LET TIME TELL!

"38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God."

When I returned from the compulsory one year service to fatherland and said, "God has called me to flag a ministry and do certain details appointed to me", people doubted.

I had people who were sincere in their questioning me and wanted to help me set things straight. Meanwhile, I also had those who responded with sarcasm and mockery. Some said, "Let him alone. It is the fire in Nigeria's Christian Corpers' Fellowship (NCCF) that he caught that was burning in him. It'll soon burn out." Another, "All these ministries after National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) are not trustworthy. We've seen how some ended who held that claim. We can predict this one also."

However, what they did not know is that Morning Wings Ministry will beg to differ. What they did not know is that I've always carried the call and I've been walking in its consciousness even if I had no title or had it formalized into a ministry. What they didn't know is that God had even made demands on me before leaving campus which I pacified until after my service year in order to be unencumbered. It was for all these I took time to hear God on what he would have me do as soon as I graduated. Instead of going in search of petty jobs as I awaited mobilization for service, I rather joined myself to an anointed minister, in the person of Venerable Johnson Oyebode whom God had afore told me about even before his arrival and transfer to St. Peter's Anglican Church, Ijagun, Ogun State.

There will be liars and there'll be truth tellers. There'll be those who God has not made demands on, pretending to be so. However, that's not me. Every executive member who served with me during my second tenure as president in Anglican Students' Fellowship (ASF) TASUED then knew this truth that Bro. Sola would repeatedly say, "God would be sending him to Nicopolis." They know what Nicopolis is. A place God would have me winter and get trained for ministry under the hand of an anointed, chosen and trusted minister. And so it happened.

So, coming with a ministry after NYSC experience was not a mere carryover of what happened to me in Katsina NCCF. It was because I rather sought God during that year personally and God had burdened me with the details of my calling (though I had known I had a call before then)"

So, it was in waiting for three months I received the name of the ministry and what God would have me do. Since then till now, the ministry is only growing and becoming a bigger concern to the devil. It has not stopped and I have not gotten tired myself. My fuel hasn't run out as some men predicted.

Just like Gamaliel said, "Refrain from these men and let them alone; for if this counsel or work be of men, it will come to nought but if it be of God, you cannot overthrow it; lest you're found even to fight against God."

Except you want to offend God through what you say against me, you can't overthrow what God has called forth by His mouth. This work is not my imagination, plan or cook up. It came from heaven. God called for it and He found me to do it.

Time has tell. Morning Wings Ministry is already over a decade yet nobody has seen me do an anniversary. I've mastered wisdom until the day is dawn. Brethren, time will tell indeed and separate between what is fake, false and genuine. However, let yours be a work that comes from God. John has one testimony that differentiates him from many pseudo ministers of his days. Listen to it and let that define you.

John 1:6, KJV

"There was a man sent from God, whose name was John."

PRAYER: May I not run the race that you have not commanded. Help me to understand your calling on my life and heed it.

DETAILS OF YOUR CALLING

Acts 9:15, KJV

"But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:"

Every calling is like a capsule. That capsule contains certain details. Those details are given or determined by the Lord. I believe strongly that what has not been allocated to you, you cannot do. Even if you strive to do it, it won't come easy and if you eventually get it done, it'll be dead work for you because it was never counted for you to do.

After this teaching, you'll see reasons why you should stay in your lane and not break rank. God has given and determined for everybody what they should cover and how far they should go. Consider the verse we have above.

First, God affirms Saul (later Paul) as a chosen instrument unto Him. What this means is that Paul is not an interloper. He didn't come there to poke nose. He was called. He was chosen to come and do certain things for God. With being chosen comes the instrumentality of the anointing that'll make those works prosperous in his hands. He couldn't have done anything with the arm of the flesh or by presumption.

Then, the Lord begins to disclose certain things on the calling/ministry of Paul that he would be known for. He's to bear Jesus' name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel. Unlike Peter who mostly stayed in the Jerusalem church, Paul was a traveling minister. He took the gospel to new territories - the Gentile nations just as it was said of him and fulfilled in all these places (Acts 13:46-47, Rom.11:13, Gal.2:7-8). Also, in the process of being tried, he stood and brought the gospel before kings as earlier said of him when he was receiving his mandate (Acts 25:23-24, Acts 26:1-2, Acts 24:24-25, Acts 25:6-12, II Tim.4: 16-17) without neglecting witnesses before the children of Israel also (Acts 13:5, 14-16, 17:1-2, 28:17).

You wonder why some people have special open ministry doors to the government, influential people, children, the addicted, force members etc, it may be because when they were being harnessed for their calling, those were subject matters God would have them cover. There's no calling without an intended audience or purpose(s). God raises and sends callings to people for diverse reasons as they have needs. He knows who is best suited to meet certain needs of certain people at a particular time.

All these should make it clear to you that you cannot copy another man's calling or the details of his calling. If you do, you'll leave the details of your own calling undone and be ineffective in the other which was not given to you to do. All the details in Paul's calling were so much fulfilled that the accompanying suffering that was meant to follow his ministry also followed him.

Acts 9:16, KJV

"For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake."

Indeed, he fulfilled all those severally (II Cor. 11:23-27, Acts 14:19-20, Acts 16:22-23, Eph. 3:1).

You see, everything was determined for him at the beginning. What differentiates his calling from any other apostle's calling are those. It was God who measured and determined for him what to do. Thanks to God that he ate all and finished the meat of He that sent him. Thanks that he could later open his mouth to say, "I have finished my race" (II Tim. 4:6-8). A man who has finished his race or course has fulfilled every bit and part of his calling. This is who you should be. A man who goes all the way doing everything written, prophesied and declared of him. None should be missing - even when there are portions of suffering for you to drink.

PRAYER: I embrace my calling and accept it with trust. I fulfill the details of my own calling and finish it. I shall not do another.

CAUGHT IN THE THICKET AND WITHIN REACH

Genesis 22:13, KJV

"And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son."

You've seen according to John 3:27 that unless things are descended for you or voluntarily given to you first, you just cannot have them. It is not how tall you are physically that makes you possess things or have them. No! It is God's to give or release to you. The Bible has this to say to that effect.

Psalms 104:28-29, KJV

"28 That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled..."

It is what God gives us we gather. When He hides His face, we are immediately troubled, pessimistic on where our provision will come from.

This tells us that all of creation takes survival from God. If God closes His store, they'll be troubled and thrown into a frenzy.

However, you're receiving help today. It is the help God gives to Abraham, his friend after testing his heart and affirming his obedience. When God tells Abraham to look up and not sacrifice Isaac, God's provision draws near.

It is a ram! God has provided a sacrifice like Abraham earlier assured and spoke in faith to Isaac - "God will provide for Himself a lamb." However, God is full of compassion and much consideration. He knows Abraham cannot pursue or exercise himself strenuously to run after a ram. So, God devised a means. He held the ram in a thicket for Abraham. This now leaves Abraham to only approach, untie and sacrifice it in place of Isaac. So, strenuous effort is eliminated.

This is what God is doing for you. He's bringing it near you. What is meant for you shall be caught in a thicket for you. Blessings will not be on the run and on motion, distancing themselves from you. Rather, they'll be within your reach. They'll be intentionally lowered down for you.

PRAYER: Provision, opportunities and wherewithal I need to do life is caught in a thicket for me.

ON MOTION: A DAY LIKE NEVER

"And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God brought it to me."

There are basically two types of people. Those who find it quickly and those who will merry-go-round and continue to beat round the bush until the deed is done, the time is elapsed and there's no more blessing to give.

That describes the story and manifestations of . We all know the story. The whispers of Isaac are betrayed to Rebekah who because of her love for Jacob urged him to prepare to take his brother's blessing. While Esau is on the field, seeking a game, the sort that Isaac loves, Jacob comes in with a kid favourably prepared by his mum and steals the blessings of Esau.

However, here's where the story is mysterious. That day, Esau couldn't return on time. It seems what will be will be. I guess all the animals intentionally ran away from him. He just couldn't have success and breakthrough on time. Guess when he came back. After the deed has just ended.

"And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting."

What sort of logic is at play? Why would Esau on a day like this have this kind of delay? Why would he only make an entrance just after the knife had cut the flesh, resulting in an open wound? Why would the first born come late?

Compare that experience to that of Jacob when Isaac said, "How is it that you have found it so quickly today?" Immediately, you'll see a man that everything works for and a man that everything works against. Things work so much for Jacob that his mother even stepped in to make him strong for the act by agreeing to be his substitute for a curse if anything goes wrong.

"And his mother said unto him, Upon me be thy curse, my son: only obey my voice, and go fetch me them."

One of the and how He'll take up our sins.

I pray for you, you will find things so quickly on your journey. God will bring things to you that others are using their life, time, money and effort to chase. It will come to you. As you go today, God will raise sponsors and adopters for you who'll back you up and strengthen your heart and hands in critical choices and matters. You'll never be alone - lacking guides and motivators. Your operations will be done in the multitude of counsels and you will not fail. Delays are lifted. are broken. What is yours, no man shall take let alone intrude into.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: Life is easy for me. Even without much struggling, I find what others are hunting for in the wild. I enjoy favour and accelerated results.

LOWER IT FOR ME - I See Heaven Open Series 009

Acts 10:11, KJV

"And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:"

We have to cry to God that God would, "lower it for us." If you haven't prayed that prayer or if God doesn't give you that mercy, then you can never take certain opportunities.

God must descend things to you before you can take it. Else, it becomes impossible. John speaking says, "Nobody can receive anything except it be given him from above" (John 3:27).

Only if you know what that means. Only if you know the consequences of that. No man means no man irrespective of position, status, power or what have you. Except it is first given to him in the spiritual realm, he can't have it in the physical.

Except it is first made possible for him, he can't touch it let alone claim or have it. Even before the voice could say to Peter, "Rise, Kill and eat", God had to make sure first of all that the sheet was descended for Peter and to him. God wouldn't have told him to rise, kill and eat if it was not within his reach.

God does not want to suffer Peter. He lowered it to his height. God really wanted him to rise, kill and eat. God really wanted him to have that opportunity and move that He has brought to him. So, it was descended and lowered to him.

This is how things will begin to be lowered for you. Nothing will be too far for you to do or located outside your reach. You won't need to struggle. You will just stretch and catch it by the horns.

PRAYER: Lord, I terminate struggles in my life. I'm eased. My attempts are easy and I receive by this in this life.

HERALD ANGELS - I See Heaven Open Series 008

John 1:51, KJV

"And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man."

When the heaven is opened and angels begin to ascend and descend, you're in for one surprise.

They will come with what they have to give. And, what do angels have to give if not the divinity of God manifested and the transporting of the resources before Him to the earth. Angels must ascend and descend upon you. That minister, you must begin to have this experience of angels coming and mounting upon you. That's when you can minister heavily under the anointing.

The angels that will invade your space as soon as they ascend and descend will not come empty handed. They'll come with every blessings of heaven and its nature. As they make your life, room or house their playground, you will begin to receive an inflow and a rub on of power, grace, gifts and new abilities. What they have in heaven as gifts, they'll bring to you on earth. Whenever angels come around, they just haven't come to sight see. On one occasion after Jesus had just concluded His temptations, they visited to give Him ministration. Imagine that! What sort of ministration did you think they gave Jesus?

Matthew 4:11, KJV

"Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him."

It could be to repair his strength even by physically nourishing Him. You know a sort of wear and tear happened as Jesus fasted. He must sure have lost weight, needing replenishment. That He is now being ministered to by the angels shows the role they play when they invade the human plane.

Also in Luke 22:43, the Bible says an angel strengthened Jesus. That was in the Garden of Gethsemane.

"And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him."

Angel's strengthening action could keep you from discouragement, lest you enter depression that'll make you cast in the towel or even despise life. No matter how hard the burden is on you, God can relieve you through the ministration of angels and He does relieve you through them that you might not be down casted.

Let's say your parents travel abroad. Don't you think upon their arrival from abroad, they'll bring goodies from there. That exemplifies what these angels will live up to. Let's consider this verse.

Genesis 8:11, KJV

"And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth."

You know that story. A dove is sent out to ascertain the abatement of the water. It not only went but also returned with a freshly plucked olive branch. It means, earth has appeared and plants have germinated again over it.

The ascending and descending angels are not empty handed angels. As they relate with you, they'll make you forget your carnality while you'll begin to take up their nature. They are doves with a freshly plucked olive branch in their mouth - heralding a new world, peace and joy. They won't come empty handed. They haven't come without bringing heaven's atmosphere on earth. This month, heaven's blessings is all around you.

PRAYER: In this new month, I taste of heaven's divinity anew. I'm relieved of burdens. Rather, I'm filled with joy and goodies. I receive ministrations of angels.

WHEN HEAVEN AND EARTH'S INTIMACY HAPPEN - I See Heaven Open Series 007

John 1:51, KJV

"And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man."

When heaven opens, there's also an invasion and visit of heaven literally to earth. When heaven opens for a spiritual man, fellowship with God becomes easier like nothing else. God will literally begin to visit him like He visited and walked with Enoch. His will be a close walk with God. Why? Heaven has opened. The curtains have been taken away. The veil is broken! No more partition. He now has full bright and clear access. The impossible is becoming possible. Impossibility has been dissolved and possibility has taken shape.

Jesus told Nathaniel, "Afterwards, you will see heaven open and the angels of God ascending and descending over the son of man."

Does this verse wake up any other verse or experience in you? Yes, it should.

Genesis 28:12, KJV

"And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it."

Jesus is the fulfillment of this dream of Jacob. This signifies an invasion of heaven's courtroom on earth. When heaven is pleased with you or you're marked for such visitation, they'll visit. A portal will open not only for their ascension but for their descent. They'll make your room, house or place of fellowship their playground. They will be coming and going. You will have such an experience and fellowship with heaven that you'll begin to be altered immediately until you get to a point of no return where you may be literally taken away from the earth like Enoch was taken or where having had so much foretaste of heaven, you'll crave nothing else but to be united with God, even if it'll be through death.

You can be on earth and begin to have the vision of heaven. Once a man gets here, it's a matter of time, God will call him home. Why? That man will become a misfit to the ways of the world and the people around him. Imagine if your dad begins to shout all day long, "They're here again o. Those angels of light are here again. They're singing." Imagine your mum dancing to invisible bands and unheard music. Yet she's saying, "What a music" and you could see her move and the choreographed dance in perfect synchronization. Won't you think heaven is collapsing? So, before you take your parents to the psychiatry, God will rather call them home. Why? Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. God will not want them to suffer out of your ignorance.

When heaven opens and there's an invasion and kissing of heaven with the earth, strong fellowship and ties are formed. Fellowship that levitates you from the ground begins and you'll begin to travel out of your body like Paul (II Cor.12:2-4). At times, you may begin to disappear and take transport to do ministries in places unknown because God wants it. Consider Philip (Acts 8:39-40).

Once angels begin to ascend and descend or descend and ascend, there's a unity of spirit between a human vessel and these heavenly emissaries. It means a thoroughfare, passage way of heaven has been opened to the benefit of those on earth.

Heaven must open on you. Angels must descend over you and ascend again to bring heaven's vitality and blessings back to the earth for you. You've watched movies where an alien descends to relate with humans; therefore empowering the found vessel by making him overcome certain natural weaknesses and doing the impossible. This message is its reality. Once the portal opens and there's a visitation of heaven, strange things will begin by you and through you. You might even speak a new language all together.

PRAYER: Lord, I am available for such an intimate fellowship. Make of me and do with me as you'll choose. You have a free vessel.

A SHEET DESCENDED - I See Heaven Open Series 006

Acts 10:11, KJV

"And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:"

When heaven opens, another consequence is that, "A sheet can be descended to you and for your information." An information can be given to you on what next steps or assignment or chapter is to open before you.

God does not like to leave His children in darkness. He always does His due diligence to get them ready for the flight they are to take and for the chapter(s) knocking on their gates.

God didn't shroud Peter in mystery but rather came to him. Though Peter struggled to understand this vision, yet the Spirit urged him on.

Acts 10:17, 19, KJV

"17 Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made an enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate...

19 While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee."

He was seeking to decode what it means. The Spirit had to urge him on. He only knows what it means after getting to Cornelius' house.

Acts 10:28, KJV

"And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean."

Did you see how he said, "God had shown him not to call anyone common?" That's the clue and answer. Brethren, there are those God is preparing and harnessing for the next stages of their lives now. Therefore, heaven must open for their sake and it is opening now. The sheet carrying the message, information and equipping God wants you to have with you for the success of your journey is being lowered to you now.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: I am equipped. I'm not without steps on what to do or hints on what's coming my way. I'm guided and prepared for the future to unfold.

THE MAN GOD HAS ACCEPTED HIS WORKS - I See Heaven Open Series 005

Acts 10:4, KJV

"And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God."

When the way of a man pleases the Lord, what can He not do for him? In one place, the Bible says, "He will even make his enemies be at peace with him" (Prov. 16:7). What a strange verse!

Anything can happen for a man who has satisfied God's heart in Christ. Look at Cornelius here. Look at the citation and the commendation heaven read for him.

"Your prayers and your alms have come up as a memorial before God."

Imagine that! It means some things that he has been doing persistently have come to be acknowledged by God and because of that, heaven had to open, give way and an errand sent by the hand of an angel before God so he could be rewarded.

Guess what his reward is? Salvation of his soul. Hear the angel speak.

Acts 10:5-6, KJV

"5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:

6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do."

What Peter later told Cornelius and all that had waited for him to come was to put their faith in Jesus Christ. Peter only preached the gospel to them. God could see that Cornelius was feeling after Him. The Bible described him as a man who fears the Lord and who does a lot of alms and prayers. But that's not how to get to the Lord except through the receiving of His Son, Jesus. That made God reward him with a preacher who could preach the gospel to him. He was not only filled with the Holy Ghost but also baptized with his people.

When heaven opens, you will receive an emissary of God, for your good and in order to meet your utmost need. For Cornelius, his utmost need was salvation. Not healing from a heart failure or the appointment of financial breakthrough to him. God sees you also. He is visiting you also, to meet your most critical need as you would have.

FOR YOUR EQUIPPING - I See Heaven Open Series 004

Matthew 3:16, KJV

"And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:"

Some will experience a closed heaven even after praying or doing one spiritual exercise or the other. God will not just accept them. He will not accept their prayers let alone affirm it by releasing a manifestation or answer to endorse the act they've done before Him.

After the prophets of Baal had been killed and Mount Carmel revival had resulted, Elijah gave one response to Ahab. He said, "Go thy way lest the rain stop you." Their answer came in the rain that was gathering to pour. Their closed heaven is about to open and pour down God's blessings now.

I Kings 18:44, KJV

"And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not."

Their long awaited answer had come. They had sacrificed to God, fire had fallen and had consumed their sacrifice. God has accepted their work. It was such an answer - a massive one, trodding and coming on its way that Elijah warned that Ahab should move on. There's no time God answers people that there's no manifestation to show for it. May God accept your work also. Else, you may not be able to rejoice and dance.

Ecclesiastes 9:7, KJV

"Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works."

You see, certain things happen when God has accepted one's work, offering or act of piety to Him. We'll consider Cornelius later in this series but let's settle on Jesus' baptism.

When God accepted the act of Jesus' baptism here, He testified of it with a proof and a manifestation. He sent the Spirit in the form of a dove, bodily descending on Jesus. The heavens opened and the Spirit of God descended on Jesus. That's another manifestation of an open heaven. The Spirit is given, poured or given for your equipping. At this time, a man is no longer alone or ordinary. He has God's presence with Him.

May God accept your work, act, practice, prayer. When He does, you'll see its manifestations. Heaven will open for you, even on you and you will receive answers and testimonies. What you will also hear might be a voice saying, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" (Matthew 3:17, KJV).

It means the person of Jesus is accepted before God. Didn't you read, "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased." When God is pleased with you, irrespective of what your act is before Him, it will be received and testified of. The release of the anointing and the voice that testifies to John of Jesus all proves that God accepted Jesus and His act of baptism. Is this who you are? Are you working your life in line with God's will or against His revealed will, the Bible?

PRAYER: I am accepted in Jesus Christ. When I call, He answers me. When I pray, I secure open heavens. I am not alone. The Spirit is upon me.

THE CONFESSION OF STEPHEN - I See Heaven Open Series 003

Acts 7:56, KJV

"And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God."

You will see heaven opened. When you see heaven open, you immediately beg to differ. When others are thinking on the carnal, you'll be thinking on the spiritual. When others are lost on the physical or ephemeral, you'll be focused and fixated on the spiritual.

Brethren, you must see heaven opened. Stephen saw heaven open and it created a different man of him from those who didn't see heaven opened. When you see heaven opened and the son of man seated at the right hand of God, you lose hold of earthly things and immediately become engulfed, beginning to participate in heavenly conversations. The earthly man majors in the earthly but the spiritual majors in the heavenly.

Stephen's encounter here shocked me to the marrow. Here's a man that's been seized to give account of himself after having been wrongly accused of blasphemy. After his long story, he reaches a juncture where the gyre turns because he was interrupted by a heavenly vision. Immediately, he declared what he saw.

Acts 7:55-56, KJV

"55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God."

Did you see? When you're full of the Holy Ghost and others are acting fleshly, your own gaze will rather be to heaven. Rather, you will set the Lord before you, at your right hand and therefore you cannot be moved. While Stephen was seeing heaven and Jesus at the Father's right hand, all the traditional religious leaders saw nor heard anything. They were dead in their sins and couldn't have heaven opened to them. These are backsliders who are petrifying in their sins and persecuting the Way. Guess what their response was.

Acts 7:57-58, KJV

"57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul."

Did you see that? While Stephen was seeing and doing something spiritual, they were doing the counter spiritual. May you not be an earthly man. May you be full of the Spirit to see heaven and the Lord Jesus at God's right hand. When others are corrupted, lost, confused, exhibiting carnality, may you exhibit steadfastness in God - maintaining intimacy and communing with Him still.

Brethren, "I see heaven open."

PRAYER/CONFESSION: I beg to differ this morning. I have set the Lord always before me, how then can I be moved?

WHEN HEAVEN OPENS - I See Heaven Open Series 002

II Kings 7:2 , KJV

"Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof."

When heaven opens, something happens. There's always surplus. It doesn't matter what your history has been. It doesn't matter whether it's been difficult for you to live or put your hands in your mouth. Once heaven opens, it comes to break the back of scarcity and needs in your life. In this story, Elisha declares surplus but is refuted by someone who says, "Could that be if God were to open literal windows in heaven...?"

God would soon prove that He doesn't even need to go that far to get the same ends met. However, why would this man be this a doubter?

That is because the kind of ease and surplus Elisha declared was too fine to be good considering the degree and intensity of famine that has pushed mothers to eat their own children (II Kings 6:29). So, what sort of surplus would happen to restore their times? So, what sort of wind would blow to bring quails for them from the East? So what sort of heaven will open that manna might fall from the sky? These are people who have been shut up in their city probably for months and have tasted hunger first hand. What sort of famine could have happened that once upon neglected goods are now known for their expensiveness?

II Kings 6:25, KJV

"And there was a great famine in Samaria: and, behold, they besieged it, until an ass's head was sold for fourscore pieces of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of dove's dung for five pieces of silver."

Donkeys were considered unclean animals (Lev.11). Even for those who might eat one, the head is the less desirable part. Yet, it was sold for 80 pieces of silver - an extremely high price.

Cow dungs could have been literal birds' droppings used as fuel or certain plants or seeds given that name. Irrespective of what it is, it was something usually worthless that's now being sold for an inflated price.

These two experiences describe the criticality of the famine amidst the cannibalism and death that have been recorded. So, why would anyone think that God would just come to turn their situation around within a jiffy? That Lord had been beaten to a rigid stand point where he begins to believe such a miracle cannot just happen. It is rather wise to say they'll recover little by little, let's say within a space of six months or a year. However, Elisha said, "By this time tomorrow." That's why he called God a liar.

II Kings 7:1, KJV

"Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria."

So, it became unfathomable for him. You see, he has no eyes of faith and pays dearly for it. God didn't strive to bring the prophecy to pass at all. He proved indeed that such abundance could result without windows being opened literally in heaven though windows still had to be opened. That window becomes Samaria's way of escape.

So, he orchestrated to lift the siege of Syria and make Samaria spoil it. This way, though God didn't open windows literally in heaven, yet this provided abundance proves that God opens metaphoric windows proving that there's nothing God's mouth declares that won't come to pass. If not for the windows opened, what sort of abundance could have suddenly deflated that high rise famine?

I Corinthians 10:13, KJV

"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

I'm hearing, "But will with the temptation make a way of escape that you may be able to bear it." You're having solutions and escapes this morning. As it applies to you, "Receive a way of escape! From your tight spot, hopeless and difficult situation, receive a way of escape. Let a channel be created leading to a solution for you!"

For your sake, there are windows in heaven. Ways of escape are being created for you economically and financially now. For your sake, preparation is being put in place for your breakthrough, promotion and experience of abundance. Something out of the ordinary like the enemy hearing the sound of a multitude of chariots and being misled by it is happening to create your possibilities.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive my way of escape. A way of escape is always created for me in tight corners and even at breaking points.

I SEE HEAVEN OPEN! - I See Heaven Open Series 001

Luke 3:21, KJV

"Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened."

Brethren, I see heaven open. A new season is upon us. Say, "A new season is upon me." Say, "Heaven is open over me."

Get ready for a new journey and harnessing. New things will begin to happen to you serially now. I see heaven open!Brethren, I see heaven open!

Whenever heaven opens, something is to happen, be born or become fulfilled. I'm burdened and filled to the brim to declare and announce again that, "I see heaven open!"

Heaven has been torn up! Heaven has been drawn sideways like a curtain for your sake because of what God wants to do.

I see heaven open!

When heaven opens, things can fall from there to you. Gifts can be distributed. Mantles could descend and the spirits of just men made perfect could be yours. New seasons can be heralded and given. New 'oil' or anointing may be given to someone. What I see is that heaven is open to someone. I see heaven open.

I'm hearing a verse in my spirit. Consider this.

II Kings 7:2, KJV

I see heaven open. Windows are open in heaven for you - for a downpour, for a heavy downpour of blessings. Your famine has ended. Your time of want is lifted. I see heaven open with windows in it. Blessings will soon begin to manifest to fulfill this in your life.

Just like the prophecy of the man of God, Elisha came to pass in the lives of those who believed, didn't refute or contest it, I also assure you that God has gone to work - making and mixing everything to work for your good.

The Syrians had to hear the voice of many chariots in order to flee and leave their camp as it is (II Kings 7:6-7). What needs to be done is being done by the Lord now for your sake and the appearance of your new season. Manifestations of that open heaven must be brought to tangibility because God's mouth has proclaimed, "An open heaven." The heavy discovery of resources so much more that the siege of Samaria was over immediately is happening to you. A season that has so much prolonged over you has now come to an end. A new chapter is starting now, from now.

You will not only eat or drink but you will carry away to hide (II Kings 7:8). The blessings will be so much that you'll need to call the whole city to come and eat (II Kings 7:10). I see heaven open! Await your downpour because it's raining.

PRAYER/CONFESSION: Things are taking new turns for me in the spirit and manifesting so tangibly and physically. Heaven is open to me and for me.

JUST PASSING THROUGH - The Passing Through Of The Lord Series 007

Acts 8:40, KJV

"But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea."

God wants you to get to a place where purpose has totally taken you over. Not everyone gets there. You must be such a Christian that lives intentionally and by the principle of commitment and not convenience. When you live by commitment, even when it is not delightful, you'll keep doing what is expected of you. The immature and the unintentional are those who relocated and having been put at arm's length from people, chooses to do their thing, which is convenient for them.

That shows you they have not been living intentionally before. When you have been faithful in secret, it will show in the public assignments given you. The people who will not be able to sustain faithfulness outwardly are those who have practiced unfaithfulness in secrecy.

What does the Bible say about Philip? "But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea."

Philip could have given the excuse of, "I am just a passerby. There's nothing so special. I'm not waiting or tarrying here." However, he begged to differ. The Bible rather says, "...and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea."

If you have not done a similar act before, you might not know it takes a lot of sacrifice and intention to do so. Have you gone on a journey before where you had to board like 3-4 transportation systems to get there? Have you ever preached in all of them? Or you only comforted yourself that having preached in one would do? If you had done a thing like that before, you'll know how tedious it is for Philip to preach in all their cities. Let alone, Philip was probably on foot also, travelling, yet he preached as he passed through all their cities until he made arrival at Caesarea.

How many of you have comforted yourself with the thought of, "I am just passing through. I am just a stranger. We just came here to visit. I'm not an indigene. I am not here permanently. I just came for SIWES. I just came for teaching practice. I just wanted to say hi to you etc?" Philip found himself in your shoes but he still didn't shed off the responsibility of preaching the gospel. Even if it was somebody you just met at the bus stop and your waiting time isn't more than two to five minutes, I bet it with you that you can still introduce Christ to him.

You also must learn to preach the gospel as you pass through places and people. You must learn to preach the gospel to every creature you contact whether you have such a luxury of time or not. Philip didn't have that. He didn't lodge overnight, and got comfortable before he opened his mouth. He did even in his weariness and journey. As you go through life, meeting people and touching new places, make it a point of duty to preach Christ to them.

Many will be prepared grounds for you. They will be like the Ethiopian Eunuch reading the book of Isaiah but who couldn't understand it and now desires someone to join him in his vehicle and interpret it to him.

Acts 8:31, KJV

"And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him."

Many of those you will meet might be troubled, confused, depressed, frustrated and those needing answers and comfort. Their needing answers and comfort will be your leverage in their lives. Like that man desired Philip to come and sit with him, they also will show great enthusiasm to listen to what you have to say. They may maintain a front. They may be the Ethiopian Eunuch - a great man who has charge of all the treasures of Candace but I tell you, they are like ripe fruit that falls when its branch is shaken. I pray for you, you won't trivialize the preaching of the gospel as you visit, go round, travel around. Rather, while with friends, siblings, school mates etc, you'll have cause to say, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek" (Romans 1:16, KJV).

PRAYER/CONFESSION: Lord, I preach in and out seasons. I am able and empowered. I am not ashamed of the gospel.

WHEN BURDENED FOR PLACES!

Let me tell you this.

Whenever a country occurs to you, pray for it.

Several places, cities and countries have occurred to me on occasions.

I don't know all God might want to do about them but I did one thing.

I sent prayers there.

It's Cyprus that's coming to my mind now.

Who knows whether one will minister in all those places one day?

The same applies to persons.

As a matter of fact, I reaped a testimony on that of persons on Wednesday by being prompt to call someone the Spirit highlighted to me to call.

Be obedient!

Guess what I'm perceiving and which I can substantiate with Scriptures.

The Bible says, "Every place your feet shall step, there have I collected for you."

God also told Abraham, "Look at the sky and the stars innumerable, so shall your seeds be."

I just paraphrased those verses.

What if it'll also be unto you according to your obedience and uttered prayers.

The Bible says this. I heard it expressly.

Psalms 122:6-7, KJV

"6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces."

Note the part that says, "They shall PROSPER that love thee."

How do you love a nation? What is the prove of your love for places?

Praying for them!

And I tell you, you will prosper. You will not only prosper but one day, you will see those places you have prayed for.

I'm also seeing Acts 10. Before Peter was set on motion to Caesarea, he first had seen a sheet descended to him, foreshadowing his soon move to the Gentiles and the opening of that world up for evangelism.

Guess what the Spirit told him.

Acts 10:19-20, KJV

"9 While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.

20 Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them."

Did you see that? Prayers don't get lost? They are sown seeds. You shall find them after many days. They are only being casted on the water. They shall be retrieved at manifestion.

Visions don't die. Joseph's dream came to pass. The seeing of the stars by Abraham was fulfilled.

Pray for the peace of those places and a reward shall be returned to you too.

It may be that, "Every place your mouth walks over in prayer as the burden comes to you shall be collected for you."

Probably God is determining the extent Morning Wings Ministry or the work in our hands should go.

Who knows whether we'll have church branches there one day? I tell you! Nobody knows.

When God comes to some people to determine the reach they'll go, they won't do it well because they have not been faithful men in secret.

I remember a story. Elisha was dying and he told a king to open the window and shoot the arrows of victories.

II Kings 13:17-18, KJV

"17 And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the LORD's deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them.

18 And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed."

Guess how many times he smote the ground.

Just three times. Guess what follows for his lack of sufficiency and thoroughness.

II Kings 13:19, KJV

"And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice."

Imagine that! Meaning, Elisha was disappointed at that king. And I tell you, God was disappointed at that king also. That king by his own act of laziness determined his victory and its intensity. He could have had victory over victory until Syria is nowhere to be found again.

Have you not read of Scriptures like, "As you have said in my ears so will I do."

You'd better say good things and not be stupid.

You will be the one to determine how far you'll go and the reach you'll have especially when God comes to you through burdens like I've been saying. God will give you that open cheque by coming to you and saying, "Now, determine your reach in prayer and through the offer or responsibility of bearing burden or interceding for places or persons."

God won't tell you that by doing that, you're determining your future but I tell you, that's it.

I tell you, "As you say in God's hearing, so shall He do."

So, be diligent!

You shall see those places you have laboured over!

The husbandman ought to be the first partaker of the harvest. Isn't it?

Therefore, don't smite the ground once. Not even thrice. Strike it uncountably. Labour well and seriously for those places before God. Cast your bread on the water. Cast it! Cast it! Sow your seeds effectively into those places and one day when you're there, it shall be recollected to you what you once did.

Seeds that we sow don't get lost. Prayers that we pray live on until the day is dawn. They always return as HARVEST!

Look, you will reap what you've sown.

Why?

You've always been part and parcel of those places.

HANDING OUT CHRIST WHILE PASSING THROUGH - The Passing Through Of The Lord Series 006

Acts 8:40, KJV

"But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea."

We've seen so far through this series that walking through is not just for a stroll in the park. The same is being expressed through today's verse.

The church has benefited from persecution, suffering and scattering. You have heard of wind or birds dispersed seeds before. Where those seeds cannot get to by their own natural movement are eventually reached because they are carried by a host and taken to those far away places. Therefore their reach is extended even to places that they might not be native to. We all know how many coastal lines came to be residence for palm trees today. It's because the sea travelled and bore many coconuts which floated like rafters because of their water proof external core until they were washed to the shore where they began to germinate and take root.

These are seeds that never believed they could leave their native lands. However, they left and spread their fragrance, influence and benefits to men of other worlds. Just like it happens to seeds that could be transported from one place to a great far away, it often happens to Christians like that. In 2022, the war in Ukraine scattered the disciples and churches in Ukraine all over Europe. Notable of these churches or denominations is the God Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God of Pastor Sunday Adelaja. All these disciples in fleeing for their lives have fled all over Europe as refugees but one thing stands sure - their travelling around would see the gospel being passed around and reinforced through Europe again.

God can trust disciples not just to pass through a place but preach as they go. That's what our verse says Philip himself does and the many people who are scattered by persecution.

Acts 8:4, KJV

"Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word."

Did you see that? The Bible says, "They that were scattered went everywhere preaching the gospel." You see, they didn't drop the gospel. They've learnt the consequences of a soul without Christ. So, preaching the gospel even after being dispersed from their nativities and bases was still a priority.

Speaking of Philip, the Bible says, "But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea."

Imagine what Philip did! He just went on evangelizing. The opportunity of passing through the lands gives him the handy privilege of handing Jesus and the gospel out. Are you this conscious of the gospel and thoughtful for the perishing souls when you have the privilege of passing through places, people and institutions where may work? Even if your stay or residence is not permanent, do you preach Christ as you pass through? If you preach Christ as you pass through, you can't but spread Him and His knowledge and bring many people to salvation. For as many people who'll pioneer works like Philip in Samaria, I can even assure you that you may see powerful signs and wonders which are needed to break a land open to the gospel and to convict men (Acts 8:5-8).

While you too are passing through life, don't go empty handed. Dispersed Christians in Ukraine have been taking the gospel all over Europe and the world for over three years now. They didn't become depressed because they are refugees, mourning lives and properties they had lost. Rather, it is their habit as it was of the disciples to handover Christ and the gospel as they pass through places. Is that you also? Believe me, as you pass through, that's the Lord passing through. Christ in you is still the hope of glory. Let Him work in you and through you.

PRAYER: Let this mind be in me that the gospel must be preached to every creature for the saving of their souls and the securing of eternal life.
