SPONTANEOUS TEACHING

ABUNDANCE AND HOW TO USE IT DISGRACE FAMINE

There's no one that God won't do for. How you use your blessing is however the matter that matters. Two prostitutes that Solomon divided between had a child each. One slept on hers. The other kept hers alive. Later in time, the bereaved mother envied the blessed one. The choice resides with you to retain or exhaust your blessings. What do you say to that?

There are those that exhaust their own at God's visitation and the turning of the season to their favour. Like the prodigal son, they'll jump for joy and be lost in the euphoria of having possessed it. They'll therefore begin to take journeys to places, even new places for adventure and a feel of heaven on earth under the disguise that they only have one life to live. If you have only a life to live, you ought to preserve it and not spread it vulnerably. You however have a predecessor.

When the prodigal son  also possessed it, he tied all together and took a journey to a far country. A place where no one would know him. A place where he could chop life without suspicion or doubt of being watched by familiar eyes. There, he spent all until he began to be in want. Season is seasonal you know! When you're in your season of abundance, don't blow it up. The tendency that famine will visit is high.

What you must know is that famine do follow abundance. It did in Egypt but they escaped it through a Joseph's wisdom. It was so thorough as predicted that they forgot they once had abundance.

Genesis 41:29-30,KJV

"29 Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt: 30 And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land."

After abundance, famine often do come to check your preparation and wisdom level. So that you won't repeat the experience of the prodigal son, always keep a remnant. It was after this spendthrift had exhausted all that famine peeped out to put in his mouth 'O God!'

Luke 13-14, KJV

"13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. 14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want."

Did you see that? Famine don't visit when abundance is at hand. It comes after, just like regret follows after an act. After exhausting all, it then came on him like dew falling upon Mount Hermon. Look, if you're in the season of abundance now, God wants you take caution and be serious with savings and investment. If you have a job, receives allowances from somewhere or comfortable financially; your thought should be how to establish yourself against the days of dearth. It will come. The wise will hear and become wiser. The simple will hear and take action. However, before it springs up, I tell you of it.
