CLEFTED AWAY

Exodus 33:22,KJV

"And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:"

When you're clefted away, you're hidden away from discovery of every perusing eyes and invigilating devices. There are spiritual technologies as well as physical ones that will scan but won't be able to visualize you. In this sense, inspection does not guarantee appearance or visibility. This is where the more you look, the less you see comes in. I call it "the wonder world."

I'll give you an example. There is an x-ray machine. That's an invention by man and not a spirit. It is a spiritual device that could receive knowing and awareness because of its make-up. This device however when used like its counterpart: the scanning machine - (used to invigilate a baby and its condition) will reveal the situation of things beyond what ordinary eyes could see. Isn't that wondrous?

These devices seem able and powerful. Except you don't scan a pregnant woman with a scanning machine, that's when the number of baby she has deep down the belly won't be revealed with the condition. Meanwhile, do you know we can deter or obstruct these machines from carrying out their purposes. For example, I could pray a simple prayer to either obstruct the eyes of the scanning machine or clift the baby so he (the baby) remains unrevealed to the machine's detection. Do you know it's possible? The fact that it is possible has been materialized severally in testimonies people shared. I've heard such testimonies uncountable times when the scanning machine (latest and improved upon ones) failed analyzing how many baby a mother had. At times,the scanner could pick one out of three! Then, shouldn't the wise ask where the other two were? They were clefted. They have been clefted all along. These are children living under the shadow of the Almighty. A shadow or shelter of God like a bed sheet is upon them in the womb. Such are always protected from envying eyes and jealous souls who seek to spoil testimonies.

By the information of the scan, the parents of such children could have been deceived into preparing for only a child instead of three. They won't sight reality until the other two are vomited from the womb from where the Almighty that clefted Moses had clifted them. All I pray is that the parents of such children would not be paupers.

There is power in clifting. When cleft, they might search for you but they won't pick the signal that you exist. They might comb the air, sea or land yet the info and response their enquiries and experts will report will be negative. As the clock ticks and the sand of life counts down, may shadow be casted on you by God to protect you from all ungodly perusing.

PRAYER: Hide my destiny. Clift me somewhere I can't be tampered with. I'm God protected!

THE FLOW IS ANSWERABLE TO YOUR WORK

READ II Kings 4:1-7

II Kings  4:3-6, KJV 

"3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.  4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.  5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.  6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed."

Do you know that the flow of oil from the original container is answerable to the number of empty containers that still need to be filled? At times, when God gives people open cheques, they do often misuse or under use it. 

The Bible didn't say "this woman regretted for having not borrowed more than the vessels she borrowed but if it were you, you might have said a thing like " had I known, I would have borrowed more vessels than these".

If God puts within your capacity to determine how much blessing you'll receive from Him, don't you think you'll under receive, averagely receive, fully receive or over receive?

We don't know where this woman belonged. She could have belonged to any of those four levels. 

The instruction of Elisha was "borrow vessels not a few". Indeed, she didn't borrow few. She must have borrowed many vessels. Now, the vessels she borrowed were all filled by the flow of oil until there was no more empty borrowed vessel to fill. That's when the oil stayed. If there was still a vessel to be filled, the flow would have gone on. Some won't realize how much effort they could have put into a thing to receive much more result until the outcome of their little effort comes out and it seems now to them as intangible.

You can carry spiritual blessings but if you don't give a body to it, it won't show. I want you know that nothing spiritual can manifest without giving it a body of expression - it seeks a channel. Only the body is what is visible, tangible and could be contacted by human senses. Even Jesus didn't come on earth until He took on flesh and became man who tabernacles with us full of grace and truth.

I Timothy  3:16, KJV 

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh..."

How much are you working? There's already an instruction for blessing to follow you, for the oil to keep flowing but the blessing stops spiritually and won't turn into what you can possess where you stop working. As long as you're giving the expression of work to what God has put on you, blessings will continue to show.

Don't under work. Don't averagely work. Rather over work. Flows are answerable to your own work. Spiritual blessing is on you. As long as you're doing something which is work, blessings will begin to show. God wants you maximize the opportunity of the free flow without a regret later. Always leverage on opportunities. Where you could have gathered a 100 vessels, please do more and gather 1,000.

Don't regret having under work or having not borrowed enough vessels. Where you could have filled a million vessel, don't fill a thousand. Where you could have filled a billion, don't fill a million.

PRAYER: Lord, I won't regret using fully the mandates, calling, gift and blessing you've put on me. Let me utilize all fully.

PRESTIGE OR RESPONSIBILITY?

Read Acts 6:1-5

Acts 10:9, KJV

"9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:  10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance"

Peter would have eaten but while the food was still being prepared, he went to pray. While he prays, he had a trance.

I'll like you focus your mind on Peter praying and some people cooking for Peter. He was not busying himself with prayer and thinking of when he'll cook. Many want prestige but they don't want responsibility. Peter got to a place where by responsibility, it is no longer his to look after some things. That's what some are intentionally looking to be relieved of yet they're not spending their lives on any purposeful thing that vindicates them of their desire. 

I ask, "responsibility or prestige?" In this month, I have only cooked three times. My eating throughout this month has been by ordering or eating out. Don't think another thing. That act of no longer cooking came as a result of some other responsibilities. I have some demands on me that makes it totally hard to cook. After getting home in the evening from the day's work, that's when I'll start another work even till midnight. My rest has been little. Considering that, if I want to be effective and deliver within fixed schedules, I needed to free my time of what another could do for me to assist me.

That job I was doing obviously gave me enough money that could cover for my food without my feeling it. So, I went for that. A superficial young chap may see that and wish he's also not cooking but commands someone around for it. Yet, he won't know I've being cooking all my life till this month. That's where having a wife comes in also for relieving of duties. 

This is where I now understood those high executives who have maids, drivers, P.A. etc. You see, your office or the kind of responsibilities that begin to come your way can fetch away from your hands some other duties. You'll just see that some duties are now obsolete. Even the new at your hand can become obsolete when you're promoted and need to leave it for a junior officer. If you look at high government officials or those individuals who have made their marks, they don't give attention to some lowly things. They rather pay for them. Many of us have abused them and called them lazy because we thought they were trying to escape responsibility but not at all. They are the busiest if you don't know. They're even busier than you. You might have said, "what will I need a maid for?" It's because your work is not yet overstretching. When it does, you'll have people to take care of many things in your life. You'll even have a secretary!

When I look at the Bible, I saw that the disciples were not trying to look bossy when they drop assignments or delegate it. They only want to keep their focus and let their priority be on the utmost concern that they shouldn't be diverted from. Do you remember Satan could have wrapped the apostles into the ministry of serving food if they had not separated between the most important and important.

Acts 6:2-4, KJV

"2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.  3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. 4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word."

Now, what happened there occur because of a population explosion of the church. So, some were neglected as an oversight because they didn't have much hands to equal the population at hand. When your prayer begin to be answered and growth of all kind begins to take place in your life, some good problems will show up. The 12 said it doesn't make sense for them to leave God's Word to serve tables. They chose the job to stick to and the one to employ hands for.

This is the life of high executives in the real world. There are those that rarely sleep yet they must sleep. Is it the time you have to sleep you'll now consider giving to dry cleaning. Why don't you pay for that service to free your time? That's that life. That's why some professionals are still in demand. At times, if you meet great people functioning in their Adamic mandate like the twelve in their Jesus mandate, you may say they're wasting money because he has a gatekeeper, guards, cooks, cleaners, drivers, secretary, head of house staff, utility manager etc. It is not. If he's careless, he'll suffer loss and as not to suffer, he must learn effectiveness. Just like he's busy, the wife is also since she has a career or business she's growing. That also has rubbed on the children who are beginning to be known in their fields. They rarely do house chores themselves because they must be relevant where they're looking for them. It is not that they were not groomed from the start to know all those just like their parents could do it. Growth only has shown them priority and that isn't sin, pride or laziness. 

Our race is against time and to do much more where God has called us, jettison what isn't very much the details of your calling to embrace for life what is the core of your assignment that will keep you relevant in this world. 

PRAYER: I receive the strength of a high leader. I operate by wisdom to rank needs.

THE NEIGHBOUR OF YOURS THAT'S BETTER THAN YOU

I Samuel 15:28, KJV

"And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou."

Some times ago, a fellow began to contemplate on packing up his relationship. He's engaged and somehow wants to call it quit. As he ponders the matter, this afore quoted verse came to him. "If you go, I'll marry the lady to a neighbour of yours (someone you know) who's better than you". That's how the brother exercised caution and stayed his plan. At least, the sister hasn't done any fearful thing for which she should be put away. Only few have experienced God in this fearful manner also. 

Do you know there is a neighbour of yours that's better than you too? People don't like such message to them. Meanwhile, they like talking about Saul and Judas Iscariot as the replaced and substituted. What you too must know is that once you begin to be unfaithful and show open rebellion consistently over a thing, there's a neighbour of yours (a substitute) that God can bring to collect what He has committed into your hands from you. In order not to lose any thing God has given you, faithfulness is therefore key. The Bible says:

I Corinthians 4:2, KJV

 "Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful."

Those of you who are in relationships but are not faithful; God has you in mind today. You now enjoy the presence of another than that of your partner and it's beginning to be to their detriment. That's the term of your marriage you're beginning to go against. If you continue to live like this until you become a violator of the marriage covenant properly without taking thought for repentance; God, who knows how to divide between two people knows how to deliver your spouse and give it to your neighbour who's better than you. What are you good for again? If you have defiantly violated the marriage vows on which your marriage stands with refusal to acknowledge same, you are good for nothing but be taken away in order to free your other partner to be given to a neighbour of yours who off course will cherish him/her better. God freed Abigail from Naboth you know. 

What I'll like you know is not to think too highly of yourself. What you're doing, God has a better choice to do it if you become an unfaithful, unyielding, unrepentant and seeking vindication Saul. You can't threaten God but you should be fearful when God comes around like this. He is the One we all have to do. It is wisdom to pass His tests both in the open and in the secret. Consistent failing of God's test will be deemed unfaithfulness and this calls for nothing else but a shift of responsibility and assignment. You may say, who will collect my spouse from me? I've married this one already and can treat any how. If God sees you're truly taken advantage of your partner but they need a saviour, God will collect them from you. There are marriages like that where the other partner is even praying for salvation and God Himself knows it worth it. The fellow in it is just trapped. When God talks of a neighbour of yours that's better than you, He isn't joking. When God gave Joseph a dream of his brothers worshipping him which they fought, it still came to pass in 13 years from then. What you should concern yourself with is never to let a voice like this speaks to you. If you're beginning to be unfaithful like Saul in ministry, marriage etc, you can repent before God comes with such sentence. What you don't value but begin to trample on can't but have the respect of another. 

Have you not read of Belshazzar? When he refused to know his measure but rather desecrated holy vessels in his custody, his kingdom was collected from him and given to someone else.

Daniel  5:26-28, KJV

"26 This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. 27 TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. 28 PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians."

God measured him and found him wanting. God is measuring many people at this hour also. The Bible says that same night, he was killed and his kingdom given to another - Darius.

May God help you to jealousy guide all He has given you. You must know you're a steward and must remain so. If you don't, you'll open a crack for another to take over from you; enjoy what you should be enjoying and be its possessor for ever. May God instruct you earlier. 

PRAYER: Fearful God, have mercy on my  unfaithfulness. Be gentle on me and let me prove myself again.

THOSE WHO CAN'T DIG YET CAN'T BEG

READ Luke 16:1-9

Luke 16:3, KJV

"Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed."

When you cannot dig or beg, poverty will enter. A man that begs and lives by that to a degree is a poor fellow but in comparison, a man that can't beg (when he has no other source of income) will radiate to poverty faster and deeply than one who begs to survive (he will still have a thing to live on). It is either you belong to one of the categories.

Work brings out the full installed capacity of God in you. We do not work to earn money first of all but to learn something. What you work to learn and become a master in can then begin to give you money. If you work as an employee somewhere, ensure you master what they're doing there. If you're a teacher in a school and you carefully consider daily, you can be mentored by how things are done in your employer's institution in order to start your own one day. Why attention is not being paid is because people haven't seen reasons of starting something of their own one day. The confidence to start something doesn't fall on people like that. It takes a man that has followed to a degree to start something either in the secular or in the Lord. Confidence level which assures one of success in what one wants to found is increased by the level of one's following which might have been accumulated as experience. You must work. There is dignity of labour. When you work and money comes back as reward for instance, irrespective of how little  it is, you feel happy about it. Any who don't work can't know the joy of the reaper. There is a joy that comes as a recompense of what one has worked for.

Psalms 4:7, KJV

"Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased."

From here, there is a gladness that comes with increment of corn and wine. When what you're doing yields, produces or bring increase, what it brought is your profit for engaging in such business the very first time. 

Now, what if you can't work? You shouldn't be dignified (too high) to beg. Dignity is not pride but it can become pride. All of us must have dignity. It is out of sense to become habitual on somebody's door step. We may all need occasional helps. You may even need to borrow for investment but mind you, don't let it be said of you that you survive by begging. Doing that will cost you estimation. When you're a beggar, you will feel accountable to those sponsoring you. They can call you to do any kind of job for them. You will feel like a tool in their hands that they can weave in any direction. That's one of the things the Jews fight against. They don't want to be owned and because of that, they rally round to help themselves so that a non-Jew would not buy them over.

When you beg, you have intentionally by yourself made useless all in you by deposit or acquisition. If you have gifts, skill, education or calling, it all becomes irrelevant because none of such in you is being deployed.

If you're dignified to beg (which is what God wants), you'll lower yourself to work. Do you know it's hard disrobing from one's honour to putting on the servants sleeves or labourer's garments to work? 

When you're a beggar, you'll always be owing people. Christianity has never encouraged living habitually as a beggar. It encourages entrepreneurship rather. No matter how belittling what you do is, there is honour there. It gives you the sense of an owner and not somebody casting down his golden crowns before another.

Don't turn out like this man that pride has riddled. If not pride, shouldn't a man that can't work beg. That's the consequent option. If you feel too big to disrobe, you should feel humble to plead for life. When you beg, some people limits you by deciding what they give you. When you work, you have a wider space to earn and you're the only one who could limit yourself. If I become limited by working and not rely on proceeds from another's work, that's preferable than putting my limitation in another's hands. Wherever you're tied habitually to people's aprons, may you be helped to break free as you work.

PRAYER: Beautify work to me. Lead me into a work that satisfies and fills gulf inside me.

WHAT CHEERS GODS AND MEN

Read Judges 9:1-21

Judges 9:12-13, KJV

"12 Then said the trees unto the vine, Come thou, and reign over us. 13 And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?"

The vine lays claim to one thing: that is the ingredient or portion God created with it that makes it to be desired by men. The vine has wine by which gods and men are cheered. "Cheer" means make happy. It can't be debated again that wine has that potency. In the moment of sorrow, wine is taken by such depressed in order to forget the sorrow at hand. That's why Lemuel's mother advised wine should be given to the perishing [Prov. 31:6-7].

Also, in the moment of joy, wine is reclined in to celebrate. This is what Jotham said the vine won't let go as its purpose of creation. 

In essence, we know that the vine has value. God created the vine not to be an ordinary plant. God created it to be a desired plant that all will have to do with and that's because of what it produces which man can't but need. If man would be cheered, then they must continually collect grapes from the vine to process into wine. If you get to the palace in ancient times and houses of nobles, one major drink that you can't but see is wine of the grape. What an importance! May God rank you this high also. It's your value that ranks you as important.

So also, God has not let you alone. Man may be man but man can be an anointed man. When you're anointed, you carry the oil. You carry something that the world will be on the look for.  What did Jesus say about His oil and its value to men? 

Isaiah 61:1-2, KJV

"1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn."

Just like the vine has wine that cheers gods and men, so also any anointed. It is not good being on earth without having value to offer. Let me ask you, "the vine has wine that cheers both gods and men; Jesus and all anointed have the anointing that minister to men; what do you have that can benefit men?

Look inward and look at something that God has given you to bring delight to the world. The anointing of Jesus didn't bring dampness to people's spirit but rather a lifting and forward ministration. The vine also cheers. It doesn't make sad. Who are those that God is giving the ministry of cheering to today? This world is depressed. May God anoint you to be a cheerer of the world. May you not lack what can cheer people. May you become Barnabas - the son of encouragement the world is looking for. 

PRAYER: I will be cheered by the Holy Ghost and by the Holy Ghost cheer others.

WHEN PROMPTNESS NEED TO ANSWER

I Kings 18:26, KJV

"And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made".

There is always a moment that you will enter into as a Christian or minister (when you're under fire) but needs a word from God. Just like ships are anchored and so stay; words from God being sought at such desperate moment is for one to anchor one's life, and whatsoever on.

When you need the promptness of God, may God give it. In the Mount Carmel contest between Elijah and the prophet of Baals, they couldn't get their gods set fire on the sacrifice they had prepared. The God that answers by fire has been agreed upon by both parties and the people as the God that is God and that would be followed. So, it is really a matter of life and death. It is the moment when one's god or God needs to prove his being alive and not disappear. At such moment when the liveliness of a god or God is being questioned, there is need for an immediate response. Evidence must be clear undeniably and must be prompt.

The prophets of Baal after setting the sacrifice in order called on their god but there was no voice nor sound. No voice means nothing at all. Every place was just quiet. They are the ones on the scene and all their acts to summon their god proves futile.

This is the time of desperation, no god will leave his worshippers unattended to. Even if he is busy, such moment calls for a dropping of whatsoever he's doing to give utmost priority to this very desperate ones. Despite how thick the matter was, despite the looming shame awaiting all these prophets, yet their God never responds. Nothing. They were forlorn. They were left to themselves.

I'll like you know that even before the great civilization, a desire has been created in the hearts of men to communicate with the Divine. In search of who the divine is - in order to connect back to where they originate from, they found for themselves other gods that they entrust their lives to trusting it would be enough to oversee all and all for them. All these gods are not God and they can't substitute Him though there's a contest all over the world to have God substituted. One of the continents that's littered with idols and relics of it is not only Africa but Asia. You'll wonder why people are still in thick darkness.

When people are desperate for answers, they will be shock there is no voice nor sound. Why? That God they've entrusted their lives to isn't the living one but a lifeless idol. Even if it's a living thing they call their god but who's an idol, that is still not Jehovah, the Creator of heaven and earth who is to be worshipped through Jesus Christ.

So, to avoid the disgrace of a day like this, you had better known the God that answers by fire and gives prompt feedback. Elijah trusted in Him and indeed He (God) proved for Him.
