There, they decided to erect an edifice such that people would see and sigh, praising such men who have wrath such work. You see, the desire to achieve great feat or do things that would shock its hearers have been of old. Your wanting to make it or do great things must however not be to your praise first of all but God's praise. If in your pursuit to make a name for yourself, a name won't be made for the Lord, then there's no point going on such venture.

God came to check on these men and on peeping out of heaven's window, He saw that these men would achieve what they have set their minds to do. More so, they are at advantage of being of one speech. They understand each other as well and they have solely come to agreement. If nothing however is quickly done, God's plan that men exists over the surface of all the earth won't be achieved or let's say quickly achieved.

The very purpose for which this men have sought to build this great edifice that would reach to heaven contradicted God's. They wanted to stay together. God wanted them to spread out.

Brethren, God cares for you and He is very much after you. Like I used to say, "it will take a miracle - a mysterious mystery for a child of God to be finally defeated." Why did I talk in this manner? Because God takes thought for each Christian. He won't allow you go on your own way. Whenever God sees a Christian beginning to thread his own path, God like any earthly father will express a yearning heart after him. He'll pursue him and seek to stop him from continuation of what he has laid hands on. That's God's salvation and deliverance on the way. You might have been on the way - already doing something but God is an interrupter. I pray He stops you from a continuation of what won't serve His purpose and then bless you at day's end. Whenever God comes to stop men at work and places stop sign at the site where they labour, they may take God for a bad God who hinders people from having their own way. No, rather see Him as one who appears to preserve you from ultimatel

Look at Balaam, it took that kind of miracle I mentioned for him to fall into error. It took obstinacy and consistency on the wrong road for him to be allowed to go his way. Yet, you could see the so many checks and balances God puts on his way to restrain him after openly defying by desiring to go with the second messengers of Balak. First of all, his donkey of many years that he's accustomed with to have not acted funny for once started acting weird. He forced the donkey to journey but an angel was in his path. Rather, the donkey turned away on several occasions and endured his beating. It got to head when the donkey spoke for a sign yet he was still not moved. He saw the angel with the drawn sword and heard what he said on how he was sent to restrain him because his way was perverse before the Lord, yet he still had inner desire to go. It was then his reprobate desire was given him out of inconvenience and unhappiness of God. May you not strive with God until you turn God's hands to have your will. In the contention for the supreme will, may God always have the last say.

I pray, wherever you're on your own journey, building your own building, may you be intercepted. All buildings that won't serve the overall purpose of God won't be completed!

THE HUNGRY AND HIS SITUATION

THE HUNGRY

Read @ www.morningwingsministry.blogspot.com

Let me ask, "have you been hungry before?" Know ahead of time that the kind of 'being hungry before' I talk about isn't the kind where you'll say I'm hungry and not too long, you have eaten. That one isn't hunger. If you receive the stimulus of hunger and you can within a limited frame of time satisfy yourself, I'll say you've not really experienced hunger.

The hunger I'm talking about is the kind that descends and for at least twenty four hours or a reasonable time one wouldn't have continued without food [if he has the wherewithal himself to meet his needs let alone being tempted to act against moral or the laws] continues without food. This kind of hunger do carry consequences in its trail.

It can lead to cold. Have you seen somebody that's clothed and well clad in swollen clothe yet shivers before? That kind of cold is internal. Not the one that the breeze causes. The breeze can only top it. If you're hungry till you begin to shiver from the inside, then you're really hungry. That is when you leave being hungry to being famished. That is, you have nothing left in your belly to sustain you. Esau got to that point and he sold his birthright for food. Don't blame him, he was desperate. He reached a breaking point. Each of us has our breaking points on all issues of life. May you not be tempted beyond what you can bear as said the Scriptures. Even if you're on the road to being broken, may God's salvation redeem you from consequently reaching there. I order angels to give you an immediate passageway of escape. Syria was waiting for Samaria to break but my Lord rather made Syria hear the noises of many chariots [which he mistaken for many armies rented against him] and so fled. That's how Jireh broke that process and redeemed Samaria from surrendering. Receive redemption in any area of your life. I pray you won't go. You won't go just like that. Satan is disappointed!

Now, from that point of real hunger, you'll become frail and less interested in common activities. More so, it can now visibly than before easily show on your face that you're hungry. The aspect of hunger showing on one's face was what Jesus wanted us guard against when we fast when He said these.:

Matthew 6:16-18, KJV

"16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; 18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly."

Jesus Himself acknowledged hunger showing on one's face when fasting. It's because God didn't create any man to survive without food. We're not angels. That's why Jesus proffered a solution which was to cream one's head and wash the face often to ease that tension of hunger being noticed.

Except you're a fasting Christian like some Christians; that's when your breaking point where hunger would have been easily noticed on you would be deferred into the future of days to come. If some Christians have not eaten for three days or even more, it won't show so noticeably on them since they've always being living in sobriety. Such fellow's activities may be slowed down but because he has always maintained the quiet moving pace, it will be hard to guess or notice him. The truth anyway is that hunger has a way of describing itself on one's face. A man that the map of hunger reflects over is such man that needs an emergency economic aid.

Also, any that's really hungry can get to a state of inactivity. A place where he shuts down and stops working. That's why such resort to sleep which may not even come easily especially if headache or stomachache should accompany it. That's because he's too weak to think or carry his body parts to do activities. That is why if you ask those that does long fasting, they'll tell you they only stay in one place to pray once they hit at their time of deep weakness. Long fasting here is not three or seven days marathon to some Christians. If you're doing the kind of fasting that can make you look like a hungry [starved] man, you'll get to a place where you can't speak in prayer again. Rather, you'll be muttering. As time goes on, you'll be humming or groaning. Only in thoughts will your activities even be as you even ascend further. That's how people trek long journey in the spirit. Fasting is hard but definitive and purposeful but hunger is harder because there's no aim being hungry is targeted at. Who experiments with hunger intentionally to discover truths about it?

This is why you must forever be awake and aware to the needs of the needy around you. Many there be that are currently in this position. If they should cross your path, ensure something of yours drops for them. Many there be on our streets, even in Lagos that commercial city. I can't number how many have requested me to buy food for them. Some are even specific. They'll say, "bread." They're now opting for food because many might not want to give them money because of many reasons and what experience have taught men under this sun.

That's why I'm praying that you won't be hungry. Mind you, you'll be hungry but to get to a place where you'll desire even getting a common food to manage yet without getting, may the Maker of Israel always hinder you from descending there.

If you ask the prodigal son, he would write an essay on hunger for you. If you can't wait to read that, he'll give you a summary writing on the topic "hunger." Do you know why? He got to a place where he knew hunger and hunger knew him. Let me show you.

Luke 15:16, KKV

"And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him."

Did you see that? He got to a place where he was so pressed on all sides by hunger that he descended in desire to feed on what pigs do eat but even that one, nobody allowed him. Those who knew hunger were those who got to a place where they went back to dip their hands in their trousers' pockets, purses or rummage through their wares for either money or a little provision with which to salvage the situation, yet without getting any.

Father, what did you promise we your children?

Psalms 34:10,KJV

"The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing."

Lord, that "any good thing", use it to cushion us. Let that testimony become flesh to dwell with us forever.

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - Olusola ADEJUMO

THE MAN THAT CAN SAY, "I WILL NOURISH YOU"

Genesis 50:21, KJV

"Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them."

You must know that there will be a time in everyone's life where he or she is fulfilling "when they were but a few men in number and while they move from one nation to another, He suffers no man to touch them [Psalm 105:12-14]. Such time is a period of smallness. It is very much associated with childishness and inability to even rebuke ills for oneself. It is a blessing finding God to persuade and rebuke men on one's behalf however at this time. At that time, a man or woman has not been made. He may not have what it takes to nourish another. It is still his period of gathering when he fights to amount.

Joseph said to his brethren, "I will nourish you." That won't be the first time he'll be saying same. He had said it to his brothers when they first discovered him. When Joseph said he'll nourish them, he was speaking of nourishing over sixty people or let's say seventy in total [Gen.46:26-27]. Money or resources in some people's hands isn't for fashion parade. It is to fulfill obligation.

Joseph said "I'll nourish you" as if the whole earth was in his hands. Indeed, he was speaking of things he was assured of. How many people can speak in like manner, looking at all their family members and then say "I will nourish you." The question is, "has he nourished himself first of all?" That statement can never spree out of the mouth of he that's still trying to have bread spared for himself. The fellow who was assuring others he'll feed them was not one relying on the generosity of another. The resources is in his own hands and as it seems, he doesn't even needs Pharaoh's permission before spending it on his family.

I want you to know that one of the blessings any man can experience is to have other people's bread given to him to keep and release upon request to them. It's a privilege. If you see someone in a family that God raises very high above others with an economic gap they can't easily near, God has chosen that man as a custodian of the wealth of others.

My prayer is just that God will take all head of families to the height where they can say to their extended family, "I will nourish you and nothing will happen!" Some that are trying to be responsible by taking on the responsibility of a nourisher for now over their own nuclear families let alone extended family have the testimony of it not flowing. The responsibility of the responsible is burdensome. If it were possible, you'll even have loved to escape it but how can you shut your bowels of compassion at your own. That's worst than denying the faith. For this reason, you keep trudging on.

When Joseph said, "I will nourish you", he was adding responsibility upon responsibility. He already had the work of feeding his nuclear family to discharge but when he took it upon himself in those words to feed the family of his father, Jacob, he had written a letter to a high level kind of job. Yet, you knew it was not difficult for him because he rules Egypt at this time. Grain was under his command. He had enough to eat and give away. The Bible told us afore the famine that Joseph had gathered grain until it couldn't be numbered again. So, there's abundance that can incapacitate responsibility at hand.  There's a height or a place to get to where each you won't see it as responsibility feeding multitude. If you don't know, it was a nation Joseph fed throughout those years of famine. How I pray that you and I will be hastened by the anointing that doesn't repent today to get here. I told someone that even if the government of a country is irresponsible, if every one that God has paved way for can take care of his family needs, the poverty and problems in the country will reduce. Who are those their family are looking up onto here? If I be called with a holy call, may you by grace mixing with favour grow to become a tree that the birds of the air can make houses on. May God accommodate many people under your branches. May comfort arise for your people from you. May it be that you'll be sent ahead of them to put in place for them as to be nourished.

You see, those of you who have gotten early education in your families or are the first to have a breakthrough that's economic, that's the kind of job God is calling you to do. Joseph also was sent ahead of his people. His journey was accelerated in making it because of some people that must be preserved. Joseph knew the calling that was on him. You must know yours. An economic deliverer is a great deliverer also. It is not only Satan that kills. Hunger, poverty kills. With these prevalent in anyone's life, they'll even be weak and lacking in morale to fight the devil. No man tackles what is secondary when primary haunts him.

To all men especially on whom the call of being a nourisher rests on primarily, by the anointing, I say God is obligated to you today. What is not enough shall be topped. The call to nourish your family, extended and all that will be brought across you shall be effortlessly done. You won't see it as responsibility sponsoring many people at the same time. It won't be from pain, struggle or friction that's murmuring and complaining. The wherewithal shall be given you in Jesus name.

PRAYER: Take me to a place where I can assume responsibility for multitude. Give me the wealth to preserve people.

THOSE WHO CAN BOAST

II Timothy 4:6-7

"6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:"

There's difference between "I have finished the course" and "I'm fulfilling the course." One denotes completion and a laying to rest while the other reveals an ongoing action.

Yesterday, we saw the reply of Ahab to Benhadad and how he said, "let not he that puts on his harness boasts himself as he that puts it off [I Kings 20:11]." We saw a warrior that has fought and already have a result of battle (success at hand) while we saw one that can't yet decide his outcome.

Paul said he has finished his course. It is such that can boast. All of us Christians that have not been called home to be with the Lord are still running the course or race. We are not praying for your backsliding but anything can happen to even a Christian that has been known for fervency. Have we not seen men with burning callings, great evangelists that the dead rose in  their hands that became drunkards in their life low moment. There be many who stumbled through adultery as they run their course. So, no one in this flesh can be regarded as having arrived until he is called home and yet with his clean sheet unstained. These are those that can say whatsoever where they are. These are those we on earth can also pull rank with. They are even our best examples of people that made it. Any one in front of us on earth irrespective of how anointed or esteemed by both God and men he may be still needs very much our prayer. That's why the Bible on one hand says "wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall [ I Corinthians  10:12]. The tendency of falling is there while still in this flesh.

Why? He has not finished his race. He's still running it. If that be, anything can happen.

At Paul's departure, the league he goes to join is what is known as the cloud of many witnesses.

Hebrews 12:1, KJV

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us."

These are those who have warred and have received witnesses to have won. They are out of the struggle. They rather are spectators watching how we're passing through where and what they've passed through. We hope joining them one day.

No one should boast and exceed his measure when he is still in this flesh. The reason is simple. He that puts on his harness shouldn't boast himself as he that puts it off. The exam you have passed is one you can call others to endeavour to pass. If you're still on it and still struggles for prove of success, you're still a journeyman. May you and I excel.

PRAYER: He that keeps one's feet from slipping, hold me. Pray for all Christians and ministers. Pray for backsliders and sinners.

THE BOWELS OF COMPASSION AND HOW TO BE HUMAN

Good day brethren,

This season is a special season. The economy of the country has made it so. Due to this, many are finding it difficult to cope or function to meet their primary needs.

We have received calls and messages from several quarters even outside our ministry as people trusted Jireh to look down on them.

Please, through you also, God can minister to one or two. Don't withhold. Be merciful. If you've been eating your food alone before, this is the season to share it with someone. Bestow kindness and God's generosity to others while bearing in mind that you're only a steward and custodian of God's resources.

Every human being has a thing known as a bowel of compassion. It can be shut at other humans. When such occurs, one goes unconcerned and untouched with the feelings of other people. Their complaints, sorrows, pangs and troubles can't be related with. However, if people makes demands on you and you can understand why and then tear a part of you for them; then you'll have reward of your Father who's in heaven.

I John 3:17, KJV

"But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?"

Personally, I've been hungry many times before and I don't want any to be hungry too. It's not good. Hunger can kill the expression of gift. It can handicaps a whole human being from performing. Your only excuse is if you don't have "this world's goods." If you have money, food etc, please give it out. Let people survive through you.

I'm calling all of us on this platform to give to one, two or any God will bring to cross with our path. As a ministry and a fellow, we have done this and won't withhold to do more.

May God bless and increase what you have at hand so that it can not only keep you alive but ministers to others. For those of you saying like the widow of Zarephath, "you see, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die [I Kings  17:12]. God has a message for you. It won't finish. Rather, God will give you the provision that can accommodate any seeking for space in what you have at hand. So says the Lord today!

WARNING TO THOSE WHO BOAST OF VICTORY BEFORE THE BATTLE

Read I Kings 20:1-20

I Kings  20:11, KJV

"And the king of Israel answered and said, Tell him, Let not him that girdeth on his harness boast himself as he that putteth it off."

One of the confusing statements to many minds in the Bible is this one. What does it means?

Who's he that puts on his harness? This is the warrior that's just getting ready for war. Who's he that puts off his harness? That's he who has just finished battling.

There's a difference between he that has fought a battle and already knows his place and any whose fate in battle has not been decided. If someone puts on his harness or armour and goes to battle, no matter how good a warrior he is, two fates are before him. He either wins or loses. He won't know which would be his outcome until the battle ends. Even if all the parameters of measuring success of wars tends to assure him of victory, he's still like a man whose success is not solely determined by him but also by another. Who don't know therefore that the opponent also even if he's small will not just give up like that. For this reason, war can't be decided to have favoured any until it ends.

Ahab knowing this told Benhadad not to threaten him with war. Benhadad had earlier sent messengers to ask Ahab of his gold, silver, wife, children and precious things. This king seeing he has been besieged obliged. Later on, the uncontentious Benhadad returned to him with another message. That he will send messengers to rummage through his kingdom to pick anything they found precious. Now, he's no longer allowing Ahab the free hand and choice to send whatsoever he deems to give.

This is where Ahab said no. He counselled with the elders and they said he should refuse Benhadad. Having being made strong in this manner, he sent the messenger of Benhadad to him not to boast with certainty as if he had fought the war and had obtained result. His threat should be humble rather.

That's how that statement originates. Who don't know that in life, situations may not go as fathomed. Life is unpredictable and we should always be humble at every time and at every situation. The reason is very simple. Life can defy our expectation. Did the Bible not say, horses are prepared for the day of battle but victory belongs to the Lord [Prov. 21:31]."

If victory is what the Lord gives, then it means there are things you can't guarantee personally because it not only solely relies on you.  You must rely on the graciousness of another to give or donate. If all of us know this, we ought to manifest humility in our speech and in deed. The reason is simple, "he that puts on his armour shouldn't boast like he that's putting it off." A fellow who has claimed victory can boast, celebrate, rejoice and noise his success and claims around but any who's yet to enter battle ought to speak in a measure that shows probability of winning or losing.

Be humble! Don't be drunk in pride. Benhadad with all his boasts eventually lose.

PRAYER: Lord, equip me with humility and foresight. May I speak according to the measure you've given me even if I prophesy. I banish pride and drunkenness.

ANCESTRY

READ Matthew 1:1-17

Matthew 1:17,KJV

"So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations."

Whenever people hear ancestry; evil, ancestral curses and flows that should not be inherited are things their minds shift to. Some have denied their ancestry. They erroneously believe that running far from it is what will make them not be a shareholder in what runs in that line. Your not visiting home or your ancestral land is not what severe the ties between you and your ancestry. That might be on a physical level but on the spiritual and blood level, you're very much with your ancestors. You carry their gene and something peculiar about you is from them.  If blessing or curses work in an ancestry, they'll keep working irrespective of location. They are spiritual forces. Distance doesn't break them.

In today's reading, you'll see a long ancestry from where Jesus was produced. No man falls from heaven. No one just arrives like that. His arrival predates some people and for him to be birthed, he must come through a line. Such man or woman may not be able to account for everything in the past of his ancestry but he should know what sort of men have predated him. That's where his boast or humiliation lies. If you look at Jesus line, Judah impregnated his own daughter in-law to produce children as cunningly devised by Tamar herself. David snatched Bathsheba, wife of Uriah to produce Solomon from whom Rehoboam came that continues the line. This is a call to be careful of not making a wrong history that can be often referred to.  Do you know if a child gets to school, someone can send him home by telling him at confrontation that his ancestors are wives snatchers. That's how people generalize events: both good and bad. The reason for a clean ancestry. You may not be able to write another ancestral history but from where you are, ensure the kind you'll like people to reference is daily lived.

You need to know your ancestry. How do one know his ancestry? By simply asking those who predates you who are still alive about those who are gone and things past. In some places, their family history which includes family tree etc are well documented down for generations to come to know of their root. In some other places, they're only communicated orally. Either will do. However, you may need to pray too. It is what people know they'll tell you. What of those they don't know because those it happened to didn't disclose. Even you as you are, you have secrets which another or many people don't know of. There's nothing as rejoicing the heart however as to know what sort of stock you're from. If you don't know your ancestry, you won't know where to stop the curses and start the blessing. If you're blessed, you won't carry the conscious knowing of being blessed at heart which assures you of being blessed even in the desert. You can even be called another fellow and agrees to such in ignorance.

May I tell you that what is aiding some or bringing some down is simply their ancestry. Some ancestries are just blessings to some people while it's a curse to others. Consider the family of former president Kennedy of United States. There's no time something evil don't happen to a member of that family. Kennedy himself was assassinated. If you take this family and put it beside the Jonathan Edwards family, you'll then see a blessed family.

Only unserious people who wants to be manipulated by what has been in the beginning of their ancestries which they don't know are those who will close their eyes to learning about their family history. People nowadays don't want to learn history. They'll say it's irrelevant to the modern man. Even the Bible has its Genesis and even the New Testament refers to that beginning. God also covers time. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. No one is on his own. You are tied to your ancestors and they're tied to you.

From Abraham to David was fourteen generations. From David to the carrying away into slavery was another fourteen generations and from this carrying away to Jesus is another fourteen generations. If you calculate together, that's fourty-two generations to Christ. Imagine the numerous activities that had happened in each generation. You know some of those characters that predates Jesus. If you pull how they lived together, that will amount into a heap of information. Then, you'll see that life moves in circles and at times circles must be broken for a new life to be lived.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to create a better history than my ancestors. I eat the good fruit and not the sour of my ancestry.

WHAT DID HE PREACH?

Jonah 3:4,KJV

"And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown."

You know more than ten times, I was asking myself “what did he preach?” I was wondering at the outcome Jonah generated from his message of “yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown” and how the Ninevites responded with a great responding. It doesn’t tally at all. From the A-Z of Nineveh, it was the same proclamation Jonah made. He was just shouting “yet forty days…” I wouldn’t believe that will turn a thing but it did. No special rhema or the tracing of the root of words.

I’m just baffled at what sort of result that was without dividing the scriptures. He was just proclaiming and yet commanded the attention and obedience of all. After his proclamation, nobody in Nineveh could sit comfortably again. They were moved into immediate action and sought God in fasting with  animals seeking repentance. Who does that? Could it be the high pitch of Jonah’s voice that day that gave him such harvest?

I found out it was the God given message he preached. That’s what it means to preach under the anointing. Jonah was obedient to preach the message he was given to preach. He preached the message that God had fetched upon investigation (conducting a search on what the need of the people was) knowing it will command the obedience of the Ninevites. Indeed, it was like magic that day. Believe it, I learnt that when we co-labour with God, He does much of the task and leaves us with little burden to bear. Do you know that it was only Jonah’s voice that was employed and his mobility to move from one place to the other? The main tool by which the people began to shiver was not his. It was given him. So, when a man is given a download from heaven, that is the message, song or prayer point that can address issues and change things. If we want to labour less in the public, we will have to first gather this tangibility in the chamber. When God gave Jonah his message, no Ninevite was there but when he preached his message, they knew they heard a sermon and it reached all. Whether he was heard in person or reported by a Ninevite to another, they were just being convicted and catching the fire of revival. When I have just preached or taught under the anointing, I know. There will be unusual boldness and I will have the right words to describe even the minute details. I will so much express myself that I will be satisfied and will have no interest or much in that teaching I have done again. I will sense the satisfaction of exhausting that sermon or part of the scripture I have taught it from. I will want to move on to discover another thing and hear God anew. Also, when I’m struggling to preach, I know. It will just be like irons that are having difficulty rolling well due to friction. It will need grease you know.

It is a message that God has given a man that will lead to utterance. If God punishes a man with utterance, he will just try ministering and find out that ministration isn’t coming. Meanwhile, if God should loosen his tongue and give him acceptable words to communicate divine intention, he will hit where he needs to hit in people’s lives. He will puncture the right side that will lead to confession, repentance, creation of solutions and dividing of paths etc.

It is not good doing guess work. When you have God’s word with you, you know where to focus it to because the word itself is given with a focus to attack or concentrate on something. What will turn things and bring about change are sermons, songs and ideas that are sparked and birthed from the womb of the Holy Ghost. If they are not received, they will only deceive the hearers. If they are given, you will see your labour not equalizing your outcome. You will ask yourself “but I didn’t preach long, what did I do then?” May we receive  the impartation that will make us make impact.

PRAYER: Lord, I submit to You, fetch me words, sponsor me and let me minister by Your Spirit.

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - Olusola ADEJUMO

LORD, I WANT TO HAVE THIS TESTIMONY

Genesis 22:14, KJV

"And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, IN THE MOUNT OF THE LORD IT SHALL BE SEEN."

What testimony? God requested of Abraham, Isaac (his only son) who ought to remain a consolation to him. Abraham obeyed God and off to Moriah he went.

Where we agree obedience at heart precedes our action is where God agreed Abraham had slain Isaac already though was about acting it out. You might have obeyed God on a thing but because people haven't seen your body act it, they may call you disobedient or a rebel. God won't mistake you for another. God sees obedience in the heart even before its physical and open manifestation. Men however don't until their naked eyes can bear them witness.

Abraham was about killing Isaac when a voice stopped him from above. God sees he has released what he cherished most and has not preferred Isaac over Him. God has given Abraham a clear instruction that he can't pretend he didn't hear because it was a painful one. For some Christians, when God communicates easy things, they hear but when they hear hard instructions, they pretend it was not God they heard. They'll rather want to hear and hear until the idol in their heart is given them as instruction or direction. Such people will fall into trouble at day's end.

What did the voice from above say as Abraham picks the knife?

Genesis 22:12-13, KJV

"12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son."

God testified Abraham fears him because he has not withheld Isaac from Him. Pay attention to God's emphasis on "thy only son." Giving is easier when one does from his abundance. A possessor of one thing will want to retain it. But Abraham still sacrificed his only begotten Isaac. That's hard. It was after this something significant happened as if it was not a reality. God gave Abraham a ram. A ram from nowhere. At a very tight corner when we thought all hope was lost for Abraham and that Isaac was forever gone, Isaac made a come back. He reentered the ring! We had thought, Isaac is dead but a kind of substitution happened. An image of Christ substituting us in His death. The testimony is "on the mount of the Lord, there shall be provision." If where Abraham didn't think of, a miracle bursts forth from there, where you never think of or had only thought less of, miracle will come from there. At a time when your hands are shivering and you're asking, "is the show ending now and forever indeed", you'll receive a return into performance. You'll continue. You'll persist.

To you who is in dire need of provision, miracle or an expectation, you'll see your answer show up. Wherever your ram is, let it appear. A spouse can be a ram. You've been expecting a show up of him/her for long yet without appearance. I'm hearing, "on God's mount, it shall be seen." What you're seeking shall be found.

That ram just appeared. Abraham didn't call for it but divine provision made it available. Your provision also, ready made will appear in Jesus' name.

PRAYER: Is a spouse, money, promotion, healing etc your own ram? Ask and it shall appear. Lord, let me always make a comeback.

THE WORDS OF WHOSE MOUTH

Job 23:12,KJV

"Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food."

Whose words do you esteem? Imagine a pupil whose friend keeps asking 'will your dad buy the toy for you as he promised?.' That's a question challenging the father's integrity. The boy must have known his father well enough to be persuaded of his father's promise. The word and food are struggling to have the attention of people also. Food has gained many because it comes to us naturally. Hunger reminds us of eating. Not eating reminds us of health failure and death. Meanwhile, we fail to see the many dangers that lack of words from God's mouth can bring. Greater havoc! Many have given their allegiance to what they put in their mouth thinking that real survival comes from it.

Many, many people rank food as being important over instructions from God's mouth. You can't do without eating in a day. Shouldn't you also live with instructions from God per day? Stop deceiving yourself and face reality. When food is graded above what God would have said, you'll soon be in danger. Do you know there are business men who will eat and take all sort of drinks in the morning before going to work who don't see it more necessary to enquire and secure words from God's mouth concerning their businesses and lives? Yet, this same people do not have a prophet watching their back. Not long, his investment collapses and he experiences a quick down trend for having not received words from God's mouth. Survival is on food but real survival is on the words that stems forth from God's mouth to you.

People strengthen themselves with physical food and jettison strengthening every facet of their lives with what God will have to say. Real and cooperate danger! You see, God has more than enough to say to you. Your not coming at all is what barricades this free flow of privilege information. Motor accidents, plane crash, building collapse, stock collapse etc would still happen but words that you have waited on God to receive early in the morning or at afore times will save you from such. Even, if you're given a prophecy and you're the kind that despises and mock divine things, you'll still have fallen victim of what the prophecy had predicted. Mind you, receiving words for your life and others you're responsible for must be on daily basis. That's the key to your continuous survival on this earth. That's why the word was said to be steady and uninterrupted.

Matthew 4:4

"...it takes more than bread to stay alive. It takes a steady stream of words from God's mouth." MSG

It must be continuous word. Why it should also be ever progressive word is because we receive and are given physical meat daily. We thrive on that right?

Luke 11:3

"Give us each day the food we need" NLT

Each day means daily. This is the principle of continual existence on the face of the earth. Even, gods and goddesses' worshippers rank communications and directions from their deity first of all. The priest daily consults his oracle too. He knows today will be different from yesterday and tomorrow from today. Shouldn't we therefore learn this wisdom better seeing it is written clearly in bold prints for us. Life is filled with uncertainties and unforseen contingencies which makes our daily receiving more important. Don't negotiate this today. Start a relationship with God by becoming born again and qualifying for notices.

PRAYER: May I not negotiate intimacy with you. Teach me waiting and receiving. Hint me of future occurrences. I won't fall victim of evils to come.

EVEN WHEN HEAVEN AND EARTH PASS AWAY

Matthew 5:18, KJV

"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

Nothing as promise or prophecy will tarry and be held back from being fulfilled in God's Word. Until all is fulfilled, heaven and earth: this one we're in can't end. So, if you find any promise in the Bible that's claimable or that awaits fulfilment, you can take it to God to fulfill it in your life.

You will be helping rapture to come faster if all these promises and prophecies are fulfilled on time. That's how to hasten Jesus coming apart from preaching the message of the kingdom to the ends of the earth.

Just like heaven and earth would pass away but not a jot or title of the law would pass without being fulfilled, so also, many things can happen against you yet all will eventually be to the fulfilment of God's promise to the least item that God has predestined you fulfill here on earth.

Who am I sent to? Heaven and earth may pass away but one thing stands, endures and is unshaken. You will fulfill all despite contention, rivalry or the struggle.

Psalms 46:2-3, KJV

"2Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;  3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof."

If a mountain that's firmly planted on earth should suddenly relocate and be planted in the sea, you should know that's disorderliness. A disordered world is what's playing out. So also, when heaven and earth passes away (that looks like a kind of disorder of the cosmos system). Despite that, God's Word won't fail.

Let there be roarings, threatenings, delays etc against you. Yet, you'll fulfill all to the latter. Not that heaven and earth won't pass away. They will but the Word of God or the law is not minding them. It must come to pass despite their own sureness to come to an end.

Let the sea roars. Let all sorts of experiences come your way. One thing is sure, you'll accomplish all. So shall it be.

PRAYER: Lord, in the midst of roaring contrariness, I fulfill all to the latter.

ONE THING THAT'S SURE WHEN OTHERS PASS AWAY

READ Hebrews 11

Matthew 5:18, KJV

"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

Look, whatsoever wants to happen, let it happen. We have an anchor that holds the soul. If the devil wants to rage like a storm, his raging can't stop what has been fixed for you to happen.

I heard in my Spirit, "heaven and earth shall pass away, but nothing the Lord has planned for you: which He has told you of or which you're yet to know of shall go away unfulfilled."

Many times, we may get to a juncture where we ask if we will ever amount or become in this one life. We may be pressing and sowing good labour of righteousness, believing if one do not yield, the other would do. That's not bad. He that won't work shouldn't eat as the Bible admonishes. However, we can get to a place where despite all these, we wonder if we're really progressing. We may ask, "Am I spending my life well at all." Is there satisfaction here for me? All these questions bothers on purpose and destiny.

May I tell you that your worrying can't change anything. Men of old received their report by faith. That's why the Bible says, "by faith, the elders receive good report." It is not by worrying or weeping things are possessed.

By faith, some receive their dead back. Abel though dead was still speaking. By faith, Abraham though dead in body was still made alive. Mouths of lions were shut by faith and some escaped the edge of the sword by faith. You then wonder and say, "just too many by faith." Don't let your faith droop down. It's a shield that mustn't fall below. Let it stand firm. Keep believing for that great future and you shall possess it.

Your consolation is this. The least of what God has destined for you can't pass away. If an iota of the law written would not pass away unless it is fulfilled, I am persuaded all written for you shall be fulfilled also.

You will wear everything out. Some of us are very concern and covetous Christians. Covetousness here isn't sin nor bad. We rather covet that all God has written for us should come to pass. We want to release albums and be known for music, be a renown preacher, control politics of nations, be relevant in the academics, be known to the going down of the sun etc. God is saying, "the myriads of all these things won't go without being fulfilled." God takes note of things a lot. He doesn't forget even the smallest of things. That's why that place says, "not a jot or tittle" shall pass away. Do you know what a jot is? Pick a pen and make a dot somewhere. That dot is a jot. Did you see how small it is? If a jot of what's written in God's Word won't pass away without being fulfilled as God had promised. It means the least and most little of your dreams shall be fulfilled.

God will so much help you to the extent that you'll fulfill all. Just to the latter. Completely, wholly without leaving one behind. It's like eating in a dish and not even leaving any remnant behind. Everything shall be licked up totally. You'll live all your dreams. You won't owe destiny.

DEVIL DOESN'T FIGHT OVER SPILLED MILK

I Kings 3:23,KJV

"Then said the king, The one saith, This is my son that liveth, and thy son is the dead: and the other saith, Nay; but thy son is the dead, and my son is the living."

Welcome all users. It's time to wing today's revelation to you. Get ready to trap and soak it into your spirit.

One thing the devil runs after is that which still breathes. As long as it still has the breath of life, then it will qualify for Satan's attention. Meanwhile, if it is dead, stinking and rotten, such is generously ignored by the devil.

The devil doesn't waste time on oranges that has no water in it nor glorified with sweetness of fluid. He doesn't throw sticks at such oranges. Meanwhile, if need be, he could spend years; years over years to reach and pluck down that singular orange that's the delight of God.

What were these prostitutes fighting for in this passage? A child right? Which of the child? Dead or living?

The devil isn't after what is spoilt or ruined. He's actually after that drum which still sounds well when beaten with sticks. The plan of satan is to tear that drum also. The devil doesn't want it give joy to anyone nor produce rhythmical sounds that's danceable. The devil is in outright and very serious flight after all the living children.

Here are two prostitutes at the king's court. Each of them were shouting two different things. Their poems didn't rhyme at all. It was cacophony of noises that day and the king would have shouted on them if not for toleration sake. One appealed "my lord, we both stay in the same room. We both had children. This one slept on hers and while I was sound asleep exchanged her dead son with my living son" which is why we are here. The other also responded "noo, what a liar you are! Yours is the dead child while mine is the living child." If that child were to be with defect or he's physically challenged, none would have fought that hard to have him. They fought over this child because he was still alive, breathing and in good health condition. Who doesn't want that which is good? Have you seen people fight over a man or woman who's insane before? That won't be anybody's prince or princess. If you're observant, you'll see that the dead child didn't receive any attention. None of the woman even brought him to the court. It was only the living child that a debate was on and he was therefore presented for settlement. Who opens a book and turns to the chapter of dead children? They're not fit for the earth again but the worms who await them.

Look at the devil fighting over what is not his. Look at the devil wanting to get the living child. Look at the devil pursuing a man with the call of God on his head. Not long ago, I began to flashback and  look at how much attacks have been unleashed on me and how much the devil want me forfeit ministry and forget it. The devil want to bury my voice while still alive. He wants to make me living dead which is the same plan he has for other anointed ministers. Whenever the door of ministry opens, it's as if the door of temptations opens with it. The devil in his brutality and full use of weaponry is running after all the living children. He knows case is closed over all dead children. He knows a minister that has been buried whose funeral has been concluded is completely useless against him. He knows he can't threaten him. He knows a dead baby can't cry any longer. He knows a sound from him if he makes any at all can't wake up anyone. If he does, that's by resurrection which only the Messiah: the Resurrection and the Life can perform Himself. However, the living child has a terrible cry. It cries always because it's living and has Araulah (God's breath) in me. He knows unless his burial ceremony is performed, he'll continue to disturb him. That's why the devil took the living child by night and even followed it to the court of king Solomon to see its end. The devil has great plans. Don't think they're sweet. He wants to make concerted effort to see that the living child becomes dead. What was the other prostitutes' response when the king said the baby should be cut into two and given to each of the prostitutes?

I Kings  3:26,KJV

"Then spake the woman whose the living child was unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, O my lord, give her the living child, and in no wise slay it. But the other said, Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it."

God wants the living child to live on. The devil want it gasp for air until life drops out of his body. The devil want him substituted in ministry. The devil want his assignment truncated. That's the devil for you. He wants him take offence and be bitter; becoming selfish and engrossed in himself, still thinking he's right and very right. He is on his heels whistling after all living children. If you're alive, he's after you. If you've just been resurrected and restored, he won't suffer you to be alone. You must even be careful because you've been his client once upon a time.

Now, listen to my decrees which are God's decrees. May all living children escape and survive the attacks and the claims of Satan over them.

May the devil misses target over them. May they not allow sin as to open him a door to enter. May all who have fallen bounce back in astounding resurrection. May there be a great surge, quickening and movement as it was in the valley of dry bones. Dry bones...rise! Living ones... live on!

God's decrees!

PRAYER: God of all flesh, give me your whole armour to survive in battles. Lord, give me an intercessor in the secret place and an advocate at the court.

WHEN THE LORD HAS NEED OF YOU

READ Mark 11:1-10

Mark 11:3,KJV

"And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither."

I want you to see that you'll be doing yourself a great favour if the Lord beckons on you and you hear. Men can call you but with a big no at hand for them. If the Lord does, I'll say, drop that which you have in your hands and follow.

Jesus sent the disciples to go to a place and bring a colt tied on which no man has ever ridden. What a virgin it was! He, knowing they might be questioned gave them words to say. It wasn't that Jesus had afore preplanned with the colt's owner. The beat which He believes would communicate to such, "the Lord has need of it" was therefore given to the disciples. That's the currency with which they went on that journey.

The Lord has need of it? Yes. That's His demand. If it is, let's give Him. You should be humble to learn from today's teaching. Those they met didn't delay them after they said the Lord has need of it. They immediately let them go with it.

May you for another or any with something for you let go at hearing God's voice. May God persuade them. What the Lord has need of is what He can't but get. That's how it should be though we have known some for their obstinacy and disagreement even in the face of the Lord has need of it. These are of the set that won't let go. These are of the set that their possessions are too heavy for them to part with. These are those who disdain God and do not esteem Him in act but can confess Him as Lord till tomorrow. For no one esteems God really that doesn't do so when sacrificial demands are made on him. Pharaoh won't let Israel go but Israel had to still go. God will do it.

The Lord has need of it! In the Yoruba culture of the Nigerian people, their ancient monarchs are known for exercising absolute authority. This authority was so far reaching that the king could see a young virgin and say, "she pleases me well. I'll have her for wife." All can't but agree even if they're not well pleased. It is the king. It is royalty that has made demand on them. It is not a man of mere presence. They'll even be honoured becoming in-law to the king though he's one with many wives already. Yet, there's honour, wealth and delight there. How much more you as a child of God? There should be nothing in God's will you stretch at without obtaining. It is the Lord that has need of it. It doesn't matter how costly it is, it's obtainable. If men would by cringing or feigning heed these kings, how much more the Royalty that gives royalty to royalty? We should see and fear. Jordan saw and fled. You must be touched also. The Lord has come. If He tells you I need you for this or that purpose, let go. Don't struggle with God. He only wants to bring you to a great estate. When the Lord told Peter to lend him His boat which he did, the Lord rewarded him with the catch he had never caught before. Afterwards, the Lord made a final demand on him by saying, "follow me and I'll make you fishers of men." You can tell whether after Peter's heeding of this call he wasted away or grew in relevance.

Is there any God has been saying, "I have need of you to there but who's withholding?" Are there parents there who are withholding their children from their God's will for marriage? Those words have not changed. It is still, "the Lord has need of them." You should hear, be touched and submit. Come to the acknowledgement that it is the Lord and not the disciples you're seeing in their irrelevance who came to make the tender.

I pray that like a man lacking strong will, you'll follow God just like that once this demand comes. May God persuade any that's contending on making a release somewhere. May you not be hindered from the future you could have featured in with this man or woman likened unto Jesus. That colt later was honoured just like Jesus. People were spreading clothes and branches on the ground for it to pass. You can't go with a special demand on you and not be made special on the road of that demand. You, give it a try.

PRAYER: Lord, I submit to your demand over me. Nothing I possess will be held back from Your service. All that's mine is Yours and Yours first of all.

RESISTING THE DEVIL BUT DOING SO FIRMLY IN THE FAITH

James 4:7, KJV

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. RESIST THE DEVIL, AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU."

"Resist the devil", the Bible says. The consequence of resisting him is only one: He'll FLEE FROM you not FLEE TO you or your embrace.

Don't accommodate. Stop accommodating but rather refrain him firm in your faith. Stamp your feet on the ground and say "no" to him.

The devil is actually a coward and a cheat. However, he'll try you. He'll come around into your parlour and see if you'll say, "welcome or otherwise". How do people say welcome? By giving the devil a foothold. By intentionally giving space and allowance to temptation. By not rejecting attacks and things going contrary to what God has expressly said, given freely and had promised in His Word. They rather take it for God's will or act which may not be.

But once you take action by becoming furious... He'll flee - not to you but FROM you.

You're actually a commander and there's only one thing soldiers hears: commands. Once you say, "no" to the devil, he'll shift off your space.

While some ought to resist, they're tolerating, permitting, granting and cohabiting with the devil. ...and the devil is not careless taking such advantage as leverage. If you give the devil a ride in your car, don't think he'll quietly sit down and watch you drive. No! He's never contented but hungers to spread. His goal is to kick you out and take over the steering wheel. He wants to have an established kingdom which no one can contest with him but which is firmly, solely and wholly concentrated in his hands. But God has called all Christians to debate gaining of controls or full controls with the devil. So, you're a debater! He is already in the world as the prince of this world but we can debate him from entering, mastering or collecting our own domain which we have carved out as a conducive atmosphere for Christ: where Christ must be glorified and reign in continually.

So, don't give the devil any foothold that can graduate into a stronghold. As soon as you begin to notice misbehaviour in your children, lack of submission in your wife, lack of understanding and end of love in your husband and sluggishness in your life/business or career, bring out the assault rifle of prayer and fire the devil.

The word "resist" depicts a struggle. A thing you're resisting doesn't fold its hands also but tries to push you back even as you try shifting him off your own ground. The picture of wrestling and two wrestlers resisting each other is immediately pictured. The devil like a boxer might want to stand tall to you in the ring of life but another issuance says, WHOM YOU SHOULD RESIST FIRM IN THE FAITH.

I Peter 5:9, KJV

"Whom RESIST STEDFAST IN THE FAITH, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world."

"Firm or steadfast" suggests not wavering but persistence in resisting until the devil is resisted and flees. The devil at your first saying of "get behind me" might not heed you. Do you know why? His thinking is that you're probably doing guess work on whether he (Satan) is involved in your activities or not. Your persistence in resisting is what would clearly prove to him that, "come here O boy, this fellow has seen me o." Only then will he hurriedly pack off your property and go off from touching what is yours. So, be sure the devil is around indeed. That's what would concretize your resisting firmly. Right knowledge produces right acts.

You're born again and so can resist him. So, who will resist the devil with me today? Wherever you may be, take a minute to say, speak or pray something to resist, refrain, rebuke and disallow the devil.

PRAYER: Lord, forgive my rebellion to You. I rebuke the devil's activities in my life, family, business, ministry etc. No in road for you.

SPONTANEOUS TEACHING

ABUNDANCE AND HOW TO USE IT DISGRACE FAMINE

There's no one that God won't do for. How you use your blessing is however the matter that matters. Two prostitutes that Solomon divided between had a child each. One slept on hers. The other kept hers alive. Later in time, the bereaved mother envied the blessed one. The choice resides with you to retain or exhaust your blessings. What do you say to that?

There are those that exhaust their own at God's visitation and the turning of the season to their favour. Like the prodigal son, they'll jump for joy and be lost in the euphoria of having possessed it. They'll therefore begin to take journeys to places, even new places for adventure and a feel of heaven on earth under the disguise that they only have one life to live. If you have only a life to live, you ought to preserve it and not spread it vulnerably. You however have a predecessor.

When the prodigal son  also possessed it, he tied all together and took a journey to a far country. A place where no one would know him. A place where he could chop life without suspicion or doubt of being watched by familiar eyes. There, he spent all until he began to be in want. Season is seasonal you know! When you're in your season of abundance, don't blow it up. The tendency that famine will visit is high.

What you must know is that famine do follow abundance. It did in Egypt but they escaped it through a Joseph's wisdom. It was so thorough as predicted that they forgot they once had abundance.

Genesis 41:29-30,KJV

"29 Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt: 30 And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land."

After abundance, famine often do come to check your preparation and wisdom level. So that you won't repeat the experience of the prodigal son, always keep a remnant. It was after this spendthrift had exhausted all that famine peeped out to put in his mouth 'O God!'

Luke 13-14, KJV

"13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. 14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want."

Did you see that? Famine don't visit when abundance is at hand. It comes after, just like regret follows after an act. After exhausting all, it then came on him like dew falling upon Mount Hermon. Look, if you're in the season of abundance now, God wants you take caution and be serious with savings and investment. If you have a job, receives allowances from somewhere or comfortable financially; your thought should be how to establish yourself against the days of dearth. It will come. The wise will hear and become wiser. The simple will hear and take action. However, before it springs up, I tell you of it.

MORNING WINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE - Olusola ADEJUMO

WHOSE TESTIMONY IS THIS?

Mark 4:37-39

Isaiah 40:2, KJV

"Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD's hand double for all her sins."

When you warfare is accomplished, struggle comes to a halt. It is good to know peace. No matter how great a warrior you are, you have tendency getting wearied if you continue warfare without rest. You'll become drained, spent and then you can become a victim to your opponent. A perfect example of someone whose warfare spanned for long was David. Saul pursued him, family rivalry from his own issue pursued him. Yet, he had to fight many wars also. His hands were just so full of blood. Solomon however knew peace all around himself.

I Kings 5:3-4,KJV

"3 Thou knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the LORD his God for the wars which were about him on every side, until the LORD put them under the soles of his feet. 4 But now the LORD my God hath given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent."

May you know peace. You, know peace. Be better than your predecessors in experience.

When someone's warfare is accomplished, it actually means that his war or what's like unto war in his life is settled, brought to an end or concluded.

In the reading of today, Jesus and his disciples were in the ship. He was asleep. A storm arose and the disciples were at a peril. The storm that arose was a raging storm. The kind that drifts the ship here and there and one that can easily fill the ship with water. To sink won't take time because water was entering the ship already. All they knew as fishermen to stabilize the ship didn't do. The struggle on the sea was a warfare against the raging storm. It was then they cried unto Jesus with a voice, "don't you care that we perish?" That is, they could have perished if nobody came to their help. However, Jesus did, rebuked the storm and it stopped. So, their warfare in trying to stabilize the ship on the sea came to an end. The anxiety and fear ended.  Instead of raging of the sea, they now know peace.

Look, may your warfare be accomplished. When it is, you'll have a taste of another season. You'll be transplanted from one experience where all you have tasted is unrest to another where there's tranquility. Do you think it's a blessing praying, praying, praying to have a breakthrough in an area without it coming on time. It is even worrisome if there are spirits or humans the devil is working through to hinder such.

I pray, your warfare will be accomplished. At this hour, you'll no longer reminisce about former things because new things the Lord is doing and He announces them before it springs forth. It shall be double for your trouble, sin and joy you shall know throughout.

PRAYER: Lord, let my warfare be accomplished. (Mention the area). I receive double for my trouble and delight of days for the years I've been troubled.

WILL YOU BE FOUND INNOCENT? - Side C

Read Daniel 6

Daniel 6:22, KJV

"My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt."

This was Daniel speaking to King Darius from the den of lions he was thrown into. This event was not fiction but a real happening.

Daniel, because of the excellent spirit in him was set over others and was thought to be set over the kingdom too. This was after his being promoted and ranked above all presidents and other officials. This is where hatred and envy towards him came from. Others wouldn't want that. They must have asked, "how can a non indigene arrive here and seek to substitute us?" In the bid to eliminate Daniel, they requested the king to sign that no man shall request a thing of any God or any person except Darius himself for thirty days. The king having seen the sought of estimation that would bring him did same without wondering why. It was his pride to be treated as God that really brought him the unhappiness he had in relation to Daniel's conspiracy later.

Daniel, having known this has been signed into law went to his house and prayed three times a day like he would do. Obviously, these conspirators were watching. It wasn't long they found Daniel going against the decree and requested the king to enforce the  consequence on him. It was now the king knew why they had came for the decree to be signed initially. He tried to save Daniel but all was to no avail as these conspirators held him to his words and the laws of the Medes and Persians which changed not.

Daniel was therefore thrown into the den as a last resort with a prayer from the king that his God whom he serves continually would save him. The king who had him at heart but has been manipulated and outsmarted by his conspirators couldn't sleep nor revile in the joys of kings. He rather fasted for Daniel and was up the next morning to see if Daniel was still alive or not.

He asked:

Daniel 6:20, KJV

"And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?"

Daniel in response had said, "God had sent his angels to shut the lions mouth because He has found me innocent before Himself [God] and before you, the king."

This is how the righteousness of Daniel saved him. It wasn't long when those who dug the pit for Daniel to fall into were thrown into the same den of lions. That's how their evil returned on their heads. God is for the righteous and He seeks his deliverance. Nothing interests God to see that you are of a pure heart and clean hands. As far as Daniel was concerned, it was envy and hatred that stirred his being conspired against. It was not that Daniel seek intentionally to disobey the king. He was an obedient and faithful steward that both God and the king knew to be upright in all. The reason for Daniel's deliverance was simple, "he was innocent and found blameless when inspected or searched by God."

This is a call to give God boldness and eagerness to vindicate you in trouble by having not done as said by all mouths that may rise at you. God is near to you even when persecuted or conspired against. As long as you're not guilty nor anything of the enemy found in you at inspection, you can always trust to triumph over evil.

PRAYER: Lord, when I'm searched, may I be found blameless at Your sight. I'm acquitted. All accusing tongues are judged and condemned.
