LIFE STOPS AT MURDERING!

 ARE YOU READY FOR MURDER?

"Whatsoever you desire to murder, don't feed". This law is what sees to growth and existence of all living things. 

Once nutrition stops, death begins to step in. It only takes a little while before you see decay and decomposition take place. 

If you plant a tree without watering, it dies.  If you sniff and strip a relationship of communication, it falls down and die. Whether it would walk a short or long distance before it eventually collapses obviously for all to see is not what matters. 

What matters is to "stop feeding" and see if the other side won't step in sooner or later. Is there a past in your life that you wanna let low? Stop strengthening it by putting spoons in its mouth.

Look, even to backslide isn't farfetched. Stop nutrition. Shut voices of correction: of people, your conscience/ the Holy Spirit, of God's Word out and see if you won't become a bygone.

Friends, nutrition is a necessity. We must exercise ourselves in it either to propagate what we desire to see or starve to stampede undesirables. 

However, it is in Him we live, move and have our being [Acts 17:28]. Don't let it change but keep associating with Intimacy Himself and continue to take in.

I see you become fat until you become a tree of the Lord full of sap!

WARNING TO BOASTERS OF VICTORY BEFORE THE BATTLE

Read I Kings 20:1-20

I Kings  20:11, KJV

"And the king of Israel answered and said, Tell him, Let not him that girdeth on his harness boast himself as he that putteth it off."

One of the confusing statements to many minds in the Bible is this one. What does it means?

Who's he that puts on his harness? This is the warrior that's just getting ready for war. Who's he that puts off his harness? That's he who has just finished battling.

There's a difference between he that has fought a battle and already knows his place and any whose fate in battle has not been decided. If someone puts on his harness or armour and goes to battle, no matter how good a warrior he is, two fates are before him. He either wins or loses. He won't know which would be his outcome until the battle ends. Even if all the parameters of measuring success of wars tends to assure him of victory, he's still like a man whose success is not solely determined by him but also by another. Who don't know therefore that the opponent also even if he's small will not just give up like that. For this reason, war can't be decided to have favoured any until it ends. 

Ahab knowing this told Benhadad not to threaten him with war. Benhadad had earlier sent messengers to ask Ahab of his gold, silver, wife, children and precious things. This king seeing he has been besieged obliged. Later on, the uncontentious Benhadad returned to him with another message. That he will send messengers to rummage through his kingdom to pick anything they found precious. Now, he's no longer allowing Ahab the free hand and choice to send whatsoever he deems to give.

This is where Ahab said no. He counselled with the elders and they said he should refuse Benhadad. Having being made strong in this manner, he sent the messenger of Benhadad to him not to boast with certainty as if he had fought the war and had obtained result. His threat should be humble rather. 

That's how that statement originates. Who don't know that in life, situations may not go as fathomed. Life is unpredictable and we should always be humble at every time and at every situation. The reason is very simple. Life can defy our expectation. Did the Bible not say, horses are prepared for the day of battle but victory belongs to the Lord [Prov. 21:31]."

If victory is what the Lord gives, then it means there are things you can't guarantee personally because it not only solely relies on you.  You must rely on the graciousness of another to give or donate. If all of us know this, we ought to manifest humility in our speech and in deed. The reason is simple, "he that puts on his armour shouldn't boast like he that's putting it off." A fellow who has claimed victory can boast, celebrate, rejoice and noise his success and claims around but any who's yet to enter battle ought to speak in a measure that shows probability of winning or losing.

Be humble! Don't be drunk in pride. Benhadad with all his boasts eventually lose. 

PRAYER: Lord, equip me with humility and foresight. May I speak according to the measure you've given me even if I prophesy. I banish pride and drunkenness.

RECEIVING AT THE STIRRING

Read John 5:1-9

John 5:3-4, KJV

"3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had."

May we not be left alone to ourselves and devices. May divinity always join with us at all times and greatly when ministration is sought after.

What can you do unless there's a stirring? The water itself won't move. The congregation will just be still with nothing to jump for joy for. In these Solomon porches were laid many impotent folks. When there is no activity, everybody sits down quietly only in expectation of what can bring activity. There's only one thing that does that. It is the stirring of the water. Until that move of God, you won't see the craving of these invalids to get healed. No one will make an attempt to be healed.

With the description in our reading, we know what becomes consequent at the stirring of the water. The impotents rush into the water seeking healing of whatsoever diseases they have. You see, there can't be movement, race or competition to outrun another unless an angel has stirred the water and is visible to each that the water has been stirred. 

The stirred water is off course an empowered water with healing virtue residual in it. Afore then, it lacks power to turn anything. Does that tells you that natural can't become supernatural until super joins it. That 'super', God is the custodian. Such armed water is what they rush to meet and interact with.

Is this not how you should be taught to receive from God's anointed men? At times, when a minister prays or makes declarations, the congregation or those lacking in estimation treats it as casual. They just stand still. No rushing to the altar. No standing up to receive. No lifting of hand or showing off in a posture that only faith and hunger drives. Lack of faith at every ministration is why ministration is being wasted. It's not that God has not been showing up. If there's a provision made ready for you but which you don't partake of, will it benefit you? If when the water was stirred, nobody gets into it, will the first man on contact be healed? Did you see why people have taken God as a liar and His anointed men as scammers. However, that was not the attitude of those at this pool's side. A stirring of the water draws all of them towards the pool. They will immediately seek to tap, touch and key into it for their healing. They know once this move of God is exhausted or bypassed me, I'll have to wait till a season I can't predict. Even if that season comes on, who knows if it's not another that would be the beneficiary of the stirred water?

I'm perceiving by God's Spirit to tell you that when proclamations are made by any anointed, it is your responsibility to say, "Amen. I receive it." What you esteem will show in how fast you absorb and receive such. If the mercy of God is limited also, how many people will receive of God's goodness with their slowness and sluggishness in receiving? Much education is becoming madness to some people. Instead of enlightenment, it rather causes more blindness. There are the set who will say, "what connection do receiving has to do with happening." Okay, stay there and let your yoke remain from generation to another. Medical science don't break yokes. It is the anointing! Until anointing ploughs that road open, medical science can't come in. 

Look, when the anointing comes upon the anointed, God draws near to show His willingness. It is not the man now but the God of the man. Without the stirring of the water in today's passage, a person on contact can't be healed. Yokes will rather continue bugging people down. Without God showing up through His anointed also, same happens. Problems aren't solved and burdens aren't dissolved. So, it is an act of God's generosity when the anointing hits somebody and under that influence makes pronunciation that addresses people's matters. Any that receives it will be set free, made whole and blessed. If God's willingness is available to minister; there should be people's willingness to receive. 

Let me ask you, how swift do you attend to divine receiving? Your life depends on it. Those invalids were left to the mercy the stirred water has to offer. There are moments when humans can find themselves in problems money can't solve. Such declarations are therefore very important to your salvation.

I pray for you, you won't be slow at heart nor dull of hearing. Your perception will be opened. Today, I bulldoze your problems and burdens by God's anointing on me. What is the sickness, disease (curable or incurable) you have reports over? Receive a different report now. I plough through your land and declare healing and open heaven on you. So shall it be in Jesus name. Amen.

PRAYER: Lord, may I not lose awe for You. May I see and move at once. May I not offend You through those you've put anointing on. May my disbelief not be counted as sin.

SPIRIT THAT SEES MEN AS TREES

READ Mark 8:22-26

Mark 8:24,KJV

"And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking."

Vision is very important. A blurred vision is not very much different from no vision. A blurred vision will miss what a thing is exactly. It misjudges whatsoever it sees.

Jesus opened the eyes of a blind man and did it by spatting and then touching him. Jesus affirms if he sees after the first act of healing. The man speaks sincerely and says he is seeing men as trees!

How can someone be seeing men as trees.  Obviously, that man has missed the whole picture. You can't call that seeing. If food were placed before him and it's a plate of rice,he would have seen it as a mountain. That's at the first time. To clear his vision, Jesus has to lay hands on him the second time which is the very time his sight is now restored. At that time, he sees men as they were. He didn't take them for any other thing.

This inadequacy of having a thing weaved before one and taking it for an entirely different thing is possible in the spirit. There are spirits that God communicates to but which the communication is misdescribed. He has seen a snake in his vision but his own spirit that couldn't download it adequately presents it to him as a rope. You know that the devil has gotten such. The aim of the devil is to block man from anything called divine communication. If he can't block you from it totally but makes you mis-see, I'll say he has achieved his purpose.

Many Christians there be that are stumbling in seeing. What God presents before them as revelation isn't what they're downloading. Such spirit needs cleansing. God needs to remove the scales and debris hindering its clear vision. When vision isn't clear, description will be distorted.  When it is clear, description becomes accurate.

A spirit that is far from the things of God and has for long interacts with God shouldn't expect anything but to begin to see men as trees. Such spirit will be inadequate to capture vividly all that God may bring before it. May we all have a spirit that can describe accurately what it sees in dreams, visions, trances etc. May we not be of the breed that forgets divine communication shown us or encounters inadequacy describing what we really would be shown by God.

PRAYER: Lord, cleanse my spirit man. Let it be free to detect You and devil's moves accurately.

"Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?"

One wise man of old - Solomon he bears, observed a reversal of a law in play. He was disturbed and in his careful observation said this. 

Ecclesiastes 3:16, KJV

"And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there."

Is this not absurdity that where justice should be vied for, it is denial that springs from there? If you come to discover that the throne that should be established on justice and truth is actually the nest of falsehood and criminality, how much would your disappointment be? People of God, it is God's utmost desire as citizens of His kingdom that our life won't bring forth mixtures. 

Our passage for today says, can a fountain bring forth fresh and bitter water from the same place? It is impossible as proved. A fountain or source of water either chooses to manifest one of the two when issuing from a place. You are a fountain of water. God would be the more pleased if you're sick and it's known you need restoration of health than you acting healthy when you're sick thereby leaving us without discernment of where you really belong. Did He not in the first place come to minister to the sick? [Matt.9:12]. He that is neither cold nor hot, God would spue out of His mouth. If God won't tolerate double lives, it therefore becomes a standard that we should be known for only the exhibition of one life - in our case - righteousness.

How many of you have discovered something about those who seriously profess to be Christians or ministers but who are not in deed and indeed? How did you feel at discovery that what he is reputed for or hailed to be is actually not the life he's living? Did you not feel disappointed? Did you not shout against pretence? Did you not say it would have been better even if she were a whore than projecting the picture of a sister to the world? At such discovery, you're shattered and you recline that it would be better if he were even known as the greatest evil doer. You see, each one of us loves honesty but many times, we don't play by its rule. We don't want deception in any form. We want somebody that belongs to this caste and indeed belongs there. We don't want a fellow who would profess to be with us but at discovery, they are not for us. Do you know why? We'll feel cheated. We'll feel like we've been used and deceived for long - having been taking for a fool. Put God in your shoe at the discovery of the double life you're living while still claiming loyalty to Him or righteousness. Just like you'll feel lied to and made a fool of, that's how God feels about us when we have divided heart and live double lives. On that note, God abhors double lives. He'll rather you're cold or hot [Rev. 3:15-16]. He always want to know who we are every time. It is that sincerity that determines what ministration we would need from Him.  Today, God is calling you to repentance and a jettisoning of that twin life that issues bitter water. God would have loved if you're a chronic sinner that all heart must stay on to get born again than a wolf in sheep clothing in the congregation of saints lifting up holy hands. That's an error but also, it shouldn't be found in you if you profess to be for Christ's that there's a commodity of Satan in you at inspection.  Please, how do we categorise you? Make it easier for God and we today!

PRAYER: I want to issue only fresh water (righteousness). Show me areas to shut down where my testimony before you and the world is bitter and contrary.

APPEASING THE PROUD

Read II Kings 5:1-15

II Kings 5:13, KJV

"And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?"

To quench a raging fire, you don't start another. You rather seek for water by whose ability the fire could be quenched. In today's reading, the King of Syria would give anything for the recovery of Naaman's leprosy. This shows the invaluable of Naaman to him. Were we not told he was the one by which victory was brought to Syria? So, what would be too costly to spend on him? On that basis, a letter was sent to the King of Israel to cure Naaman of his leprosy. Finally, the message of the letter got to its rightful address and found Elisha - a prophet in Israel. Naaman came in his almightiness. He came with convoy, with chariots and horses. So many body guards surrounded him that day. He was expecting Elisha to come out and wave his hand over the place, calling on God's name and recovering him. However, God's way is not man's. God must have been bent to humble Naaman and purge him of the dross in him. Elisha, an authority in his own right didn't even show up. He only sent instructions that Naaman should go bathe in the Jordan by dipping himself in there seven times. Naaman wouldn't take this. He flared up and up he went home in his chariot. Imagine the attitude of he who was looking for a cure. Some are expectant mothers but their attitude is the same. Some have terminal sicknesses yet their sense of ego, wealth and the deception of riches is still not letting them humble themselves to receive their healing. They're still trying to understand why the prophet would instruct so simply.  They're still contesting it like Naaman. If they were given the choice, they'll prefer to go carry out the given instruction in Abana or Pharpar when the Spirit of the Lord that doesn't lie says Jordan. Is that not with a cause?

On hearing this, the entire household was concerned for Naaman. Now, who will bell the cat? Who will go to change his view and persuade him to give it a try? Just then, some of his household servants who must have rehearsed the matter before presentation walked up to him. They must have taken humble postures to appease the god of the tribe of Syria - Naaman who was offended and angry at Elisha and his humiliating instructions. The servant who served as spokesman for others called him, "My father". That's who he is to them but more importantly it shows the humble spirit in which that servant came to have his attention and sue for his reconsideration. Then, he presented the matter in a logical way to him. In a manner that if reasoned, any selfish, egoistic man would see that the instruction was actually out to benefit him. Or was it not given to benefit him? It was but he didn't see it because of his disappointed expectation. "If the prophet had bid him to buy fifty oxen for instance, he would have seen it as logical and then bought it. How much more just taking a bathe and getting cleansed?" For the first time like Nebuchadnezzar, his reason came to him [Daniel 4:34,36]. He understood that he shouldn't have been offended at all. Having being persuaded in this manner, he went to carry out the instruction. Behold, the doing of it brought the outcome and he returned with thanksgiving. You see, he was selfish just like we also. When a thing doesn't meet our expectation, we are offended at it.  

However, did you see how to make appeals to a spouse, superior, colleague or friend who's stubborn, selfish, egoistic and proud. Same goes for anyone you want to have do a thing. Such may even be your stubborn child. Appeal to their sense of benefit.  Humble yourself. Dethrone yourself. Don't count yourself an equal with them. You must be able to say like that servant, "My uncle, my husband: my only darling; His Excellency sir e.t.c." If you however come around and shout saying, "Look at you. Won't you go? Is it until you die?" He won't though he dies in his pride. He'll rather preserve his honour and ego. So, learn today as a parent, child, spouse, subordinate, leader or whatsoever how to have your way with people. We don't need to fight if we have learnt what fits a particular situation and what each person would open to. May you be taught!

PRAYER: Give me the wisdom to esteem another above me. May you teach me how to cultivate and be a benefit to all my relationships and connections. May I not die in my pride when cure and aid is at hand.

A CURSE AND WHAT IT DOES

Read Numbers 22:1-10

Numbers 22:6, KJV

"Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed".

That's wise Balak seeking the service of reputed Balaam to come curse Israel for him. Why should another wake to the destruction of another? As it is here, Israel is Moab's threat and Balak, the King of Moab would see to it that Israel is taken out so it doesn't conquer her like it conquered other reported nations for which Moab fear. 

What is a curse? It's a working unseen but which can manifest that becomes an entity - a demon for instance to rule in the affairs of the cursed. Balak couldn't naturally fight and conquer Israel because some nations have tried and failed. On that experimentation, and having heard of the supernatural victories of Israel, he also requested for a supernatural help that might help him subdue them. Why did he request Israel to be cursed? Because Israel is too powerful for him. Begin to think of someone you want to give a knock on the head but who is far taller than you. You need to reach his head and administer the knock but the odds are against you. He's taller than you while naturally you are shorter. You either need high heels to correspond or outgrow his height or you need him to stoop before you see his head available for such knock. Such was the case Balak and his nation fell into. By divine ordination and the sovereignty of God's covenant and blessings working with Israel, no nation could have them fought naturally like that and get them defeated. Having seen this to be true, Balak opted for a way of reducing them to a place of being won. Do you now understand what a curse does? A curse reduces what is tall to what becomes short. It is a curse that makes the invincible to become the vulnerable. Israel is invincible but in the situation room, Balak had gathered that after being cursed, Israel might not be so invincible. The likelihood and chances that she's conquerable would then be opened.

If you're blessed, you don't know what it means until the enemy tries you and they encounter a blockade. That blockade is what every wise enemy always want to remove. Until the removal of that shield of yours, you can't just be touched. Blessing places a "touch not" on you. We have properties that are protected by several things written on them. You'll read a thing like, "Don't enter here. Government's order etc". That simple statement protects that place from being a walkway of men.

A curse brings to a place of vulnerability where the strong becomes the weak and could therefore be handled and the will of the enemy carried out on him. Consider Samson, he was invincible until his source of strength was revealed. After then, he became vulnerable. His two eyes were gorged out and then made a grinder and clown for jests making. Imagine how lowly the strong could become. That secret Samson gave away made him the cursed. That's the purpose of anyone cursing you. It's to subdue you so that anything, anyone and even the least of life situation that others are shelling and defeating could defeat you notoriously. It's then you'll ask, "Why is mine hard? Why can't I do naturally what others are doing and achieving?" Behold, it is a curse. Today, I pray that you won't be weakened. Anything that has weakened you, you recover from such in Jesus name. Even behind you, may Jesus Christ advocate for you not to be cursed. May it be only said of you that, "You're blessed." I break the yoke of curses and the rod of it under which you've been subdued to servitude. 

PRAYER: I refuse to be shrunk. Anything or word of man seeking to create a vulnerability in me to be conquered, I rebuke you.
